Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman are on commentary.

Ian Riccaboni interviews Lacey Lane. He says she beat Robyn Renegade and that put her in a CMLL Women's Title match vs Persephone. She is asked about her strategy. Lane says she brings a unique offense and a strong lucha style. She says she has something you won't want to miss. She says if she wins the title, she is bringing it straight to CMLL. She says Persephone needs to dig further than she ever has before to win. She says she won't want to miss this.

Lexi Nair interviews Persephone. She says she feels there is confusion over who she is. She talks about her background and says she speaks English but then talks in Spanish. She asks if her opponent came here to stand or for a fight.

CMLL Women's Title - Persephone (c) vs Lacey Lane

Pers backs her up in the corner and misses a shot. Pers trips her. Lane cartwheel takedowns her. Pers rolls her into a crucifix for 1. Pers backslides her into a bridge. Lane crucifixes her. Lane then twerks at her. Lane armdrags her. Pers chases her and Lane springboard dropkicks her. 

Lane takes an electric chair drop face first on the apron. Pers hits shots in the corner on her. Lane is put on the 2nd rope and Pers handstand double knee drops her in the corner. Pers chinlocks her. Lane trips her and sweeping kicks her on the mat. Lane hits chest kicks and Pers exploders her for 2. 

Pers hits knees to the gut and armdrags her. Pers splits the fingers and running back elbows her. Lane superkicks her in the face. Lane basement dropkicks her then running facekicks her. Lane springboard dropkicks her. Pers wheelbarrow germans her. 

Pers headbutt flurries Lane. Lane hurricanrana's her out of splash mountain. Lane slices her on the back of the neck. Lane bottom rope springboard tornillo elbow drops her. Pers hits a big spear then hits a kneeling razor's edge to win.

Thoughts: The action was definitely a step up from what we usually get and I thought they did well for the girls. Lane's not like super athletic but what she does is enough and makes her stand out some. I didn't expect much from this but ended up enjoying it. The justification for this was funny as they said Lane beating Robyn Renegade got her this shot, but most of the roster has beaten Robyn at some point in time. 

Skyflight (Dante Martin, Darius Martin and Zayda Steel) vs The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) and Isla Dawn

JD slaps away Darius' handshake. JD wristlocks him. Darius headflips and is pulled down by the hair. Darius then pushes JD down by the head. Darius armdrags him. JD htis some shots. Darius takes corner attacks and a spinning heel kick from the heels. Zack elbows Darius in the head then suplexes him. Zack takes an atomic drop into a flying shoulder. 

Dante springboard double crossbodies the heels. Dante jumping knees JD. Zay is tagged in. She corner crossbodies JD. JD takes a bulldog onto a knee. JD is double lariated over the top. Isla gets in. Zay side headlocks her then flying headscissors her. 

Zay snapmares her then basement drpkicks her. Isla high kicks her and saito suplexes her or 2. Isla hits mounted shots on her. Isla back elbows her down and knees her in the back. Isla does a grounded cobra clutch. Zay spin kicks her in the gut and they pump kick each other at the same time. 

Dante comes in and hits forearms on JD. Dante bottom rope springboard dropkicks him. 
Dante springboard crossbodies JD for 2. Darius tornado ddt's Zack off of Dante. Isla blocks The Martin's dive. Zay nails Isla and dropkicks her. The faces do triple topes out. JD takes a dropkick into a german. Zack forearms Darius and JD step up enzugiri's Darius. Dante flying knees JD. Darius pele kicks Zack. 

Zay and Isla go at it. They shove each other then hockey fight. Isla eye rakes her. Zay ripcord koppo kicks Isla and pins her.

Thoughts: I think this is Zay's biggest win so far. It got a lot of time and was acceptable. Dante didn't do anything too crazy Zay's finisher didn't look that good here.

The Swirl do a promo. They say Jay Lethal will be in their corner at the ROH/MLP Global Wars show and says he will be in their corner there.

Myron Reed vs Mansoor

They shake hands. Man takes him down and armlocks him. Man wristlocks him and Reed throws him by the wrist. Man fish hooks him and side headlocks him. Man shoulders him over. Reed legdrops him over the back of the neck. Man wants to touch tips then tries to kick him. Reed flips him. Reed hits corner spears. Man 2nd rope diving bulldogs him.

Man double axe handles Reed. Man elbows drops him. Man eye rakes Reed on the ropes then facelocks him. Reed hits some shots. Man boots him out of the corner then he is swept on the buckles. Reed legdrops Man over the 2nd rope. Reed kips down out of a lariat, kips up and enzugiri's him. 

Reed ddt's him. Reed bridging F-5's him on the ropes. Johnny TV gets on the apron and distracts the ref. Reed blocks Man's eye poke then rolls him up for 2. Man death valley drivers him. MxM TV try to beat up Zach Wentz outside but they end up nailing each other instead. Reed dropkicks Dez and Wentz then Reed diving cutters Man off the apron onto the other 4 outside. Reed springboard 450's Man and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout there with Reed doing some nice flying. I liked his flying cutter off over the top spot as at least he didn't land back first on the floor from it. Reed won but these guys are tag wrestlers and it doesn't matter much.  

TMDK (Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haster) vs Better Together (Hadar Horvitz and Ori Gold)

Ori has the long hair. Shane armdrags HH and armlocks him. Shane low dropkicks him in the back of the head. TMDK hit a fist drop + standing moonsault combo for 1. Mikey chops HH then corner lariats him. shane kicks HH in the back. HH spinning forearms Shane then Shane takes a PK from Ori on the apron.

Better Together hug and yank Shane's arms back together. Shane reverse slams HH. Mikey htis running corner attacks on his opponents then hits a double lariat. Mikey chops down Ori then death valley drivers him. Mikey low sliding lariats him. HH takes a powerbomb + uranage combo. Ori takes a double slap then a double pendulum drop backwards. Mikey pins Ori.

Thoughts: It was pretty much a squash here and a random one at that. It didn't do a lot for TMDK, but if they are going to be sticking around, they gotta start picking up wins somewhere. This wasn't much of note. 

Deonna Purrazzo does a promo on her Global Wars opponent. She says she's at her best when the lights are on bright and she's working in precision. She says to beat her, you have to do it The Pure-azzo way.

ROH Women's Pure Rules Title Proving Ground Match - Deonna Purrazzo vs. Robyn Renegade

So since Lane got a title shot off of beating Robyn before, will Deonna get a title shot if she beats Robyn?

DP twists to escape a headlock. DP rolls out of a wristlock and poses. DP trips and side headlocks RR on the mat. DP rolls her up for 2 then RR rolls her up for 2. RR uses her first ropebreak. RR running euros her in the corner and drops her chest first for 2.

RR dropkicks DP. RR does an abdominal stretch variation then DP takes her down with an armbar. RR use her 2nd ropebreak. DP flying knees her off the 2nd rope. DP russian legsweeps her then rolls into an armbar on her. DP chest kicks her down. 

RR and DP trade forearms. DP lariats her down. RR kneelifts her. RR puts her over the 2nd rope and double stomps her back for 2. RR twisting suplexes her. RR misses a 2nd rope moonsault. DP short arm lariats her. DP hits a stiff powerbomb and submits her with an armbar.

Thoughts: DP won as expected here. She did her usual arm holds before submitting her with one. RR did what she was supposed to do and it was fine. 

Nick Comoroto vs. Anthony Ogogo

AO shoves his head from behind and gets in his face. Nick waistlock takedowns him and armlocks him. Nick lifts him up by the wrist and then flips him by the wrist. Nick corner splashes him. Nick misses a corner charge and goes down. AO hits gut punches.

AO euros him then Nick backslides him. AO hits a big gut shot. AO back elbows him and Nick powerslams him. Nick hits polish hammers then double underhook suplexes him. Nick powerslams him. AO olympic slams him for 2. Nick rolls him up for 2. Shawn Dean hits Nick with a title beat. AO pop up punches Nick. AO lays the British flag on Nick. Nick gets up and takes a punch. Ao then pins him.

Thoughts: It was an okay heavyweight battle here. AO stuck to his punches and Nick used his size against him some before going down. AO won but neither of these guys have been around that much so I'm not sure it matters.

ROH Women's TV Title - Red Velvet (c) vs Trish Adora)

Red is hit from behind while she poses with the belt. TA clubs on her and sends Red into the rails. TA forearms her down. Red is sent into the post. Red gets back in and is clubbed and stomped on. Red is put in a submission upside down and over the knee. TA pulls Red's arms back and sits on her shoulder. TA hits shots to the gut then foot chokes her in the corner. Christyan XO chokes Red on the ropes.

Red clubs on her then backbreakers her. Red is shouldered over. Red hits shots to the gut then ddt's her. Red hits more gut shorts then boots her in the corner. Red foot chokes her. Red meteora's her from behind on the ropes. 

Red ear claps her with her feet out of a tombstone. Red stunners her then TA facekicks her for 2. Reed boots her in the face. TA is on her knee and Red forward rolling ddt's her. Christyan gets on the apron and Red goes for her. TA powerslams Red for 2. The girls trade pin attempts and Red wins.

Thoughts: It went longer than it needed to. The work was acceptable but it went long and started to lose my interest. I thought it was average.

Christyan XO lifts Red after for a flatliner then stomps her with Trish. Zayda Steel comes out and saves Red.

Red gets on the mic. She complains about the heels trying to jump her. She says she has a bad b!tch next to her and says whenever they want it, say when and say less. Zayda say to jump Red now as she is a fighting champ. Zay says Red made her feel welcome when she got here. Zay says they are hating @ss b!tches. Zay says anytime someone wants to jump Red, see her too. Red says the girls and boys here are cowards. Trish says she never sweats a challenge and backs off as Red walks up to her. 

ROH Women's Title - Athena (c) vs Maya World

Ath armdrags her then Maya armdrags back. Ath armdrags her from the mat. Maya goes over her and shakes her finger at her. Maya enzugiri's her then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers her. Maya fisherman suplexes her. They trade shots outside. Ath is sent into the steps. 

Ath double throat thrusts her then reverse alabama slams her on the side of the steps. Ath hits forearms in the corner. Maya jawbreakers her. Ath shotgun dropkicks her. Ath forward handspring forearms her for 2.

Ath backsplashes her. Maya throws her face first into the 2nd buckle. Ath goes low and Maya double stomps her. Maya spin kicks her in the gut and germans her for 2. Maya comes off the bottom rope and Ath kicks her. Ath basement dropkicks her and baseball slides her out. 

Ath koji clutches her and Maya ropebreaks. Ath forearms her and Maya kicks her in the gut. Ath flying kicks her. Ath kicks her off th apron. Ath goes for a dive and is kicked. They get on the apron and Ath suplexes her on the floor. Maya beats the countout count to get back in the ring. They trade forearms on their knees. 

Ath yells at her to stay down. Maya high kicks her. Ath urakens her. They trade pin attempts. Maya flying headscissors her and john woo's her in the corner. Maya cartwheel forearms her. Maya goes up top. Billie Starkz comes out and trips her. Maya then jumps on Diamanate. Hyan comes out and nails Billie. Ath then topes Hyan. Ath canadian destoryers Maya for 2.

Ath forearms and slaps her. Ath goes on the ropes and is sunset bombed down. Maya twisting drops her on her chest for 2. Maya goes for an o-face and Ath side steps it. Ath gets upset. Ath punts her and clubs on her. Ath pumphandle tombstones her for 2. Billie throws Hyan in and beats her up. Diamante gives Ath a title belt and she nails Maya with it. Ath then hit a top rope diving o-face and pins her.

Thoughts: This felt like it went over forever despite only going 19 minutes. They were having a back and forth match and then had Athena's come down which added nothing and took away some from this. I was alright with this at first but it went on and on and I couldn't buy that Maya was going to be the one to beat Ath for the title. They definitely did raise Maya's stock here and made it clear she's not some jobber though, so this was a win for her. It also seems like we are probably getting some kind of tag match out of this. 

Overall thoughts: It was a long show at about 1 hour and 45 minutes. It didn't have as much random filler as usual though and I can at least come up with justifications for 5-6 of the matches happening. We had 3 champs in action which was nice. Wrestling wise the show was fine though the main definitely ran too long and got brought down with outside shenanigans. I'd say the opener was the best thing on here. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as a lot of the issues this show usually has were not factors here.
