Dusty hinted at Darsow being a former tag team champ under a different name and Hudson accused him of trying to smarten the people up.

Regal picked up the win after nailing Darsow with the flag and then putting him in the Regal Stretch. Fun match here. Lots of good punches and uppercuts with some nice snug work. Dusty was on the mic and was loving this as was I. This was nothing but the basics and despite them not doing a ton, it was a fun little slugfest.

The finish

Fit Finley got the win with a tombstone. This was only about 3-4 minutes long but it was snug and mean. The crowd chanted boring, which sucked, but there was nothing wrong about this at all. Barry held up quite well but didn't get much in.

WCW Saturday Night 1/31/1998 - Mike Enos and Wayne Bloom vs Disorderly Conduct

Enos and Bloom are the former Beverly Brothers and Destruction Crew of the AWA. They got stuck with the "90's Curse" as I'm starting to call it. I call it that because during that time American wrestling was struggling and both WWF and WCW were in creative droughts. Due to it, a ton of good workers with potential never really made it like they should have including Mike Awesome, The Patriot, John Nord and others.

The finish

Enos and Bloom got the win here with the Shaker Heights Spike. This was short but fun. Disorderly Conduct didn't get too much in but at least they posed a threat and didn't seem like complete jobbers. Mike Enos looked like a beast here in perhaps the best shape of his career doing big power moves. I felt the ring was a little bit too small for the former Destruction Crew/Beverly Brothers of Enos and Bloom. Good stuff.
