WWE Monday Night Raw 10/19/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/wwe-monday-night-raw-10122026.html

We are in San Diego, CA. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

Roman Reigns arrives in a car and is handed his title. Sami Zayn arrives behind him and walks past him.

Sami Zayn comes out to talk. He asks how many people came to ride or die with the last real good guy. Roman Reigns then interrupts. Roman takes forever to come out like usual. He says it's good to see Sami. They hug. Sami says he feels the same about him.

Sami says he gets all the stuff Roman told him about the burden of being champ. Sami says he gets it now. He says he also gets the disrespect Roman talked about. Sami says it all makes sense to him now.

Roman does his acknowledge me line to the crowd. Sami says it feels like old times. Roman says it's funny he came here as it's his (Roman's) show. Roman says he has an opportunity or a favor for him. Roman says the most important title Sami has ever had is "honorary uce". Roman asks if they are here to discuss the titles or discuss 946. Roman asks if he's here out of greed or love. He asks if he's here to serve The Bloodline.

Sami says Bloodline was some of the best times of his life and career. He says they are family. Sami says he's the head of his own table on Smackdown and needs to do things his way. He says he's the undisputed WWE champ. Roman says his title isn't a title but the title. Sami says Roman used to say the other title was the "A Title". He says maybe the title isn't important, but it's the arrogance. Roman says maybe it's about the man who holds the title. Roman says the title hasn't meant sh!t since Wrestlemania 40.

Sami says they won't act like the WWE Title isn't one of the hardest titles to win. He says they won't minimize his achievement. He says it's one in a billion. He says there's 8 billion people on the planet and only one is WWE champ and it's him.

Sami says he's disappointed and he didn't want things to go this way. He says what bothers him is that Roman isn't sweating him despite their match being 2 weeks away. He says Roman if anyone should know what kind of threat he is. Roman says he knows who he is and says Sami might not even have the title by the time they get to Crown Jewel.

Thoughts: It was alright but Roman just had to buy the other title like he always does.

Thoughts: Bron losing, even with interference, shows how low his stock is. It was a slower paced match. It was acceptable but not quite as good as it could have been. Bron did a few more suplexes here than usual.

Thoughts: The Funkpop stuff here was a bit amusing. I was surprised to see JD win. It was acceptable.

JD stomps Joe after.

Lyra Valkyria is in the back and Bayley is sneaking up behind her. Lyra thinks she's there but doesn't see her. Lyra then tries to hide and hit her but nails Lola Vice instead. Lola tells her to meet her in the ring tonight.

Thoughts: It was alright as expected with a lot of flying. Lee almost took a very bad german on his head here. It had a good pace to it with a lot of exciting stuff. I thought Chad might lose here since his face run isn't going that great but he won it.

Chad and Rey hug after and Chad holds his arm up. Ethan Page comes in and attacks both.

Big Cass attacks Dragon Lee and chokeslams him on the rail top. Page fisherman buster's Chad and holds his title up after. Page then does it again.

Overall thoughts: Bron/Penta was acceptable. Iyo's ksy match was fine. JD/Joe was acceptable as was Vice/Lyra. The 3-waywas an okay match that was full of flying. That was the best match on here. The main event segment was alright enough and likely set up a Wargames match. It was an okay episode of Raw overall and I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
