WWE Evolve 10/14/2026 Evolve Succession IV

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/wwe-evolve-1072026.html

Note - Laynie Luck, Cappuccino Jones, Sam Holloway and Marcus Mathers are gone from WWE. Cap and Sam getting cut are big surprises. I never really thought Sam even needed to be in Evolve and WWE was clearly high on Cap for a while.

Note 2 - This went up against WWE Main Event and AEW Dynamite. There were no announcements about this show changing days or times to make room for Main Event and the show appears that it will stay on Wednesdays at 8PM for now.

We are at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Robert Stone and Blake Howard are on commentary.

Wnedy Choo says she should be walking in as champ but Nikkita took it away from her. She says she will be the last woman standing.

Nikkita Lyons and Sloane Jacobs talk. Lyons says she will put Choo back to sleep and be the last man standing.

Harley Riggins says this is where the road to NXT begins or ends. He says his reign starts tonight.

Harlem Lewis says this is an event where a chammp builds a resume. He says he will take his Harlem Violence World Tour to the next level.

The hosts talk and welcome us to the show.

WWE Evolve Title - Harlem Lewis (c) vs Harley Riggins

They go face to face and trade forearms. Lewis corner splashes him and short arm lariats him. Lewis lariats him over the top rope to the floor twice. Lewis is booted in the face as he gets in and HR curbstomps his face into the mat. HR stomps him. HR hits snake eyes and claymore kicks him for 2.

Lewis jawbreakers him and back elbows him. HR tilt-a-whirl slams him for 2. We go to break and return. HR hits forearms. Lewis back body drops him. Lewis hits lariats and jumping knees him. Lewis catches HR's back splash and Lewis germans him on neck/head. Lewis michinoku drivers him for 2.

HR throws him down backwards. HR double jump twisting swantons him for 2. HR misses a corner charge and Lewis spears him. Lewis jackhammers him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter but explosive match. They all did high impact moves here and both guys got slammed pretty good. This was a good battle and one of the best matches both guys have had. This really worked out about as well as it could have and this lived up to expectations. It was an okay match here. Riggins took a hard german on his neck.

Adriana Rizzo (now fired) interviews Harlem Lewis after. He says he loves a good fight. He says Riggins is his toughest challenger so far. Riggins then nails him from behind. Riggins boots him and sends him into the rails and steps. Riggins slams him on the bottom half of the steps and chairs him in the gut. The ref takes the chair from Riggins. Riggins then drops the top part of the steps while Harlem lays on the bottom of steps. We couldn't see it clearly though. Harlem bleeds from the mouth. Riggins says something about it being his ring and the Evolve Title into the camera. Officials check on Lewis.

We see clips of Josiah Jean being signed to WWE ID at a Reality of Wrestling show. Booker T tells him the good news.

Vanta The Unknown vs Laynie Luck

They lock up. Luck hammerlocks her and side headlocks her. Vanta reverses it. Luck side headlock takeovers her then rolls her into a crucifix for 2. Vanta hammerlocks her. Luck kips up from the mat and wristlocks her. Vanta forearms her and cartwheels on the ropes.

Luck trips her and bottom rope elbow drops her on the back for 2. Luck is on the 2nd rope and Vanta stunners her. Vanta stomps her for 2. Vanta grounded chinlocks her.

Vanta ducks a facekick, upkicks her and does a capoeira style kick to her. Vanta boots her in the corner. Vanta does la suastica to her. Vanta cobra twists her. Luck hiptosses her.

Luck high kicks her down. Luck hits lariats. Luck upkicks her. Luck pumping knees her. Luck bottom rope springboard double stomps her on the apron for 2. Vanta tiger feint lariats her for 2. Luck sunset flips her. Vanta rolls her, traps one arm and armbars the other. Luck then submits.

Thoughts: It was a fun little match here. Vanta continues to look like a star. Luck had one of her best matches yet against her and it's a shame, because it's going to be one of her last WWE matches since she is now gone. Vanta won as expected.

Adriana Rizzo interviews Elijah Holyfield. Eli says it's no secret he's on his way to the top. He says he knows it and so does Braxton Cole. He says Cole is dumber than he looks if he thinks they are done. Eli wants to run it back. The now fired Marcus Mathers comes out. He says everything he said about Cole is true. He says he took Eli's best shot and he's tough but not unstoppable. He says he can run circles around him and Braxton Cole. Eli says the first punch was a warning and the next one will change his life. It's GAL then comes out and breaks this up for some reason. Gal tells Marcus it's not worth it.

We get a video where they talk about how some of the former and current Evolve wrestlers are doing.

Sloane Jacobs comes out and says everything is perfectly aligned. She says her inspiration makes her 4th title defense at Succession IV. She says it's the woman with a the voice of an angel, the heart of a lion and the presence of a champion. She says she fulfills her prophecy as the last woman standing. She then brings out Nikkita Lyons.

WWE Evolve Women's Title - Last Woman Standing Match - Nikkita Lyons (c) vs Wendy Choo

Choo has been fired, so she will probably lose here.

Choo runs at her and hits shots. Lyons hits some nice punches. Choo flying headscissors her. Choo running facekicks her in the corner and sends her out. Choo chairs her in the gut outside. Lyons superkicks her in the gut. Lyons misses a chairshot against the post. Choo superkicks her.

Choo gets hit in the gut with a kendo stick. Lyons puts a trash can over Choo's head and hits it with the kendo stick. Lyons then boots her over. Choo pepsi twist lariats her. Skylar Raye is in the VIP Lounge.

Choo pulls out a table. Lyons bangs Choo's head off the table. Choo suplexes her. Choo gets forearmed and sent into a trash can between the buckles. Lyons and Sloane taunt Choo.

We go to break and return. Choo goes for a german off the apron through a table but Lyons holds onto the ropes. Lyons high kicks Choo. Lyons top rope dropkicks Choo. We are told Harlem Lewis has been sent to the hospital. Lyons grabs nunchuks and hits Choo with them. Lyons then pulls them around her mouth.

They trade shots. Choo full nelson slams her. Choo then grabs the nunchuks and hits Lyons with them. Choo pepsi twist lariats Lyons. Choo bridging ddt's her. Lyons spin kicks her. Lyons michinoku drivers her on a trash can.

Sloane pulls out a black bag for Lyons. Lyons pours out the bag and it has legos in it. Choo does a dirtnap on Lyons and Lyons rolls out to break it. PJ Vasa, who is also now fired, comes out and double lariats Lyons and Choo. PJ sends Choo into the post and sends Lyons into the rails.

Choo and Lyons hit each other in the ring. Choo chops her and Lyons chest kicks her. Choo full nelson slams her on the lego's. Sloane helps Lyons up and Lyons gets hold of a crystal. Sloane grabs Choo's foot on the apron. Lyons spin kicks Choo off the apron, sending her through a table. Choo can't get up before the 10 count and she's out. Nikkita Lyons wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout here. We got a couple of hardcore spots and it was one of Lyons' better matches. There was nothing wrong with this one and they did fine.

Skylar Rae points at Lyons and Sloane after, seemingly wanting a title shot.

We get an update on Harlem Lewis. Lewis has suffered a serious injury and is out of action indefinitely.

Overall thoughts: It was a good show overall. We had 3 matches and all over delivered. Harlem Lewis is now out though which should change things up and 4 different people on this show have since been fired, which should also change things up going forward. Lewis/Riggins was the match of the night. I'd give this a 7 out of 10. They delivered here.
