AAA on Fox 10/17/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/aaa-on-fox-10102026.html

We are in Leon, Guanajuato. Corey Graves, Rey Mysterio and JBL are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

La Catalina comes out. She says having the title isn't a dream but reality. She says she's the new champ and Reina de Reina's. She says the world changed in 2026 and she found out why she traveled so far to achieve her dream.

She says she beat Flammer, who was the longest reigning women's champ. She says she was told she couldn't do it and had to make a lot of sacrifices. She says your dreams can become a reality. She says there's a new era for the women in AAA. She says she wants to be the best and face the best. She says this is her story and the beginning.

Las Toxicas come out. Flammer questions the new era line. She says it's not a new era but a spark of good luck. She says she had a good night at Triplemania. Flammer says she was the longest reigning champ though. She says Cat didn't finish her story, she just interrupted it. She says she will recover the title.

Cat congratulates her on her long reign and asks why she thinks she deserves another shot. She says La Hiedra is the only one who has gold in Las Toxicas. She says Cat never gave Hiedra a title shot. Cat asks who the best is between Hiedra and Falmmer. Those two stare down each other and Lady Maravilla tries to stop it. Maravilla says Cat is wrong if she thinks she will put them against each other. She says Las Toxicas are 1-2-3.

Cat says Flammer's the best friend who never gave her friend a title shot. Cat says they can speak to each other and Rey Mysterio to see what will happen. Rey says he doesn't want to be in this spot.

Rey Mysterio and Lady Flammer talk in the back after a break. Flam says Hiedra is one of her best friends. She says she's done everything with the title and says the title shot should be for her. Rey says he will make a decision before the show ends.

El Fiscal vs Taurus

They lock up and trade wristlocks. Fis waistlock takedowns him. Fis takes him down again, they get up and shove each other. They then slap each other. They grab each other by the mask. Taur knees him low and Fis shoulders him over.

Fis boots Taur out of the corner. Fis top rope crossbodies him and dropkicks him out. Fis topes Taur outside. Fis twisting plancha's him off the apron but Taur forearms him in mid-air. Taur hits mounted shots on him. Taur gets a 2 count on him inside.

Fis hits shots to the gut. Fis is flapjacked onto the top buckle. Taur meteora's him from behind in the corner. Taur running lariats him for 2. Taur side headlocks him.

Fis chops Taur and hits forearms. Fis drops him with a forearm. Fis walks up the buckles and top rope twisting crossbodies Taur for 2. Fis does a spinning reverse figure four on him. Taur ropebreaks.

Taur spin kicks Fis in the gut. Taur flips over Fis' back and holds his knee. Abismo Negro Jr comes out, kicks Fis and gorilla press gutbusters him. Taur sentons Fis and pins him.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. It had a little bit of a slower pace than it should have and things slowed down outside of the big spots. The Fiscal/Abismo feud continues on with no end in sight.

Fiscal says he's tired of Abismo and his Vipers getting involved. He says Abismo is the lowest of the lowe and his name doesn't belong to him. He challenges Abismo to a 1v1 match at Heroes Inmmortales. He then says he is his father.

La Hiedra talks to Rey Mysterio in the back. She says Flamme rhad her title shot at Triplemania and lost. She says if Cat wants to face the best, here she is. Rey says he agrees with her and will make a decision tonight to find out what's next for the Reina de Reinas Title.

Rey Mysterio does a press conference. He says Heroes Inmortales begins next week and will air over 3 weeks. He runs down the card for that. Rey says La Catalina will have La Hiedra and Lady Flammer for the Reina de Reinas Title at Heroes Inmortales. Rey says he can't wait to see what happens in the tag match tonight.

AAA World Tag Team Title Match - The Wagner Brothers (El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno (c) vs. El Mesias & Mecha Wolf

Doc and Mesias go at it. Mesias elbows his way out of a waistlock. Doc flying forearms Mesias twice. Doc drops down on Mesias' leg and trips him. Mesias takes a double back elbow and Gal flips Doc onto him.

Gal pounds on and lariats Mesias in the corner. Doc chops and punches Mesias. Doc lariats Mesias down. Wolf comes in. Doc is sent to the apron, pulled down onto it and sent into the post by Mesias. Wolf shoulder topes Doc over the commentary table.

Wolf boots Doc. Mesisas double axe handles and stomps Doc. Mesias hits elbow drops on Doc for 2. Mesias backbreakers Doc. Wolf suplexes Doc for 2. Wolf throws Doc out. Mesias rams Doc's back into the post. Doc sends Wolf out. Doc and Mesias knock each other down at the same time. Doc takes a flatliner + 2nd rope dropkick combo.

Doc boots Mesias out of the corner. Doc enzugiri's Mesias. Gal tags in and knocks over his opponents. Gal step up knees Wolf in the corner and corner lariats Mesias. Gal slams Wolf. Gal splashes Mesias for 2. Gal headbutts Mesias out.

Wolf rolls up Gal for 2. Wolf is pushed into a forearm and a senton by Gal. Gal and Mesias trade forearms. Mesias lariats him twice then flying knees him from behind. Gal sends Mesias into the steps.

Doc tries to slam Wolf but his back gives out. Wolf superkicks Doc. Wolf is sent into the buckles and Doc michinoku drivers Wolf. Doc cannonballs Mesias off the apron. Gal top rope splashes Wolf and pins him.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but not much else. The crowd wasn't into it and it was a bit of a random match. This was also a little bit of a slower paced bout. Doc took a nice bump over the commentary table on a tope and Galeno looked fine as usual.

The Wagner's pose in the ring. The lights go out. Perros del Mal run in. Wolf and Mesias pull out The Wagner's and hit shots on them. Those 4 trade while Perros del Mal watch. La Parka, Mr. Iguana and Nino Hamburguesa come out and fight Los Perros in the ring. Those 6 brawl inside then Parka and Berto fight outside as well.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches here. Both were acceptable but not much else. Neither match had a great build to it either. Outside of that, there was a lot of focus on Catalina's next title defense. The big focus was on Heroes Inmortales, which starts next week. It was a simple show for the most part. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 total as it was acceptable, but not that far off from being average.
