Ring of Honor on HonorClub 10/22/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/ring-of-honor-on-honorclub-10152026.html

Shane Taylor Promotions does a promo. Shane says he specializes in finding overlooked talents. He puts over his crew and says now it's the Tehuti Miles chapter of STP. Miles says you can hall hiom "Huti Whooo". He says he didn't come here to be seen but to become.

Bishop Kaun vs Oro

Schiavone and Paul Wight are on commentary for this.

No handshake to start. They lock up and BK wristlocks him. Oro upkicks him. BK wristlocks him again. Oro hits armdrags. Oro boots him out of the corner and pulls his neck down over the top rope. Oro goes to springboard, gets dropped gut first on the ropes and takes a running vertical suplex.

BK chops Oro down. Oro spin kicks him in the face. BK basement dropkicks him. Oro is sent into the rails and steps. Oro runs around the ring and shotgun dropkicks him into the steps. Oro gets a 2 count on him. Oro back elbows BK and flipping koppo kicks him. They trade forearms and chops.

Oro hits more chops and germans him. Oro neckbreakers him for 2. BK wastelands him for 2. Oro rolls him up for 2 and spinning heel kicks him in the corner for 2. BK throws him then knees him in the gut. BK fireman's carry gutbusters him. BK pedigrees him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was average for the most part. Kaun's offense looked fine and Oro didn't get a ton in.

BK beats up Oro after and Bandido makes the save for some reason.

The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) vs Cole Radrick & Matt Diesel

Dez and Cole go at it. Dez side headlocks him. Dez hits him in the gut and single leg dropkicks him. Paul Wight makes fun of Cole's gear. Cole takes a bronco buster from Zach for 2.

Dez comes in and forearms Cole. Dez cutters him. Dez back body drops Matt over the top rope. Dez running euros Cole in the corner. Dez snapmares him and dropkicks him in the back of the head. Matt is spinebustered and takes a step up enzugiri + german combo. Zach jumping knees Cole.

Zach is pushed into a standing ssp on Cole and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a quick one. Cole hit a nice lariat from behind here on Zach. The Rascalz flew around a little but didn't do anything too crazy in this one before winning. It was an acceptable squash.

Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman now take over on commentary as we head to the Jacksonville studios.

Mark Sterling does the intro for The Premier Athletes to start. He puts over his crew, except for Beef. Mark says his opponents haven't been relevant since 2001 and they've been working like a well-oiled machine despite teaming with a buffoon.

BEEF & The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) vs. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno & Preston Vance)

Nese and Alex shake hands. Nese wristlocks him and is snapmared. Nese spin kicks Alex in the gut. Alex back elbows him down, elbow drops him and knee drops him. Uno comes in and rakes Nese's back.

Uno is double teamed in the corner. Ari side headlocks Uno. Uno shoulders Ari over. Uno neckbreakers Ari for 2.  Beef and PV go at it. Beef side headlocks him. They collide with shoulders. PV shoulders him over. PV forearms him down. The Athletes take stereo triple suplexes. PV flips Alex out onto the heels from the powerbomb position. Uno running facekicks Beef outside. Beef butt drops Uno. Beef headbutts Uno and throws him chest first into the buckles. Uno hits forearms on Beef. Uno facekicks Beef. Nese boots Uno in the corner. Uno takes running corner attacks and a bodyblock from Beef for 2.

Nese superkicks Alex out. Uno is held for shots to the gut. Uno double ddt's Nese and Ari. PV comes in and lariats the heels down then hits corner attacks on them. PV backdrops Ari then spinebusters Beef. Mark Sterling trips PV. PV slingshot spears Beef for 2. Nese low dropkicks PV and Uno ddt's Nese. Ari spears Uno. PV cutters Nese. Mark hits PV with his arm brace in the back. Nese is thrown out and PV grabs Mark. PV full nelson's Mark. Beef rolls up PV for 2. PV spinning lariats Beef. PV full nelson's Beef and submits him.

Thoughts: It was average. They just didn't get a great flow going here and the crowd wasn't super into it. Mark was a bit more active than usual.

Bandido does a promo. He says he's been facing giants and has people who don't believe he can be one of the best ROH champs ever. Bishop Kaun comes in and says every choice he makes has consequences. He says he's next in line for the ROH Title and says, "Kaun has spoken".

Zayda Steel vs. Xanti Li

Li is back which is no surprise. Li refuses a handshake and dances instead.

They lock up. Li pulls her hair. Zay backs her up on the ropes and takes a spin kick to the gut. Li side headlock takeovers her. Zay headscissors her and they stand off. They do a double wristlock and Zay wristlocks her. Li headflips out and reverses it.

Li trips her and flying kicks her for 2. Zay takes her over by the arm and armlocks her. Zay armdrags her twice then dropkicks her. Li kneelifts her then ddt's her over the 2nd rope onto the apron. Zay is sent into the rails.

Zay kneelifts Li. Li pulls her down off the 2nd rope. Li then bangs Zay's head off the mat. Li foot chokes Zay. Li sits on Zay's back on the bottom rope. Zay throws Li out. Li's head is banged off the apron. Zay throws Li down backwards by the hair. Zay codebreakers Li over the 2nd rope for 2. Li bites her neck. Li superkicks her down for 2.

Li hits slaps on Zay. They trade forearms. Zay hits a twisting killswitch and pins her.

Thoughts: Zay won as expected. Both girls are very basic workers who aren't that good and this was never going to be great. I got a little more time than needed and wasn't that good.

Il Cartello Grillo talk in front of a camera. Grillo tells jokes. Grillo says they've been making noise in ROH and says they heard ROH is where the best of the best wrestle. Seal says there's no better place for them. Impala says it's always Il Cartello Grillo.

The Swirl are headed to NJPW's Best of the Super Junior Tournament.

The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) vs. Il Cartello Grillo (Hayden Seal & KayJay Impala)

The Italians get booted before it starts. Imapala is stood on in the corner. Seal is sent into the rails. Impala hits punches on Lee. Impala is held for a dropkick. Lee superkicks Seal. Blake corner spears Seal. Blake asai moonsaults outside. Lee standing moonsaults Seal for 2.

Imapla is sent into the rails outside. Seal's head is banged off the buckles. Blake chops Seal in the corner. Seal is thrown out and then into the rails. Blake boots Seal outside and stands on his chest. Lee chokes Seal against the bottom rope.

Seal sunset flips Lee for 2. Impala tags in. He hits lariats on the heels and hits back splashes in the corner on them. Impala release germans Blake. Impala blue thunders Lee for 2. Impala takes a 619 to the head then a low corner dropkick. Impala takes a top rope double stomp + death valley driver and is pinned.

Thoughts: Impala did a decent hot tag here and The Swirl did their fast paced double team offense as usual. It ended up being acceptable.

We get a quick video on Isla vs Mina.

Isla Dawn vs. Mina Shirakawa

Queen Aminata comes out with Mina.

ID knocks away Mina's handshake. They lock up and ID slaps her. They trade leg kicks. Mina legsweeps her and kicks her in the chest. Mina spin kicks her in the gut and drops her with a chest kick. Isla high kicks Mina and sends her face first into the buckles. Isla foot chokes her.

ID gets a 2 count on her and kicks her in the chest several times. Mina boots her and kicks her in the back. ID lariats Mina down for 2. ID sits on Mina's back with a cobra clutch.

Mina hits ID in the gut and rolls her up for 1. Mina flying headscissors ID. Mina running back splashes her then bridging ddt's her for 2. Mina leg kicks her and dragon screws her. Isla buzzsaw kicks her and backdrops her. Mina spinning forearms her. They high kick each other at the same time and both go down.

ID hits forearms. Mina trips her and slingshot tornillo's her for 2. Mina top rope plancha's ID outside. ID throws her down off the buckles and shining wizards her from behind for 2. ID backdrops Mina. Mina top rope dropkicks ID. Mina spinning forearms her and urakens her. Mina goes for a figure four and Isla cradles her for 2. ID high kicks her and knees her in the face. Mina rolls ID into a figure four. ID taps.

Thoughts: It wasn't that bad. It would have been nice for Isla to get a win since no one watches show, it means nothing and Isla has been doing okay, but nope, business as usual. Mina worked the leg a bit and won with the figure four while ID did various kicks.

ROH Pure Title Match - Lee Moriarty (c) vs. Mance Warner

Lee side headlock takeovers him. MW euros him. Lee blocks a hiptoss and armbars him. MW ropebreaks. Lee takes him down by the wrist and wristlocks him. MW knees him in the gut and forearms him down. MW takes him down and crossfaces him. Lee uses a ropebreak.

MW clubs him. MW goes for a pin but Lee's leg hits the ropes when he is taken down. The ref counts it as a rope break. MW chops Lee in the corner. MW tries mounted corner punches and is pulled down into the rope connector/top buckle. MW's head is busted open.

Lee spinning lariats MW, kneelifts him and bulldogs him for 2. Lee twists MW's neck with his feet. Lee straightjacket chokes him. Lee gets on his back and MW ropebreaks.

Lee misses a corner charge. MW boots him out of the corner and running lariats him twice. MW big boots him for 2. MW hits chops. MW top rope superplexes Lee for 2. MW brings a chair in then sits down on it and chinlocks Lee. The ref takes the chair.

MW back rams Lee in the corner. Lee hits a big boot and samoan drops him for 2. Lee does an octopus and MW uses his final rope break. Lee hits chops. MW blocks a chop with his head. MW hits chops. MW lariats him from behind and crossfaces him. Lee then uses his last rope break.

MW pop-up headbutts Lee out. MW dropkicks Lee through the ropes. MW jumps off a chair outside and tornado ddt's him on the floor. MW running knees him inside for 2. Lee hammerlocks MW in the ropes while pulling on his chin. Lee then submits him.

Thoughts: It was not your usual Pure Rules match here as MW got busted open and used a chair. It was different. They were close to getting this right in the middle of it but then it kept going and slowed down some which hurt it. Mance lost as expected because Lee just has to keep winning..to accomplish something. I thought it was average but it had potential to be better.

Overall thoughts: They kept this one under 90 minutes which I appreciated. Nothing was that good here though. The Jacksonville crowd was dead which hurt things and some of the matches got more time than they really needed. I would say The Swirl's tag or Mina/Isla was the best match of the night here. The main had potential but kept going after it had peaked and lost me. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 overall. It was the usual ROH show with random matches, few storylines, little follow up from the week before and with tons of champs not in action. It was average.
