We are in the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary. 

We see Dion Lennox and Cruz Montana arrive.

Tony D'Angelo comes out to talk. He calls Grayson Waller out. Waller says he always knew it would be them. He says they debuted and got on TV at the same time, then teamed up at Wargames. He asks if Tony has been running from him as someone else always got in the way. Tony says Waller doesn't know if he'd still have the title if they met.

Waller says he wanted to beat him 1v1. He says he's a demon he wanted to conquer. Tony says he never liked him. Tony says he's a indy guy who cares about being viral instead of titles only. Waller says Tony didn't know anything about wrestling when he started here and says he was chosen. Tony says he's a hyprocrite and says he still hides behind one-liners. He says he's just a troll.

Waller says it's called having a personality and Tony let his in his fedora hat. Waller says he won this match months ago. He says he just has to take him out to the deepest waters so he could drown himself. Tony says he helped their Wargames team to victory in his 3rd match.  

Tony says they are foundation guys and it all comes down to them 1v1. Waller says Tony beat Oba Femi twice but can't touch him. He says his title means more than when Melo or when Tony had it. Tony said he carried the title. Tony says he's an All-American who will rip his arm off and beat him with it. He says he will drag him through hell at Halloween Havoc and see if he can swim in deep waters when there's a shark out there. 

Izzi Dame says Zaria packed up all her decorations in the back. Layla Diggs says it's clearly all about the North American Title for Dame. Then she says it's all about the title for her. Dame says she wants to pick Zaria apart piece by piece and show who Zaria is. She says if she has to get rid of distractions like Diggs, then she will.

Birthright interrupt the commentators from the parking lot. King says Galeno del Mal said this would be a generational battle. Dempsey says it's their birthright to win the Dusty Classic.

We get a video on Chantel Monroe. She says the locker room better watch out. She says when she's in the ring, it's not a match but an experience. 

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2026 Quarter Final Match - The Wagner Brothers (El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno) vs. BirthRight (Charlie Dempsey & Lexis King)

They talk about Stacks getting injured over the weekend.

Doc takes down CD. CD rolls him into a headscissors. They go on the mat then CD takes armdrags. Gal and King go at it. King boots and chops him. Gal leapfrogs and shoulders him over. 

King takes a double back elbow and Doc is flipped onto him. Gal sentons King for 2. The heels go out, the faces try to dive on them and Arianna Grace gets in the way. Doc then tope con hilos them all.

We go to break and return. CD takes down Doc and pulls back on his arms. Doc ropebreaks. 

CD chinlocks him. They trade forearms. Doc backdrops him. Gal ges in and shoulders his opponents over. Gal hits corner lariats on CD. Gal slams King. Gal splashes King for 2. Doc is popped up and he dropkicks King for 2. CD germans Gal and is lariated over by Doc. All 4 men go down.

CD forearms Doc. King superkicks Doc and Doc takes dragon suplex for 2. Gal suplexes CD. Doc comes off the top and King gets his knees up. Zilla Fatu comes out and nails Uriah Connors. Arianna Grace slaps Zilla. Doc exploders King then michinoku drivers him. Gal top rope splashes King and pins him.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but not quite great. I think it needed more time and I think the heels needed to work a body part of a Wagner more.

Zilla beats up Birthright after. Zilla pop-up samoan drops Dempsey. 

Darkstate watch a Cruz Montana video in the back. They laugh about it and Cutler says Cruz is p!ssed. Dion says you can't think small with Cruz and says there will be casualties this time. Dion says he will take Cruz back to the dark place tonight.

Kam Hendrix does a video at a football field. He says everyone talks about who is next but not the best athlete in NXT - him. We then see him catching footballs. He says he's the future. 

Tavion Heights comes out to talk. He says Myles Borne stabbed him in the back at Heatwave, just so he could double down and do it again. He says it was a mistake and he doesn't make the same mistake twice. He says Myles isn't who he thinks he is and he is who he says he is. Myles Borne then attacks him. They fight out to the parking lot and get separated.

The Vanity Project talk to Chantel Monroe in the back. Ricky Smokes tries to flirt with Monroe and Myka stops it. The Project then head to Mr. Stone's office. Smokes says he hates Stone. Stone asks about them attacking Mini Vikingo last week. Brad says they just talked to him and EK Prosper. Stone says Mini isn't cleared so he can't wrestle in the 6-man he wanted to do. Stone says Drake will face EK Prosper for the North American Title next week. 

Izzi Dame vs Layla Diggs

This is LD's return, but Nikkita and Nattie aren't with her. They lock up and Izzi side headlocks her. Izzi shoulders her over. Izzi side headlocks her and Diggs cartwheels out. 

Izzi wristlocks her and Diggs flips out using the ropes. Diggs is sent shoulder first into the buckles. Izzi slams Digs for 1. Diggs works the arm. Diggs shoulders her over and casadora armdrags her. Diggs rolls her up for 1. Izzi facekicks her down.

Izzi is pulled over the top. Diggs goes for a dive and is forearmed. Diggs moonsaults off the apron onto her. We go to PiP break and return. Izzi back elbows her. Diggs overhead kicks her. Diggs leg lariats her, hits a kneelift and a step up enzugiri. Diggs flying pumping knees her. Diggs sitout gordbusters her. Diggs top rope splashes her for 2.

Izzi running crucifix bombs her for 2. They trade forearms. Diggs neckbreakers her over the back and reverse slams her for 2. Diggs hurricanrana's her for 2. Izzi running facekicks her. Izzi comes off the 2nd rope and is leg lariated. Diggs misses a top rope moonsault and Dame flying knees her. Dame pins her.

Thoughts: Diggs got to do a bit more athletic stuff than usual and she did a lot of flipping around. I thought it was average. Diggs probably should have just got a win over someone else since she is returning.

Zaria comes out. She says this has gone on long enough with Izzi. She says she doesn't know what she's searching for, but this isn't how she will get one. She....then says she will give her a title match at Halloween Havoc anyway. Izzi then says she doesn't want her to put the title on the line.

Thoughts: I have no idea what this was. Neither girl made any sense here.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal - The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) vs Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger)

The Creed's have new music that is very very generic and basic.

JC and Tank lock up and let go. JC waistlock takedowns Tank and slaps his head around. JC lariats him down from behind. Tank takes a backcracker into a fallaway slam. Tank 2nd rope twisting shoulders BC. 

Hank knees and punches BC in the gut. Hank bangs BC's head off the buckles. BC high angle pedigrees him and hits hammerfist shots on him. We go to break and return. 
Hank flying lariats BC and Tank slingshot splashes BC. Tank back body drops BC. Tank is swpet on the buckles. JC knees him in the ribs. BC gutbusters him and hits corner spears. 

JC gutbusters Tank. JC grounded cobra twists him. JC karelin's lifts Tank. JC hits corner spears on Tank. Tank back elbows him down. BC dropkicks Tank through the ropes hard. Hank comes in and knocks down BC a few times. Hank hip attacks JC on the ropes and running lariats him. Hank lariats BC over the top then corner splashes JC. 

Hank flying back elbows JC then pounces BC outside. Hank black hole slams JC. BC takes a sandwich bodyblock outside. JC kicks Tank in the ring. JC takes a slam + double slap to the back and is pinned by Tank.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but the crowd wasn't that into it. The Creed's were a little more serious here  than usual and there were some hard shots thrown here. It wasn't as good as it should have been though.

Birthright complain to Robert Stone in the back. Dempsey says he wants a match with Zilla but Stone doesn't know if he's cleared.

Wren and Kendal talk. Wren says she has a contract to sign. Chantel Monroe interrupts and asks if they saw her video.  

Wren Sinclair says she gets her shot at Kelani and the Women's title in 2 weeks. She says she can't just let Kelani do what she wants. She says she's the standout, but she will stand down at Halloween Havoc. She tells her to get out here. She says she won't just stand up to her...

Kelani Jordan then comes out and interrupts. She says she got her a gift for being #1 contender. We see her grabbing Kendal Grey by the hair and banging her face off the floor. Kendal's face is busted open and KJ leaves.

Mr. Stone and Zilla Fatu talk. Stone says he doesn't know where he is medically and it can't happen. Fatu says he's good and says to talk to the doc. Fatu says to bring back "spin the wheel, make the deal" at Halloween Havoc. 

Legacy, Hall, EK, Romeo and Dar talk. Dux is out for 2 months according to Legacy. Legacy asks Saquon is he's good after losing. Saquon gets mad. Legacy says Shugars acts like he has it figured out but he's obsessed. He says Shugars has all the talents but keeps pushing too far. Shugars tells EK to come get his boy. Shugars tells Legacy to worry about himself and threatens him if he continues. 

An interviewer wants to talk to Cruz Montana. Darkstate of Cutler and Griffin walk in. They taunt Cruz in the locker room. He hits them and they fight. It gets broken up by Elijah Holyfield and Harlem Lewis. I think Harley Riggins and Jax Presley were also in the room here.

Naraku does a video. He says Shiloh Hill ignored his warnings. He says he won't be able to hide from what awaits him. He talks about his different types of mist. He says Shiloh's experiments won't prepare him fro the black mist. He says that will end things once and for all. He says Darkness will fall at Halloween Havoc.

Shiloh Hill and Lizzy Rain talk in the back. Hill says he needs a counter to the mist. Chantel Monroe comes in and asks if they saw the reflection of perfect. Rain says Monroe annoyed everyone in the last 2 hours. Monroe introduces herself. Rain says she knows who she is and Monroe can found who she is next week.

Cruz Montana vs Dion Lennox

They have CM enter through the crowd, through some area that looks like an NYC subway.

They trade shots and CM slams him. CM corner lariats him. CM hits punches in the corner and Dion fires back. Dion backdrops him for 2. Dion spinebusters him for 2. CM lariats him down then corner chops him. 

CM chops him down and sentons him for 2. Dion is sent into the bottom buckle. CM corner cannonballs him there. CM sitout powerbombs him for 2. CM is flapjacked onto the steps outside. Dion is pushed into the post.

We go to PiP break and return. CM superkicks him. CM lariats him and back elbows him. CM backrolls him into a cutter. Dion running lariats him then slingshot sitout bombs him for 2. 

Dion tells CM his mom was a drug dealer and thinks he's a failure. He says the worst part is his daughter will know Cruz is his b!tch. CM boots him away and hits punches on him. CM clubs on him on the commentary table. CM spears him through the LED board rails. Both guys get counted out.

Thoughts: It's a shame we didn't get a finish as this was going well. It was one of the better matches both guys had been in and I would have liked to see a clean ending to this.

CM pounds on Dion after the bell. Refs come to break it up. Dion says CM is still his b!tch. CM punches out a guard then attacks Dion and Darkstate from behind. CM slams Dion on the exposed floor. CM curbstomps him on the exposed floor. Cutler tries to shield Dion and CM drops steps on his back. CM punches more guards then gets put in a handcuffs. 

Thoughts: Dion getting Cruz arrested was the big gotcha moment here and they zoomed in on Cruz being surprised by it,

Overall thoughts: The Wagner's vs Birthright was acceptable. Dames/Diggs was average. The Creed's had an acceptable match with Hank and Tank and definitely worked a little different than usual in it. Cruz/Dion was going a lot better than it should have, but we didn't get a clean ending to it. There was a lot going on as usual here, but more isn't always better in NXT. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was an average show overall.
