WWE Main Event 10/14/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/wwe-main-event-1082026.html

Note - This is competing against AEW Dynamite and WWE Evolve.

This is the first episode of Main Event on Rumble.

Blake Howard and Vic Joseph are on commentary.

Rey Fenix vs Kit Wilson

Kit throws his shirt at him. Rey then does Kit's dance. Kit backs him up in the corner and shoves him. Kit then does his dance. Kit misses a charge. Kit clubs and chops him. Rey flying headscissors him. They go back in and Kit back elbows him down. Rey goes for a springboard and is pulled face first onto the top buckle. Kit hits mounted punches then chokes him on the bottom rope.

Rey hits shots to the gut and Kit euros him down. Kit kicks him while he's down then euros him down again. Kid kneels on him for a 1 count. Rey rolls him up for 2. Rey hits chops. Rey's handspring is caught with a neckbreaker for 2.

Rey swing kicks him. Rey rope walk kicks him. Rey then slingshot plancha's him outside. Rey handspring cutters him for 2. Kit hits a twist of fate for 2. Rey jawbreakers him and is lariated. Kit misses a top rope splash. Rey kips up and superkicks him. Rey elevated sitout pedigrees him and pins him.

Thoughts: Rey won as expected. It wasn't bad but Rey's selling was poor as usual. Kit got more offense in than he usually does. Rey is the current AAA Cruiserweight champ, so he wasn't losing here.

Ricky Saints vs Nathan Frazer

NF has Axiom with him.

They lock up and RS wristlocks him. NF armdrags him but RS holds on. NF headflips out and flips him by the arm. NF armdrags him twice and armlocks him. RS backs him up in the corner and hits punches on him there. NF boots him out of the corner. NF running dropkicks him.

NF is swept on the apron and RS pounds on him. NF is sent into the steps. RS stomps him. RS hits mounted shots. RS rope walks and clubs his arm for 2. RS chinlocks him and adds a bodyscissors onto it.

RS clubs him. RS is thrown out. NF spin kicks him in the head. NF then tope con hilos him outside. NF slingblades him inside. NF top rope splashes him for 2. NF goes up top and is tripped. RS hits a roshambo and pins him.

Thoughts: It was average. Saints wasn't that interesting on offense and he won as expected. NF mostly got offense in during his comeback before being put down. This should have been a little faster paced.

Austin Theory vs Dragon Lee

Maxxine Dupri is with AT.

AT backs up Lee on the ropes. Lee side headlocks him. They shoulderblock battle. AT trips him and poses with Max. Lee flying headscissors him then dropkicks him. Lee hits combinacion cabron in the corner. Lee flying corner dropkciks him for 1.

Max trips Lee as he runs the ropes. AT running lariats Lee. We go to break and return. Lee flips out of a back body drop. Lee punches him and rebound germans him. Lee superkicks him and AT goes out. Lee tope con hilos him outside.

Lee tornado ddt's him for 2. Lee flips out of a back body drop and AT flying back elbows him. AT hits ataxia for 2. Lee kicks the top buckle into AT's face. AT is put in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him. Dupri gets on the apron. Lee rolls up AT for 2. Dupri tries to get in. AT eye rakes Lee and spinning forearms him. AT pins him.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. Lee hit his usual offense. AT's forearm finish was bit weak though. They ended it at the right time.

We get a quick recap of last week's Smackdown.

Gunther does a promo from after Smackdown. He says he came here to compete and put titles around his waist. He says he got distracted by a goofball like Danhausen. He says he grinded too hard and long for someone disgracing this sport. He says the same goes for Finn Balor, whose time has passed. He says he had to beat it into both of them and now he will go take what's his - the WWE Title.

We get a some recaps from Raw (946 vs Bloodline, Breakker spearing Evans and Judgment Day beating up Chelsea Green).

Chelsea Green is interviewed after Raw. She says she doesn't blame Roxanne Perez for wanting to get a match with her. She says she ambushed Perez's crew and promised the crowd she would win. She says she did the opposite. She says she will train so hard that the next time she faces Liv at Crown Jewel, there will be no doubt she's the greatest women's champ of all time.

Sol Ruca vs Lyra Valkyria

They lock up. Sol armdrags her. Lyra backs her up in the corner and shoves her. Sol shoves her back and Lyra takes down. Lyra twists her ankle. Sol dropkicks her. Sol flips Lyra onto her gut and backslides her for 2.

Lyra's backsplash is caught in the corner and Sol drops her on her chest. Sol surfs on her back and superkicks her. Sol is pulled over the top. Sol PK's her from the apron. Sol goes for a springboard but is pushed down.

Lyra boots her in the leg then elbow drops the leg. Lyra rocking chairs her then stomps her knees into the mat. Lyra half crabs her and kneels on her neck. Lyra really pulls back on Sol's leg.

Sol takes her down and hits mounted shots. Sol leg lariats her for 2. Sol hits back elbows then germans her. Sol then kips up on one leg. Sol springboard splashes her for 2.

Sol is swept on the 2nd rope and Lyra stomps the back of her leg. Sol sunset flips her for 2. Lyra basement dropkicks her. Lyra clips her from behind. Lyra fireman's carries her and Bayley's music hits (but she doesn't come out). Sol backcrackers her with her feet then hits a sol snatcher. Sol pins her.

Thoughts: It was alright. Lyra worked the leg here and Sol tried to sell it while doing some flying. Bayley's music hitting at least furthers some of her program with Lyra.

Bayley then comes out and raises Sol's arm.

Overall thoughts: This was one hour long with commercials. We had 4 new matches, a Raw and SD recap, 2 new interviews and a Bayley appearance. Fenix/Kit wasn't bad. I didn't like Saints/Frazer. Lee/Theory was acceptable and the main was fine. I'd say Fenix/Kit was the best match on here. It was nice to see the Lyra/Bayley storyline get furthered some and it was nice to see some exclusive interviews, but you could really skip this and not miss anything of real importance here. What we got was fine and the Rumble stream had no issues. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 and it was acceptable, but you don't need to see this one.
