WWC Puerto Rican Title - Xavant (c) vs Romeo Quevedo

We join this in progress.

Romeo is thrown out. He pulls Xavant's throat over the top rope. Xavant 2nd rope dropkicks him out. Xavant hits shots on him outside. Romeo chops the post when Xavant moves. Xavant hits slaps on him. Xavant 2nd rope crossbodies him. Xavant goes for a corner splash and is crotched up top. Romeo then pushes him down to the steps. Romeo hits him outside.

Xavant's back is rammed into the apron edge. Romeo gets a 2 count on him inside. Romeo boots his head around. Xavant hits punches on him. Xavant boots him out of the corner then gets swept off the 2nd rope for 2. Romeo fish hooks him.

We go to break.

The mayor of Aguadilla invites us to the show.

We return from break.

Romeo forearms Xavant then chokes him on the ropes. Romeo flips him with a lariat for 2. Romeo goes up top and is crotched. Xavant hits punches on him then slaps him. Xavant 2nd rope superplexes him. Xavant hits punches and flying lariats him. Xavgant lariats him.

Xavant takes a monkey flip and he slips when he is supposed to kick out of it. Xavant northern lights suplexes him for 2. Romeo superkicks him and sitout powerbombs him for 2. Romeo goes up top and misses a move. Xavant pop-up powerbombs him for 2.

Xavant puts him on his shoulders and Romeo grabs Wendy the ref. Romeo punches Xavant. Xavant AA's him and pins him.

Thoughts: Romeo could have used a win since he just got here. Romeo did what he was supposed to do and Xavant did as well. It was acceptable but nothing too great.

Oscar Benabe vs Mike Nice

Oscar Benabe is bloodied as he comes out. Chicano beats him with a broom handle or stick.

Mike pounds on OB in the ring and lariats him down. Mike forearms him in the spine a few times. Mike headbutts him in the chest then exploders him. Mike forearms him down and throws him out.

Mike punches OB outside and sends him into the post. Mike hits corner spears on him inside. Mike hits punches on him. OB fires back with punches and chops. Mike pop-up inverted AA's him. Mike hits mounted punches on him.

OB hits punches and chops. Mike lariats him down. Mike bearhugs him. OB fights out and Mike spears him. Mike hits punches. OB punches back and lariats him down. OB back body drops him.

OB goes up and over and headscissors him down. OB armdrags him. We go to break and return.OB topes Mike outside. OB is up top and Mike walks up the buckles then belly to belly suplexes him down. Mike pops him up and is cuttered for 2. Mike hits doi fives on him and pins him.

Thoughts: The ending was a little lackluster. Mike beat up OB for most of this then OB made his come back before getting put down. OB did fine as a face here as he bled, showed some fire and did some decent face offense. It was alright overall.

Abel talks about the 10/24 show.

We see clips of Eddie Colon getting turned on by Orlando Toledo and Intelecto Cinco Estrellas. We then see clips of the barbed wire match between Lightning/Zcion and the fight after.

Eddie Colon does a promo. He says he was ordered by the dictator Orlando Colon to fight Romeo Quevedo. He says he has to join Sangre Nueva if he loses. He says it won't happen. He says he's up against the wall and that's when he's most unpredictable. He says he's the horse who can't be tamed.

Abel talks about Mike Nice/Oscar Benabe.

Mike Nice and Chicano do a promo. They say they will fight Zcion and Benabe, if there' anything left of Benabe. Chicano says he and Benabe have a history and it's just picking up the story again. Mike says Benabe showed him he has balls but it's not enough. He says he doesn't regret what he did and says he massacred him. Mike says he feels like a new person and says he will hit Benabe in the face in Aguadilla. He says he has Chicano too who will finish Zcion. He asks why he would be afraid of Benabe and says he will finish him off.

We see clips of Orlando Colon vs Alberto El Patron.

Orlando Colon does a promo. He says he has beaten Eddie Colon, Alberto and Ray Gonzalez. He says he has unfinished business and says the pandemic stopped his last reign. He says he will tech Zcion what a revolution is. He says progress, change and Sangre Nueva are inevitable.

Zcion RT1 does a promo. He says it's easy for Orlando to sit in an armchair and talk trash at the camera and voice his frustrations. He says he talks about the revolution when he doesn't know what it means.

He says Orlando stabbed his own family in the back and stabbed Carlos Colon and Victor Jovica in the back. He says he owes his career to his family and last name. Zcion says he has never betrayed The Colon's and has always been a loyal soldier because they believed in him. He says he owes them his allegiance.

Zcion says he's been giving blood and sacrificing for a decade in WWC. He says Orlando's biggest dream is to be WWC Universal champ, but he dialed the wrong number and created his own nightmare. He says he will meet the revolutionary who revolutionized the company over the last decade. He tells Orlando to fight for his life. he says he will have to kill him and says they will go to war.

Abel recaps some of the matches for the next show.

Axel and Abel then hype up the upcoming live events.

Lightning is in the bathroom cleaning up. Kamila comes up to him and says he can count on her. Lightning nods.

Overall thoughts: What we saw of Romeo/Xavant was acceptable (I don't think we missed that much of it) and Mike Nice/Oscar was alright. It was all promos and hype otherwise as usual. WWC has two shows within a week of each other and I feel like they have done a pretty good job in managing the build up for them, but the Aguadilla show is obviously not going to be where the big things happen. This show was fine overall and I'd give it a 5 out of 10 total.
