Kwon hits an open hand shot. AE hits chops and Kwon eye rakes him. Kwon release suplexes him for 2. Kwon uppercuts him and chest kicks him. Kwon spin kicks him in the gut and stomps his ankles. Kwon kicks him in the face and stomps him for 2.

AE springboard spiral taps him for 2. AE goes up top and is shotei'd down. Josef Samael grabs AE's leg. AE goes to springboard and Kwon red mists him. Kwon running knees him and pins him.

Thoughts: I was fine with this. AE flew and didn't do the comedy. Kwon stuck to being a heel and won as expected. AE's springboard spiral tap was impressive.

Rich Bocchini interviews Austin Aries. Rich says what AA did to Mistico was disgusting. The crowd boos AA and he thanks them for the warm welcome. He says he had a plan and executed it. He says he had to make sure Mistico wouldn't become a 2x Opera Cup champ and he did that. He says the path is now clear for him to win the Opera Cup.

We get a video on GBOT/Glasgow Boys On Top.

Opera Cup 2026 First Round - Wolfgang vs Big Damo

They lock up and let go. They shoulderblock battle. They both go out then shoulderblock each other outside. Damo chops him then Wolf chops him in the ring. Wolf goes up and over and Damo crossbodies him. Damo walks on Wolf's gut. Damo slams and legdrops him for 2.

Wolf chops him and corner crossbodies him. Wolf top rope double axe handles him. Damo pop-up drops him and elbow drops him for 2. Damo goes up top and gets hit. Wolf top rope superplexes him.

They lariat battle. Damo pump kicks him. Wolf catches his crossbody and slams him. Wolf running sentons him. Wolf tries a top rope swanton but Damo gets his knees up. Damo does a nasty high angle reverse ddt and pins him.

Thoughts: Wolf should not have taken that elevated reverse ddt. That was ugly. I liked what we got otherwise here though. They worked a standard hoss match and used their size on each other. Damo was moving well and they did a decent job with the limited time they had.

We get another video teasing Unbound Co. from NJPW.

Rich Bocchini interviews LaBron Kozone. Bron is on the top of the building looking out. He says Teddy Long said some things he shouldn't say on air but he told him to keep winning. Bron says he's not done with GBOT and they got a lot more coming. He says his #1 focus is winning the Opera Cup.

Jumbo vs. Rich Moya

Jumbo running corner splashes him. Jumbo then pins him with a foot on the chest.

Thoughts: Jumbo won in seconds here and maybe didn't even break a sweat.

Tessa Blanchard is coming to MLW.

Rich Bocchini interviews Matt Riddle. He says Killer Kross owes him a shot at the MLW Title. Austin Aries interrupts. AA says he's owed a shot as he's the Openweight champ. Matt says everyone knows he would smoke him. AA says Matt doesn't know who he is and says he's Austin Aries, not Mary Jane. Matt says he will knock him out any day and anytime. AA says "just not today?".

The faces attack the heels and pound on them. KK knees DD in the corner and punches him. Matt hits kicks on JB. Matt hits forearms on JB and JB double throat thrusts him. KK hits DD with a trash can lid.

We go to break and return. KK chairs DD in the back and gut outside. JC chairs Matt and KK. JB chokes KK with a kendo stick. Matt chairs JB. Matt hits body kicks on JB. JB electric chair death valley drivers Matt for 2.

JB chokeslams Matt. DD top rope moonsaults Matt for 2. DD throws KK out. DD tells JB to set a table up. KK hits the heels with a kendo stick. JB headbutts KK. The four trade forearms. The heels low blow KK and Matt en stereo. The heels get weapons smacked into their faces. KK and Matt hit running corner forearms then stereo suplexes. JB and DD take stereo cutters. JB no sells the cutter.

JB throws Matt out. JB then powerbombs KK through a table. JB then pins KK.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. The match was fine. The first half was mostly weapons shots and them taking it easy a bit. It picked up a bit more in the second half when it turned into more of a wrestling match. Kross and Matt were a fun team here and the heels took their whoopings here.

Overall thoughts: I was fine with all 4 matches here. There was a lot of okay wrestling here but nothing that I would say was must see. We had limited storylines as usual with this show, but the in-ring work delivered. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall.
