WWC Halloween Wrestling Xtravaganza is on 10/24. It has:

#1 Contender to the Universal Title - Special Ref is Ray Gonzalez: Alberto El Patron vs Orlando Colon

We join this from the start.

Al chases OC around the ring. They shove each other and AL goes down. OC's head is banged off the sound table then OC is sent into the post. Al corner lariats OC and kicks him in the back. Al chokes him over the 2nd rope. 

OC boots him in the corner and Ray pulls OC away. OC pulls Ray and Ray tells him that he's the ref and says he will give Al the win if he does it again. Al hits mounted corner punches on OC. OC hits corner spears on Al and rakes his ace. 

Al lariats him down for 2. Al complains about the count then he and Ray push each other. Ray threatens to DQ him, Al begs off and OC basement dropkicks Al. OC kneels on Al's throat. OC then spits on Ray. Ray drops OC with a slap. Ray is in the way when Al runs the ropes. Al goes for a tope and OC throws water in Al's face.

They trade shots outside. Ray cannonballs both outside from the apron.

We go to break.

Wilfredo Rivera does a promo. He says our biggest defeats teach us the most important lessons. He says he learned a lot from the last event. He says everything he learned in his match with Bryan made him better. He says he's still a winner in his mind. He says at Aguadilla Mania, he will face Lou Forza, who he considers a winner. He says Lou is one of the promising wrestlers in PR. He asks him to leave Amaddeo Sole in the locker room though. 

The mayor of Aguadilla invites us to the 10/18 show.

We return from break. 

OC has a chair and puts it between the buckles. Ray Gonzalez was taken to the back and a new ref has replaced him. Al dropkicks OC in the corner. Al pushes OC away from a figure four attempt and OC goes into the ref, knocking him out of the ring. Al armbars OC and OC taps, but there is no ref.

Orlando Toledo then comes down to ringside and he takes over as the ref. Al strikes up a deal with Toledo and they shake hands. OC figure fours Al. Al takes off OC's knee pade and uses it to touch the rope for a ropebreak.

OC is sent head first into a chair between the buckles. Al then gets a 2 count on him. OC dropkicks a chair in AL's face. OC is sent shoulder first into the post. Toledo gives AL a water bottle and he throws water at OC. Al superplexes OC down hard. Both guys try to pin each other. Al seeming has the pin, but Toledo awards the match to OC. Orlando Colon wins.

Thoughts: The finish was done on purpose, but I think they could have executed it better. I watched it like 4-5 times and it just wasn't clear. We missed a big part of this one as special ref Ray Gonzalez got helped to the back during the break, leading to other refs being called down. There was too much chaos and unusual happenings here for this to be great and like a lot of WWC matches, the ending wasn't satisfying.

Eddie Colon and Intelecto Cinco Estrellas come down. They seem confused and Eddie gets on the mic. Eddie asks Toledo whose team he is playing for. He says Toledo is kissing Orlando Colon's butt. Eddie says he won't change who he is and asks him to do the same. He asks Toledo to tell him if he's messing with him. Intelecto then hits a side effect on Eddie. Mike Nice and Chicano come down. Intelecto, Mike and Chicano then stomp Eddie.

Thoughts: They said Eddie's old partners in Intelecto and Toledo from his heel run earlier in the year turned on him here. That was so long ago at this point though that it's kind of a dead issue, but at least they tried to tie up a loose end.

Amaddeo Sole does a promo. He says the competition is coming in the tag division and he's been seeking it. He says him and Forza are the only two names he thinks of when talking about the tag division. He says his match against John Hawking at Aguadilla Mania is a good test for John as John has had setbacks in various losses lately. He says they will face off in Aguadilla for the first time. He says they are the future of this company. He says it's a test to see who is the best among the new blood.

John Hawking does a promo. He says there's highs and lows in lucha. He says he wanted to do things his way in WWC and had a great rise as he became double champ. He says then he had a stop. He says sometimes you have to fall to the bottom to refresh and continue improving. He says he knows who Sole is as and he has studied him. He says Sole is talented but his mouth is his downfall. He says he will instill respect in him and show him why he's the #1 wrestler in PR.

WWC Universal Title - Barbed Wire Match - Zcion RT1 (c) vs Lightning

We join this in progress.

Both guys are bleeding and Light drops him with a shot. Light dropkicks him and foot chokes him. Light puts RT1's head in the barbed wire. Light stops him and puts his head in the barbed wire. They trade shots. 

RT1 misses a corner charge and gets speared for 1. RT running lariats him down. 

We go to break.

"La Amenaza" Bryan does a promo. He says it's 1v1 vs Xavant and that's how he likes it. He says few people annoy him in this business but he's one of them. He says he sees his fat face and disgusting cheeks and wants to knock out some of his teeth. He asks what kind of hero he is and says he's the hero nobody asked for. He says nobody likes him or appreciates him and it's time for him to stop with the stupidity of thinking he's Captain America. He says they will end this once and for all and he'll see him on 10/18. He tells him to get it through his head. He says he's ready. This was funny.

Xavant does a promo. He says WWC is headed to Aguadilla. He says the people are hyped and so is he. He says Bryan keeps insulting him and disrespects him. He says Bryan won the TV Title and thinks he's unstoppable but he's facing the captain and you have to respect him. He says he will fight with all his heart and persevere until he triumphs as that's what heroes do.

We return from break.

RT1 hits punches on Light then he back bodydrops him. RT1 drops him twice then facebusters him for 2. Light bends over and is booted in the head. RT1 neckbreakers him for 2. 

RT1 goes up and over and cutters him for 2. RT1 hits punches. Light chokeslams him. The ref goes for the count but just stops when Sole, Froza and Toledo touch the ropes outside. 2 masked people (La Revolucion?) who are friends with Zcion come out. They beat up Sole and Forza and send them to the back.

RT1's dad hands him brass knucks. RT1 punches Light with brass knucks and cutters him. RT1 pins Lightning.

Thoughts: It's WWC and clean finishes don't really exist in big matches. We didn't quite see as much of this as it seems. People got their heads pushed into the barbed wire but no one really took any bumps in it. It was a match and I thought it was average. RT1 won as expected.

Zcion RT1 and Oscar Benabe do a promo. He says Mike Nice is still his son and says he has Oscar in his corner now. Oscar says Mike Nice can't handle him and he has Zcion by his side. Zcion says Oscar is the future of the business and says Aguadilla will be a war zone as they will be the revolution.

Chicano does a promo. He says he and Mike Nice face Zcion and Oscar. He says Zcion is getting concerned in things that don't involve him. He says if he stray away, he may lose his title. He says he doesn't understand Eddie Colon and says says they need to put on subtitles for Oscar Benabe's promos as he doesn't understand him.

We see clips of Chicano attacking Oscar Benabe possibly before his match with Mike Nice. He attacked him as he entered and blooded him up. We then see clips of Mike Nice vs Oscar Benabe. It looked to be a bit one-sided early then Oscar made his comeback. Mike pinned him with doi fives and it looks like both guys put a pretty good effort into this one.

We see clips of Lightning getting stomped by Sole, Forza and Intelecto Cinco Estrellas with Toledo cheering them on. We cut ahead. Orlando Colon, Mike Nice, Chicano and Romeo Quevedo stomp Zcion RT1. Lightning comes in and cleans house on the heels. Lightning then stares down 1v3 with Zcion RT1 and his 2 masked guys. RT1 says he admires Lightning and they hug. He calls him a legend. Zcion says his crew are The Revolution and Orlando Colon's ship has filled up with water.

Intelecto Cinco Estrellas does a promo. He says he will end Lightning's career. He says he took out Eddie Colon and will take out anyone who stands in the way of his plans. He says his lone mission is to end Lightning's career.

The mayor of Aguadilla then invites us to the show.

Abel Durant then closes the show and invites us to the upcoming live events.

Overall thoughts: It was a different show than usual. They covered a lot of stuff here as Septiembre Negro had quite a few big happenings with Lightning turning face and linking up with Zcion and Zcion's 2 new Revolutionaries. Eddie Colon's friendship with Toledo and Intelecto is over. Toledo, Intelecto and Quevedo also seem to have joined up with Mike Nice, Chicano and Orlando Colon.

As always, the matches were bleh. Everything always has to end on a screwy finish and the matches always get clipped up which hurts them and brings the show down. If you follow WWC, you'll want to see this as there were a lot of big happenings here. It was interesting and I'd give it a 6 out of 10 for the extra effort they put out. It was acceptable.
