AEW Collision 10/24/2026
We are in Winston-Salem, NC. Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuimness and Paul Wight are on commentary.
The Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs come out to talk to start.
Jay White says they need a new name and says they are now called The Last Outfit. He teases they might call themselves Bullet Club. He says he and Finlay know their limits but he can’t trust him. He says he knows working together is better than not. Jay tells Marina Shafir to drop the mean scowls. He says Orange Cassidy needs to be reminded of his place which isn’t near him. He says Mox is fragile, hopeless and will chicken out when faced with his fate. Jay says he will take the Continental Title from him. He says they will destroy The Death Riders. He teases doing the Gunns Up line but doesn’t.
Thoughts: The new group name isn’t good. The group has way too many members in it as well. This was not a good start for them. They are just going to be another group who loses to The Death Riders on Collision most weeks.
The Conglomeration are interviewed. Kyle wants to cut the head off the snake.
Best of 5 Series, Match 2 - FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs The Motor City Machine Guns
Thoughts: Cash picked up the pin while holding into the ropes on Alex. It was acceptable. It got off to a slow start. It’s tough because the expectations are so high and with this being a series, they can’t go all out because they have to wrestle more times. So the matches aren’t quite the epics they are supposed to be.
We see Will Ospreay do a promo with his Blood and Guts team from after Dynamite. He talks about why his teammates won’t submit or surrender. Will tells Cope we need the Cope he saw when he was a kid. Cope then goes off on The Don Callis Family.
Intergender 8-Person Tag Match - The Death Riders vs Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Shawn Dean, Carlie Bravo and Trish Adora)
STP do an inset promo. They say a lot of new groups are forming and if The Death Riders show up, they will get their bells rung.
Thoughts: Once it turned into a normal tag match after the brawl to start it was acceptable enough. It was nothing we haven’t seen a bunch of times and Shane’s crew lost like they usually do. The big spot was Claudio doing a deadlift suplex to Shane which was impressive.
Mox did a promo after mentioning Jay White.
Josh Alexander vs Blade Brown
Thoughts: It was all squash here. Blade is bigger than Josh and lost as the big guy usually does here. Josh did a stiff looking C4 Spike and won with an ankle lock.
Josh then talked on the mic after with Roppogni Vice. He put over Don Callis and says Doyle’s team will win the tag titles at the next PPV. He says there is a lot of gold in The Family and he wants to bring in the TNT Title at Fright Night. Josh then yells at Darby to fight him.
Cope comes out and hits Rocky and Trent but Josh leaves. Doyle and Davis then beat up Cope.
Swerve Strickland vs Myron Reed
Thoughts: Reed got another singles match here this time with a bigger name. Swerve attacked him before it started. It wasn’t a total squash though it looked like it would be. Reed even got a dueling chant here which was cool. Swerve won with a vertebreaker and a top rope double stomp. Reed botched the finish a little. It was an okay match.
Mike Bailey and Andrade El Idolo vs Steve Allen and Robert Allen
Thoughts: It was a shorter squash. Both jobbers took some hard kicks from Mike to the head and face here en route losing. Idolo and Mike is a bit of a random team.
Idolo went to take a photo with a girl after and Tomasso Ciampa attacked him. Mike made the save.
Jay White vs Kyle O’Reilly
Thoughts: It was a work the limb the match here. That was only so exciting and maybe wasn’t the best way to end this show. Jay won as expected and it was longer and slower battle.
There was a big brawl after with The Last Outfit, The Conglomeration and The Death Riders.
Overall thoughts: It was the usual Collision. It had random matches with predictable results but we had some storyline development with Jay’s new crew. The wrestling was acceptable as whole but there was a decent bit of pointless filler. I’d give it a 6 out of 10 overall and would say it was acceptable.
