Reality of Wrestling 9/28/2026 PLATINUM Episode 40

Note - The last few episodes were episodes that only had content from Summer of Champions. I had seen all of that already. I'll review them at some point.

Semsei vs Nasir Dey

They lock up and Sem waistlock takedowns him. Dey wristlocks him. Sem rolls out, kips up and armdrags him. Sem blocks an upkick. Dey trips him and Sem dropkicks him. Sem walks the top rope and diving armdrags him. 

Dey pulls Sem's throat down over the top and kicks him in the face. Dey jumping neckbreakers him for 2. Dey stands on his neck and chokes him over the 2nd rope. Dey kicks him in the body and hits elbows. 

Dey michinoku drivers Sem then twists his neck with his feet. Dey goes for pins and gets 2 counts. Dey chops him in the corner and Sem chops back. Dey sunset flips him then does a neck and double arm hold on him. 

Sem hits punches and knees him in the gut. Dey superkicks him. Sem drops him a few times and enzugiri's him from the apron. Sem top rope diving head chops him. Dey pulls Sem's headband over his eyes and enzugiri's him. Sem ducks a buzzsaw kick with his eyes covered. Sem spin kicks him with his eyes covered then scissors kicks him. Sem then pins him.

Thoughts: It was kind of interesting to see Sem pick up the win with his eyes covered. There was nothing wrong with it and the finish was the most notable thing about it. It was average.

Tiffany Nieves and Gretta arrive. Tiff says something stinks and knocks over Jazmin Allure's stuff. Monica Monroe interrupts and tells her not to bully Jazmin. Tiff tells her to watch her words and says she has Gretta with her. Monica challenges her to a tag match and Tiff calls for Booker to seemingly set this up.

Zilla Fatu comes out with an NXT jacket on. He says it feels good to be home. He says the journey has been up and down since he debuted with WWE. He says what matters is where his heart is at and that's with the ROW nation. He said he had a goal to make Booker T and his family happy. He says he came here to put the work in and says it wasn't a handout. 

He says this is the place he calls home. He says his dad still came here even when he was signed to WWE. He says when he first came here as a kid, he didn't know his dad was famous until he got in trouble at school one day. He says he's happy he gets to celebrate with the fans. 

He says when Booker asked if he could come here, he said "yes sir". He says this is where he started and says he's so happy Booker took him under his ring. He says he's not coming for Booker anymore as he salutes him. He says it hurts that his dad wasn't here with him but he's happy Booker took him under his wing. He says he doesn't know if he'd be here if it wasn't for him. He says to show Booker some love when he comes out here.

He tells the fans to buckle up because it'll be a long ride. He says he only knows how to swang and bang as it's a Fatu thang. 

Thoughts: This was Zilla's goodbye message to ROW. He did well here and it was inevitable that he'd make WWE if for nothing than his last name alone. 

TV-MA (Tiffany Nieves and Gretta) vs Monica Monroe and Jazmin Allure

Tiff and MM lock up. MM wristlocks her and Tiff flips out using the ropes. MM headflips out of a wristlock and wristlocks her. Tiff cartwheels over her, MM rolls over her back and armdrags her into an armlock. 

MM running euros her in the corner then Jaz flying back elbows Tiff in the corner. Jaz corner basement dropkicks Tiff then suplexes her. MM slingshot swantons Tiff for 2. 

Gretta tags in. She grabs MM by the throat. Tiff almost runs into Gretta. Tiff jawbreakers MM and Gretta boots MM over. Gretta lifts MM and giant swings her. Gretta throws Tiff from her shoulder and tries to pin her with a foot on her.

Gretta gordbusters Tiff onto MM for 2. Tiff chinlocks MM. MM boots Tiff out of the corner. MM enzugiri's Tiff. MM goes for the tag and Jaz jumps off the apron to get away from her. Jaz then mocks her. Tiff pedigree's MM. Gretta  then chokeslams MM and pins her.

Thoughts: Jaz turning on MM for no real reason was weird. They could have had them atleast hit each other on accident or something. This was neat as we had the NWA Women's champ vs the ROW Women's champ here in MM vs Tiff. Gretta did a little more here than she does in the NWA. She's green, but her size makes her stick out and what she does kind of works. It was average.

Jaz talks on the mic after. She says she didn't come here to be nice or MM's tag partner. She says she didn't come to be anyone's friend. She says she came here to become ROW Women's champ. Jaz then boots her.

Max Castellanos is given a homemade cigar from a local cigar company in the ring. Max thanks the cigar store rep. He says "I told you so". He says opportunities are everywhere and says he has a new promise tonight. He promises to be the longest, most dominant and ruthless ROW champ we have ever seen. He says it's time to smoke. 

Jay Alexander comes out and interrupts. Jay says he won't let Max say all these things about himself and not address it. He says Jay's title reign may be shorter than he thinks as he's defending against Jay tonight. Jay says the last time they fought, he took his Texas Title from him. He asks why wouldn't he do it again? Max goes to hit him, misses and takes shots. Jay knocks him out of the ring and Max crawls to the back.

AJ Francis does a promo. He says Big Luther knows his name and says he's looking as chubby as ever. AJ says Luther thought he might get his title rematch today but he says he has more pressing matters. AJ says he will be there in 2 weeks and says they will face off for the ROW Glory Title. AJ says they should up the stakes and he should prove to everyone how bad he is. AJ says they should do it in a steel cage. He says his cage match rep speaks for itself and Luther will be another victim on that list. He says he's the best big man in the business of money, money, money. He also says he has a surprise for him.

ROW Glory Title - Big Luther (c) vs Josiah Jean

Tianna Sway is with Jean.

JJ slides out before they lock up. Big throws him back off the lock up. JJ knees him in the gut and side headlocks him. Big shoulders him over. JJ slaps Big. Big throws him into the corner then corner lariats him. Big then throws him.

Big misses a corner double chop. Big catches JJ's harlem side kick and throws him down. Tianna Sway gets on the apron and JJ eye rakes Big. JJ superkicks Big for 2.

JJ is caught off the 2nd rope and Big hits a world's strongest slam. Big lariats him over the top rope. Big is pushed into the post then sent into the steps. Big rolls back in and takes punches and forearms from JJ.

JJ flying forearms him then clips him. JJ bangs Big's leg off the post. Big is pulled crotch first into the post. JJ chinlocks him. JJ jumping ddt's him for 2. JJ's sunset flip is blocked and Big hits a sky high. Big pins him.

Thoughts: Luther won as expected here. It didn't get a ton of time and was average. They didn't do anything too wild here and took it easy.

Overall thoughts: All 3 matches shown here were average. Nothing was totally bad, just I didn't really love anything here that much. There's not a ton to say about this one but it was kind of cool to see TV-MA and it was cool to see the ROW Women's champ vs the NWA Women's champ in tag action. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as it wasn't super exciting and I'd say it was a little below average.
