LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 10/4/2026

LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 10/4/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/lm52-lucha-libre-mexicana-on-discovery_01898494895.html

Daniel Lopez and Luis Zamudio are on commentary.

I think Cibernetico talks to Karis La Momia in the locker room as he walks by.

The hosts talk.

Iron Kid vs Radioactivo vs Super Boy vs Rambo Jr.

I think everyone except Radioactivo is debuting here. El Rafiki is the ref.

Rambo and Rad hit kicks to start. Rambo takes down Rad and is armdragged. Rambo running back elbows him and is armdragged. Rad shoulders him over and does headflips. Rambo armdrags him then Rad uses the ropes to headscissors him.

Kid knocks Rad over then springboard diving headscissors him. Kid spinning armdrags Rad. Kid goes for a handspring and Boy stops him. SB rolls into a stunner on Rad. Rambo springboard mule kicks SB then tilt-a-whirl armdrags him. Rambo buckshots into an armdrag on SB.

Rad top rope crossbodies Rambo. Rad jumping kicks Rambo then moonsaults into a tilt-a-whirl armdrag on him. Rad does a dangerous looking fosbury flop type of dive on Rambo. SB tope con hilos Rad.

Kid step up springboard corkscrew flip dives outside. Kid top rope crossbodies Rad. Kid does a tequila shot on him for 2. SB flips Kid into a cutter. Rambo sitout burning hammers SB. Rad standing spanish flies Rambo. The four trade shots. Kid and Rambo take stereo superkicks. Rad casadora rolls SB into a legdrop for 2.

Rambo corner lariats Rad. Rad dropkicks him between the legs while he's on the 2nd rope for 2. SB cradle shocks Rambo for 2. Rad spin kicks Rambo in the gut. Rad pump kicks him then Rambo dropkicks him out. Rambo tope con hilos Rad through the ropes.

Kid ki krushers SB for 2. SB meteora's Kid from behind in the corner and wheelbarrow germans him. SB misses a top rope moonsault and Rambo top rope splashes Kid. Rambo pins Kid.

Thoughts:
Can we just run this back every week for a while? It was one of the better matches LM52 has had, though that's not a very high bar to hit. Everyone hit their spots and looked good, it was full of action and it went as well as this possibly could have without crazy stunts. Everyone came off looking well here. They've got to bring Rambo Jr. back as he looked like a pro out there. This was a good bout here and a great choice for an opener.

Rambo Jr. is interviewed after.

Mini Psicosis vs Mini Rey Mysterio

Rey and Psi chop each other then Rey tilt-a-whirl armdrgs him. Rey flying headscissors him. They both do headflips off the other person. Rey spinning headscissors him from his shoulders. Psi trips him from the outside and slingshot legdrops the back of his neck.

Psi tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him then bottom rope springboard dropkicks him for 2. Psi corner lariats him. Rey rolls over his back and armdrags him. Rey tope con hilos him through the ropes outside.

Rey jumps off the stage and diving headscissors Psi on the floor. They take a while and finally get back in. Rey goes up and over then headflips. Rey spinning headscissors him.  Rey satellite headscissors him out. Rey springboard tornillo's Psi. Rey shotgun dropkicks Psi.

Rey then 619's Psi and canadian destroyers him. Rey pins him.

Thoughts: The work was good and this went well. Psi bumped around for Rey just like the original and Rey hit his spots clean. It was an unusual match because it was a similar version of what the original Rey and Psi would have had...but it was done by two different people who were doing the same gimmicks. It was bizarre on paper, but it was a good little match and well done. Run this back again.

The hosts talk and Luis seems to like Rey.

Mini Rey Misterio is interviewed after.

Dr. Wagner Jr./Rey Wagner maybe talks to El Hijo de Silver King and Simon Blanco in the back, but they don't give them name graphics. Wagner talks about Pirata Morgan and seems to address each guy directly. They then put their fists in.

Dr. Wagner Jr. is interviewed.

Los Hell Brothers of Cibernetico, Hell and Chessman talk in the back.

The hosts then talk and close show while Mini Rey Mysterio acknowledges the crowd.

Overall thoughts
: There were only 2 new matches here as there usually are. But, both were good and some of the better matches this promotion has ever run. They also had some interviews and some backstage talking segments in-between. I would be totally fine if they just had these guys do rematches for a while because it was a lot better than what we usually get here. I'd give this a 6 out of 10. I don't think it was must see, but this is one of those shows that would make you turn a corner on a promotion and maybe check it out again. This was okay.
