We are at the Performance Center. Robert Stone and Blake Howard are on commentary.

Brooks Jensen does a video. He says he's not running away from Elijah Holyfield. He says his boots don't run away from anyone, they kick some @ss. He says they will be surrounded by dangerous superstars tonight. He says he will teach him one final lesson and expose him in front of his peers. He says he took him to the lumberjacks so they can finish the job for him. He says he will show baby Elijah is a colossal failure.

Robert Stone and Blake Howard talk at ringside and hype up the main.

Laynie Luck vs PJ Vasa

Sloane Jacobs is in the VIP Lounge. 

Luck hits forearms and spin kicks her in the gut. PJ pops her up and is hurricanrana'd out. Luck topes her outside.  Luck 2nd rope swantons her. PJ landslides her off a headscissors attempt. PJ hits shots on her and headbutts her down.

PJ corner splashes her and short arm lariats her. PJ then spears her for 2. PJ bearhugs her and Luck fights out. PJ bodyblocks her. PJ misses a falling headbutt drop. Luck upkicks her and step up enzugiri's her. Luck shining wizard's her.

Luck 2nd rope dropkicks her. Luck double stomps her on the apron for 2. PJ blocks a buzzsaw kick and sitout powerbombs her for 2. PJ goes for a suplex and is hit with a ddt. Luck superkicks her then death valley drivers her. Luck pins her.

Thoughts: PJ losing was a surprise. I don't know what the deal is, but there is someone backstage who isn't happy with her development. It was fine otherwise though. Luck was kind of a generic face but did alright with it.

PJ and Sloane Jacobs argue after. Sloane leaves.

Gianna Capri does a promo. She says she's an Italian Jersey girl. She says she's not here to make friends and isn't here to wait in line for an opportunity. She says she's new here but she's not new to wrestling. She says she wrestled in Japan and was a ballerina for 20 years. She says ballet taught her discipline and how to make competition look effortless. She says she's not Anya Rune's biggest threat, accountability is. She says it's good if she rubs people the wrong way. She says if she's too much for you, she only gets worse from her. She says if you can't handle the sauce, stay out of the kitchen. 

Chazz "Starboy" Hall vs Kale Dixon

Kale comes out with Alix Brooks.

They lock up and Kale slams him for 2. Kale spinning corner lariats him. Star sunset flips him for 2. Star rolls him up for 2. Star spin kicks him in the gut then spin kicks him in the face. Star top rope diving corkscrew armdrags him and dropkicks him. 

Star superkicks him in the gut. Kale drops Star throat first on the ropes. Kale lariats him and clubs on him. Cappuccino Jones is in the VIP Lounge. Star is put in tree of woe and is booted. Kale bridging revese ddt's him. 

Kale camel clutches Star. Kale drops him chest first on a flying headscissors attempt. Kale misses a 2nd rope move. Star hits shots on Kale. Star 2nd rope spinning headscissors him. Star spinning heel kicks him. Star standing shiranui's him and standing corkscrew moonsaults him for 2.

Star rolls him up for 2 and Kale gets a 2 count on him. Star superkicks him. Star gets on the 2nd rope and Alix trips Star. Kale spinning forearms Star and pins him.

Thoughts: Star had some nice flying here and Kale kind of stuck to simpler and rougher offense. It was acceptable but Kale could have used some more exciting offense here.

Cappuccino Jones talks to tar after and tells him not to worry about it.

Elijah Holyfield does a promo. He says Brooks Jensen's arrogance is strong but his spirit is weak. He says he's coming for revenge for the cheap shots and lies. He says the biggest mistake he could make is talking down on his name. He says he's been ready and will knock him out for good. 

Layla Diggs vs Zena Sterling

This was taped quite a while ago as Diggs has been out on injury for a few weeks. 

They lock up and go to the ropes. Zena waistlock takedowns her. Diggs splits out of a waistlock and rolls her. Zena sweeps her and rolls her into a 1 count. Zena cravates her.  Zena shoulders her over. Diggs kips up and Zena counters a takeover with a chinlock. 

Zena is pump kicked over the 2nd rope then she is stomped and booted in the corner. Diggs hits corner spears. Diggs flying pumping knees her for 2. They punch each other. Zena backdrops her.

Zena backsplashes her then short arm lariats her for 2. Diggs gordbusters her. Diggs gets a 2 count on her. Zena tilt-a-whirl slams her for 2. They trade pin attempts. Zena pins her while holding the tights and with her foot on the ropes.

Thoughts: It was surprising to see Diggs lose here since she's now an NXT girl. It started off good but lost it's momentum half way through and I'd only say it was average. Zena cheating to win is something different. Diggs was a face here.

Zena talks in her language into the camera after.

Vanta The Unknown does a video where she talks about various wrestlers. She doesn't name anyone though. We get lots of video graphics. She says to fear the unknown.

Harlem Lewis comes out to talk. Lewis says he walked in and out of the four-way as champ. He says that's how the rest of his title reign will go. He says he knows he needs a new #1 contender. He says he doesn't care how it is picked but he wants to know who it will be. Lewis asks for a #1 contender's match to be set up.

Harley Riggins interrupts. He says there won't be a #1 contender's match. He says he will rip the title off of him and cool him off. He says he smoked Ulka and Tate. He says Lewis isn't the baddest man here as he is. He says he's the big rig and will pump his rig into the title. Lewis asks if he got permission from daddy Kam Hendrix before coming out. Harley says he thought he was a fighting champ and says he should sit there and cry like a little b!tch. Lewis goes out after him and they fight. Security tries to break it up then Timothy Thatcher tries to help break it up.

We cut to the back. The Mog Squad jump Aaron Rourke in the back. Aaron slaps Max and is put in a full nelson by CJ Valor while the others yell. Max says this is a message to the whole roster and says if you mess with them, you'll find out what happens.

Next week is a #1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Special with Men's and Women's 4-Way #1 Contender's matches. 

Lumberjack Match - Brooks Jensen vs Elijah Holyfield

This is Eli's biggest match to date.

Eli blocks a boot. BJ back elbows him and Eli just gets mad. Eli traps him in the corner and BJ goes to the apron to stall. Eli side headlocks him. BJ reverses it. Eli goes for a punch and BJ slides out. BJ pushes the lumberjacks then is lariated out. The lumberjacks stomp BJ.

BJ goes out again and the other lumberjacks (two guys we haven't seen before) hit him and send him back in. BJ back elbows Eli then 2nd rope double axe handles him. Eli hits shots to the lower back and half-nelson slams him for 2. 

BJ is see-sawing on the 2nd rope and is hit. Eli dumps him out and the jacks go after BJ. Eli goes after him, BJ slides in and Viktor Zanov trips Eli. BJ then gets a shot in on Eli.

We go to break and return. BJ gets a 2 count on Eli. BJ takes shots and goes to the apron. BJ spears him from the apron. BJ lariats him from behind for 2. BJ hits crossface shots on him.

BJ neckbreakers him and chinlocks him. BJ boots him out of the corner and running boots him in the face. BJ misses an elbow drop and is crucifixed for 2. BJ lariats him down. BJ knees him in the face and knee drops him. 

BJ euros him. Eli hits elbows to the gut. BJ backrolls him and tries to pin him while holding the ropes. Eli flying shoulders him. Eli flying back elbows him then bulldogs him. Eli spinebusters him for 2. 

BJ eye rakes him and enzugiri's him. BJ shining wizards him. BJ backdrops him for 2. Eli forearms him and BJ rebound lariats him. BJ comes off the 2nd rope and is powerslammed down for 2. 

BJ goes out and shoves one lumberjack into Shido Ash. Ash hits that guy, Zanov throws Marcus Mathers and everyone fights. Romeo Moreno tope con hilos outside. BJ tries to escape up the aisle. Sam Holloway comes out and throws him in the ring. Eli uppercuts BJ and pins him.

Thoughts: Lumberjack matches aren't known for being classes. I can't even tell you what the best one I ever saw was. They did the right stuff with Eli have a nice comeback and BJ having some nice stiff offense but it was average. We did get the big fight between the lumberjacks here as is starting to become customary in these matches.

Overall thoughts: Luck/PJ was fine. Starboy/Kale was acceptable. Diggs/Zena was average after getting off to a good start. The main event was also average as most lumberjack matches tend to be thought were nothing particularly wrong with it. They got a lot of stuff done here and the show was acceptable as a whole, just there was nothing must see. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Thea Hail does a video in the parking lot. She says Lyons knows this is her last night as the Evolve champ. She tells her to bring her friends as she will defy all doubt and become women's champ.

CJ Valor vs Sam Holloway

Dorian Van Dux is in the VIP Lounge.

CJ hits Sam before the bell and his shots to the gut. Sam shoulders him over and clubs him. Sam then runs the ropes and suicide dives The Mog Squad outside. Sam then running facekicks Max Abrams over. CJ then spears Sam on the outside. The Mog Squad then taunt Sam.

CJ top rope diving shoulderblocks Sam. CJ foot chokes Sam and corner splashes him. CJ makes the ref look at his muscles and The Mog Squad nail Sam outside. CJ foot chokes Sam. CJ knees Sam in the gut then atomic drops him. CJ chinlocks Sam.  

CJ hits him in the gut and Sam short arm lariats him down. Sam corner splashes CJ then double underhook supelxes him. Sam running dropkicks CJ. CJ powerbombs Sam then hits a chaos theory german for 2. 

Sam gose for a slam and CJ's buddies pull CJ away. Sam lariats CJ's buddies and back body drops Max onto his buddies. Sam sitout chokeslams CJ and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an alright hoss battle here. They worked well together and the interference didn't distract too much. Sam had a little better of a showing than usual.

Harlem Lewis does a video. He says his life has change a lot since winning the Evolve Title. He says his old buddies congratulated him and he got emotional when he showed his brother his title. He says he didn't expect his relationships with wrestlers like Aaron Roberts and Harley Riggins change. He says the Harlem Lewis World Tour will continue.

He says when the pressure gets turned up, he gives it back. He says this title will stay on his shoulders for a long time so get used to it.

Cutler James vs Marcus Mathers

It's GAL is in the VIP Lounge. 

They lock up and CJ backs him up on the ropes. CJ armlocks him. MM headflips out. CJ takes him down by the arm. MM step up enzugiri's him. CJ spears him for 2. CJ euros him over. MM euros him and corner splashes him.

MM hits him in the gut and chops him. CJ giant swings him. CJ running corner spears him. CJ pops him up and is hurricanrana'd out. We go to break and return. CJ armlocks MM.

CJ knees him in the gut. MM back elbows him. CJ pop up euros him.  CJ drops him with euros then short arm lariats him twice. CJ bangs MM's head off the buckles. CJ leg chokes him on the ropes and elbows him in the head. 

CJ knees him in the gut and pump kicks him for 2. CJ boots him in the head and tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him for 2. CJ chinlocks him and twists his head. CJ corner spears him. MM double jump twisting crossbodies him. MM hits shots on him then flying lariats him. MM os cutters him and superkicks him. MM 2nd rope moonsaults him for 2.

MM tope con hilos him outside. MM superkicks him. MM comes off the 2nd rope and is caught with a swinging backbreaker. CJ whirlybird's him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an okay match here. MM was the underdog. CJ powered him around and threw him around. They did what they were supposed to in this bout and CJ is slowly finding his way as a powerhouse. He still needs to work on showing some personality though.

It's GAL tells MM he needs some protein after.

Adrianna Rizzo interviews Cutler James at ringside. She asks if he's eyeing the Evolve Title. CJ says he has enjoyed his time here. He says he and his boys dominate on Tuesday but Wednesday is for Cutler. He says he has his sighs on the Evolve Title. He says when he's ready, you will know, as he will take it like that.

PJ Vasa odes an interview. She says Laynie Luck is a stepping stone. She says to stop talking about her feelings and come get her issue. She says she's coming to collect from Nikkita Lyons.

Harley Riggins says he's been depending on others all his life as he played football. He says you can't win alone...at least that's what they say. He says he saw spots that put him on a team here. He didn't want it but he rode with Kam and Jax. He says he's always better riding solo though. He says he was sick and tired of people holding him back in college football. He says he never let himself down as he's his own biggest hero. He says he's chasing the Evolve Title because he's the big rig and will park it wherever he wants to.

Viktor Zanov and Shido Ash do a video. Vik says they are stronger as a uni and they think and train the same. Ash says they are bigger and badder than anyone at Evolve. Vik says everyone is scared of them and you should be.

Kale Dixon and his girl Alix Brooks talk to Timothy Thatcher. He says last week was crap and says he thought he was coming into a fair playing field. He says what happened with Gal is not what they signed up for. He says promises weren't kept. Timothy offers him Chazz Hall for next week. Kale says there will be one superstar and one boy next week.

Timothy Thatcher then talks about Brooks Jensen leaving in his car last week. He says Brooks Jensen and Elijah Holyfield will fight in a lumberjack match.

Zena Sterling comes in. She said she did well in the 8-man tag and wants a singles match. Tim offers her a match vs Layla Diggs next week and Zena doesn't seem thrilled.

Sloane Jacobs comes out before Nikkita Lyons' match. She says we will be divinely blessed by someone more famous and fabulous than Thea. She says it's Nikkita Lyons.

WWE Evolve Women's Title - Nikkita Lyons (c) vs Thea Hail

Gianna Capri and Veronica Haven are in the VIP Lounge. Haven is already gone from WWE.

Thea jumps on Lyons and goes for the kimura. Lyons hits shots on her. Lyons flying forearms her. Thea thesz presses her and hits mounted punches. Lyons then hits some. Thea single arm ddt's her for 2. Thea yanks and stomps the arm. 

Thea superkicks Lyons then Lyons forearms her down. Lyons axe kicks her in the back. Lyons foot chokes her. Thea works the arm more. Lyons throws her into the corner. Thea headscissors her then single leg ropkicks her. 

Thea tries an up and over is pulled down. Thea is then thrown out. We go to break and return. Lyons hits mounted forearms and split leg drops her. Lyons headkicks her over the 2nd rope for 2.

Lyons samoan drops her for 2. Lyons camel clutches Thea. Thea cradles her for 2 and rolls her up for 2. Lyons running lariats her. Lyons splashes her for 2. Lyons camel clutches her. Lyons misses a split leg drop. Lyons corner spears the post when Thea moves. Thea forearms her and chest headbutts her down. Thea rolls her into the buckles and backsplashes her. Thea exploders her. Thea low single leg dropkicks her for 2. 

Thea knees her in the face. Lyons spin kicks her in the face for 2. Lyons high kicks her then 2nd rope superplexes her. Veronica Haven and Gianna Capri head to ringside. Anya Rune goes up to them and hadouken's them. They laugh at her and Rune gets upset at her failure. Wren Sinclair and Skyler Rae hit Gaven and Capri. Rune didn't see it and sees them down. She thinks she did it. The ref ejects Rune.

Thea grabs a kimura on Lyons. Lyons taps but the ref doesn't see it. Sloane Jacobs eye rakes Thea and Thea breaks the hold. Lyons spinning roundhouse kicks Thea and pins her.

Thoughts: It was an alright bout. Thea worked the arm and tried to with win a kimura but got screwed in the end. Thea lost but didn't lose anything because it wasn't clean. It got a lot of time to play out. Neither girl particular stuck out here though. Capri and Haven haven't always been with Lyons but they had them grouping up with Lyons again here.

We see Wendy Choo's image then appear on the tron as Lyons celebrates.

Overall thoughts: It was a good episode of Evolve. It seems like someone new is booking it or changes have been made as the show has been a little better than usual lately. Maybe it's all the main roster people hanging around. I liked all 3 matches and would say maybe the main was the best match of the night. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall.

The hosts are at ringside and talk about tonight's show. 

Charlie Dempsey vs Ulka Sasaki

CD water wheel drops him. Ulka headscissors him and CD side headlocks him twice. Moreno and Dar are in the VIP Lounge. CD. They trade forearms. Ulka side headlocks him then hiptosses him. They trade chops and euros. They armdrag each other.

Ulka hammerlock takedowns him. Ulka hits forearms and chops in the corner. CD hits shots in the corner. CD gutwrench suplexes him for 1. Ulka suplexes him then pumping knees him. Ulka flying kicks him. CD chops the arm. 

They test strength. CD monkey flips him then Ulka holds on and monkey flips him. CD germans him and Ulka spinning forearms him and both go down. They trade forearms. Ulka backslides him then cradles him for 2. 

Ulka does a rings of saturn and CD ropebreaks. Ulka kicks him in the back and chest. Ulka slaps him and CD dragon screws him. CD backdrops him twice. CD double underhook suplexes him.

Ulka sleepers him and CD backdrops him. CD pins him.

Thoughts: It was a nice technical style match. It was one of the better matches I've seen Ulka in. This was better than I expected. Ulka loses, but I don't know if it really matters.

Brooks Jensen watches an old WCW match with two unknown people. He calls it a masterpiece and says they should inspire to wrestle like that. He says they should inspire to be like them and not someone like Elijah Holyfield who uses his daddy's last name. Brooks presses the elevator button and Elijah is in the elevator. Elijah chases after him and Brooks runs.

Sloane Jacobs takes before her match. She says it's a very exciting night. She says she will beat Wren and says her best friend Nikkita Lyons will be watching. Nikkita Lyons comes out with her and goes into the VIP Lounge.

Wren Sinclair vs Sloane Jacobs

Wren snapmares her and armlocks her. Wren takes her over by the shoulder and armlocks her. Wren side headlock takeovers her. Wren bangs SJ's arm off her shoulder and armlocks her. 

Wren goes up and over her and shoulders her over. Wren bangs SJ's face off the mat. Wren takes her down and hits mounted shots. SJ knees her in the chest and neckbreakers her over the 2nd rope.

We go to break and return. SJ twists her neck and Wren rolls her up for 2 counts. SJ bangs Wren's head off the buckles with her headscissors. SJ lariats her down for 2. SJ hits downward elbows on her. SJ catapults her throat into the ropes. 

SJ gets a 2 count on her. SJ top wristlocks her. Wren hits chops on her. Wren back elbows her and slams her. Wren corner splashes her and double underhook suplexes her. Wren facebusters her for 2. SJ high kicks her then hits a magic screw for 2.

Wren trips her and SJ pulls Wren's throat into the ropes. SJ rolls her into cattle mutilation and submits her.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. Not great or anything but it was definitely one of Sloane's better efforts here. Wren's the higher girl on the totem pole so she picked up the win here. 

Nikkita Lyons gets in the ring. She says Wren beat Sloane but didn't beat her. She says since Wendy Choo is missing, no one is worthy of challenging her. Thea Hail runs in, takes down Lyons and headbutts her in the chest. Thea says she's her next challenger and says that title is coming home with "dad".

Thoughts: Dad? Really?

We see Brooks Jensen leaving. He wants the camera to get away. He gets in his car and Elijah Holyfield chases him on foot as Brooks drives away.

Laynie Luck does a video. She said she came up short 2 weeks ago in her title shot then said PJ Vasa injured her. She says she's not someone who gets tossed to the side. She says she'll be cleared in 2 weeks and will become champ. She says if she has to go through the bad@ss of Evolve, she has no problem with that.

Adriana Rizzo interviews Harlem Lewis in the VIP Lounge. Rizzo says winning the title is one thing and keeping it is another. She asks why he's out here. Lewis says it feels good to get his first tile defense under his belt but he knows it will get harder from here. He says he needs to be harder and more aggressive. He says he's a sucker for a good fight and one of the people in the next match might be his next challenger.

It's GAL vs Cappuccino Jones vs Chazz "Starboy" Hall

Gal pushes Cap into Star and rolls up Cap. Star is pushed into Cap and Gal waistlock takedowns both opponents. Gal then does push-up's on both. Gal takes a double hiptoss. Star and Cap trade pin attempts and Gal tries to pin both. 

Gal hits Star in the gut in the corner. Cap nails Star when Gal ducks. Cap suplexes Gal and Star running SSP's Cap for 2. Star monkey flips Gal and casadora armdrags him. Cap pump kicks Gal down. Star spin kicks Cap. Cap headscissors Star out of the corner and slams him. Cap crossbodies Gal over the top rope. Cap is up top and Star cartwheel backflip kicks him. Star flying space tiger's both opponents outside.

We go to break and return. Star spin kicks Gal in the gut. Star trips Gal and standing corkscrew moonsaults him. Star hits kicks on Cap then Cap dropkicks Star. Cap's springboard is caught and Star spinning backdrops him for 2. 

Star high kicks Gal then shiranui's Gal off of Cap. Gal 2nd rope double dropkicks both opponents. Cap forearms Star then hits a decaffinator (forward rolling neckbreaker). Cap top rope elbow drops Star and Gal throws Cap out on the pin. Gal steals the pin on Star and Gal wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. Gal was a little better than usual and Star wasn't quite moving as well as usual. Cap continues to lose stock around here with another 

Gal gets on the mic after and says he's on the win streak of a lifetime. He says that was light work for him. He says he's the top guy of WWE ID. He then calls out Harlem Lewis and says he wants the Evolve Title. Gal then turns around and eats shots from Cap and Star. Cap and Star double dropkicks Gal out. Cap an Star then bump in to each other and tease fighting. They then shake hands and dance.

Overall thoughts: It was a fun Evolve show. It went by pretty fast and all 3 matches were fine. We got some matches set up for future shows like Lewis/Gal and Lyons/Thea and the Jensen/Holyfield feud continues on. I had no problems with this one and I liked it. It was a good show.

We are at the Performance Center. Robert Stone and Blake Howard are on commentary.

Harlem Lewis does a video. He says tonight may be a fatal four way, but he doesn't fight the odds, he fights the men standing across from him. He says he won't let his title slip away. He says the Harlem Violence World Tour continues tonight. Aaron Rourke says sorry, not sorry if Lewis loses his title without being pinned. Tristan Angels says we get to see him take his place on the throne and win the title. Max Abrams says they can lookmax more with the title around his waist because that's main man energy.

The Mog Squad come out to talk. Max says he's moodmaxing as his friends bought him a new pair of sunglsses. They then clap the mic for that. Max says there's some people who are "chopped" here and says they will never know how it feels to have a Hot Boy Summer. Max says that's the whole roster though. Max says you will have to acknowledge them as the supreme moggers when he wins the title tonight. 

CJ Valor hugs Max. He says the only thing they are missing is the Evolve Title. Santi says Jacari a gangster and says they are unstoppable. Jacari says him and Santi are on the same page. He says everyone is jealous as they ball and mog harder. Max says he can't believe people in this world would dislike them. Max has them mog for the crowd and we cut to the commentators. Max says they are the reason they are employed. Santi says the whole world will love The Mog Squad when Max wins the title.

Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov then come out for their match. 

The Mog Squad (Santi Rivera and Jacari Ball) vs Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov

Santi knocks Vik's hat off before the match. Vik throws Santi over the top on the lock up. Vik overhead belly to belly suplexes Santi. Vik throws Ball by the arm. Vik hits a hard lariat on Ball. Ash monkey flips Ball then hip throws him for 2. 

Vik slams Ball then slams Ash onto him. Vik then does that Santi. We go to break and return. Vik misses a corner charge. Ball hits corner spears on Vik then Santi hits corner spears also. Vik boots Santi out of the corner then takes an enzugiri in the corner. Ball jumps off Santi's back and hits a splash on Vik.

Ball dropkicks Vik. Ball karelin's lifts Vik and holds on for 2 more. Ball jumps off Santi's back and misses a corner splash. Ash comes in and drops the heels with shots. Ash corkscrew kicks Santi then hits a ranhei variation on Santi for 2.

Ash flying euros Santi. Santi is thrown up into a Vik german. Vik pins Santi.

Thoughts: It wasn't bad. Vik is definitely not a face but he had a good showing here. Ball hit a nice dropkick. I'm interested to see where thing go with Vik and Ash.

Timothy Thatcher comes out and tells Max Abrams that The Mog Squad is banned from ringside tonight.

Marcus Mathers talks to Romeo and Dar in the back. He says it's been tough for ID 1.0 since they lost to The Mog Squad. It's Gal comes in and says he beat Kale Dixon. Dar says he doesn't have the mental capacity for this. Cappucino Jones comes in and tells Gal to shut up. Mathers rips Gal for losing to Cutler James. Gal puts over Darkstate as tough and says Cutler would beat him. He tells him to ask for a match. Gal asks Cap when the last time was that he won anything. Mathers says he was right and he needs to prove that he belongs in Evolve.

Skylar Rae vs Anya Rune

Sky side headlock takeovers her then AR does the same. Sky headscissors her and we go to break. We return and Sky wristlocks AR. Sky rolls and headflips out of a wristlock. Sky then backflips. Sky trips AR and shoulders her over. Sky headscissors her down.

AR double chops Sky down for 2. AR euros her in the back. AR wants to go up top but is hesitant. Sky then cradles AR for 2. Sky dropkicks AR then running back elbows her. Sky bulldogs AR for 2. AR backslides Sky. AR hits soul foot on Sky then Sky does it right back to her. Both go down.

Sky la mistica's her into a collar and arm lock. AR rolls her over to escape. AR clotheslines Sky with her own arm for 2. AR goes up top and is thrown down. Sky top rope frogsplashes AR and pins her.

Thoughts: This was fine. Sky had a good showing and definitely has a high ceiling. AR's gimmick worked a little better here but I'm not sure about it. Sky had near grounded collar and double arm submission.

Gianna Capri jumps Rune after and stomps on her. Rune is thrown into the post. 

Elijah Holyfield is outside and has a message for Brooks Jensen. He asks where Brooks is and asks if he's ducking him. He says Brooks isn't a bad man, he's just bad at when he speaks. He says he flipped a switch in him that he wished he never touched. He says he will find him and put his fist through his chin.

Timothy Thatcher talks. He says it's Wren vs Sloane next week. Chazz Hall interrupts. He says he wants to face Cap Jones next week. Hall says they need to duke it out and Tim says he won't cancel Cap's match vs Gal next week. Hall says he will fight both and wants a triple threat. Tim agrees and complains about him trying to sit on his desk.

Next week has Charlie Dempsey vs Ulka Sasaki as well.

WWE Evolve Title - Harlem Lewis (c) vs Aaron Rourke vs Tristan Angels vs Max Abrams

Lewis misses a charge and goes into the buckles. AR's tornado ddt is stopped. AR takes running corner attacks. AR double dropkicks his opponents. Lewis hits a double lariat. Lewis uranage's Max onto TA. TA lariats Lewis over the top and goes with him. Max pump kicks TA on the apron. AR is thrown out and caught by Lewis. TA dropkicks them over outside. Max dropkicks TA through the ropes. 

We go to break and return. Max chinlocks AR and throws him down. Max drops TA from the apron with a punch. AR jawbreakers Max then lariats and back elbows him. AR leg lariats Max. AR running euros Max in the corner. TA step up enzugiri's AR. 

Max takes a fallaway slam from TA but Lewis germans TA as he does it. AR stomps Lewis' head into the apron over the 2nd rope. AR is bounced off the top and takes a neckbreaker on the landing. Max superkicks AR and TA back elbows Max. 

AR goes for a handstand hurricanrana on the ropes but is pushed down and splashes Max off of it. TA takes a backhand up top. We get a tower of doom spot with TA getting superplexed. Max flying hip attacks Lewis. AR double stomps Max out of the corner. AR molly go round's Max for 2. Lewis flying knees AR. Lewis jackhammers Max and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter and fast paced match. There was a ton of action and some creative spots. It did go pretty well for the little time they got and I think they had about the best match they could have done here. I liked it, but it's a shame it didn't get more time. I'm just glad Lewis escaped with the title.

Lewis holds his title up at Harley Riggins outside after. Lewis says he waited a long time for this and Riggins getting a few wins doesn't get him a shot. Riggins tells him to kick rocks and count his days.

Overall thoughts: I liked the show. It was faster paced. It was only 45 minutes so it was a little shorter and it was a rather wrestling heavy show. It just felt different overall and that was for the better. We had 3 matches and all were fine here. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 and thought it was a good show overall.

Thea Hail, Skylar Raye and Wren Sinclair talk. Wren says Laynie Luck isn't cleared and they haven't heard from Wendy Choo. Zena Starling comes in. She says she'll step in as she wants to prove herself. Wren wants to talk strategy and we cut to the intro.

Harley Riggins vs Tate Wilder

Tate side headlocks him. Tate takes him over and side headlocks him. HR pulls his hair and pulls his face into the top rope. HR short arm lariats him. Tate flying shoulders him then lariats him over the top. HR hits him outside and double throat thrusts him. HR rams his back into the apron edge. Tate splashes him on the apron. We go to break and return.

Tate's head is stomped over the 2nd rope. HR elbow drops him and chops him. Tate chops him in the corner. HR boots him out of the corner and backcrackers him. HR 2nd rope twisting swantons him for 2. 

HR chinlocks him and throws him down. HR goes back to the chinlock. HR legdrops Tate's neck. Tate jawbreakers him then they flying double lariat each other. They trade shots. Tate lariats him and backdrops him. Tate slingblade neckbreakers him over the back for 2.

HR hits a spear. Tate thesz presses him and hits a diving forearm on him. Tate top rope moonsaults him for 2. Tate tries another moonsault and HR gets his feet up. HR picks him up like a chokeslam and knees him in the face. HR pins him.

Thoughts: It was fine. HR is kind of more of a heel brawler than a traditional wrestler. He's effective at what he does, just it's not a heavy workrate style. Tate flew around as usual and was fine as the face. I had no issues with this one.

Sloane Jacobs tells PJ Vasa she liked watching her put Laynie Luck in her place. She says she did a great job. She says Lyons appreciated what she did. She says PJ can become part of her crew when they win. PJ says no and says when she wins tonight, she's coming to collect from Lyons.

We get a video on Vanta The Unknown where she talks about some of the ongoings in Evolve and says you can't outrun a shadow.

Sam Holloway does a video. He says he's reminded of his football days when someone lost and they blamed each other. He says he told his boys to step outside and settle it and then thing got easier. He says that's what his boys need now. He says he needs CJ Valor. He says CJ isn't the powerhouse, he is. He says CJ should meet him in the ring.

Kale Dixon vs It's GAL

Kale is out here with his girl.

Kale back elbows him and waistlock takedowns him. Kale poses and Gal chops him in the leg. Gal rolls him up for 2 and waistlock takedowns him. Gal then does push up's on him and poses. Gal flying headscissors him and dropkicks him. Kale's girl distracts Gal on the apron. Gal poses at her and gets clipped.

Kale lifting reverse ddt's him. Kale pounds on him. Kale elbow drops him. Kale hits forearms and back elbows him down. Kale backdrops him and chops him in the back. Kale supericks him for 2. 

Gal slaps him. Kale neckbreakers him for 2. Gal flatliners him off the casadora. Gal hits punches and forearms. Gal backdrops him and kips up. Gal step up enzugiri's him in the corner and iconoclasm's him. Gal running facekicks him for 2. 

Kale eye rakes him and kicks him in the gut. Kale superkicks him for 2. Kale high kicks him. Kale misses a 2nd rope twisting splash. Gal spinning lariats him then fireman's carry gutbusters him. Gal then pins him.

Thoughts: It could have went either way here. The match was acceptable enough. I know they are trying out Gal as a face but he's really better suited as a heel and I wonder how much longer they will stick with it. I'm not loving Kale taking a loss like this though so early into his new character.

We get a video on Viktor Zanov and Shido Ash. Ash says they both grew up trying to be the best judo guy. Vik says they had many great wars. They say they are stronger as a unit and think the same. Vik says they smash all competition together.

Adrianna Rizzo interviews Brooks Jensen. Rizzo says he beat Elijah Holyfield twice but cheated both times. She calls him a cheater and asks what he has to say for himself. BJ says it's all hearsay. He says he's 2-0 against Elijah. He says Eli is a disgrace to his family name and tells him to go back to nepoland to cry to his daddy. Eli comes out and security tries to stop him. Eli nails one of the guards and BJ leaves.

Timothy Thatcher talks. He says next week will have an Evolve Title 4-way. He says it'll be Harlem Lewis vs Aaron Rourke vs Tristan Angels vs Max Abrams. He says that match will happen next week. 

Gianna Capri, Nikkita Lyons, PJ Vasa & Sloane Jacobs vs. Skylar Raye, Thea Hail, Wren Sinclair & Zena Sterling

Sloane says we are about to bask in the presence of a lioness and divine goddess in Nikkita Lyons.

The heels rush in and everyone fights. Sloane hits shots on Wren. Sky dropkicks Sloane for 2. Sloane high kicks her. Sky step up enzugiri's Capri. Capri takes a double shoulderblock. Zena slams Sky on Capri. Zena side headlocks Capri and Capri sends her into the corner.

PJ and Thea get in. Thea flying lariats her and just bounces off. Lyons bangs Thea's head off the buckles. Lyons waistlock takedowns her and split leg drops her. Everyone fights and Zena crossbodies PJ off the apron. Thea topes PJ. Sky top rope plancha's outside.

We go to break and return. Thea yanks on the arm of Lyons. Sky continues the arm work and is dropped with a shot. Sky hits forearms on Sloane. Sky hits soul foot on her and la mistica drops her. Sky is pushed into the ropes where she takes a facekick. PJ double chops and headbutts Sky down.

PJ black hole slams Sky for 2. Lyons hits Sky in the gut then Sky fires back with shots. Capri tags in and boots Sky. She hits punches and boots on her in the corner. Capri split foot chokes her in the corner. Capri delay suplexes her for 2. 

Sloane lariats Sky then armlocks her. Sloane rams her in the corner. Sky tags Zena in. Zena hits lariats and shots on the heels. Zena backdrops Capri then suplexes Sloane. Zena hits an emerald flowsion and side slams Capri. 

Sloane facebusters Zena and Capri facekicks Thea down. Thea double ddt's Lyons and Capri. Sky top rope crossbodies PJ. Thea headbutts Lyons down. Wren dropkicks Sloane under the bottom rope. Wren and Sloane fight to the back. Anya Rune comes out and does stupid anime poses at Capri. Thea baseball slides Capri then goes for the kimura on Lyons. Thea grounded kimura's Lyons and Lyons taps out.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time and went well for the most part. Skylar Rae probably had the best showing as she did a bunch of flying here. There were so many girls involved though that it was hard to really stick out. Thea submitting Lyons should lead to a title match. I have no idea what Arya Rune was doing out there and it just made her like like an idiot. This was an okay main.

Overall thoughts: We had 3 matches and all 3 were decent. I would have liked to have seen a Harlem Lewis promo though and would have liked to have heard from some other people too. I had no real issues with this one and thought the main was the match of the night. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 and thought it was good episode of Evolve.

Nikkita Lyons and Sloane Jacobs meditate. SJ asks if Lyons is ready for her title defense tonight. Lyons says tonight is a lesson on karma. SJ says Lyons doesn't seem right ahead of her title defense. Lyons says she needs extra eyes on her head tonight. SJ says she has nothing to worry about.

The hosts quickly welcome us to the show.

Cappuccino Jones and Marcus Mathers vs Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov

This is the WWE TV debuts for Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov.

Vik and MM go at it. Vik pulls him down off the lock up and STO's him. The Mog Squad are in the VIP Lounge. Vik back elbows MM down. MM boots him out of the corner and top rope twisting crossbodies him. MM jumping mule kicks Vik.

Vik side headlocks Cap. Ash tags in and euros Cap. Ash monkey flips him and hip throws him. Cap face shoves Ash then dropkicks him. Cap hits punches on Ash. Vik lariats Cap down from the apron. Vik knees Cap in the gut and hits elbows on him. Vik throws Cap on a slam.

Cap dropkicks Vik. Ash karelin's lifts Cap for 2. Cap takes running corner attacks and a belly to belly suplex from Vik for 2. Vik throws Cap down backwards. MM tags in and drops his opponents. MM PK's Vik from the apron and 2nd rope cutters him MM blue thunders Ash. Sam Holloway argues with The Mog Squad outside. MM is pushed into Cap. Ash running euros MM. MM is thrown into a Vik german and Vik pins MM.

Thoughts: It was a good debut for Zanov and Ash. They both look pretty cool and tough, they didn't botch and they had some nice throws here.  Mathers still needs to work on doing more with less. It's probably not a good look for Cap that he's currently putting over new talent.

The Mog Squad point at Ash and Zanov after. Ash and Zanov go up to them and security breaks it up.

Laynie Luck talks to Anya Runa, Layla Diggs and Zena Sterling. She says tonight is her night after 10 years of the grind. She says Diggs can be first in line when she wins. Anya says some nonsense about giving her the power of friendship. 

Sam Holloway vs Dorian Van Dux

They lock up and Sam shoves him back. Dux ducks a punch and Sam forearms him. Dux jumping knees him and armdrags him. Sam facekicks Dux down. Dux hits some shots and Sam release double underhook suplexes him. 

Sam slams Dux and 2nd rope elbow drops him for 2. They each hit shots. Sam forearms him and double chops him. Sam misses a corner splash then hits a stiff running dropkick. Dux clubs on him on the top rope. Dux top rope superplexes him.  

Dux flying shoulders him then thesz presses him. Dux samoan drops him. Dux top rope splashes him for 2. Dux boots Sam then Sam uranage's Dux for 2. They trade shots. Sam germans Dux and Dux hits a hard lariat. Dux top rope moonsaults Sam outside. They both stop each other from going on and both get counted out.

Thoughts: Dux mostly sold his leg throughout here and made Sam take a lot of moves. Dux didn't fly so much here. It was an interesting match and what we got was fine. Sam hit a nice dropkick. It would have been nice to get a true finish to this one.

Sam wants more and security stops him after.

Tate Wilder does a promo. He says Kam Hendrix and Harley Riggins have singled him out and are a constant thorn in his side. He says he thought beating Harley and going to NXT would stop this, but no. He says it's great to take up space in their heads. He says he's coming back to Evolve to face Harley next week. 

Harlem Lewis comes out to talk. Lewis says he can get used to the sound of him being champ. He says he would have never envisioned being champ after 2 years in WWE. He says he was a runner up on LFG and says he stayed true to himself as it lead him to the title. He says he went to Japan for 3 months and says he thought about what it would take to break through and it was not worrying about anyone but himself. He says there's only one way his story as a champ ends in Evolve, and that's when he vacates before going to NXT full time. He says the beast is out of the cage and welcome to The Harlem Violence World Tour.

Aaron Rourke comes out. He says it's hard to see the title on a different shoulder and congratulates him. He says he knew he would be his toughest challenge and he proved it. He says just because Lewis won the battle, doesn't mean the war is over. He says Lewis is not unbeatable and the title looks better around him. He says they should have a rematch now.

Tristan Angels comes out. He says those two make him sick. He says it's time that AR's underwhelming title reign is over and that he was mediocre. AR asks about his title reign...and says he never had one. Angels tells Lewis not to get too comfortable as he is here to collect his rematch. He says he is owed this as Mr. England is the only one who is qualified to sit on the throne.

Max Abrams comes out. Max says that's enough. He says this whole thing is pathetic. Max says he mogs all of them. Max says they are standing next to a true chad. Max congratulates Lewis but says it's time The Mog Squad take the title and...AR hits Max. All 4 men fight. Angels and AR are sent out. Lewis then ends up lariating AR down. Lewis then tells Thatcher to line them up and he will knock them down. 

Kale Dixon and his girl do a photoshoot. It's GAL interrupts in a speedo. He says he's got the one thing that could make it better and says let's do a swimsuit calendar. Kale says he'd like to see him across the ring from him so he can rack up anther W. Gal says he just wanted to be friends then poses for photos.

Elijah Holyfield vs Brooks Jensen

BJ slides out to stall to start. BJ forearms him out there and Eli shoulders him over in the ring. Eli lariats him for 2. Eli forearms him down. BJ double throat thrusts him and enzugiri's him. BJ emerald flowsion's him for 2. 

BJ hits euros, leg kicks and knee drops. BJ neckbreakers him. BJ elbows him in the face and hits a crossface shot. BJ is swept on the 2nd rope and goes into the buckles. BJ takes off the top buckle and Eli rolls him up for 2. Eli shoulders him over and gut punches him. Eli spinebusters him. 

Eli hits mounted corner punches. Eli prevents himself from going into the exposed buckle and flying shoulders BJ. Eli backrolls BJ, BJ reverses it and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter battle but it worked out well. Eli had good looking offense and was explosive and BJ cheated to win.

We get a video of a new girl talking with space graphics and black and white filters. She talks about the unknown.

Sloane Jacobs does the intro for Lyons ahead of her match. She says to prepare to be blessed and puts over Nikkita Lyons.

WWE Evolve Women's Title - Nikkita Lyons (c) vs Laynie Luck

Gianna Capri is in the VIP Lounge.

Lyons takes down Luck and hits mounted forearms. Lyons throws her in the corners. Lyons misses a corner spear. Luck superkicks her outside. We go to break and return. Luck yells at Sloane outside and hit shots on Lyons. Lyons headbutts Luck in the gut and throws her into the steps.

Lyons boots Luck in the head and suplexes her for 2. Lyons running forearms Luck then reverse bronco busters her in the corner. Luck rolls her up for 2. They trade forearms. Luck boots Lyons in the head and double stomps her on the apron for 2.

Luck tornado ddt's Lyons for 2. Lyons blocks a slingshot sunset flip and grabs the ropes. Luck step up enzugiri's Lyons. Luck is up top and Lyons runs the ropes to knock her down. Lyons spin kicks her in the face and pins her.

Thoughts: It was average. Luck got enough offense in and Lyons did her signature stuff. There wasn't a good enough story here and I didn't buy that Lyons was losing this one. 

PJ Vasa runs in and corner splashes Luck. She then samoan drops her. Gianna Capri gets on the apron. PJ chairs Luck's ankle. Skylar Rae and Wren Sinclair come out but get blocked. Thea Hail then comes in and we get a 6 girl battle. The faces get the heels out. 

Security tries to stop this. Timothy Thatcher comes out and signs an 8-woman tag match for next week.

Overall thoughts: It was one of the better Evolve episodes. Zanov and Ash had a good debut. Holloway/Dux was fine. Holyfield/Jensen worked out well and was okay for what it was. The main was average. Things just clicked and moved well for the most part on this show and they had a variety of different wrestlers here. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as it was a decent show. I'd say Jensen/Holyfield was the best match on this.

Max Abrams and The Mog Squad talk before the match. Max says he has to write the wrongs and they need to get back to mogging. He says he booked everyone to a wellness retreat. He tells them to take it easy while he handles Chazz Hall.

They lock up. Max chops him in the corner and Hall piefaces him. Max side headlocks him. Hall top wristlocks him and Max ropebreaks. Hall waistlock rolls him on the mat. Max punches Hall in the corner. Hall 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Hall monkey flips him. 

Max double throat thrusts him and hits shots. Hall dropkicks him for 2. Hall front facelocks him. Max boots him. Hall jumping spin kicks him. Hall is caught coming off the apron and Max apron powerbombs him. We go to break and return.  

Max boots him in the head. Hall hits shots to the gut and head. Max flying back elbows him for 2. Max knee drops Hall's back. Max chokes him on the ropes with his legs. Max hits a disaster kick for 2. Max chinlocks him. Hall misses a corner splash. Hall hits kicks to the body. 

Hall leg lariats him. Max flying euros him. Max falcon arrows him for 2. Max hits mounted shots. Hall hits Max in the gut and cradles him for 2. Max back elbows him. Max slams him. Max misses a top rope splash.

Hall hits punches and chops. Hall lands on his feet off a back body drop. Hall spinning heel kicks him. Hall springboard flying headscissors him. Hall high kicks him and standing shiranui's him. Hall buzzsaw kicks him. 

Hall is up top and Max stops him. Max hits a running blockbuster for 2. Hall standing corkscrew moonsaults him. Hall sends Max out. Max comes in before Hall can dive out. Hall enzugiri's Max from the apron. The Mog Squad come out. Mathers, Cappuccino and Holoway come out. Max is back body dropped onto everyone. Hall then does a flying space tiger drop onto everyone. 

Cappuccino Jones nails Hall on accident outside. Jones drops Santi with a shot. Max over the back fameassers Hall and pins him.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time and was a lot more even than I had expected it to be. It was fine. Hall did a lot of flying as usual and Max flew a bit. I liked Hall's escape out of the back body drop. The run in's were a bit of a surprise.

Hall pushes Cap Jones after.

Timothy Thatcher wishes Harlem Lewis good luck tonight. Lewis says the title match is long overdue and it's time to let the beast of the cage tonight. He says the Harlem Violence World Tour begins tonight.

Nikkita Lyons and Sloane Jacobs talk in the back. Lyons isn't happy about her party last week. Sloane says she doesn't know why no one showed up. Lyons complains about Laynie Luck and says she wants her first title defense to be against her. I think Sloane asks where Wendy Choo is and Lyons says who cares. Sloane says she will talk to Thatcher.

Layla Diggs vs Veronica Haven

Haven wears giant angel's wings out. Diggs rams her in the corner, hits corner spears and pounds on her. Haven yanks on her arm. Diggs shoulders her over and armdrags her. Haven side headlock's her and Diggs blocks the takeover. Haven is caught off the 2nd rope and Diggs powerslams her down. Diggs standing moonsaults her. 

Diggs' throat is pulled over the top rope. Haven basement dropkicks her off the apron. Haven hits mounted shots on her and side headlocks her. Haven 2nd rope diving headscissors her and pulls her down backwards for 2. Haven chinlocks her.

Diggs boots and chops her. Diggs leg lariats her twice. Diggs sitout gordbusters Haven for 2. Diggs flips out of a lariat and pele kicks Haven. Diggs top rope moonsaults Haven and pins her.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. Haven hasn't done a lot so far and it was her first match in a few weeks. Diggs looked a little better than usual here and hit her stuff clean. 

Mathers, Holloway, Cap Jones and Hall talk to Aaron Rourke in the back. Timothy Thatcher comes in. He says Lewis is tough and it will be a big test for him. Aaron says he's been tested before and will pass with flying colors. Hall tells Cap he cost him the match. Mathers tells Hall the numbers were against him. Cap asks Thatcher for a match with Ash and Viktor. Thatcher says he doesn't want to reward them but will get it sorted.

Elijah Holyfield does a video. He say he's been waiting on the rematch with Brooks Jensen since he cheated. He says he knows Jensen doesn't see anything wrong with what he did. He says he just sees a punk in him. He says Brooks can watch history while he makes it. He says he's fighting with the Holyfield name on his back all his life. He tells Jensen to lock in as his right fist will knock his lights out.

Harlem Lewis says The Harlem Violence World Tour starts now.

WWE Evolve Title - Aaron Rourke (c) vs Harlem Lewis

Lewis spears him to start. Lewis jackhammers him for 2. Lewis throws him. Lewis misses a corner spear and goes into the post. AR kicks him from the apron. AR diving blockbusters him from the apron to the floor.

AR boots him out of the corner and 2nd rope diving codebreakers him for 2. We go to break and return. Lewis waistlocks AR. Lewis forearms him in the spine. AR upkicks him. AR back elbows him and hits kicks. AR cartwheels on him into a soul foot. Lewis catches him in the corner and hits backbreakers. Lewis bends AR over his knee.

AR spinning ddt's Lewis down. AR upkicks him and pumping knees him. AR running corner euros him twice. AR corner meteora's him. AR split-legged moonsaults him for 2. They trade shots. Lewis facekicks him and is pump kicked. Lewis flying knees him. Lewis low basement dropkicks him for 1. 

AR spinning facekicks him and ushigoroshi's him for 2. They fight on the buckles. Lewis is knocked down from the buckles. AR goes for a molly-go-round off the top and Lewis powerbombs him down. Lewis jackhammers him and pins him.

Thoughts: Whew, Thank God. Finally, Lewis wins the title. It was long overdue and any other outcome would have killed off his character. This was a little closer than I would have liked it to be. I don't think they did a great job of using Lewis' size here as AR was going even with him when he should have been destroyed. I liked how it started and I liked the molly-go-round counter but this really should have just been a whooping.

Overall thoughts: The show was about the usual level quality wise. All 3 matches were atleast acceptable and I liked the opener best. It was nice to see Lewis win the big one finally after a long wait. They seem to be teasing a Hall/Cap Jones feud. I'd give this a higher 5 out of 10 as it was alright enough but nothing great.

We are at the Performance Center. Robert Stone and Blake Howard are on commentary.

Sloane Jacobs is on a phone in the back trying to plan Nikkita Lyons' celebration tonight. She says we will celebrate her as champion with the grandest party ever seen.

Robert Stone and Blake Howard welcome us to the show and are in front of the ring.

The Mog Squad come out. Max says they are on a generational run by looksmaxing and winmaxing. Max talks about their win and CJ Valor says it was more than just a win. Max says they swept their opponents last week. Ball says they are the fastest rising team in Evolve. Max says CJ is the x factor and no one wants to mess with him. Max says "mog real quick" and they all pose. Max says they are taking it all the way.

Timothy Thatcher comes out. He says we will find out if CJ Valor is the x factor right now. Cutler James comes out. 

CJ Valor vs Cutler James

Cutler side headlock takeovers him twice and Valor headscissors him twice. Cutler shoulders him over and side headlocks him. Cutler hits a big spear and Valor rolling armbars him. Cutler fireman's carry takeovers him. He armdrags him then hiptosses him for 2.

Valor dropkicks him from behind. Cutler hits corner spears. Cutler pop up euros him. Cutler misses a corner spear and goes out. The heels pose. We go to break and return. Valor backrolls him into a german. Valor hits punches and sends Cutler shoulder first into the buckles.

Cutler's head is banged off the buckles and Valor dropkicks him. Valor spinebusters him for 2. Valor knees him in the gut and short arm clotheslines him. Valor misses a 2nd rope splash. Cutler lariats him and back elbows him. Cutler swinging backbreakers him. 

Cutler pop up drops him and hits gutbusters. Cutler hits a whirlybird and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. One of my big complaints about the new Evolve guys is that they are smaller guys. Valor looked like a midget compared to Cutler. He absolutely mogged him...and Valor is part of The Mog Squad. Cutler's not exactly Andre the Giant either. I don't know who we were supposed to cheer for either here since both guys are heels that aren't super over to begin with. This was just bad matchmaking.

The Mog Squad go to leave. Timothy Thatcher asks where they are going. He says they are the fastest rising team here and they need to get back in the ring.

The Mog Squad (Santi Rivera and Jacari Ball) vs Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno

Ball takes down RM and rolls him. RM rolls him and release overhead suplexes him. SR wristlocks Dar then Dar fireman's carry takeovers him. Dar hits chest kicks then punches him down for 2. Dar bangs SR's arm off his shoulder. Ball side headlocks Dar. Ball takes an overhead throw and is PK'd for 2. Ball matchka kicks RM out. 

We go to break and return. We see Sloane Jacobs inviting girls to the celebration tonight. Zena Sterling comes in and Sloane tells her to get out. SR hits corner spears on Dar. Ball then hits corner spears. RM boots SR out of the corner. 

Ball jumps off SR's back and Ball corner splashes RM. Ball dropkicks RM for 2. RM hits punches on Ball. RM hits a double clothesline. Dar comes in. He gets offense in on the heels and high kicks Ball down. Dar dropkicks Ball. Dar then puts Ball in an armbar. Ball turns it into a pin attempt.

Ball takes a bridging cutter + springboard dropkick for 2. RM kicks SR off the bottom rope. RM misses a top rope moonsault. RM takes a codebreaker into a german. The ref counts 3 but RM's foot is on the ropes. The Squad think they have it won and go out. RM tope con hilos The Squad. RM springboard dropkicks Ball. Ball takes like a double suplex and is pinned.

Thoughts: The match wasn't anything too special. I don't get why they had The Squad lose here. They went over big last week with 3-0 win in an elimination match and they start off 0-2 here. Why? With that being said, the heels did get screwed as they had a 3 count counted but the match continued.

Max Abrams blames Thatcher for the loss. Thatcher says Max is going to wrestle next week against a guy he attacked in Chazz "Starboy" Hall. 

Aaron Rourke and Harlem Lewis talk in the back. Lewis says he won't let his title opportunity go. He says the title represents his future. AR says he knows his history and he doesn't have to explain. He says Lewis showed him the man he is against The Mog Squad. Lewis says AR made history but every story comes to an end. Lewis says all we have is what we are willing to fight for. Lewis says he's been suppressing anger all his life and he's done suppressing when they fight. AR says he's been beaten down too an he doesn't show it. He says he will show the world he's glamour and grit. They pound fists.

Kale Dixon and his new girl do a photoshoot. They talk about how good they look and take photos. 

Harley Riggins vs Ulka Sasaki

This is Ulka Sasaki's WWE TV debut. He's from NOAH in Japan and he used to do MMA. NOAH basically sent him here to get more seasoning.

Ulka offers a handshake and HR kicks it aray. Ulka hits euros and they shoulderblock battle. Ulka jawbreakers him then shoulders him over. Ulka rolls him into an armbar. HR tilt-a-whirl slams him. 

HR facekicks him and punches him in the corner. HR piefaces him and elbows him over the back of the neck. Ulka sunset flips him. HR blocks a cradle and suplexes him for 2. HR side headlocks him and elbow drops him.

HR is tripped into the buckles. Ulka hits chops and forearms. Ulka spinning forearms him and pumping knees him from the side for 2. HR pop up knees him in the face and pins him.

Thoughts: Ulka got no hype or anything here and he basically looked like a guy they just pulled off the street. The match went alright. Ulka loses in his TV debut for unknown reasons.

Adrianna Rizzo is the new ringside interviewer and she talks to Harley Riggins. She asks where Kam Hendrix is. HR says it's time The Big Rig rides alone. He tells Tate Wilder to go back to medical and says he parks his big rig where he wants.

Elijah Holyfield works out with Noam Dar in the ring. Eli shows him clips of his match with Brooks Jensen. He wants a counter for getting his face pulled into an exposed buckle. Dar say Brooks is a vet and they practice the position. Brooks Jensen walks in and watches without them seeing him. We cut ahead. Eli thanks him and Dar says he can't wait to watch him put the work in. Dar says Brooks sucks.

Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov do a video. They said they started off at security are judo Olympians and are more than that. They says they kicked the door down. They say they are bigger, better and badder than everyone in Evolve. They say their time at security is over and they aren't leaving. Zanov says they will do what they want when they want.

They have a table set up with some decorations for Nikkita Lyons' title celebration. 

Sloane has Gianna Capri and Veronica Haven with her. They bring Nikkita Lyons out. Lyons signs her theme song to the ring. Sloane says no one deserves this more than Lyons. Lyon says she envisioned this moment and makes a crack about more people not being here. Sloane says she should invite more guests out. No one else comes out.

Lyons wants to talk about her next challenger. Sloane kisses more butt. She says Choo's title run was a fluke and Luck got a handout tile shot. 

Wren Sinclair comes out. Lyons tells her its the wrong show. Wren says she got an invitation. She says Evolve is where anything can happen and says she wants to add the Evolve Title to the NQCC. Skylar Rae then comes out. She says Wren has a good point and she should be in contention for the title due to winning LFG. Layla Diggs then comes out.

Sloane complains and says this is a party and everyone's coming out to challenge for titles. Diggs says she's going to be on her own. She says she beat Lyons once and wants to run it back. Diggs and Capri face off, Diggs is hit from behind and all the girls fight. Everyone but Lyons fights to the back. Laynie Luck, with new hair, comes in and AA's Lyons through the table. Luck then holds up the Evolve Women's Title.

Thoughts: It's hard to have wrestlers in two promotions at once and we saw one of the problems with that here. Diggs is aligned with Lyons in NXT, but not in Evolve and Diggs was making challenges at Lyons here. This wasn't much of a celebration and maybe it not being super flashy was part of the point.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't a good episode of Evolve. We had a bunch of random matches. The Mog Squad won big last week then dropped two matches in a row here. They exposed CJ Valor by putting him up against Cutler James. Ulka Sasaki debuted with no hype and lost. Adrianna Rizzo is the new interviewer, which I don't have a problem with as she's a very entertaining person but seems to be injury prone. We then had a celebration for Nikkita Lyons where they forgot that Diggs and Lyons are aligned in NXT and had Diggs challenging her here. I'd give this a 3 out of 10 as this show was bad.

The guest GM for the night, KevOnStage, talks about Evolve Succession. He then hypes up tonight's matches. 

Layla Diggs vs Gianna Capri

Masyn Holiday comes out with LD. She has left WWE already, so we won't see her for much longer. Anya Rune is in the VIP Lounge.

GC side headlock takeovers her. LD armdrags her but GC turns it into a pin attempt. LD boots her then sitout gordbusters her. LD shining wizards her for 2. GC boots LD in the gut, sending her out. GC hits knees to LD's back. GC running back elbows her then backdrops her for 2.

LD hits some shots and leg lariats her. LD step up enzugiri's her.  LD flying pumping knees her in the corner. GC throws her down. Anya Rune does a hadouken pose and says she will punish GC. LD flips out of a lariat and overhead kicks her. LD top rope moonsaults GC and pins her.

Thoughts: The less said about this one the better. Layla hit a bunch of bad strikes and Anya Rune doing hadouken's to GC was really embarrassing. This was bad.

Diggs and Masyn dance. Braxton Cole comes out with the NXT Rule Book and says they can't put him in a No DQ match without his consent. Harlem Lewis then nails Cole from behind to start their match.

No DQ Match - Harlem Lewis vs Braxton Cole

Cole's head is banged off the apron and he is sent into the steps.  We go to break and return. Lewis hits Cole with a baking pan. Lewis puts the pan between the ropes and Cole sends Lewis into it. 

Cole hits Lewis with a cane and breaks it over his back. Cole then mocks him with it. Lewis hits mounted shots on him. Lewis flying knees him. Cole hits him with a cricket bat in the gut. A fan gives Cole a belt and Cole whips Lewis with it. 

Lewis blocks a shot and drops him. Lewis takes off his belt and whips Cole with it. Lewis michinoku drivers him for 2. Cole hits Lewis in the throat with a tennis racket then ddt's him. Cole bridging neckbreakers Lewis on the floor. 

Cole hits Lewis with a pool cue. Lewis is pinned to the post with the cue. Cole slaps him. Lewis breaks the cue and bangs Cole's head off the apron. Cole hits Lewis with a baking pan, then he release suplexes him on it. 

Cole grabs a mop, which he is mocking Lewis with. Cole breaks the mop on Lewis' back. Cole then hits him with 2 mops tied together. Cole bends over and Lewis pulls the mop into Cole's crotch. Lewis hits Cole with the mop. Lewis backs him up in the corner. Cole begs off and Lewis puts the mop end in Cole's face. Lewis jackhammers Cole and pins him.

Thoughts: This was really good. No, wrestling wise it wasn't that memorable, but the story told was fantastic. Cole had been mocking Lewis being a janitor in the build up to this and tried beating him up with a mop. Lewis then got the edge on him with the mop. The mop shots looked great as the wood flew everywhere. Cole did a good job begging off and he was rude to him as he slapped him around and whipped him. This was exactly what it should have been and I enjoyed it a lot. I see good things in Cole's future.

Harlem says the Harlem Violence World Tour isn't gonna top.

Aaron Rourke comes out. He congratulates him and tells the fans to give it up for him. AR says he has to say thank you. He says he didn't forget that Lewis helped him in his title match. He says he was shocked. He says maybe they developed some respect for each other. AR says he wants to thank him by trying to get a title match with him. AR then thanks him. They shake hands. Lewis doesn't let go and looks at the title.

Sloane Jacobs does a promo. She says Nikkita Lyons has give her so much so far by taking her under her win and getting her a win. She says she told her that the universe works in mysterious ways if you don't bend it for yourself. She says Lyons won the Evolve Title and says she will host the greatest championship coronation party in Evolve history for her. She says it will be unforgettable.

Kale Dixon is interviewed by Chuey Martinez. Kale says he left his ego at the door when coming to WWE and it didn't work. He says he thought it would get him things and get people to like him and thought it was stupid. He says he turned down MLB contracts to get here and says he doesn't understand the Evolve culture at all or the fans. He says the fans wouldn't know what a star was if it slapped them in the face. Kale says the wrestlers are shaking in the back as they know he has a rocket strapped to his butt and he's going for stardom. He says the fans are jealous that they don't look talk or dress like him. Kale yells at Chuey for taking the mic away. 

Chuey asks about the woman from last week. Kale says it's his business partner. He says hot people hang out with other hot people. The girl then comes out. She says as soon as she walked out, all eyes turned her way. She says we are looking at the obsession and the moment and Evolve will change forever.

Darkstate's entrance video then cuts this up and Cutler James comes out.

Cutler James vs It's GAL

Gal top rope dropkicks him by surprise during his entrance. CJ is thrown out. Gal puts on his glasses and poses. Gal step up enzugiri's him. CJ wheelbarrow bombs him for 2. Gal's head is banged off the buckles and his face is raked on the top rope. Gal enzugiri's him in the corner and 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Gal casadora codebreakers him. 

CJ swinging backbreakers him. Gal's head is banged off the buckles. CJ throws him then corner lariats him. CJ short arm lariats him for 2. Gal hits shots to the gut. CJ giant swings him then pop up euros him for 2.

CJ abdominal stretches him then Gal reverses it. CJ hiptosses him. Gal dropkicks CJ. CJ gets his leg stuck on the top rope and Gal clips him. Gal hits punches and running lariats him. Gal spinning lariats him for 2. 

Gal superkicks him out of the corner. CJ catches Gal's 2nd rope diving headscissors. CJ buckle bombs him then does a whirlybird. CJ pins him.

Thoughts: I liked it. It took Cutler a long long time but he's finally found his role as a power guy and it's working out. Gal was kind of fun as the face here but he's best suited as a heel. This was all CJ throwing Gal around.

Elijah Holyfield does a promo. He asks if Jensen thought he sent a good message to him. He says Jensen is scared of losing his spot and says Jensen had to cheat to beat him. He says their story is far from finished. He says he comes from a family where if you don't fight, you don't eat. He says he will knock his lights out.

Harley Riggins and Kam Hendrix talk to Timothy Thatcher, who isn't supposed to be here tonight. Kam says Tate Wilder is supposed to be on NXT but he was messing up their match. Harley says it's time to swat Tate out of the air and says he wants a match. Tim's guards of Viktor Zanov and Shido Ash walk in. Tim says he will call Stone and set up the match. 

Tim yells at his guards for what they did last week. He says they are doing the opposite of what he needs and is is relieving them of their jobs. They say to let them wrestle and Tim says no. Shido says they learned from being security that they can do what they want when they want. 

Elimination Tag Match - The Mog Squad (Jacari Ball, CJ Valor and Santi Rivera) vs Cappuccino Jones, Marcus Mathers and Sam Holloway

MM and Santi go at it. Santi shoves him in the corner. MM side headlock takeovers him. Santi headscissors him and side headlock takeovers him. MM slams him into an elbow drop. MM flying corner forearms him then rolls him into a mule kick for 1. 

Santi is slammed and takes a 2nd rope Sam elbow drop. Sam has to tag out as his ribs are hurting. Ball comes in and Cap hurricanrana's him. Cap dropkicks him. Cap crossbodies him over the top and both guys go out. Sam throws Santi crotch first into the post. Max Abrams trips up Cap and Ball dropkicks Cap.

Cap's head is banged off the buckles by Valor. Balor spin kicks him in the gut and euros him. Valor flying shoulders Cap. Valor belly to belly suplexes Cap. 

Cap evades a double team. MM tags in and top rope twisting crossbodies the heels. MM high kicks Ball then cutters him. MM has the heels outside. He 2nd rope moonsaults all 3 of them out there.  Ball pump kicks MM in the ring.

MM is held for a slingblade. MM is pinned. Marcus Mathers is eliminated. Sam facekicks Santi. Sam atomic drops him. Ball top rope diving lariats Sam. Sam takes corner spears. Sam double lariats Santi and Ball. 

Cap comes in and pump kicks Ball. Cap jumping cutters Ball. Cap corner dropkicks Santi then corner lariats Ball. Cap top rope elbow drops Ball for 2. Santi codebreakers Cap. Cap is held and takes a lariat from the side. Cap is pinned by Santi. Cappuccino Jones is eliminated.

Sam is the last man in for his team. He throws the heels around. Valor hits a chaos theory german on him. Sam chokeslams Valor. Ball gutwrench suplexes Sam three times in a row for 2. Ball is caught off the top and Sam sitout chokeslams him. Santi comes in and knees Sam in the gut. Santi hits an angel's wings on him for 2. 

Sam double chokeslams Santi and Valor together. Max gets on the apron and Sam drops him hard with a forearm. Sam suicide dives the heels outside. Sam is popped up into a spear from Valor. Valor pins Sam.

Thoughts: Interesting result here with The Squad winning this without taking any pins. I'm definitely curious about that. Sam and Mathers have been in weird positions here for the last few months as they aren't regulars. Cap has been slowly losing steam also. The Squad mostly won clean here and I don't really see what case the faces have for a rematch. The match was alright but the one-sided nature limited it some.

Overall thoughts: I thought it was a weird show. KevOnStage was supposed to be the guest GM, but he wasn't on this show at all minus in the introduction. Thatcher wasn't supposed to be here but he was. The opener was bad with Anya Rune doing embarrassing stuff in the VIP Lounge. Lewis/Cole was a big hit and was good. That is worth seeing if you've been following along, but if you haven't, you won't get it. Cutler/Gal wasn't bad and Cutler is finding his spot as a powerhouse. The main was one-sided and the heels got a clean sweep on the faces. It was alright but not great. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as we had some good, average, bad and just weird stuff here. I thought this was average overall.

The Mog Squad talk. Max says he wins the Evolve Title tonight and starts Hot Boy Summer. 

Nikkita Lyons and Sloane Jacobs talk. Lyons says she will win her first WWE Title tonight.

Wendy Choo says the title mean everything to her. She says she wants to stand tall with the title tonight.

WWE EVOLVE Women's Title Match - Wendy Choo (c) vs. Nikkita Lyons

Kendal Grey, Zena Serling and Kali Armstrong are at the VIP Lounge.

Choo armdrags NL off the lock up. NL knees her in the gut and side headlocks her. NL side headlock takeovers her then Choo side headlocks her. NL legsweeps her. Choo headscissors her on the mat. Choo thesz presses her and hits mounted shots. NL then hits mounted shots. 

Choo basement dropkicks her. Choo headscissors her from the bottom rope. Choo basement dropkicks her off the apron. Choo cannonballs her off the apron. Sloane Jacobs distracts Choo and NL spinning high kicks her. We go to break and return.

Choo cradles her for 2. Choo gets hit in the gut and NL fisherman suplexes her. NL split butt drops her chest. NL facekicks Choo. Choo bridging ddt's her. They trade forearms. Choo hits chops and forearms. Choo hits lariats. Choo hits a pepsi twist lariat. Choo forward handspring forearms her and running neckbreakers her for 2. Choo rolls her up for 2. Choo goes for the dirtnap. NL drops her backwards. 

Choo full nelson slams NL for 2. NL rolls Choo into the steps. They get on the buckles and NL 2nd rope michinoku drivers her for 2. Choo hurrianrana's her for 2. NL drops her with a punch. NL gets on the 2nd rope and Choo powerbombs her down. Choo then tries another dirt nap.

Sloane Jacobs puts the title in the ring and gets on the apron. NL taps out and Choo stupidly lets go of it. Laynie Luck comes down and hits Sloane. NL has the title and Choo rolls her up for 2. NL hits Choo with some kind of crystal and pin kicks her in the face. NL wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. Choo had a lot of trouble getting on her back and they had a few moments where they just rolled around. There wasn't a great story to this or anything and I was just not impressed by this.  The win gives Lyons some credibility and I guess we will see if the title helps her hit her potential.

We get a video on the Evolve Men's and Women's Titles.

KevonStage is interviewed. He says he's excited to be the guest GM next week. It's GAL interrupts and says Kev needs him to show him the ropes around here. GAL brings up Cutler James and Kev sets up a match between them for next week. 

Kale Dixon vs. Kai Kavari

Kale hasn't been doing anything since his Chase U run ended. He's back to being a heel here, which is how he started on Level Up. I think this is Kale's Evolve debut.

KD shoves him from behind on the lock up. Kai then does it to him. Kai shoulders him over and hammerlocks him. KD lifting reverse ddt's him. KD forearms and boots him in the corner. KD short arm lariats him.

KD drops him with a forearm. KD hits knees to the body and superkicks him for 2. KD chops him and sleepers him. Kai does a springboard back elbow. Kai lariats and back elbows him. Kai running shoulders him over.

Kai dropkicks him in the corner. A new girl comes out and Kai is distracted. KD spinning forearms Kai and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't anything too special. Kai's a very basic wrestler so far but his strikes look okay. KD won here which was good but it wasn't a fantastic showing. The new blonde girl honestly was the most interesting part about this.

The new girl claps for Kale after.

We get a video on the new Russian bodybuilder girl. She talks about how she's death itself and how Evolve will fear the unknown. She says she's already here. She says you can't defeat or plan for the unknown. 

The Mog Squad come out for the main event. KevOnStage says he's aura farming and says all they have on him is hair. He says he'd look like them if he wasn't bald. He says the next week's match with The Mod Squad will be a trios elimination match.

Harlem Lewis is in the VIP Section.

AR boots Max in the corner then Max boots him back. AR hits chops on Max and sends him into the buckles. AR plancha's The Squad outside. Max bangs AR's head off the apron.

AR basement dropkicks him. AR hits punches on Max then chops him. The heels distract AR and eventually sweep him on the apron. Max headhunters AR for 2. Chuey interviews Harlem Lewis mid match. Lewis says AR is tough but AR has never beaten him. He says his sights on him when he's done with Cole.

Max suplexes AR. We go to a random break and return. Max top rope dropkicks him for 2. Max clubs on him. AR electric chair drops him on his chest. AR corner uranage's him then shotgun dropkicks him. Max flying euros him. AR 2nd rope powerslams him for 2. 

AR stomps him. AR misses a corner charge. AR kicks him of the ropes. Max neckbreakers AR while he sits on the top buckle. They trade punches. AR spin kicks him in the gut. Max pump kicks him and AR pump kicks him. AR spin kicks him in the face and superkicks him. Both men go down. 

Max corner spears him. AR high kicks the ref when Max ducks. AR spinning facekicks Max but the ref is down and can't count. The Mog Squad get in the ring then Harlem Lewis gets in the ring. Braxton Cole trips Lewis and they fight outside. AR hits shots on The Squad. CJ Valor hits AR with the Evolve Title. Max then gets a  2 count on AR.

WWE ID 1.0 come in and fight The Squad outside. AR 2nd rope gordbusters Max. AR hits a molly go round and pins Max.

Thoughts: It was an an average to acceptable match only. There was a lot of shenanigans going on. I was surprised to see Rourke win. It got a lot of time. I would have had Max win here.

The Mog Squad and WWE ID 1.0 tease a fight in the ring. Tim Thatcher's security guards nail The Squad. The guards offer handshakes then nail Jones and Mathers and drop them with moves. I would assume that means they will be wrestling soon here.

Overall thoughts: It's Evolve. There's a lot of trainees and less experienced wrestlers here and in-ring quality is always going to have a limit to it. This was not as big of a deal as prior Succession's as this one was in the Evolve Arena and the not the NXT Arena. Choo/Lyons got enough time but had some sloppy moments and wasn't that good. Kai/Kale was so-so. The main was average for the most part and had a lot of shenanigans during and after. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was an average show overall.

Note - Masyn Holiday quit WWE today. I didn't see a lot in her as she wasn't that great at anything, though she wasn't awful. This brand is running low on girls though after that big firing spree earlier in the year.

Blake Howard and Peter Rosenberg are on commentary.

Timothy Thatcher is in his office. He says it's Succession 3 in one week. He says it's Kam/Harley vs Dar/Moreno tonight in the main and he runs down the rest of the card. Wendy Choo comes in. She wants to sign her Succession contract and does. Choo says Nikkita is a lion she can't tame and it ends at Succession. She says she has her eyes on Rune vs Zena tonight and says Anya will win tonight. Tim says we will have to see who wins.

We see someone named KevOnStage arrive and look at the Performance Center.

Elijah Holyfield vs Brooks Jensen

They lock up and BJ backs him up on the ropes. BJ face shoves him and Eli punches him in the gut. Eli drops him with a gut shot. BJ side headlocks him then shoulders him over. BJ knees him in the gut and clubs him. BJ hits forearms.

Eli hits punches and drops BJ. Eli is pulled throat first into the 2nd rope. BJ shining wizards him. BJ hits crossface shots then back elbows him for 2. BJ chinlocks him. BJ hits punches.

BJ faceshoves him and forearms him. Eli shoulders him over then flying shoulders him. Eli hits corner lariats. BJ pulls a turnbuckle pad off and Eli spinebusters him. Eli hits mounted corner punches. BJ pulls him down face first on the exposed buckle and pins him.

Thoughts: It was mostly punches. The punches looked fine though. The finish was a little weak in a land where canadian destroyers are kicked out of though. Eli's going to run into the problem all boxer types run into in wrestling - punches are what most people do for offense and it's hard to make the big punch at the end look special when he punched the guy 20 times already. This needed more time.

Chazz "Starboy" Hall vs Tristan Angels

TA knees him in the gut. Star flips out of a snapmare then armdrags him. Star walks up the buckles and corkscrew diving armdrags him. Star dropkicks him in the corner. Star flips out of a monkey flip. 

TA double throat thrusts him. Star sits up top and TA step up knees him. TA bangs Star's face off the mat and buckles. Star hits shots to the gut. Star upkicks him then he gets dropped throat first on the top rope. TA lariats him.

TA chinlocks him. Star jawbreakers him. TA blocks a sunset flip. Star 2nd rope diving lariats him. Star hits a standing shiranui. Star standing corkscrew moonsaults him for 2. Star hurricanrana's TA over the top. Star asai moonsaults him outside.

Star gets a 2 count on him inside. Star's head is banged off the post. TA deadlift superplexes him in for 2. Star ddt's him off a powerbomb attempt. Star misses a top rope ssp. TA has him in the powerbomb position and flips him on his chest. TA does a knee curbstomp and wins.

Thoughts: It was fine. They had the idea right with Star doing his flying as the underdog and TA doing basic heel offense.

Tristan is asked what's next by Chuey Martinez. TA says he just extinguished Starboy's light. He says he is the example of success and over-accomplishment. He says he's the definition of excellence and class and says it's another ballgame when he steps into the picture.

Zena Sterling talks. She says she's so excited to be back here. She says it's been a long journey and says the world will see the best of her.

Anya Rune does an inset promo. She says she didn't fair well the last time she competed. She says she has to stay determined and will prove herself and make everyone notice her in everyone's favorite anime.

Zena Sterling vs Anya Rune

AR wristlocks her. Zena takes her down for 1 and armlocks her. AR headscissors her on the mat. AR flips her by the arm and sliding euros her in the back of the neck. AR back elbows her otu of the corner.

AR goes up top and slips and falls down on purpose. Zena stomps on her and elbow drops her. Zena suplexes her. AR cradles her for 2. They double clothesline each other down. 

They trade shots. AR knees her in the face and punches her. AR running corner euros her and high kicks her. AR makes Zena clothesline herself with her own arm. AR tries to go up top but slips again. she then knocks off the exposed buckle on accident. AR crossbodies her. Zena spots the exposed buckle and sends AR into it. Zena fireman's carry side slams her and wins.

Thoughts: Zena had an almost army like outfit on and was definitely more of a heel while AR was the face. This was all about AR trying to go up top and slipping when she tried. Them re-using the exposed buckle from earlier was clever. This was something different, but it was probably average.

Gianna Capri comes in the ring after. She yells at Rune and says she doesn't belong here. She says she's embarrassing her. Layla Diggs and Masyn Holiday come out. Gianna tries a cheap shot on Rune but Diggs and Masyn block her.

We see a taped interview between Blake Howard and Harlem Lewis. Lewis is hitting the heavy bag and said he considered going pro. Lewis says he's one week away from being cleared after Braxton Cole's chairshots. He says Blake is walking into a minefield. He says he was afraid he might be done with wrestling. Lewis says he did have to mop floors before and says he has to make it in WWE for his family. He says he needs the Evolve Title to make it to NXT, Raw, SD and Mania. He says Cole is an entitled trust fund baby. He says he wants Cole in a No DQ match when he is cleared. Blake asks for boxing stories and we cut away. 

Timothy Thatcher has Nikkita Lyons sign her contract for the match with Choo. Lyons is with Sloane Jacobs. She says Choo inspired her to be nothing like her. She says it's written in the stars for her to be the most gifted Evolve champ. KevOnStage walks in and puts over Tim's wrestling career. Kev asks if they watch his shows. Sloane says Kevin should get tips from Lyons on going viral. Kev tells her to focus on Wendy Choo and says not to cheat. Sloane says Lyons doesn't need his advice. The girls leave. Tim says he has a scouting trip in 2 weeks and asks Kev to be a Guest GM. Kev agrees and says he wants a No DQ Match between Braxton Cole and Harlem Lewis on that show.

2 new wrestlers will arrive next week and they imply it'll be a male and a woman.

Kam Hendrix and Harley Riggins vs Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno

HR side headlocks RM and boots him over. RM boots him from the ropes and headscissors him into the ropes. RM dropkicks him. Dar and Kam get in. Kam goes for a test of strength and is kicked. Kam back elbows him. Dar is shouldered over. 

Dar hits chest kicks on Kam and drops him with a hard forearm. Kam sideslams him for 2. RM overhead suplexes Har. Kam and HR end outside. RM spaceman plancha's them. RM boots HR out of the corner. Kam bangs RM's leg off the ropes. HR stomps RM's leg into the mat.

We go to break and return. Kam knee breakers RM then rolls into a lariat on him for 2. RM's tag is blocked and HR forearms him in the spine. Dar is hot tagged in. He hits flying forearms on Kam and high kicks him. 

Kam corner lariats Dar and Dar basement dropkicks him. Dar rebound germans Kam. Dar blocks a showtime kick with an ankle lock. RM ankle locks RM at the same time. RM and HR go at it. HR drops him with a superkick to the shin. RM takes a TKO + showtime kick combo for 2.

Dar hits forearms on Kam and Kam spinebusters him. HR spears RM for 2. HR grabs a trash can outside. Tate Wilder comes out and takes it from him. Har misses a whisper in the wind. Har takes a spinning back elbow + legsweep combo and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was kind of fun. Dar's offense looked good and Kam had a good showing. I didn't expect much out of this but it worked out.

Chuey Martinez is there for the contract signing backstage with Max Abrams and Aaron Rourke. AR says WWE ID was made to give them the resources to success and he's happy to be part of the first class. He says he became a great wrestler because of it. Max laughs. AR says Max knocked the title out of his hands and he should have seen who he was then. Max says everything he does is calculated. He asks if AR remembers when Sean Legacy snubbed him in his goodbye speech where he didn't mention him. AR says it was hilarious. 

Max says he took it personally. Max says there's nobody in his league but The Vanity Project, and they are in NXT. He calls everyone else a charity project. AR says it's all about making history with his title. Max says his history will be when people ask who Max beat to become the Evolve champ. Max says AR's family says they are proud of him but they know he's a joke. AR gets mad, they get in each other's faces and security breaks it up. Max slaps him on the head and the show ends as we go to like a test screen.

Thoughts: It was a decent segment. The 2 things Max brought up were cool callbacks and did feel like teases towards something else. 

Overall thoughts: It was the usual Evolve. There was nothing great but nothing awful either. Elijah/Jensen had some good punches but it needed more time. Hall/Angels was fine. Zena/Rune was something different but still average. The main was okay and the segment to close the show wasn't bad. I'd give this a slight 6 out of 10 as they wrestling and non-wrestling segments were alright enough to make this a decent show.
