Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/aew-collision-8222026.html

We are in Glasgow, Scotland. Tony Schiavone and Excalibur are on commentary.

Mercedes Mone vs Isla Dawn

This is a random one as ID never makes AEW TV.

Mone backs her up in the corner. Mone gets in her face and ID hits leg kicks. ID boots her in the knee and Mone backcrackers her. Mone sits on her neck on the ropes. Mone hits corner lariats and codebreakers her arm. Mone pendulum double knees her in the corner for 2.

Mone throws her down backwards and boots her in the face a few times. ID knees her in the face. ID hits forearms and lariats. ID flying knees her in the corner and backdrops her for 2. Mone sunset bombs her into the buckles.

Mone corner meteora's her and hits a money maker. Mone then crossfaces her and submits her.

Thoughts
: It was all squash here. Dawn's from here and it sucks that she got completely squashed.

Willow comes out and kicks one after. Mone runs. Willow has a hand cast on. She says she will be d*mned if she lets Mone take the title from her. She says she's her AEW Women's champ. She says she's walking in with her smile and title and walking out of it still smiling.

Jon Moley and Shafir do a promo from after Dynamite. Mox sings. He says Nigel comes home with lightning in a bottle and asks what he will do with it. He says Nigel is 3 seconds away from making his dreams come true. Mox says he likes happy movies. He says the real world is scary enough. He says there's a fantasy world where Nigel wins and the real world where he rips his leg off and feeds it to his family dog. He says he knows what he is capable of and how quick he can make the 3 seconds come and go. He says Nigel won't get him before he gets Nigel. Mox says man isn't free until he has nothing to prove, gain or hide. He asks which one of them that describes. He says the clock is running down and Nigel better make sure his hand isn't shaking.

Chris Jericho, Mike Bailey and Komander vs Tomasso Ciampa, Mark Davis and Nick Wayne

Don Callis is on commentary for this.

Ciampa stalls outside. TC and CJ lock up and let go. CJ backs him up in the corner. All 6 men get in the ring and fight. Mike boots Nick outside and kicks him in the back. TC bangs Mike's head off the apron. TC's head is banged off the commentary table.

Everyone fights outside. CJ is thrown in and he baseball slides TC. Mike triangle asai moonsaults Mark and Kom tope con hilos Nick. We go to PiP break and return. Nick boots CJ and CJ death valley drivers him.

Mike comes in and kicks the buckle into Nick's ace. Mike boots Nick out of the corner. Mike 2nd rope double dropkicks his opponents. Mike spin kicks Nick in the gut and axe kicks him. Mike chest kicks Nick down. Mike running ssp's Nick. TC and Mark stomp on Mike.

The faces hit top rope punches on the heels. The faces then hit hurricanrana's. Mike falcon arrows Nick. Mike top rope ssp's Nick for 2. Nick flying euros Mike then hits mounted shots on him. TC stomps Mike's foot and punches him. TC boots Mike in the face and Mark sentons Mike. We go to PiP break, full break and return.

Mike dropkicks Mark. TC and Nick argue and shove each other. Mike gets away from the heels and tags Kom in. Kom rope walks, flips into the ropes and armdrags Nick. Kom double jump springboard diving headscissors Mark. Kom ddt's TC.

The faces all hit springboard dropkicks/kicks on the heels. Mike and CJ do dives out. Kom rope walk corkscrew dives TC.  Kom walks up the ropes and splashes TC. CJ crabs Mark. Kom and Mike then do crabs on their opponents. Mark enzugiri's CJ down.

CJ hits chops on TC and TC punches back. TC forearms Nick down when CJ moves. CJ spinning back elbows TC. Mark lariats CJ. Kom bodyscissors Mark over the top rope.

Mike superkicks Nick. Nick high kicks him. Mike cradles him for 2. Mike standing spanish fly counters Nick and pins him.

Thoughts:
This went too long and was a bit of a chore to get through. The work was fine and Jericho's team really tried here, but it dragged. Jericho flew around a bit more than usual and I liked their dive sequences here.

We get a video on Divine Dominion vs The Brawling Birds

The Dogs (David Finlay, Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors) vs Ronan King, Judas Grey and Landon Riley

One of the jobbers is dressed up like a goth woman.

The jobbers are thrown out and DF stomps one in the corner. DF running euros one of them then suplex throws him. Gabe brainbusters a jobber on the floor. Gabe gets hit by the jobber dressed like a woman and slaps him. Clark then punches that jobber. That jobber is then thrown into the post.

Landon tries to fight off the 3 heels then is dropped with a Gabe forearm. Landon takes a double pop up drop and Clark spears him. Landon takes a Gabe piledriver. DF hits overkill on Landon and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was all squash here. The Dogs looked good though and did what they were supposed to do.

Landon is thrown into the rails and piledriven on the floor after.

We get a video on Mercedes Mone vs Willow.

Nigel McGuinness does a promo. He says he will finally get to make it to Wembley. He says if he fails and doesn't take the title from Mox, it'll haunt him forever. He says he knows Mox is the favorite. He says he will steal the title from him and says the gold is coming home with him.

Adam Page, Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn & Jay White) & Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) vs. The Demand (Bishop Kaun, Ricochet & Toa Liona) & The Lethal Twist (Blake Christian, Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson)

Lethal got pinned here after taking Page's buckshot lariat and White's bladerunner. It got a lot of time. The action was pretty fast times and there was more than 2 people in the ring for most of this. We had a funny little botch session going on at one point. Lee Johnson took some weird back body drop out and landed bad. Blake tried a handspring corkscrew kick but ended up just punching White in the face on accident and Page slipped on a triangle springboard lariat. Due to how many people were involved, we really didn't see all that much of a lot of people and it probably could have gotten double the time. What we got was alright though.

The Dogs jump the faces after then the heels join in. The Death Riders then join in on the fight. The Conglomeration then join in.

Skye Blue vs. Harley Cameron

They said HC got injured months ago in a match vs SB. This is HC's return.

SB Throws her down backwards. HC knees her in the gut and SB facekicks her down. SB hits mounted shots. SB leg drops HC on the ropes. HC flying neckbreakers SB. HC armdrag rolls her and SB boots her away. HC knees her in the face then dropkicks her through the ropes.

SB's head is banged off the apron. HC is tripped into the steps. We go to PiP break, full break and return. SB superkicks HC's head into the top buckle. SB sitout powerbombs HC or 2.

HC hits a forearm flurry on SB. SB superkicks her. HC headbutts her and is superkicked again. HC crucifix bombs SB but SB no sells it and running knees her. Julia Hart comes in and puts a belt in the ring. HC pulls it away from SB. SB then is handed another belt and she hits HC with it. SB pins HC.

Thoughts:
Having HC return here (instead of at Wembley) and lose was dumb. Maybe it'll lead somewhere, but it was dumb either way. They did their moves here but there wasn't much logic otherwise. What we got didn't go that bad though.

Maya World does a promo at Wembley. She says Persephone embarrassed her when she hit her with the title. She says she will beat her @ss for free and challenges her to the All-In Buy-In.

The Don Callis Family comes out and Don does the intro for Kevin Knight. Don says he watched Kevin barbecue Darby last week. He says Kevin has grown into the man he imagined he could become. Kevin says Darby was asking how far he would take it and Kevin says we saw he is willing to go all the way. Kevin says he sent Darby to the ER 3 times and says it will be no different at Wembley. He asks where Darby is. Someone in a hood then attacks Kevin. It's Steven Borden, Sting's on.

Don points out that it is Sting's on. Don says he's interested in him and says he could be better than his dad.  He says it won't happen if he listens to Darby. Don says he's been scouting him and says The Family is a star family. He says he breeds champions. Don says he thinks Borden came to join The Family. He says there's no way he came out here to get his @ss kicked. Borden says he came out here to say Darby will win Sunday and take the title. Kevin Knight hits Steve with the title and leaves him laying. Kyle Fletcher then comes out as The Family leaves.

Konosuke Takeshita vs The Beast Mortos

Kyle Fletcher is on commentary.

They shoulder battle. They shove each other and lariat battle. KT facekicks him and flying lariats him. KT hits mounted corner punches. Mort boots him out of the corner and slingblade facebusters him. KT goes to slingshot and is headbutted down. Mort tornillo topes him. Mort backbreakers him. We go to PiP break and return.

Mort headbutts him in the chest and Mort is dumped over the top. KT tope con hilos him. KT then stares down at Kyle Fletcher on commentary. Kyle tells him to get in the ring and holds his title up.

KT flying knees Mort in the corner and northern lights suplexes him. Mort headbutts him in the chest. KT blue thunders him for 2. Mort spears him. KT then knees him into the face and both go down. Mort hits some strikes and crucifix bombs him. Mort pops him up and takes a crucifix bomb. KC falcon arrows him for the win.

Thoughts
: It was a much shorter and safer match than you would expect between these two. I would say it was due to KT being on All In and not wanting to get injured. What we got was full of action and fine, but it was about half the match they would normally have. And maybe that's for the better. KT won as expected.

Kyle Fletcher runs in after and hits KT with his title belt. KF hits mounted shots on him and pulls his hair. Kyle brainbusters him on the title. Kyle then poses with the title.

Overall thoughts: The opener was random and I didn't love Isla getting squashed at home. The work was fine in Jericho's match, but it went long and was a bit of a chore to get through. The Dogs won a squash. We had a 12-man tag which was a bit hard to keep track of. What we got was alright but a match with this many people needs a half hour at minimum and it didn't get it. Skye/Harley hasn't that bad. Mortos/Takeshita was a much more toned down version of the match they would usually have. They didn't overdo it but also didn't have a classic. It was acceptable. I would give this a 6 out of 10 overall as the work was okay but with it being the go home show, there were a lot of restrictions and that limited things. The show was acceptable overall but not much more.
