AEW Collision 4/25/2026 Playoff Palooza

We are in Portland, OR. Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and Nigel McGuinness are on commentary.

The Conglomeration talks. Kyle says it's a good night to defend their trios titles. FTR come in. Stoke says they will lose the titles tonight.

FTR come out. Cash says Copeland's challenge is interesting. He says Cope saying that him and Cage won't team again if they lose is enticing to them. Cash accepts the challenge. Dax says nobody wants Cope and Cage here. Dax agrees to a New York Street Fight. Dax says it needs to be an I-Quit match as well. Dax says the ball is in their court now. 

AEW World Trios Title Match - The Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong) (c) vs. Don Callis Family (Andrade El Idolo, Hechicero & Lance Archer)

Hech and Kyle go at it. Kyle trips him into a leg lock. Kyle side headlocks him. Hech chinlocks him on the ropes then dragon screws him over the middle rope. Kyle bangs Hech's arm off his shoulder then boots him away. Hech is double teamed in the corner. Hech takes a backbreaker + elbow drop.

OC backs off from Lance and tags out. RS hits chops on Lance then Lance shoulders him over. OC and Idolo get in. Idolo stops him from putting his hands in his pockets. OC hits weak shin kicks and takes Idolo's belt. OC pulls Idolo's pants down then dropkicks him with his hands in his pockets.

Kyle hits mounted corner punches on Idolo. RS then does the same. OC then hits one punch. Lance runs over Kyle outside. Hech sends RS into the commentary table. Idolo lariats OC. We go to PiP break and return.

OC boots the heels out of the corner. OC 2nd rope diving double headscissors Idolo and Hech. Lance is pulled over the top. Kyle 2nd rope flying knees Hech. Kyle chest kicks Idolo down then hits a legsweep. Kyle and RS hit corner attacks. RS then throws OC into his opponents.

RS hits chops on Hech. RS facekicks Hech out of the corner. RS olympic slams Hech for 2. Hech step up knees RS in the corner. Idolo corner meteora's Kyle for 2. Idolo suplexes Kyle. OC comes in and Idolo blocks his spinning ddt. OC cradles him for 2. OC stunners Idolo.

Lance crossbodies OC. Lance chokeslams Kyle onto RS. Lance black hole slams OC for 2. RS dropkicks Idolo through the ropes. Lance takes shots from the faces then OC orange punches him. Lance takes a high/low. OC then pins Lance.

Thoughts: This was just classic AEW here. OC of course had to pick up the pin and it had to be on the biggest guy in the match in Lance Archer. This was a title match but OC still had time to screw around and the heels were unable to do anything about it as usual. I didn't like this and it was the usual OC crap.

We see clips from after Dynamite. The Death Riders carry Will Ospreay to Mox in the back. Shafir puts a towel around Will's neck and pulls. Mox asks Will what he's trying to accomplish other than breaking his neck. Mox asks what he's chasing. Mox says Will doesn't know the answers to that anymore. He says he saw Will for the first time 7 years ago.

Mox says Will's body will break eventually. He says Will can try to run through the brick wall but it won't go anywhere. He says if he looks and sees there's a door, he can walk right through it. Mox tells him to take dominion over his mind and turn it into a weapon. Mox hands him a chair. He says he can be like everyone else or he can become everything he was meant to be. Mox then lays on the floor with his hands behind his back and wants Will to chair him. Will walks away and doesn't.  

The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz) & The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta) & The Dogs (Clark Connors & David Finlay)

Dez is jumped from behind by the heels. Dez's partners are all thrown out and Dez takes corner attacks. A Buck is caught off a crossbody then tilt-a-while backbreakered. A Buck takes running corner attacks. Garcia then takes running corner attacks. Grcia takes a slingshot codebreaker into a double stomp on the back. Claudio takes superkicks and a double stomps to the back. A Buck then corkscrew dives the heels outside.

Claudio sharpshooters Zach. Garcia puts a sharpshooter on at the same time. The Bucks then do slingshot sunset flips into sharpshooters. Dez spinning ddt's Yuta. Garcia takes a flipping neckbreaker onto a Buck's knee. Claudio double lariats The Bucks. Dez koppo kicks Claudio.

Dez is crotched up top. Yuta brainbusters Dez. Dez is pounced into the ropes by Clark. We go to PiP break, full break and return. Zach comes in and hits shots on Garcia. He pulls Garcia down and germans him. Zach enzugiri's Yuta. Reed superkicks Yuta. Yuta takes a codebreaker off the ropes then is slingshotted into a neckbreaker.

Reed superkicks Yuta. Reed flips out of a german. Reed kips up into a cutter on Yuta. A Buck hits shots on DF and Clark. He walks up the buckles and does an armdrag + headscissors combo on them. DF, Garcia and Clark take northern lights suplexes. Yuta and Garcia get northern lights suplexed at the same time.

Claudio takes superkicks. Clark takes a sunset flip german from the Bucks. Clark takes a 5 person kick. A Buck top rope elbows Clark then the other top rope swantons him. Reed does a 450 and Dez corkscrew swantons Claudio. Claudio giant swings Dez into a Yuta dropkick.

The Bucks hit stereo bulldogs. The Bucks miss a BTE trigger. DF uranage backbreakers a Buck. Zach handspring jumping knees DF then crossbodies him over the top. Claudio gorilla press throws one Buck onto the other. Reed kips up and jumping kicks Claudio. Reed jumps over the top and cutters Claudio onto people. Dez top rope moonsaults outside. 

Zach 2nd rope diving cutters DF. Zach takes a suplex + flying spear and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was all spots here but at least they kept them moving and hit them clean here. I was alright with this as they could cover some of the selling issues and didn't overdo it so much.

Shida, Mina, Harley and Statlander are interviewed. Mina tells Kris and Shida to apologize for what they said about Harley. Shida says Harley is not on their level and never has been. She says they will do what she couldn't and beat Kross and Bayne. Harley joins in on Mina and Shida talking Japanese. Kris leaves as Mina and Shida argue.

Kris Statlander vs. B3CCA

Becca hits Kris from behind and pounds on her. Becca boots her in the corner. Kris overhead kicks her. Kris catapults her hard into the 2nd buckle. Kris running euros Becca then Becca pump kicks her. Becca knee lifts and superkicks her. Becca then top rope dropkicks her over the middle rope.

Becca hits forearms on Kris. Kris forearms her back. Becca flatliners her. Becca then grounded headscissors her. Kris hits staturday night fever on her and wins.

Thoughts: It was a quick one but not really a squash. Becca got a lot in and looked decent doing it. This wasn't bad.

Shida waits for Kris after and Kris walks past her. 

Megan Bayne and Lena Kross are interviewed. Kross asks why they should be worried about Kris and Shida. Meg says it's another thrown together tag team who thinks they have a chance.  Meg says it's not a challenge but their fate.

Rush vs. Adam Priest

Rush kicks away a handshake. They mat wrestler and AP mocks Rush. They shove each other. They trade chops. AP dropkicks him. Rush hits a big forearm. Rush stomps him in the corner. Rush hits headbutts. Rush boots him in the face then poses.

We go to PiP break, full break and return. AP top rope legdrops him for 2. Rush rebound germans him and low flying knees him. AP is sent into the rails. Rush stomps him outside. Rush stomps and forearms him in the corner. Rush does his mess with the bull corner basement dropkick and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout and mostly a squash with Rush winning as expected. AP did fine as the underdog and it went longer than I expected.

Rush foot chokes him after and tells him on the mic that if you mess with the bell, you get the horns.

Konosuke Takeshita does a promo. He says if Okada wants to face him at Double or Nothing, he will be happy to take his title, b!tch.

Kazuchika Okada does a promo. He says he doesn't like, fear or respect Takeshita. He says he will lose at Double or Nothing.

Alex Windsor & Persephone vs. Triangle Of Madness (Skye Blue & Thekla)

Alex and SB push each other. SB pulls her down backwards and boots her in the face. They trade forearms and chops. Alex shoulders her over. Pers hits chops on Thek. Thek and SB are sent into each other. Pers tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Thek.

SB takes chops from both opponents. SB superkicks Thek in the face. SB is double team double chopped down. Pers basement dropkicks SB for 2. Thek trips SB. Thek double stomps Alex's back off the apron. We go to PiP break and return.

Thek hanging headscissors Alex over the top. SB dropkicks Alex for 2. Alex lariats SB. Pers comes in and drops Thek twice. Pers fallaway slams Thek. Pers backrolls SB for 2. Alex hits a double lariat. Pers top rope double crossbodies her opponents. Alex lariats SB for 2. 

SB superkicks Alex. Pers blocks a code blue. Thek spears Pers. Alex blue thunders Thek. Pers germans SB for 2. Alex and Thek fall out. Pers 2nd rope dropkicks SB. Julia Hart comes in and spits mist in Pers' eyes. SB hits a code blue on Pers and pins her.

Thoughts: It was an acceptable bout here. Everyone hit their stuff clean and they did what they could with it. I think Jamie Hayter is injured so The Brawling Birds are done for the meantime.

AEW National Title Match - Jack Perry (c) vs. El Clon

JP shoulders Clon over. JP reverse monkey flips him and dropkicks him. JP tries to slingshot plancha him but is knee'd in the face. Clon ties him up in the ringskirt and pounds on him. Clon is sent into the post. JP wraparound kicks Clon around the post.

JP top rope dropkicks Clon. JP corner lariats him and side slam sitout powerbombs him for 2. Clon hits a corner lariat. We go to PiP break and return.

They trade shots. Clon step up enzugiri's him. JP hits a shiranui for 2. Jack hits a canadian destroyer for 2. Clon spin kicks him in the back of the head and flips him into a knee to the face for 2. Clon overhead kicks him and JP hurricanrana's him for 2. Clon tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him then hits a made in Japan variation for 2.

Clon plants off the top into a moonsault but JP gets his knees up. JP germans him then low flying knees him. JP pins him.

Thoughts: Jack wasn't losing here and it was only a question of how long it took. Clon got a little too fancy with his offense here with too many flips and I wasn't a big fan of this.

Willow Nightingale does a promo. She says she's known as the comeback killer. She says Shida, Aminata and Kamille found out about her nickname. She says she's the TBS champ and she's at your service.

Samoa Joe and Hook are being filmed by Shibata. Hook says he's been recruiting. Anthony Bowens comes in. He wants an answer on whether he's in The Opps or not. Hook says he needs to settle down. Hook says there's no more vacancies in The Opps. Joe says it looks they found their newest one. Joe welcomes him and tells him to pull his weight. Hook says he passed the test and says welcome.

Thoughts: I don't know how Bowens is going to fit into this group, but it's something different and maybe it'll spark some kind of new character out of him. Whatever happened to Max Caster?

Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) vs. The Demand (Bishop Kaun, Ricochet & Toa Liona)

MVP is on commentary. Ric teases fighting CJ but tags out. All 6 men get in and fight. They all pair off in the corners and chop each other. Ric is back body dropped to the floor. CJ baseball slides Ric. SB step up knees Toa. Bobby neckbreakers Kaun then lariats him over the top. SB pendulum ddt's Toa. CJ top rope plancha's outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Ric chinlocks CJ. CJ chops and elbows him. CJ back body drops Ric. Kaun bearhugs CJ. Bobby tags in. He hits shots on teh heels and throws Ric in. Bobby lariats Kaun then corner spears Ric and Kaun. Bobby lifting flatliners Ric then twisting drops Kaun from his shoulder for 2.

Bobby lariats Toa over the top. SB germans Kaun three times. Ric is caught off the top and takes a big release german. Bobby corner spears Ric. Bobby is pulled out then Toa samoan drops him on the floor. CJ and Ric go up top. CJ hits punches then top rope hurricanrana's him down. Kaun drops CJ with a big punch.

Kaun goes up top, SB walks up the buckles and overhead belly to belly suplexes him. Bobby slips and spears Kaun. CJ codebreakers Ric for 2. Ric backslides CJ for 2 then pumping knees him. SB pop up drops Ric. Bobby spears Kaun. Toa pounces Bobby. Toa misses a corner splash. 

CJ rolls Ric and crabs him. Toa helps Ricb reak it. The GoA are sent into the rails. Ric low blows CJ. Ric asai moonsaults him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a good match with a lot of action and everyone working hard. Bobby slipped on a spear and didn't look 100% after. CJ was really trying to get over as a face here while The Hurt's just do their thing and automatically get cheered without even trying. I was a bit surprised to see the heels win. 

Overall thoughts: The show was heavy on the in-ring action as it often is. The trios title match had the usual issues OC's matches have with him goofing around. We had an interesting segment with Mox trying to get Will to bash his brains in and Will refusing to do so. The 10-man tag was fine. Kris/B3CCA was more even than expected and it worked. Rush/Priest was mostly a squash but Priest did okay. Persephone's match was acceptable. I didn't love Perry/Clon. The main was good here. It had the usual issues with randomness but we had a few more stars here than usual. I liked it overall and would give it a 6 out of 10. It was okay.
