Rose Girls Pro-Wrestling 3/1/2026 Rose Girls Pro-Wrestling Pre-Launch Vol. 1

Rose Girls Pro-Wrestling 3/1/2026 Rose Girls Pro-Wrestling Pre-Launch Vol. 1

This is the debut show for Rose Girls Pro-Wrestling. It's the pre-launch though, so they may not count it as such. I don't think this promotion is necessary or a great idea. Marigold, Stardom and TJPW are much bigger and more self-sufficient. The other promotions like Wave, Ice Ribbon, Sendai, Pure-J and Marvelous will be relying on the same talent they will be using to fill out cards. None of those promotions are drawing that great and due to Japan being smaller and not being strong financially right now, they can only support so many promotions. Zero-1 also hasn't done a great job with their own promotion, yet alone a secondary one. The key to making this work is Zero-1 training their own girls. They did not sell out here either and this place does not hold more than 300 fans or so.

I will be watching 4 of the 5 matches here.

Mei Suruga & Ryoko Sakimura vs. Miku Kanae & Yuuki Mashiro

The girls refuse handshakes. Yuuki and Mei lock up. Mei wristlocks her then Yuuki reverses it. Mei cartwheels then side headlocks her. Mei cartwheels off the ropes and poses with her. Miku hits chest forearms on Mei and Mei dropkicks her from behind. Mei hair throws Miku then bites her hair. Mei hair throws her again. RS hair throws Miku. Miku pulls on RS' hair and hair throws her. Miku stomps her and stands on her on the ropes with Yuuki.

Miku hits dropkicks on RS for 2. Miku armbars RS from behind and RS ropebreaks. RS armdrags Miku the spinning high kicks her for 2. Mei top rope crossbodies Miku then bodyscissors rolls her around the ring for 2. Mei walks the top rope then stomps Miku's hand into the mat. Mei does a bridging upside down full-nelson hold.

Miku rolls Mei into a dropkick then monkey flips her. Miku dropkicks Mei off the buckles for 2. Mei armdrags Miku then does a pin attempt for 2. Mei rolls Miku around the ring for 2. Mei gets another 2 count on her. Miku tilt-a-whirl bodypresses her for 2. Mei is tripped into the ropes and Yuuki dropkicks her against the ropes for 2. Mei double stomps Yuuki then springboard double stomps her.

RS runnign dropkicks Yuuki in the corner then rolling sentons her for 2. RS does a rolling koji clutch variation on Yuuki. Yuuki running back elbows her and low dropkicks her for 2. Mei rolls Yuuki, walks up the ropes with the help of Miku and double stomps Yuuki. Miku is then armdragged.

Yuuki is suplexed for 2. Miku crossbodies RS off the buckles then Yuuki crossbodies RS off the buckles for 2. Yuuki buzzsaw kicks RS for 2. Yuuki twisting fisherman suplexes RS and pins her.

Thoughts:
I was a bit surprised to see RS lose here since she belongs to Marigold. It was a decent opener. Mei did her flying and made it look easy and the four girls gelled together well. This went about as well as it could have gone.

Kaoru Ito vs. Konomi Hori

They shake hands. Hori hits 2 dropkicks to start and drops Ito. Hori hits chest forearms then Ito forearms her down. Ito boots her down then half crabs her. Hori ropebreaks. Ito stands on Hori's back. Ito crabs her then pulls on her hair.

Ito sits on her back and pulls her hair more. Ito elbow drops her back then half crabs her again. They trade forearms and Hori goes down twice. Ito corner lariats her then crabs her again. Ito camel clutches her. Hori's head is banged off the buckles and she is booted in the corner. Hori rolls her up for 2.

Hori tries shoulderblocks that go nowhere. Ito knees her in the gut and Hori tries more shoulderblocks before going down. Hori drop her with a shoulderblock. Hori hit chest forearms and Ito lariats her. Ito sentons her and wins.

Thoughts: This went 9:51 and didn't really need to. It was a one-sided whooping as expected. Hori's cute and sold a lot here as expected. She really only got some dropkicks and shoulderblocks in though. We'll see how she develops as this was only her 4th match.

Kaho Kobayashi vs. CoCo

KK acts crazy on her way to the ring. They lock up. KK backs her up on the ropes. KK wristlocks her. Coco rolls and kips up to escape. Coco wristlocks her. KK armdrags her then Coco armdrags her. Coco kips up and armdrags her. KK sweeps her and they stand off.

Coco trips her then springboard diving armdrags her. Coco walks up the ropes, does rope tricks and flips (and slips) into an armdrag. Coco then asai moonsaults and poses. KK stalls outside for a bit.

Coco's head is banged off the buckles and KK slingshot swinging corner dropkicks her. KK corner lariats her. KK basement dropkicks her. KK sits on her back and camel clutches her. Coco's neck is pulled around the top rope. KK forearms her down and Coco flying forearms her. Coco asai moonsaults her for 2.

KK lariats her. They trade forearms and KK no sells them. KK suplexes Coco. KK running lariats her for 2. Coco spinning headscissors her down using the ropes then topes her. Coco slams KK.

Coco misses a 450 off the top and is rolled up for 2. KK enzugiri's her and Coco cradles her for 2. KK ripcord chest forearms her and Coco gets a 2 count on her. KK rolls her up into a bridge pin and pins her at 10:20.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout and kind of similar to the opener. Coco's a real phenom for 16 with her lucha and flying. I'd say she's already better than about half the joshi girls and she should only get better. Kaho brought a little personality to this and won as expected.

Kakeru Sekiguchi vs. Yuuki Mashiro

They lock up. Yuuki wristlocks her and they trade wristlocks. KS side headlocks her. They armdrag each other and Yuuki basement dropkicks her. Yuuki hair throws her and foot chokes her. KS slams her for 2.

KS ties Yuuki's arm around the bottom rope and dropkicks it. KS pulls Yuuki's arm over the top. KS dropkicks Yuuki in the side of the head. KS sits on her shoulder with an armbar. KS boots Yuuki out of the ring and double stomps her arm.

KS hits chest forearms. Yuuki trips her into the ropes then dropkicks her against the ropes. KS fujiwara armbars her. KS hits chest forearms Yuuki low dropkicks her for 2. Yuuki crossfaces her and KS ropebreaks. They trade chest forearms. KS codebreakers the arm then basement dropkicks her for 2.

KS ties up Yuuki's arms and pulls on her leg. KS goes up top and is thrown down. Yuuki top rope crossbodies her. Yuuki step up enzugiri's her and fisherman suplexes her for 2. KS suplexes her and Yuuki cradles her for 2. They trade pin attempts. Yuuki buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Yuuki goes for a pin but KS counters it and pins her at 9:59.

Thoughts: We already saw Yuuki earlier in the show so we knew what the deal was going to be. What we got was fine. KS worked the arm a bit, they traded forearms and pin attempts before the finish. It seems like Yuuki is going to be featured here so I'm not sure why she lost.

KS messes with Yuuki and shakes the arm she was working on hard.

Yuuki does a speech after. She is given a white rose and leads a cheer. She then throws the rose.

Overall thoughts:
I saw 4 of the 5 matches here. What I saw was fine but nothing too special. I'd watch another show of theirs. This success of this promotion is going to come down to Konomi Hori and any other rookies they produce as the other girls are all featured in other promotions regularly and fans won't need to come to Rose Girls to see them specifically. I'd give what I saw a 5 out of 10.
