Stardom 8/14/2026 5★STAR Grand Prix 2026 Day 12

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Yuna Mizumori vs. Saya Kamitani

They run at each other. Yuna armdrags her and Saya ducks a lariat. Saya sticks her tongue out at her and boots her. Yuna dropkicks her out of the ring. Saya boots her in the head over the 2nd rope. Saya then throws her into the seats several times. Yuna is sent into the post. Saya then sits in a chair in the ring and drinks water.

Saya boots her while in the chair. Yuna chops her and lands on the chair on a failed dropkick. Saya kicks her around. Yuna springboard dropkicks her. Yuna running forearms her and sliding lariats her for 2. They trade pump kicks for facekicks. Saya boots her in the face several times then Yuna flying facekicks her. Saya pump kicks her down.

Yuna overhead kicks her then hits a nice flying lariat for 2. Yuna slides under her and Saya double stomps her. Saya northern lights suplexes her. Yuna hurricanrana's her for 2. Yuna hurricanrana's her for another 2 then does it again for another 2. Yuna sliding lariats her from behind and rolls her up for 2. Saya spinning high kicks her. Saya then corkscrew kicks her in the back for 2.

Saya ki krushers her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was an okay match here. It had a good pace, we had a lot of action and a lot of hard shots. They put over the idea well that Yuna might win this as the underdog but she lost in the end. These are two of the better workers in Stardom and naturally this worked out well.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - HANAKO vs. Rian

They lock up and back each other up on the ropes. Hana offers a test of strength. Ri stomps her foot. Ri springboard diving armdrags her and basement dropkicks her. Hana shoulders Ri over then slams her. Hana slams Ri for 2. Hana is tripped into the ropes and Ri dropkicks her in the back.

Ri gets on her back with a sleeper and Ri gets rammed into the corner. Ri stomps her foot. Hana backbreakers her. Ri low crossbodies her for 2. Ri sleepers her. Ri running knees her then hits mounted forearms on her. Hana chest forearms Ri down. Ri stomps Hana's foot again. They then repeat the sequence multiple times. Ri stomp flurries Hana's foot. Hana facekicks Ri.

Ri stunners Hana. Ri goes up top and top rope crossbodies her for 2. Hana facekicks Ri over. Ri hurricanrana's her and sleepers her. Hana stomps her and bangs Ri's head off the buckles. Hana corner splashes her then suplexes her. Ri cradles her for 2. Hana short arm lariats her. Ri flips over her back and rolls her up for 2. Hana lariats her down then hits a hard powerbomb. Hana pins Rian.

Thoughts: I liked it and thought it was an okay match. Ri worked like a much smaller underdog and Hana used her size against her. The logic was right and it was what it should have been.

Ri kicks Hana after.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Ami Sourei vs. Kikyo Furusawa

KF running dropkicks her to start multiple times. KF dropkicks her in the knee and basement dropkicks her. Ami shoulders her over. KF's head is banged off the buckles. Ami chops her in the corner. KF double throat thrusts her and hits forearms. Ami chops her down. KF dropkicks her in the knee then ankle locks her.

KF dropkicks her leg against the bottom rope. Ami racks her.KF is put in reverse tree of woe. Ami splashes her then sliding lariats her for 2. KF rolls her into an ankle lock. KF swings her knee into the mat and ankle locks her. Ami ropebreaks.

KF basement dropkicks her then throws her by the leg for 2. KF stomps her leg. Ami suplexes her for 2. KF rolls her up for 2. Ami lariats her then KF cradles her for 2. Ami flying lariats her. Ami landslides her and pins her.

Thoughts: It had some similarities to the previous match. KF worked the leg and went for ankle locks and Ami used her size against her. It made sense and was an okay match. The ankle lock spam wasn't the most exciting though.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Mei Seira vs. Lady C

Mei misses a running dropkick. C slams her off a crossbody attempt. C armdrags her. Mei punches her. Mei superkicks her in the gut. C reverse giant swings her then drops her chest first off of it for 2. C running facekicks her twice for 2.

Mei's 2nd rope diving codebreaker is caught. Mei corner lariats her then springboard dropkicks her for 2. Mei dropkicks her. Mei takes her down by the leg. They try to trade pin attempts but Mei can't really get her over. Mei gets caught with a facekick. Mei rolls her up and pins her.

Thoughts: Mei had some trouble doing moves to C because of their sizes differences. It was a shorter one and Mei went for a lot of pin attempts. They had the right idea with the bigger vs smaller match-up but C couldn't move as much as Mei wanted. Add in the short length and it wasn't anything too great.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Koguma vs. Starlight Kid

Kog wants to do her taunt before the match and Kid does it with her. Kid then tries to get the crowd to cheer for her and they get the ref to judge who is getting bigger chants. They try to roll each other up. Kid trips her and they both pose. They trade chest forearms. Kid misses a springboard. Kog sits on her back nd does her taunt on her.

Kid stands on her and standing moonsaults her for 2. They trade forearms on the buckles. Kog pulls her throat down over the top rope from the buckles. Kog spinning sleepers her and grounds her. Kid ropebreaks.

Kog top rope dropkicks her for 2. Kid cross legged suplexes her. Kog flying kicks her. They botch a spot and Kid slams her. Kog no sells it and rolls her up for 2. Kog rolls her up and lays on her for 2. Kog germans her. Kid code red's her for 2. Kid top rope moonsaults her and pins her.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one that much. They both fooled around early. Kog's selling was that good and it wasn't a real serious match.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Julia Hart vs. Miyu Amasaki

They lock up. Hart armdrags her and yanks on her arm. Hart side headlocks her. Miyu basement dropkicks her from behind. Hart hits mounted forearms her on her then knee drops her arm. Hart wraps her arm around the bottom rope. Hart boots her in the corner and pulls her arm around the rope. Hart armlocks her and full nelson's her.

They trade chest forearms. Miyu gets the edge and Miyu ddt's her. They forearm each other. Hart STO's her then standing moonsaults her for 2. Miyu pendulum ddt's her for 2. Hart tarantula's her around the ropes. Miyu overhead suplexes her. Miyu spinning ddt's her. Hart rolls her up and corner lariats her. Hart tiles up her arms and pulls on her neck. Miyu taps out quick.

Thoughts: Hart worked the arm a bit before winning with a move affecting the arm. That was fine. Miyu didn't really get in enough and it wasn't super exciting. I thought it was average.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Ruaka vs. Hina

They lock up. Hina chest forearms her and side headlock takeovers her. Ruaka headscissors her. Hina low dropkicks her. Ruaka slams her. Ruaka corner splashes her and foot chokes her. Ruaka slams her then splashes her. Hina hits chest forearms. Hina hip throws her.

Hina flying knees her in the corner and low dropkicks her. Hina running neckbreakers her then uranage's her for 2. Hina crabs her. Hina half crabs her then stf's her. Ruaka straight punches her. Ruaka lariats her on the ropes and crossbodies her against the bottom rope for 2.

They trade forearms. Ruaka suplexes her for 2. Ruaka misses a 2nd rope splash. Ruaka lariats her down. Ruaka 2nd rope splashes her for 2. Hina rolls her up for 2. Hina stf's her. Hina top rope splashes her. Ruaka tries to hit her with a box and is blocked. Hina spinning forearms her and suplexes her for 2. Hina top rope splashes her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. It wasn't great or anything but everyone hit their stuff clean and I had no real issues with it.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Momo Watanabe vs. Hanan

They go to the mat. Momo side headlocks her. Han reverses it. Momo rolls her up for 2. Han dropkicks her out. Han is up top and Momo snapmares her down to the apron and floor. Momo PK's her from the apron. Han is sent into the seats. Momo throws a chair at her then sends her into the seats again. Momo chokes her with a chair.

They go back in and Momo boots her in the face. Momo stands on her near the bottom rope. Momo hits chest kicks. Momo bullies her around and no sells Han's forearms. Momo then throws her down. Han hip throws her and running euros her for 2. Han 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her. Han running euros her. Han is hanging over the top rope and Momo head kicks her.

Momo b-drivers her on the apron. Han cuty specials her on the floor. Han 2nd rope plancha's Her and Saya Kamitani outside. Han piledrivers her over the 2nd rope inside. Han hits a deadfall ddt for 2. Momo high kicks her. Han backdrops her. Momo half-nelson suplexes her.

They forearm each other on their knees then get up and trade. Han hits forearms. Momo 2nd rope uranage's her. Momo meteora's her for 2. Momo high kicks her after nearly pushing her into the ref. Momo hits her with a baseball bat. Hanan rolls her up for 2. Hana n backdrops Momo for 2.

Momo half nelson suplexes her for 2 and half-nelson wrist-clutch suplexes her. The time limit then expires.

Thoughts: The selling could have been better here on Hanan's end. It had an okay flow to it. There wasn't much of a story besides basic heel vs face stuff. They did work together okay. I have mixed feelings on this one but would say it was acceptable.

They shake hands and Momo hits her after. Hanan then talks on the mic.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Suzu Suzuki vs. Aya Sakura

Aya and Suzu lock up. Aya is backed up on the ropes and Suzu slaps her. Aya shoots in and gets blocked. Aya wristlocks her and Suzu side headlocks her. Suzu shoulders her over. They armdrag each other and Suzu basement dropkicks her. Suzu pulls her down by the hair.

Suzu throws her by the hair and puts her foot in her face in the corner. Suzu kicks her in the back. Suzu grounded sleepers her and Aya ropebreaks. Suzu boots her over. Aya hits chest forearms. and Suzu allows her. Suzu then drops her with a single forearm.

Aya kicks her in the back then 2nd rope dropkicks her for 2. Aya triangles her. Aya stomps on Suzu. Suzu chest forearms her down. They trade chest forearms. Suzu hits forearms. Aya kicks her in the leg. Suzu buckle bombs her and running knees her in the corner for 2.

Suzu germans her and Aya flying kicks her. Suzu running lariats her. Aya hits more chest forearms. Suzu drops her with a big forearm. Aya hits chest kicks. Suzu headbutts her. Aya chest kicks her then northern lights suplexes her for 2. Aya triangles her. Aya flying knees her off the buckles for 2. Aya thrust kicks her and Suzu hits a tequila shot for 2. Aya gets a 2 count on her. Suzu buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Suzu germans her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a bit one-sided and I didn't buy that Aya could win here. It was an acceptable bout otherwise though. The two just stiffed each other with kicks and forearms the whole time until Suzu won as expected. It was just nice to see Aya in a longer singles match for a change.

Momo talks on the mic after. Aya is given the mic and she screams at her. Suzu talks more on the mic and holds her title up.

Overall thoughts: It was a good show overall. We started off with 3 okay matches in row. Lady C/Mei also ended up being one too. Kog/Starlight Kid wasn't very serious. Hart/Miyu was average. Ruaka/Hina was acceptable as was Momo/Hanan and the main. Mostly everything delivered here. I'd give it a higher 6 out of 10 overall. Yuna/Saya was the best match of the night.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Natsuko Tora vs. Sayaka Kurara

Saya boots Tora to start then dropkicks her twice. Saya running back elbows her and 2nd rope twisting elbows her for 2. Saya hits forearms and Tora crossbodies her. Saya is thrown out and send into the seats. Tora foot chokes her and suplexes her for 2. Tora stands on her. Saya sweeps her, basement dropkicks her and elbow drops her. Saya 2nd rope dropkicks Tora. Tora sentons her twice.

Tora gets on her back and sleepers her. Saya ropebreaks. Tora corner cannonballs her for 2. Tora 2nd rope splashes her. Tora misses a top rope swanton and Saya rolls her up for 2. Saya rams her into the corner for a corner spear. Saya spears her for 2.

Tora back body drops her. Saya gets on her back with a sleeper and is thrown over. Tora lariats her then running lariats her for 2. Tora top rope swantons her and pins her.

Thoughts: Saya loses yet again. It was a shorter one and it basically was a squash. I don't know what's going on here with Saya but it's stupid.

Saya throws an ice pack at Tora after and gets senton'd.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - AZM vs. Akira Kurogane

AK dropkicks her as she enters and stomps her. AK dropkicks her through the ropes. AZM slams her. AZM kicks her in the back, PK's her and double stomps her. They trade chest forearms. AK hits chest forearms and dropkicks her. AK russian legsweeps her for 2. AZM crossfaces her and armbars her. AZM pulls back on the other arm and AK ropebreaks.

AK headbutts her and hits chest forearms. AZM suplexes her and AK no sells it. AK underhook suplexes her. AZM trips her, goes for an armbar and is rolled up. AZM buzzsaw kicks her. AZM top rope double stomps her for 2. AK cradles her for 2. AK knees her in the face and underhook suplexes her for 2. AZM rolls her, ties up one arm and cranks back on the other. AZM then hooks her leg under AK's head and submits her.

Thoughts: It was alright. Akira didn't quite get as many hope spots in as I wanted, but I think they had the right idea. It was a quicker match and they got out of there before it went too long.

Lady C & Waka Tsukiyama vs. Cosmic Angels (Natsupoi & Saori Anou)

C wants a test of strength with Poi but she's too tall. Poi can't reach her. Poi then stands on the 2nd rope and C can't reach her. C chops her while she's there. C catches her crossbody and giant swings her. C ends up getting dizzy too.

Waka comes in and hits hip attacks on Poi. Waka then gets a 2 count on her. Poi cartwheels, armdrags her and dropkicks her. SA comes in and C forearms her. SA trips Waka and ties her legs up while suplexing C. Waka gets on SA's back and pulls her arm. Waka basement dropkicks her.

C running facekicks SA. SA 2nd rope dropkicks her. Poi top rope crossbodies C for 2. Poi then triangles C. C lifts her out of it. Poi spin kicks her in the gut. C drops her on her chest on her casadora bulldog attempt.

Waka flying knees Poi from behind on the ropes for 2. Waka shotei's Poi. Waka takes a double dropkick in the corner. C double flying lariats her opponents. Poi takes a shotei + russian legsweep combo. Waka then gets a 2 count on Poi.

Poi rolls up Waka for 2. C facekicks Poi down. Waka isses a hip attack on the ropes and Poi basement dropkicks her from behind for 2. Waka takes a double suplex for 2. Waka rolls up Poi for 2.

Waka takes a double kick from her opponents. Waka is then suplexed and takes a top rope Poi cartwheel splash. Poi pins Waka.

Thoughts: It was a lower card style match. I think they got about as much as they could out of it. It was acceptable for being a total throwaway. It's a shane Poi and Anou are wasting time doing these matches instead of wrestling in the GP.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Konami vs. Azusa Inaba

AI pump kicks Kon at the bell and throws her out. Kon is sent into the seats. AI is sent into the seats. They get back in the ring and Kon pulls AI's arm around the top rope. Kon stomps AI's arm. Kon armbars AI then pulls her arm around the 2nd rope.

AI hits chest forearms on Kon. Kon forearms her down. AI spin kicks her in the head and pump kicks her. AI pump kicks her down for 2. AI trips Kon and ankle locks her. AI armlocks her. Kon fisherman suplexes her for 2. AI hits kicks to the body and Kon fires back.

AI rolls her into an ankle lock. AI hits front facelock suplexes her on her. AI misses an asai moonsault. AI high kicks her and then backdrops her for 2. Kon germans her for 2. Kon armbars AI. Kon ties up one arm and pulls back on the other. AI ropebreaks.

Kon triangle lancers her. Kon high kicks her then buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Kon triangle lancer's her and AI submits.

Thoughts: This was fine. It was heel vs heel and AI played the face here. Kon did her usual match she focused on various arm holds until she submitted her.

AI gives Kon her spray paint after and lets her spray her face. Kon then photos the photo on her face like she does everyone else.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Itsuki Aoki vs. Maika

They handshake and shoudlerblock battle off of that. Aoki shoulders her over and celebrates. Aoki hair throws her. Aoki puts her foot in her throat and drinks water. Aoki corner basement dropkicks her. Aoki slams her then splashes her for 2. Aoki running back elbows her. Maika lariats her from behind. Aoki trips her and basement dropkicks her.

Maika side throws her and sliding lariats her. Maika corner lariats her and shoulders her over. Aoki suplexes her. Aoki corner meteora's her. Aoki goes up top and is hit. They trade shots there. Maika 2nd rope superplexes her. Aoki 2nd rope samoan drops her for 2.

They lariat battle and Aoki lariats her down. Maika michinoku drivers her for 2. Aoki rebound germans her. Maika no sells it and Aoki flying lariats her. Aoki running lariats her. Aoki air raid crashes her. Maika backdrops her.

Maika short arm lariats her then spinning lariats her for 2. Maika michinoku drivers her for 2. Aoki lariats her down. Maika hits headbutts on her. Maika spinning lariats her for 2. Maika hammerlock michinoku drivers her and pins her.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was a bit of a hoss battle here. The two hit a bunch of lariats and did some power moved. It worked out well and it's clear Aoki's stock in Stardom is rising as she's putting out decent matches with some of their better talent. This was okay.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Rina Yamashita vs. Saya Iida

They shake hands and lock up. Saya backs her up on the ropes. Rina side headlocks her and they shoulder battle. Rina shoulders her over. They chop each other. Rina goes down and goes out. Saya goes out with her and gets dropped with a chop. Saya chops Rina down.

They stand on seats in the crowd and chop each other. They then get off the seats and chop each other. They then fight behind banners and stand on chairs to chop each other again. They get back in and square off. They then trade more chops.

They get in the ring. Rina gets the edge and Saya double chops her down. Saya does like a dragon sleeper and Rina rope breaks. Rina shoulders Saya over. Rina slams her and running knees her in the back against the ropes. Rina spinning backdrops her.

They fight on the buckles and chop each other there. Saya 2nd rope powerslams her. Rina no sell it and suplexes her. Saya slams Rina and both go down. They trade shots on their knees. They collide with lariats in the middle of the ring. Saya lariats her down.

Saya top rope diving shoulderblocks her for 2. Rina germans her. Rina running lariats her for 2. Rina splashes her from the buckles for 2. Saya reverses the pin and gets a 2 count on her. They trade chops. Saya lariats her down for 2. Saya suplexes her and the time limit runs out.

Thoughts: Them going to a draw wasn't surprising. They were clearly wasting time with chops outside. I didn't like this that much. It was almost all chops. Rina's gotten lazier lately and her brawling doesn't look as good as it used to.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Rina vs. Tomoka Inaba

Rina facekicks TI then pump kicks her. TI pop up knees her and spinning roundhouse kicks her in the head for 2. TI hits forearms to the head and drops her. Rina's buddy distracts the ref and Rina whips TI with her whip. Rina facekicks her over the 2nd rope. Rina overhead suplexes TI for 2.

Rina double knee drops her off the buckles twice. Rina does a grounded octopus. Rin then pulls on the leg as well. TI pump kicks her. TI superkicks her then michinoku drivers her for 2. Rina dodges a kick and rolls her up for 2. TI pop up roundhouse kicks her. Rina running facekicks her. Rina hits a gori special and pins her.

Thoughts: It was short and not that good. It wasn't anyone's best work and they didn't get anything going before going home.

Rina then talks on the mic after.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Maki Itoh vs. Utami Hayashishita

Utami hammerocks Itoh and Itoh side headlocks her. Utami side headlock takeovers her and Itoh headscissors her. Itoh lays down to let Utami pin her, Utami tries and is rolled up for 2. Utami side headlocks her and Itoh side headlocks her. Utami shoulders her over. Utami shoulders her over for 2. Utami basement dropkicks Itoh.

Utami slams Itoh. Itoh slams her. Itoh facekicks her through the ropes. Itoh top rope crossbodies her for 2. Itoh crabs Utami. They fight on the buckles. Utami 2nd rope superplexes Itoh. Itoh tornado ddt's Utami. Itoh headbutts Utami down. They trade forearms on their knees then get up and trade.

They running back elbow each other. Itoh rolls Utami into a half crab. Utami lariats her on the ropes and sliding lariats her for 2. Utami air raid crashes her for 2. Itoh spinning forearms her and Utami lariats her down. Itoh stunners her out of a suplex attempt. Itoh double stomps her for 2.

Itoh 2nd rope tornado ddt's her for 2. Utami goes for a texas cloverleaf and Utami germans her. Utami lariats her over and spinning sitout torture rack bombs her for 2. They trade forearms. Itoh gives her the finger and Utami slaps her.Itoh rolls her up for 2. Itoh rolls her up for 2. Utami suplexes her. Itoh backslides her and rolls her up. Itoh pins her.

Thoughts: I felt like something was missing here. I think they kind of forgot the middle portion of this match. Itoh also didn't screw around here as much and I think they should have given us a reason for that here. I thought it was average.

Itoh talks on the mic after and Utami responds. Itoh gets really happy about whatever Utami said and raises her hand.

Overall thoughts: Kurara lost again in the opener. AZM/Akira was alright. Poi's match was acceptable and Konami/Azusa Inaba was fine. Aoki/Maika was my match of the night. I didn't like Yamashita/Iida as they wasted a lot of time and spent most of the match doing weak chops. The semi-main was short and not good. The main was missing something and was just average. This was another GP show where the undercard outshined the top matches. I'd give it a mid-5 out of 10 here as there were a few good things but some other things didn't deliver. It was average.

Ema Maishima & Waka Tsukiyama vs. STARS (Matoi Hamabe & Saya Iida)

Waka and Saya go at it. They lock up and Waka is backed up on the ropes. Saya shakes her there and lets go. Waka shotei's her. Waka hits hip attacks on her. Waka takes a double basement dropkick from both opponents. Saya chops Waka in the corner then Matoi chops her too.

Matoi shoulders throws Waka. Waka crossbodies her. Ema hits low dropkicks on Matoi for 2. Ema crabs Matoi. Matoi running dropkicks Ema. Matoi slams Ema then flipping sentons her for 2. Matoi and Ema trade chest forearms. Ema drops her with a forearm then slingblades her for 2.

Waka stops Ema's tag in the corner. Waka flying knees her on the ropes. Waka pulls Matoi's arms back when she sits on her back. Waka basement dropkicks her. Waka dropkicks her. Waka rolls up Matoi for 2. Matoi is dropkicked into a tiger suplex and Waka pins Matoi.

Thoughts: The Matoi vs Ema sections were the best parts of this. It didn't go that long and Waka wasn't that serious as usual. It was not much of note.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Tomoka Inaba vs. Akira Kurogane

AK rolls her up for 2 to start then basement dropkicks her. AK running back elbows her and low dropkicks her for 2. TI headscissors her and AK ropebreaks. TI snapmares her and kicks her in the back for 2.

AK slams her for 2. TI grabs a crossface. AK then grabs a crossface. AK running facekicks her through the ropes for 2. AK hits chest forearms. TI misses a pump kick but it is sold anyway. AK enzugiri's her for 2. AK knees her in the face for 2. TI sitout gordbusters her and AK rolls her up for 2.

TI pop up knees her and roundhouse kicks her in the head. TI pins her.

Thoughts: It didn't get a lot of time and was more of a rookie style match than anything else. What we got didn't look bad and I would have liked to have seen where this would have gone with more time.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - AZM vs. Natsuko Tora

Tora comes out and has AZM by the hair. She throws AZM in and the bell rings. AZM hits chest forearms. Tora suplexes her. They go out and AZM is sent into the seats. Tora chokes her with a towel and sends her into the seats again.

Back in the ring, Tora shoulders her over. Tora sentons AZM for 2. Tora hair throws AZM. AZM hurricanrana's Tora and basemetn dropkicks her. AZM top rope dropkicks Tora for 2. AZM then armbars Tora. They trade forearms.

They forearm each other and AZM la mistica drops her. AZM arbars her off it. Tora ropebreaks. AZM is on the apron and Tora throws a chair at her head. Tora slams her on the floor then slams Ema Maishima on her.

Tora corner cannonballs her for 2. Tora misses a 2nd rope splash. AZM rolls her up for 2. AZM enzugiri's her and buzsaw kicks her for 2. Tora grabs a chair and the ref takes it. Tora fights the ref for it, Tora lets go and AZM gets hit with it. AZM suplexes Tora on the chair.

AZM and Tora fight for the chair and knock the ref over with it. The ref then calls for the bell and this should either be a double DQ or a no contest.

Thoughts: It was mostly all shenanigans here with a non-finish on top of it. This wasn't that good.

Cosmic Angels (Natsupoi & Saori Anou) vs. Cosmic Angels (Anne Kanaya & Sayaka Kurara)

Anne boots Poi in the gut and Poi crossbodies her. Poi bridges out of a pin and they headflip up together. Poi boots Anne in the gut. Anne takes a double kick and a double basement dropkick from her opponents.

SA trips Anne then indian deathlocks her without the legs. SA axe kicks her back. Poi lets Anne hit forearms on her. Poi drops her with a chest forearm. Anne casadora armdrags Poi and basement dropkicks her. Saya comes in and running back elbows Poi. Saya then dropkicks her for 2.

Poi knees and boot her in the gut. Saya double trips her opponent and basement dropkicks them in the back. Saya elbow drops Poi. Poi spin kicks her in the gut and headhunters her. SA top rope dropkicks Saya then basement dropkicks her for 2.

Saya 2nd rope twisting forearms SA. Anne tags in and basement dropkicks SA for 2. SA fisherman suplexes her then indian deathlocks her without the legs hooked. Saya breaks it up. Saya dropkicks SA and SA takes a double basement dropkick. Anne slams SA for 2.

Anne takes a double dropkick in the corner. Saya and Anne dropkick their opponents. Saya 2nd rope dropkicks SA. Anne bulldogs SA for 2. Anne hits chest forearms on SA ten rolls her up for 2. SA step up enzugiri's Anne then fisherman suplexes her for 2. Saya takes a double superkick. Anne takes a double suplex. SA germans Anne and pins her.

Thoughts: Sayaka loses again. It's very hard to understand why she's losing all these matches when she was champ a few months ago. I don't like her teaming with rookies either. It was acceptable but not much else. Anne continues to look decent.

The girls make friends with each other after.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Maki Itoh vs. Azusa Inaba

They trade side headlocks and armholds. Itoh takes her over and AI headscissors her. They both then pose and boot the other out of the way to pose. Itoh gets annoyed and dropkicks her from behind. Itoh then poses. Itoh boots and forearms her outside. Itoh is then sent into the seats. Itoh goes into the seats again and poses on them. Itoh is sent into the seats again. AI is sent into the seats and Itoh goes into the seats again.

AI's head is banged off the seats. AI stomps on Itoh. Itoh's head is banged off the buckles and AI foot chokes her. AI kicks her in the back for 2. AI hits chest forearms on Itoh and Itoh ddt's her. Itoh running kicks her through the ropes and poses.

Itoh top rope crossbodies her for 2. Itoh hits mounted corner punches. Itoh dropkicks her for 2. AI chest kicks her down and pump kicks her twice for 2. Itoh running shoulders her in the corner then stunners her over the top rope. AI twisting neckbreakers her. AI then ankle locks her.

Itoh neckbreakers her over her knee. Itoh ties up one leg and pulls the other backwards. Itoh then grab an arm on top of it. AI ropebreaks. AI hits forearms on the apron. Itoh ddt's her on the apron.

Itoh goes up top and is thrown down. AI hits chest kicks on her. Itoh headbutts her in the chest then AI pump kicks her. AI hits underhook suplexes on Itoh for 2. Itoh goes up and over and backcrackers her. Itoh crabs her and texas clover leafs her. AI cradles her for 2. AI pump kicks her. AI grounded ankle locks her. Itoh ropebreaks. Itoh backslides her into a high angle cloverleaf. They then go to a time limit draw.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. It was acceptable. They had something going with AI trying to be cuter than Maki, but then they gave up on it. There wasn't a ton of story otherwise but at least AI didn't take the loss here.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Rina Yamashita vs. Konami

Kon wristlocks her, Rina reverses it and is taken down. They stand off. Rina side headlocks her and shoulders her over. Kon pulls her down by the hair and kicks her in the back. Rina hangs on the ropes and is kicked down. Kon then sends Rina into the seats.

Rina shoulders Kon over outside. Rina slams her for 2. Rina boots her in the head inside. Kon triangles her around the top rope. Kon chest kicks her then knees her in the arm. Kon stomps Rina's arm into the mat.

Kon elbows Rina's arm. Rina shoulders Kon over. Rina corner lariats her for 2. Kon goes for the armbar and Rina rolls out. They trade forearms. Rina backdrops her. Rina goes up top and is thrown down. Kon running boots her. Kon diving kicks her off the top for 2. Rina blocks Kon's kick. Kon goes for a rolling armbar and gets it. Kon triangle lancer's her.

Kon germns Rina. Rina facekicks her and lariats her over. Rina suplexes her for 2. Rina is pushed into the ref. Kon goes for spray paint and Rina blocks it with her hands. Rina grabs the spray paint and headbutts it into Kon's head. Rina rolls Kon for 2. Kon high kicks Rina and Rina lariats her over. Rina running lariats her for 2. Rina b-drivers her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was all brawling and strikes. It didn't look like the most exciting match on paper and it wasn't. Kon focused on the arm a bit here. I thought this was average.

Rina talks on the mic after and tries to shake Kon's hand. Kon spray paints her in the face and shoves a photo in her face.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Rina vs. Maika

Maika hit Rina from behind as she enters. The bell rings when Maika throws Rina in. Maika corner lariats her twice then shoulders her over. Maika fallaway slams Rina. Rina boots her in the gut. Maika throws her over. They sweep each other and stand off.

Rina throws Maika down backwards and basement dropkicks her. Rina throws Maika out and sends her into the seats. Maika tries to ram Rina into the seats but Rina side steps her and Maika goes into the seats. Rina sits on Maika's back and chinlocks her.

Rina hair throws Maika. Rina foot chokes her. Rina armbars her then cranks her arm back. Maika powerslams Rina for 2. Maika grounde sleepers her. Maika lariats her on the ropes and sliding lariats her. Rina does an octopus to her. Rina dropkicks Maika off the buckles. Rina running facekicks her on the ropes for 2.

Maika lariats her then Rina northern lights suplexes her for 2. Rina does an octopus to her. Rina 2nd rope double knee drops her for 2. They fight on the buckles. Rina blocks a superplex and bangs Maika's arm down over the top rope. Rina boots the post when Maika moves outside. Maika facekicks Rina twice. Rina facekicks her back. Rina northern lights suplexes her on the floor. Rina double knee drops her off the apron on the floor. Maika backdrops Rina on the floor. Both girls almost get counted out.

They trade forearms on their knees. Rina facekicks Maika. Maika lariats her. Rina hip throws her. Maika suplexes her. Rina running facekicks her. Maika short arm lariats her then spinning lariats her. Rina does an abdominal stretch driver for 1. The time limit then runs out.

Thoughts: It was our second time limit draw on here. It wasn't that good. Rina was on offense for most of this and there was no great logic to anything she did. Maika made a comeback later on in the match, but then it ended right after. This was below average.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Utami Hayashishita vs. Lady C

C facekicks Utami to start and gets a 2 count on her. C kicks Utami while she's down and facekicks her. Utami dropkicks her and slams her. Utami running back elbows her in the corner and basement dropkicks her in the back. Utami clubs her and basement dropkicks her. Utami forearms her down. They shoulder battle and Utami knocks her over. C then shoulders her over from the side. C giant swings her but drops her.

C giant swings her again for 2. C cobra twists her and Utami ropebreaks. C running facekicks her on the ropes for 2. They trade forearms. C facekicks her. Utami suplexes her. C flying lariats her. C running facekicks her.

Utam larias her on the ropes and sliding lariats her. C chokeslams her for 2. Utami suplexes her down. Utami air raid crashes her. C facekicks her. Utami germans her. C no ells it and is german'd again. Utami lariats her for 2. Utami germans her for 2. Utami short arm lariats her and spinning sitout torture rack bombs her. Utami pins her.

Thoughts: It didn't get that much time and was no epic but it went alright. C only had one botch and they had a competent heavyweight match. C also took some of Utami's bigger moves which was a surprise. It was an alright main. C is still limited but she's getting better.

C and Utami then talk on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't one of my favorite GP shows. There were two time limit draws that weren't that interesting and those caused the main event to get less time. There was nothing here I loved that much and the main was probably my favorite thing on the show. I'd give this a 4 out of 10 and would say it was below average. I didn't like this one.

LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 8/16/2026

Leobardo Magadan and Alberto Zamudio are our hosts.

Dr. Wagner Jr. and one of the Silver King's talk in the back. Two of the luchadoras go up to them and give Wagner cake. Pirata Morgan walks in and has words for Wagner. Wagner seems to get a little angry but they don't end up fighting.

Pirata Morgan talks to a mystery man in the back and laughs with him. They both talk and walk off.

Chicken Munoz, who they say is the conductor, hosts a birthday celebration for Dr. Wagner Jr. Wager comes out with the Silver King and the two girls from earlier. Wagner talks on the mic. Wagner takes off his mask.

Pirata Morgan, Hija del Pirata Morgan (she is very popular with male fans online) and Rey Bucanero comes out. The female has a larger cake. Pirata talks on the mic. Pirata tries to nail Wagner with the cake but nails Silver King instead when Wagner ducks. They try again and Rey Bucanero nails Morgan's daughter on accident. Everyone fights. Thy destroy the Wagner pinata and hit Silver King with it (no, candy does not come out sadly). Wagner and Morgan fight in the stands like usual and Morgan hits him with a chair there. Wagner's head is banged off a table. Morgan spits something at Wagner. Rey Bucanero joins in on the beating on Wagner. Wagner is suplexed on a table which doesn't break.

Silver King, who is covered in cake, goes to check on Wagner. Morgan's crew poses in front of the ring.

We see La Pandemia walk in to the building.

La Pandemia (Gran Pendemonium, Pandemonium Jr and Hijo de Pandemonium) vs Aquiles, Rey Mictlan and Canis Lupus

La Pandemia are debuting here. They wear similar attire and I have no idea who is who, so I will just call them "Pand".

2 of the wrestlers bet booted out to start. The Pand's hit stereo headscissors and Aquiles dropkicks them out. A Pand flying headscissors Aquiles. Pand is popped up and goes face first into the top buckle. Pand then is crotched into the post. Everyone fight outside.

A Pand is sent into the post and one of The Pand's gets his mask ripped. Aquiles pulls on a Pand's arm and chin. A Pand is triple stomped on. A Pand takes corner attacks then a top rope 450 from Aquiles for 2. Another Pand is double stomped on.

A Pand is held in the air by 2 wrestlers and dropkicked in the gut. Another Pand is triple teamed and triple stomped on. Pand is back body dropped into the ropes but he rebounds and hits a spinning headscissors off of it. The other 2 Pand's hit springboard diving armdrags in stereo. The Pand's then hit 2 topes and a tope con hilo outside.

A Pand chops up Aquiles in the ring. Rey takes shots to the gut. Rey takes a double back elbow then a double boot out. Aquiles comes back in and is kicked. Aquiles is popped up and double kicked in the gut. Lupus is spinebustered and triple stomped on. Lupus takes a spin kick to the gut and a shotgun dropkick. The Pand's tease a triple basement dropkick but just straut and pose.

Lupus dropkicks a Pand out. Lupus double lariats 2 Pand's over the top. Lupus chops a Pand and Pand chops back. Lupus suplexes a Pand. Pand boots down Rey. Pand is dropkicked on a handspring attempt. Aquiles dropkicks a Pand.

Aquiles takes a canadian destroyer for 2. Rey hits a nice tope con hilo through the ropes. Lupus then topes outside. Aquiles flying space tiger drops outside.

All 6 men fight outside. Everyone excepts Lupus gets counted out and Lupus' team wins by countout.

Thoughts: The ending was lame here but the match was fine overall. We got a couple of dives and both teams got some offense in. Aquiles was in this one for most of it and there was rarely less than 3 people in the ring at any time. I'm not sure why we couldn't get a clean finish here but I wonder about a lot of things that happen on this show.

Overall thoughts: There was only one match here which was disappointing and that ended with a countout match. The match was okay otherwise though. We also got a longer segment with Dr. Wagner Jr. having a birthday celebration. Pirata Morgan's crew crashed it, cake flew and they brawled. I would give this a 4 out of 10 overall as only having one match sucked. It wasn't that good.

We join this in progress. Light hits corner spears. John ducks a lariat and hits punches. John shoulders him out of the ring. John then hits shots on him outside. Light double axe handles him in the ring and hits punches. Light chops him and lariats him down.

Light ddt's John for 2. Light chinlocks him. Light throws him down backwards. Light misses a corner charge and John rolls him up for 2. Light lariats John down. Light punches John in the head. Light clubs his back. Light slams him and elbow drops him for 2.

We go to break.

Brandon The Skater does a promo. He says life is full of surprises. He says Jovan will defend the title against him in a fans are the lumberjacks match. He says Jovan must be celebrating thinking that he can finally finish him off. Brandon says he has the most wins in stipulation matches. He says history won't repeat itself and he plans to finish him off and take the title that everyone knows belongs to him. He says he will finish him off and that's his problem if he doesn't like it. We saw this already.

"El Hostil" Jovan does a promo. He says he made history when the fans got behind him as he won the title. He says he has carried the division on his back since then and shown he is the best junior to ever exist in PR. He says they will be back to the fight they had at the end of last season and he says he will show him why he's the junior in PR and WWC. We saw this already.

We return from break.

Light chinlocks John. Light bends over and is kicked. John neckbreakers him. John hits punches and lariats him down. John corner splashes him twice. John samoan drops him for 2. Light chokeslams him for 2. John misses a corner splash, Light spears him and pins him.

Thoughts: We had a big surprise here with Lightning beating John mostly clean. I was shocked. It was acceptable but they didn't do a lot but the basics here. John doesn't move that well these days and Lightning has limited offense.

Lou Forza and Amaddeo Sole. Lou asks what the difference is between being desperate champs and calm champs like them. Lou says the desperate people make mistakes. Sole says what Mike and Oscar do is admirable because they are foolish. He says they don't get along anymore and they won't reach their level. We saw this already.

Mike Nice and Oscar Benabe do a promo. Mike says they should put their mistakes behind them and move forward. Mike says the tag titles belong around their waists. Mike says they will emerge victorious. Oscar says they won't make mistakes again. We saw this already.

WWC Puerto Rican Title - Xavant (c) vs "La Amenaza" Bryan vs Joe Bravo

This is from 7/18. We join this in progress. Bran hits punches on Joe then Joe takes punches from both opponents. Joe and Xavant slide out and fight outside. Bryan chops Joe outside and Xavant gets some shots in on Joe. Bryan forearms Xavant off the apron. Bryan then hits punches and chops on Joe.

Joe ddt's Bryan. Xavant knocks Bryan off the apron with a forearm. Joe hits punches on Xavant and russian legsweeps him. Joe then hits more shots on Xavant on the mat. Bryan's throat is pulled down over the top. Joe back elbows Xavant down.

We go to break.

Sai Perez says she will face 3 girls at the next show. She says those girls have already see the quality of her wrestling. She say she will make the girls sweat. She says she will them what it means to be a real fighter and says to find out on 8/29 if you don't acknowledge it. We saw this already.

Wilfredo Rivera does a promo. He says he faces Informante again and asks what he did to get a TV Title shot. He says he will only be able to grow as a wrestler when he faces challenges instead of running away from them. He says La Sombra isn't Informante's biggest problem, he is. We saw this already.

We return from break. Joe kneels on Xavant's throat then knocks Bryan off the apron. Joe chinlocks Xavant and uses the ropes for leverage.

Xavant hits him in the gut and swinging neckbreakers him. Xavant and Bryan shove each other. They shoulder battle then double lariat each other down. Joe pounds on Xavant. Joe takes punches from both opponents then takes a double back elbow. Joe is double lariated.

Joe takes a double chokeslam. Xavant and Bryan celebrate their work. Bryan dumps Xavant over the top. Bryan AA's Joe. Xavant throws Bryan out. Xavant splashes and pins Joe.

Thoughts: It was a simple one and it was fine. Xavant and Bryan tried to be friends here but kept getting into it. Joe mostly got double teamed here. We mostly just had basic offense in this but nobody botched anything and we got to see the majority of it.

Tony Leyenda does a promo. He says Xavant will say that he will fight at the next show with his heart and defend his homeland. He says Bryan will act like a dog call him "quefe" (a derogatory term). He says he's seen as the hypocrite though. Tony says he's the best and they know it and he'll become champ again and they know it. He says every time WWC puts him in an uncomfortable position, he comes out with his hand raised. He says he's a once in a lifetime athlete. He says he trains hard for this and will always come out on top. He says the two pigeons he is facing are friends of the bosses. He says he's the end. We saw this already.

Xavant does a promo. He says the champ has arrived and he thanks everyone in Aguadilla for the support. He shills the 8/29 show. He says someone in the office wants to make things difficult for him. He says when things get tough, the tough guys step up. He says Bryan stands in front of the camera like a tough guy and no one knows what he said. He calls Tony Leyenda a big shot and mocks him for wearing short shorts on camera. He says he's pathetic. Xavant says he's a man of his word. He says he fights for his country and will persevere until he triumphs as that is what heroes do. We saw this already.

Zcion RT1 does a promo. He says the war with Lightning has gone on for a decade. He says he remembers it and Lightning's partner Thunder. He says him and his partner ran into a surprise and it was seeing the revolution raise like foam. He says the rest is history. He says Lightning had to bring out Toledo, Forza and Sole last time to save him. He says it's time to put an end to this war. He says they will do it in Zcion's style in the cage of death. He says he will end his legacy once and for all. He tells him to enter the cage if he wants to be champ and take out the maximum leader. He says he will have to kill him and tells him to prepare for the fight of his life. He says he will end his legacy and show him that this is the time of the maximum leader. He says he will have a bunch of fans supporting him and seeing the legend get destroyed.

Axel and Abel talk and close the show.

Overall thoughts: We only had 2 new matches here. Hawking/Lightning was simple but acceptable and Lightning got a surprise win. The three way was fine and had a story with Xavant and Bryan having their issues. Almost every promo shown though was a repeat and that was lame. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as the two matches shown were fine but I wouldn't recommend this. It was acceptable overall.

WWE Smackdown 8/21/2026

We see various wrestlers arrive.

The hosts talk about Punk/Owens tonight.

We see clips of Orton and Cody's feud.

Sami Zayn complains to Nick Aldis in the back. He says he should be defending the WWE Title out tonight in his home country. He says it's due to Nick. He then complains about Nick wanting him to wrestle with his injured wrist. He asks what business Orton has getting involved when he lost to Cody.

Randy Orton comes in and says to continue. Cody Rhodes then gets on the mic in the ring and calls Orton out. Nick leaves and Sami keeps complaining. Orton then heads to the ring. Nick goes out and tells Cody we aren't doing this right now.

Randy Orton comes out. Orton says they have a day and time at Sunday Night's Main Event. He says he's beating his @ss in 2 weeks. Cody says what's stopping them from doing it now. Nick says no. Nick says if either of them touches the other one, neither will get a WWE Title shot again. Orton says he won't jeopardize himself "becoming a 15x world heavyweight championship " (yes he said it that way).

Orton says Cody was about to finish him off last week. He says if Cody swung that chair at him, he couldn't live with himself. Orton said when he did it, he had no regrets. Orton says he knows how to be the worst version of himself. He says Cody is and always will be a good guy. He says he's the American Daydream, not the American Nightmare. Orton says Cody asked who will kill the legend of Randy Orton? He says Cody didn't answer the question as it won't be him.

Cody says Orton will maybe break the title record but says Orton will still come back to him. He says it's not a prediction but a spoiler.

MFT talk in the back. Tama says he doesn't them talking trash now. Talla says the tag titles belong to them and they dare anyone to step up and challenge them. Tama tells Priest and Truth to come get the titles if they want them. Haku comes in and talks in his language. He says we will show them who the mother f*cking Tongan here.

WWE Tag Titles - MFT (Tama and Talla Tonga) (c) vs Damian Priest vs R-Truth

MFT attack at the start. RT is sent out. Tama hits shots on DP. They trade shots and DP flying forearms him. DP hits him in the corner. The War Raiders watch in the back. Tama back elbows DP then DP facekicks him down.

RT corner splashes Tama. Talla and Tama get sent out to the floor. RT slingshot plancha's Tama. RT punches Tama. Tama stun gun's him. Tama low lariats him for 1. Tama then hits mounted shots.

RT is thrown out. We go to PiP break and return. DP ear claps Talla then spinning high kicks him. RP headlock drivers Talla. DP top rope diving lariats Talla for 1. DP and Talla grab each other by the throat. Talla lariats DP down. Talla boots him and foot chokes him in the corner.

Talla misses a corner charge. Tama blocks DP's tag and DP spinning high kicks him. RT tags in. RT flying shoulderblocks Tama. RT blue thunders Tama. RT then hits a five knuckle shuffle. RT AA's Tama for 2.

DP lariats Talla over the top. DP jumps off the steps and double axe handles Talla. DP is knocked off the apron and Talla chokeslams DP on the apron. RT rolls up Tama for a close 2. RT hits punches on Tama. Tama swinging neckbreakers him. RT takes a high/low and is pinned.

Thoughts: The finish went as expected with Truth dropping the fall. There was no reason to have MFT lose here. It was fine but nothing too memorable. I have to think this is the end of the Truth/Priest team.

Priest gets in the ring and is mad. He helps Truth up and hugs him.

CM Punk is interviewed in the back. Punk says he thrives in pressure situations and hostile territories. He says KO is fighting ghosts in his head. He says he has changed while KO hasn't. He says he sees the same guy in KO from 20 years ago. Randy Orton then walks in. Orton says Punk looks good. Punk says after he whoops Cody's @ss, he'll be coming for #15. Punk says he's looking forward to it.

Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton talk in the back. Green says she will take her out to dinner for what happened last week. Tiff tells her not to come out tonight. Green says hi to Paige. Paige says she should be proud of herself.

Fatal Influence come in. Jacy says not to take advice from people who don't know how to keep a title. Jacy says it's a matter of time until they take the World Title. Paige says she wants gold and says she could take Jacy's US Title. Tiff has tape on her waist and Jacy says she can wrap tape around it while Jacy wraps gold around hers.

Blake Monroe is interviewed. She says she thinks she is star material and should debut in a title match. She says she will do what she does best and make everyone talk about her.

Blake Monroe vs Giulia

G = Giulia

BM nails G as she makes her entrance. She sends her into the floor and clubs on her. BM stomps on her and boots her. G is sent into the steps. BM headbutts her down and knee lifts her. BM neutralizer's her. BM's music hits and she leaves without this ever officially starting or ending.

Thoughts: Yeah, it wasn't really a match and Giulia just got beaten up here. But hey Giulia didn't lose, she just got jumped.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair talk in the back about getting drinks. Bliss wants to bring Tatum Paxley along. Tatum comes in and says she can't wait to hang out with them. She makes a joke about bloody mary's. Jade Cargill's crew comes in. Jade says Flair needed a freakshow to bail her out of the match. Tatum asks if they will come to brunch with them and asks which one of them is Mary as she needs their blood. Michin challenges Tatum to a match next week. Tatum is excited and says she would love it. Tatum then says Flair defended her.

Trick Williams and Lil Yachty come out. Trick says he has his dog back but not his title back. He says Baron Corbin doesn't want to face him 1v1. He says Baron is bald and walks around like a cue ball. Trick challenges him to come get this trick shot.

Baron Corbin comes out on a motorcycle. Trick says Baron is the one he is looking for and is the one Baron cheated out of the title. Trick challenges him for the title right now. Baron says the title is getting a haircut. He says Trick isn't getting another title shot as he lost. Baron says it's not happening tonight or anywhere. He says Trick and his friend can get out of his face. Yachty hits Baron with the trick stick. Baron goes out. Baron challenges him for Sunday Night Main Event, but says he wants Lil Yachty for 5 minutes in the ring. He says if he lives, Trick gets his title shot. He says if he beats Yachty, they are done for good. Yachty says Baron is on. Baron says it'll be the longest 5 minutes of his life.

Kevin Owens is interviewed. He says it's great to have a title match here. Finn Balor walks in. Finn says he was glad to see him at Summerslam but says a heads up would have been nice. Gunther walks in. Gunther says tonight's the night he can win the title and get back at Punk in front of his people. Gunther says not to worry about Finn as he's a shadow of himself. He says KO has to worry about him. Finn tells him to worry about winning the WWE Title and says he'll be waiting for him on the other side.

Tiffany Stratton vs Lash Legend

Tiff dropkick her in the knee and the chest. Tiff handspring back elbows her and Lash euros her over. Lash knees her in the gut. Lash slams her for 2. Lash bearhugs her. Lash blocks a sunset flip. Tiff clips her in the knee and backcrackers her. Tiff's tope is caught and Lash rams her back into the post.

We go to break and return. Tiff hits forearms and Lash forearms her down. Lash suplexes her. Lash misses an elbow drop. Tiff hits lariats and hurricanrana's her into the buckles. Tiff handspring stunner her. Tiff misses a top rope swanton. Tiff crucifixes her for 2.

Tiff is crotched on a double jump moonsault attempt. Lash hits a lash extension and pins her.

Thoughts: Big upset here. It made sense as Tiff flipped around, Lash caught her and slammed her. It was acceptable enough.

Nia legdrops Tiff after. Tiff takes a sandwich bodyblock. Chelsea Green comes out with a kendo stick. She hits Lash and Nia and sends them out.

Shinsuke Nakamura does a promo. He says he warmed MFT for weeks and they didn't listen. He says what's in the dark has finally come to light. We then see Hiromu Takahashi who says he is now Kyoki. He says he traveled the world and has come to WWE. He says the stronger they are, the more fun he has. Nakamura says Kyoki doesn't fear gold but enjoys it. Kyoki says he wants more gold and madness. Nakamura says MFT has championships for now. He says there will be an explosion when strong style and madness collide.

Thoughts: I'm not a big Kyoki/Hiromu Takahashi fan. He doesn't seem like a WWE guy at all and I don't expect this to work.

WWE World Title - CM Punk (c) vs Kevin Owens

They hockey fight to start. KO gets the edge on him and running lariats him. KO lariats him over the top. KO lays him on the top rope and punches him. KO chops him.

KO sentons Punk in the ring. Punk counters a stunner with a neckbreaker. We go to PiP break and return. KO hits punches and chops. KO drops him with a lariat.

KO hits punches on Punk and stomps him. KO lariats him outside. KO corner cannonballs him for 2. KO superkicks him outside. KO then splashes him from the rail through the commentary table. KO top rope swantons him inside for 2.

Punk hits kicks on him and high kicks him for 2. KO step up knees him in the corner and corner lariats him. KO top rope elbow drops him for 2. Punk puts him in the anaconda vice. Punk swinging neckbreakers him twice.

KO blocks a go to sleep and sharpshooters him. Punk pulls KO's throat down over the top rope. KO and Punk both get pushed into the ref and the ref goes out. KO stunners Punk but the ref is out. Punk hits a GTS on KO for 2. Punk goes for the pin but the ref is out.

Sami Zayn comes out as Punk tries to get the ref in. Sami sends Punk into the post. Sami throws Punk in. KO stunners Punk for a close 2. Sami slides the title in the ring for KO. Sami begs KO to use it on Punk. KO says no and gives him the belt back. Sami hits KO with the belt. Punk hits a GTS on KO and pins him.

Thoughts: I always hate when they do Owens face runs. He always gets booking situations like this where he does things that goes against the character like refusing to use the title on Punk. It was a good match otherwise. KO really brought the fight to Punk and worked hard. They had a nice pace and it was an exciting bout. I thought this was good.

Sami then hits Punk from behind with the title after. Sami then hits Owens and Punk with it again. Sami says Punk stole the title from him. He then raises it.

Overall thoughts: The WWE Tag Title match was fine. Blake beat up Giulia and it never started. Lash Legend beat Tiffany Stratton in an upset. I thought the main was good. It was an alright show overall and I'd give it a 6 out of 10. The main event is maybe worth checking out here.

We see clips from a recent show. Ray Gonzalez tells Chicano he's here because of him and not Victor Jovica. He says Chicano has become like Orlando Colon. He says they will have on the 29th and he will checkmate him.

WWC TV Title - Wilfredo Rivera (c) vs El Informante

We join this in progress. Informnate has another Informante with him. Wil side headlock takeovers him. Info backs him up in the corner and Wil punches him. Wil goes up and over him and side headlock takeovers him.

Info hits chops on Wil. Wil hits chops and Info goes out to recover. Info chops and forearms him in the corner. Wil then does the same to him. Info corner splashes him for 2. The other Info lariats Wil outside.

We go to break.

Brandon The Skater does a promo. He says life is full of surprises. He says Jovan will defend the title against him in a fans are the lumberjacks match. He says Jovan must be celebrating thinking that he can finally finish him off. Brandon says he has the most wins in stipulation matches. He says history won't repeat itself and he plans to finish him off and take the title that everyone knows belongs to him. He says he will finish him off and that's his problem if he doesn't like it.

"El Hostil" Jovan does a promo. He says he made history when the fans got behind him as he won the title. He says he has carried the division on his back since then and shown he is the best junior to ever exist in PR. He says they will be back to the fight they had at the end of last season and he says he will show him why he's the junior in PR and WWC.

We return from break.

Info chokes Wil on the ropes. Info chops him. Info blocks his sunset flip and the other Info tries to hold his arms, but the ref breaks it up. Info back elbows Wil for 2. Info armlocks him.

Info misses a corner charge and goes crotch first into the buckles. Wil hits punches and running lariats. Wil back body drops him. Info flips him and Will cutters him. Wil hits mounted corner punches. Info eye rakes the ref and the other Informante nails the ref. The other Informante switches places and top rope elbow drops Wil. The ref counts 2 but stops. The ref says the Info's switched places. The Info's then hit the ref but he doesn't DQ them.

La Sombra comes out. I don't know who he is but the announcers do. Sombra hits a double lariat on The Info's He dropkicks one of them but then is stomped. An Info tries to take off Sombra's mask. Rivera recovers and chairs an Info outside. Sombra low blows Info. Will chairs that Info and tries to pin him. The ref goes to count the pin and the other Info stomps him. The ref then counts the pin and Wil wins.

Thoughts: It was average as expected. Not awful or anything, just pretty basic wrestling here. The finish was super unusual as the ref got hit by The Informante's but didn't DQ them and instead kept it going. Then he counted the pin for Wil.

Lou Forza and Amaddeo Sole. Lou asks what the difference is between being desperate champs and calm champs like them. Lou says the desperate people make mistakes. Sole says what Mike and Oscar do is admirable because they are foolish. He says they don't get along anymore and they won't reach their level.

Mike Nice and Oscar Benabe do a promo. Mike says they should put their mistakes behind them and move forward. Mike says the tag titles belong around their waists. Mike says they will emerge victorious. Oscar says they won't make mistakes again.

Amaadeo Sole vs Mike Nice

We join this in progress. Mike's head is banged off the buckles. Mike hits punches on Sole and Sole pumping knees him in the back. Sole blue thunders him for 2. Sole hits punches. Mike fires up and hits mongolian chops and lariats. Mike backdrops him.

Mike picks him up. Lou Forza gets on the apron. Oscar Benabe comes out and punches Lou. Sole grabs Oscar. Mike runs at Sole to hit him but nails Oscar on accident. Sol boots Mike in the gut then pedigrees him. Sole then pins Mike.

Thoughts: They've been pushing that Mike and Oscar have been having issues and this is just another chapter in that story. We didn't get all that much of this one and what we saw was just average.

Sai Perez says she will face 3 girls at the next show. She says those girls have already see the quality of her wrestling. She say she will make the girls sweat. She says she will them what it means to be a real fighter and says to find out on 8/29 if you don't acknowledge it.

Wilfredo Rivera does a promo. He says he faces Informante again and asks what he did to get a TV Title shot. He says he will only be able to grow as a wrestler when he faces challenges instead of running away from them. He says La Sombra isn't Informante's biggest problem, he is.

Abel Durant talks about the Ray Gonzalez vs Chicano feud and shows us clips of it. We see clips of a Ray vs Chicano confrontation from the Aguadilla show with Ray running in, low blowing him and sending him out. Ray says the people know what a piece of work he is. He says Carlito, Orlando and Chicano can trick the people but he knows what goes on. He says Chicano used his wife's situation for handouts. We then cut away from that segment.

We see clips of the Lightning vs Zcion RT1 feud.

We see clips of the Orlando Colon vs Eddie Colon feud.

Eddie Colon does a promo. He asks if Orlando Colon really wants his job. He says he will have to make him bathe in blood for it. He says Victor Jovica doesn't want Orlando as GM. Eddie says for every drop of blood he sheds, Orlando has to shed double. He says to be prepared because he will go home in the ambulance. He says may God take care of him, because he won't.

Tony Leyenda does a promo. He says Xavant will say that he will fight at the next show with his heart and defend his homeland. He says Bryan will act like a dog call him "quefe" (a derogatory term). He says he's seen as the hypocrite though. Tony says he's the best and they know it and he'll become champ again and they know it. He says every time WWC puts him in an uncomfortable position, he comes out with his hand raised. He says he's a once in a lifetime athlete. He says he trains hard for this and will always come out on top. He says the two pigeons he is facing are friends of the bosses. He says he's the end.

Xavant does a promo. He says the champ has arrived and he thanks everyone in Aguadilla for the support. He shills the 8/29 show. He says someone in the office wants to make things difficult for him. He says when things get tough, the tough guys step up. He says Bryan stands in front of the camera like a tough guy and no one knows what he said. He calls Tony Leyenda a big shot and mocks him for wearing short shorts on camera. He says he's pathetic. Xavant says he's a man of his word. He says he fights for his country and will persevere until he triumphs as that is what heroes do.

Axel and Abel close the show and shill tickets for the next show. Axel says he spoke with Orlando and he's upset with a lot of things, but he can't say too much about it.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches here and neither were that gret. It was all promos and packages otherwise to build to the 8/29 show. It was a little below average and I wouldn't recommend this one. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 overall.
