AEW Collision 10/31/2026 Fright Night Collision

We are in St. Louis, MO. Tony Schiavone, Paul Wight and Nigel McGuinness are on commentary.

Tomasso Ciampa vs Matt Sydal

Matt has Christopher Daniels with him.

They lock up. MS ducks a chop in the corner. TC side headlocks him and shoulders him over. MS dropkicks him. TC stomps and chops him. MS leg slices him for 2. MS standing moonsaults him for 2. MS runs the apron and diving meteora's TC while he stands on the floor.

TC stalls outside and MS throws him. TC pumping knees him off the apron. We go to PiP break and return. MS jumps off the buckles and runs into a flying knee. TC chinlocks him. MS hits leg kicks on him. MS chest kicks him down. MS jumping knees him then high kicks him for 2. MS top rope plancha's him outside. 

MS is crotched up top. MS 2nd rope sunset bombs him for 2. MS pulls him down over the 2nd rope then low flying knees him in the corner. MS top rope moonsaults but TC gets his knees up for 2. TC flying pumping knees him. MS hurricanrana's him for 2. 

MS buzzsaw kicks him. TC hits project ciampa and a pumping knee. TC pumping knees him again and pins him.

Thoughts: Ciampa won as expected. It was acceptable but it didn't get the time to be anything too great.

Ciampa says he's the next National champ in the camera after.

The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) vs Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solo

Nick corner splashes Bob and hits shots on him. Nick corner splashes him four times more. Bobby back elobws him then throws Solo onto him. Bobby lariats Nick over the top rope. 

Solo chops SB and SB no sells it. SB germans Solo then release germans him. SB step up knees Nick. Bob running spears Nick outside. MVP then hits Griff Garrison and throws him in. SB germans Griff and Bobby spears Griff. 

SB step up knees Solo in the corner then Bobby spears Solo. Bobby running spears Solo. Bobby pins him.

Thoughts: It was all squash. This was a random one. Bobby hit a lot of spears here.

The Death Riders talk in the hall. Gabe calls Clark Connors and David Finlay snakes. He says they are fake b!tches. Gabe says they know how dangerous he can be. Gabe says  they are now 2 men down and they are coming at them to bang. Gabe says he will gut them both. He says it's not over until he says so. Mox says if we knew the hole he dug out of and understood them, they wouldn't say The Death Riders are outnumbered. Mox says they have been outnumbered the whole time. Shafir says the goal has been to be part of something that is bigger than them. Shafir says they did the hard work everyone else denied. Shafir says there's no army that will break their spirits. Yuta says they will show up with or without Claudio. Garcia says they are outnumbered in Anarchy in the Arena but they will get outmatched.

Persphone flips out after Dynamite. She says her title was taken. She says Queen Aminata wanted blood and guts so bad last year. She says there's a spot on those teams and she wants her title back.

Artist of Stardom Trios Titles - Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue) (c) vs Fuwa-Chan, Koguma and Hazuki

There were no explanations for who the Japanese are if you don't watch Stardom.

Hart offers a handshake and slaps Fuwa. Hart chops Fuwa in the corner. Hart running corner lariats her. SB cartwheel forearms Fuwa in the corner then Thek corner running forearms her.

Fuwa hits chest forearms on SB then takes a forearm. SB takes a double back elbow, a superkick, a bulldog and a double basement dropkicks. Haz and Kog hit stereo dropkicks. Haz's team does triple facewash kicks. SB takes running corner attacks and a double suplex. Fuwa basement dropkicks SB for 2.

Fuwa 2nd rope dropkicks SB for 2. Fuwa is sent out and Thek double stomps her back off the apron. We go to PiP break, full break and return. Haz topes out while Kog top rope plancha's out. Kog spinning cobra clutches Thek. Kog northern lights suplexes Thek for 2.

Hart standing moonsaults Kog for 2. Thek flying facebusters Kog then slaps her. Haz top rope dropkicks Thek. Kog 2nd rope crossbodies Thek. Haz sentons Thek for 2 then crossfaces her. Thek flying octopuses Haz then Hart and SB also put octopuses on at the same time on the other girls. Thek running facekicks Haz twice over the 2nd rope. Haz superkicks Thek then gets speared.

Kog is rolled into a forearm from Hart and Kog running cutters Hart. Fuwa and SB trade chest forearms. Fuwa hits a flurry of them then does an octopus on SB. SB breaks it up in the corner. SB facekicks her.

Haz top rope superplexes SB and Kog top rope splashes SB. Fuwa shining wizard's SB for 2. Hart takes a double ddt. Thek hits a double spear on Haz and Kog. Thek top rope plancha's outside onto all 3 girls.

Fuwa la magistral's SB for 2. Hart mists Fuwa. Fuwa is lifted for a swinging uranage. Hart pins Fuwa.

Thoughts: It was a random one and The Triangle won as expected. What we got was fine. Koguma thankfully didn't do the comedy here. Fuwa got featured the most here.

The Japanese grab The Triangle after and Koguma gets a shot in or two. Hazuki isn't pleased.

Joe, Shibata and Hook of The Opps do a promo. Joe says they used to be an entity that was seen as being unapproachable. Joe says that perception has been changed and people are barking in their presence. Joe says it's a failure in leadership or maybe a failure who they let lead. Joe says the man who came back and took out the TNT Title is back. Joe says the perception of The Opps will change or maybe they change the nature of the beast.

Ilja Dragunov vs The Beast Mortos

Mort sends him into the corner and ID chops him there. ID hits more chops and facekicks him. ID side headlocks him. They trade shoulders and chops. Mort shoulders him over and hits chops. Mort pop up samoan drops him for 2.  

ID tiger feint spinning lariats him. ID top rope dropkicks him. We go to PiP break and return. ID deadlift delay germans him. ID then germans him while hooking his arms around his inner thigh. 

ID flying facekicks him then stomps him for 2. ID top rope sentons him for 2. Mort torture rack backbreakers him and spinning lariats him for 2. ID fires up and they each hit mounted shots. They trade chops. 

Mort headbutts him down. ID powerbombs him down. Mort headbutts him in the chest and ID flying battering ram headbutts him. ID hits an h-bomb and wins.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but not much more. It was slower and heavy on the strikes. Mort isn't really a striker so it wasn't the best it could have been. ID won as expected.

Tomasso Ciampa comes out and waves at ID from the ramp after.

We get a video on Nick Wayne. He's walking around a city and bragging about beating Jericho twice. 

Mike Bailey vs Darius Martin

They lock up and Mik wristlocks him. DM rolls and cravates him. DM shoulders him over. DM then does a neat 619 move in the ropes where he does a baseball slide. DM rebounds off the ropes and armdrags Mike. 

Mike chest kicks him down. Mike hits chest chops and kicks. Mike flying headscissors him out then slingshot plancha's him. Mike facekicks DM outside. DM dropkicks Mike off the apron. DM hits mounted forearms. DM tornado ddt's him on the floor.

We go to PiP break, full break and return. Mike top rope dropkicks him. Mike axe kicks him and chest kicks him. Mike running ssp's him for 2. Mike superkicks him. DM hits forearms. DM standing spanish flies him for 2. Mike triangle moonsaults him outside. Mike lands feet first on a top rope ssp attempt. DM rolls him into a pin attempt for 2. Mike straightjacket sunset flips him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was shorter bout. Mike lost a tooth here or lost a false tooth he had. What we got was fine. It was a very random match though. I thought Darius looked good here.

Mike offers a handshake after. Darius doesn't want to shake but Daniels talks him into it.

Will Ospreay does a video on Kyle Fletcher. He says he came close before to winning the title but he has to get through Blood and Guts first. 

Divine Dominion vs Leela Feist & Nixi XS

Nixi's been getting around a bit lately. DD attacks as the bell rings. Nixi is sent into the rails and LF takes knees to the gut outside. The jobbers take stereo fallaway slams on the floor. 

Lena back elbows LF inside and Meg facekicks her. Meg hits a stiff release german on her. Nixi takes a dropkick into a german. LF is double chokeslammed onto Nixi and Meg pins both.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash and not much else. The jobbers lost as expected and took hard release germans.

Kris, Willow, Harley and Queen talk. Queen is excited about being in Blood and Guts. The faces ask if the heels are ready. Willow puts over her team. Kris says  they have a common enemy and says let's do it. Harley hypes up her team. 

Konosuke Takeshita vs Adam Priest

They lock up and KT wristlocks him. AP trips him and KT headlocks him on the mat. KT shoulders him over then flying lariats him. KT slingshot plancha's him. 

AP running corner lariats KT and chops him. They trade forearms and AP dropkicks him. AP euros, chops and forearms KT outside. KT ddt's him on the floor.

We go to PiP break, full break and return. KT headbutts him. They fight around the ropes. AP dropkicks him in the knee while it's over the 2nd rope. AP top rope diving tornado ddt's him for 2.

KT spinning blue thunders him. AP low back body drops him and half-crabs him. KT hits headbutts then does a head vice. AP jack knifes him for 2. KT pumping knees him then spinning forearms him. KT falcon arrows him and pins him.

Thoughts: KT won as expected in this random bout. AP worked the knee a bit before losing. I thought it was average.

Triangle of Madness does a promo with Persephone and Divine Dominion. Thek says all she sees are b!tches. Pers says Aminata stole her title and she will get her baby back. Hart says they made history last year and will make madness.

The Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong) vs. The Cut (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn & Juice Robinson)

Strong is triple teamed to start. Strong gets chopped by JR. JR shoulders over Strong then Strong dropkicks him. Kyle hits mounted shots on JR in the corner. Strong and OC then do as well. Kyle hits strikes on Austin. OC hits a suplex on Austin then the faces hit a double suplex on JR and Colt.

Austin is caught in the ropes. Austin lariats Kyle down. Kyle is choked by the heels. We go to PiP break and return. Kyle hits chest kicks on The Gunn's. Colt flying lariats Kyle for 2. 

Colt chinlocks Kyle. Kyle hits forearms on Colt and knees him in the face. OC and Strong fight on the apron while Kyle goes for a tag and they miss the tag attempt. Colt is sent face first into the 2nd buckle.  

Austin is back body dropped out. Kyle 2nd rope flying knees JR. OC comes in and is put down by Colt. RS jumping knees Colt. RS leg lariats Austin then fireman's carry gutbusters him. RS dropkicks JR through the ropes.

OC backrolls Colt for 2, topes Austin and 2nd rope twisting swantons outside. OC spinning ddt's Colt for 2. RS throws OS at the heels. RS throws OC into a ddt. Colt dropkicks RS. Colt crossover neckbreakers OC. Colt and RS double lariat each other down.

Kyle and JR trade forearms. JR hits punches on Kyle and Kyle ankle locks him. The Dogs run out and the faces go after them. Ace Austin gets on the apron and Jay White gives JR knucks. 

JR hits a forearm on Kyle (not even using the knucks). JR then pins Kyle.

Thoughts: It was acceptable to average. It wasn't anything you'd remember and it had a dirty finish. The Cut needed to win here though and did.

The heels attack after. JR punches out OC with the knucks then nails RS as well. The faces are then stacked on each other as the heels pose.

Overall thoughts: It was a very weak show matchmaking wise. The matches were just completely random and predictable. There was no effort put in at all to make some bouts that had stories and the stars weren't here. There was nothing that great or awful wrestling wise. It was a very average to acceptable night of in-ring action here. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 total and would not recommend this one. It was average.
