Big Japan Pro Wrestling 11/10/2024

There's not a lot of people at this one and BJW really shouldn't be running this building at this point.

Aragon and Dean Draven vs The Brothers Gray (Damian Gray and Salem Gray)

Ara backs up DG in Damian (lighter hair) in the corner then shoulders him over. Damian hits a big chop on him and side headlocks him. Ara takes a double dropkick. Dean and Salem get in. They shove each other and trade forearms. Dean hits a bunch of chops in the corner then lariats him for 2. Salem takes a corner attack then a suplex. Ara legdrops him for 2.

Ara is driven into the corner and takes a head kick. Salem hits a punch flurry. Ara takes a double russian legsweep for 2. Damian stomps on Ara's leg then 2nd rope double axe handles him. Damian tries to pin him with a foot on the chest. Ara lariats Damian then Damian slingblades him for 2.

Damian camel clutches Ara then Ara backpack stunners him for 2. Salem forearms both opponents and corner spears Ara. Damian corner splashes Ara. Damian hits a facewash kick on Ara. Ara boots Salem out of the corner and hits a 2nd rope diving shoulderblock.

Dean comes in and exploders Damian then germans Salem. Dean 2nd rope dropkicks Damian for 2. Ara throws Salem into the post shoulder first. Dean corner lariats Damian then Ara cutters Damian. Dean top rope flying headbutts Damian and wins.

Thoughts: The Gray's kind of look like Juice Robinson clones. Damian's the better one of the two and is more agile. Dean was not moving around well here at all. Ara tried some and maybe can kind of be a fun underdog face. The match was pretty average all around and I think the wrestlers were probably mostly just happy to be here.

Kazumasa Yoshida & Ryota Hama vs. Mari Hana & Yuya Aoki

Mari takes down Kaz. Mari rolls him. Kaz does a side headlock. Kaz goes for the hammerlock and is taken down. Kaz side headlocks him.

Yuya and Hama get in. They shoulderblock battle and Hama doesn't budge. Yuya tries a sumo chop flurry but Hama hiptosses him over. Hama lariats Yuya then elbow drops him for 2. Kaz chops Yuya in the corner then running facekicks him. Kaz tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him then facekicks him.

Kaz and Yuya sumo battle then Yuya throws him. Mari and Kaz go at it. Mari triangles him. Hama breaks it up with a simple crossface punch. Yuya springboard dropkicks Hama. Mari and Kaz trade forearms.

Mari hits a big forearm then Kaz dropkicks him. Mari lariats him over and Kaz spinebusters him. Kaz then jack knife pins him to win.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. It didn't get much time which was the main issue. Hama didn't get to do much here and it was a real waste of Yuya. 

Kaji Tomato, Kota Sekifuda & Pantera Jr. vs. Fuminori Abe, Ikuto Hidaka & Kosuke Sato

Sato and Kota go at it. They wristlock each other and Kota up kicks him. Everyone comes in an fails to hit dropkicks. Sato ends up being the only one standing then everyone decides to kip up together. Pat walks up the buckles and flips over abe. He then back body drops him and armdrags Sato. Pant then headscisors Hidaka out. Kaji and Kota hit stereo plancha's then Pant tope con hilos him.

Kaji gamengiri's Hidaka. Hidaka then spinning heel kicks him. Sato hits basement dropkicks on Kaji. Abe hiptosses Kaji then tries to pin him many times. Abe mise a corner charge and Kaji flip dives him off the top. Kota comes in and armdrags Abe. He then dropkicks Abe.

Kota hits a 2nd rope twisting crossbody on Abe and Sato then splashes Abe. Abe armdrags Kota and spin kicks him in the gut. Abe then kicks him in the back. Kota and Hidaka fight. Hidaka drops Kota on his knees and they blow a spot. Hidaka enzugiri's him then Kota backdrop backcrackers him.

Pant and Sato trade forearms. Sato headbutts him then Pant la magistral's him. Sato tops it and they trade pin attempts. Sato hits 3 dropkicks. Hidaka cartwheel kicks Pant in the corner then Sato sitout slams Pant for 2. Everyone starts hitting dropkicks on each other. Pant messes up a springboard then meteora's Sato for 2.

Pant does a fireman's carry gutbuster on Sato and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. They didn't get much time and it was half comedy. They had multiple botches and sloppy moves and this was just a real disappointing match here. This should have been good too.

Hidaka and Kota have words after and seem to set up a title match. 

Street Fight Death Match - Abdullah Kobayashi & Ryuji Ito vs. Dale Patricks & Mad Man Pondo vs. Kazumi Kikuta & Masaya Takahashi

Dale goes after Abby and Pondo sends Kikuta out. Ito takes a double shoulderblock then Abby hits his own double shoulderblock. Abby then misses a double elbow drop on the gaijin. Ito chairs Masa then takes a double suplex. Ito and Dale trade forearms in the stands.

Dale grabs a table and hits Ito with it. Ito is laid on the table. Dale jumps off the stair structure and splashes him through the table. Abby bangs the ring bell into MT's ear.

Abby and Pondo get tied together and choked with a cowboy together. MT powerbombs Dale onto a table then suplexes him through it. Pondo hits Kikuta and Abby with a stop sign. Pondo comes off the top and tries to drive Abby and Kikuta through a table but mostly just sends himself through it. MT lariats Pondo. We get a bad tower of doom spot.

Abby lariats Kikuta over. MT sticks something in Abby's nose then does a bad hip throw. Kikuta punches Dale then Dale hits an AA on him. Dale piledrivers MT for 2. Dale backdrops MT down on chairs and wins.

Thoughts: This was bad. It was slow. A lot of the offense looked awful and nobody came out of this one looking good.

Pondo says they are still baka gaijin BJW tag champs. 

Silver Bullet Death Match - Masashi Takeda vs. SAGAT

They shoulder each other and Takeda is shouldered over. Takeda is sent into aluminum can boards into the corner. Sagat rakes his head with one of the cans. They trade punches outside. Takeds hits him with a chair.

Takeda hits Sagat with scissors and legdrops him. Takeda then stabs him with scissors. Takeda rakes Sagat's head with scissors. They trade forearms. Takeda rubs the cans on Sagat's head. Takeda rakes cans on Sagat's back. Sagat gets a gusset plate put in his head.

Sagat puts a gusset plate in Takeda's head. They headbutt the plates into each others heads. Sagat rams Takeda hard into a gusset plate board. Sagat flying shoulders Takeda then backdrops him. Saga misses a splash on Takeda and goes into the ladder below him.

Sagat russian legsweeps Takeda on a ladder and Takeda basically lets him do it again. They both land on the ladder together so it's unclear why anyone would do this. Takeda shotgun dropkicks Sagat in the corner and running knees him. Takeda facebusters Sagat onto an aluminum can board.

Takeda chokes Sagat with a chain. Takeda chairs a chair into Sagat's face. Takeda climbs a ladder in the ring. Sagat trows him off of it then Sagat spinebusters him. Sagat splashes Takeda for 2. Takeda knees Sagat in the head for 2. Takeda headbutts Sagat.

Takeda climbs a ladder then top rope swantons a gusset plate board onto Sagat for 2. Takeda drivers him on a gusset plate board and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. The russian legsweep on the ladder spot was stupid as it clearly hurt both guys yet they allowed it. The selling was not good and they all got bloody off of it.

Drum Can Death Match - Yuko Miyamoto vs. Kankuro Hoshino

They have a metal barrel for this match in the ring that can be used. Yuko hits a flying headscissors early and sends Hoshino out. Yuko tries to throw the barrel at him but Hoshino moves. Yuko's head is banged off the barrel's bottom. Yuko jumps over the barrel when Hoshino rolls it at him.

Hoshino running back elbows him. Yuko rolls the barrel at Hosino and Hoshino is tripped by it. Yuko then poses on the barrel. Yuko slams him and drops the barrel on him. Hoshino tries to spear the barrel into yuko but of course hurts himself off of it.

Hoshino STO's Yuko. They roll the barrel at each other and Yuko falls over it. Hoshino slams him. Hoshino sits on top and Yuko throws the barrel at him. Hoshino is on the outside and Yuko throws the barrel at him. That can't be safe.

Yuko takes a back body drop onto a barrel then Hoshino lariats Yuko. Hoshino goes up top and is hit with the barrel lid. Hoshino puts the barrel onto Yuko then sentons it on him, hurting himself probably more than Hoshino. Hoshino hits Yuko with the barrel lid then puts the barrel on Yuko's head. Hoshino dropkicks the barrel on Yuko's head.

Yuko tries to sunset bomb Hoshino onto the barrel but overshoots and Hoshino lands on his neck. Yuko slams Hoshino. Yuko top rope moonsaults the barrel onto Hoshino and bounces off of it, landing hard on his neck. Yuko then wins.

Thoughts: This was just stupid. The barrel moves hurt the person doing it as much as the person taking it and both guys took some scary falls. They also did a lot of goofing around pretending to be tripped up by the barrel. This was awful and dangerous wrestling that should not be done again.

Daisuke Sekimoto, Takuya Nomura & Yasufumi Nakanoue vs. Jacob Crane & Okami (Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani)

YN = Yasufumi Nakanoue, Hash = Daichi Hashimoto, Kami = Hideyoshi Kamitani, Sek = Daisuke Sekimoto

Hash and YN go at it. YN grabs the leg and they trade wristlocks. Hash side headlocks him. Kami and Sek go at it. Kami takes him down and armlocks him. Sek headscissors him. Kami side headlocks him.

Sek leg locks Kami then Kami gets his legs split. Kami slams Nomura. Crane is tagged in. Crane armdrags him then Nomura headscissors him. Crane ankle locks him and Nomura ropebreaks. Nomura cravate takeovers Crane. Crane rolls him into an ankle lock.

Nomura flips out of a chinlock and straightjacket chokes Crane. Crane water wheel drops Nomura. Hash throws Nomura over. Hash low blows Nomura then facekicks him over. Hash step up knees Nomura in the corner. They trade some shots.

Nomura slaps Hash and Hash hits a hard forearm on him. Nomura misses a dropkick then hit sone. YN flapjacks Hash then corner lariats him. YN hits a top rope dropkick on Hash for 2. YN goes for a vader bomb but Hash gets his knees up. Hash chest kicks him. Kami flying shoulders YN then tagged in. Kami spinebusters YN for 2.

Kami goes up top and YN throws him down. YN knees Kami in the gut. Sek shoulderbreeakers Kami then low crossbodies him for 2. YN suplexes Sek for 2. YN single leg crabs Sek then Hash and Crane put submissions on at the same time. YN 2nd rope superplexes Sek for 2. Everyone comes in to do a move and Kami shoulders Sek over.

Crane hits machine gun chops on Sek then corner lariats him. Crane underhook suplexes him, Nomura and YN. Crane emerald flowsions Sek for 2. Sek takes a lariat + legsweep combo. Crane deadlift germans Sek for 2. Crane hits lariats on Sek then hits headbutts. Sek lariats him over then hits another lariat. Sek hits a top rope splash on Crane for 2.

Sek torture racks Crane and submits him to win.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag. There were no issues with it though the finishing move could have been a little better. It was pretty much all heavyweight wrestling here which was fine by me.

Sek then talks on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: It was a bad BJW show. The main was the only thing of value here. Everything else was comedy or bad hardcore wrestling. I'd give this one a 3 out of 10 and would not recommend it.

There's very few people here for this one. They claim 316 people came to this and I'm skeptical of that.

Necro Butcher is brought out in a wheelchair. He stands up and says he can't fight today. Pondo thanks the crowd and said Necro says he loves them all. Pondo says he will bring Necro around to sit with the fans. They then do a Necro Butcher chant.

Kaji Tomato & Kankuro Hoshino vs. Isami Kodaka & Zeke Andino

Hoshino does the Tomato dance with Kaji in an entertaining moment.

Zeke takes down Kaji then armdrags him. They trip each other and try to dropkick each other at the same time before standing off. Hoshino goes up and over Isami. He goofs around on an STO attempt then is STO'd. Kaji dropkicks Isami. Hoshino and Kaji hit running corner charges on Isami then goof around.

Kaji STO's Isami after a good minute of fooling around. Isami does a bad hiptoss move on Kaji. Zeke flying lariats Kaji then springboard lariats him. Kaji leg lariats Zeke then Hoshino flying lariats Zeke. Hoshino sentons Zeke for 2.

Kaji and Hoshino are pulled into each other then Zeke double lariats both. Hoshino rolls up Zeke then Isami kicks him in the head to break the pin. Isami tope con hilos Kaji. Hoshino spinning ofrearms Zeke then Zeke pepsi twists him for 2.

Zeke top rope swantons Hoshino and wins at 6:32.

Thoughts: It was pretty much all comedy here which is a shame as the match would have been good on its own. Zeke tried, but it felt like a night off for everyone else. 

Daisuke Sekimoto, Ryota Hama & Yasufumi Nakanoue vs. Jacob Crane, Kazumasa Yoshida & Yuko Miyamoto

YN = Yasufumi Nakanoue, Sek = Daisuke Sekimoto

Yuko and Hama go at it. Yuko tries to shoulder him over but can't. Hama knocks him over. Yoshida side headlocks YN. Crane and Yoshida go at it. Crane machine gun chops him. YN gets in and knees Crane in the gut. YN slams him. Sek gets in and chops Crane.

Crane chops back on Sek. Hama comes in and chokes Crane on the ropes. YN gets back in and vader bombs Crane. Crane forearms YN then high kicks him. Yuko and YN shoulderblock battle. Yuko knocks him over. Sek gets in and takes a bad flying headscissors from Yuko.

Yuko hits shots on YN then spinning heel kicks him. Yuko suplexes YN. YN back body drops Yuko. Sek gets in and collide with Yuko as they lariat each other. They mess up up another spot and Sek knees him. Sek misses an enzugiri and Yuko rolls him up. Sek running lariats him then YN handspring back elbows him.

Hama takes a 2v1 as Yoshida and Crane work him over. Hama double clotheslines them and elbow drops YOshida for 2. Hama splashes Yoshida and wins at 10:51.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. They kept tagging in and out which made it hard to follow and made it hard to get any momentum going. Sekimoto was terrible here as he botched multiple moves and moved like he was walking on a trampoline.

Kazuki Hashimoto & Kota Sekifuda vs. Kosuke Sato & Satsuki Nagao

Sato and Kota start us off. They lock up. Kota knocks him over then Sato dropkicks him. SN and Kaz square off. They trade forearms then Kaz lariats him down. Kota cutters SN over the top rope then slingshot double stomps him. Kota splashes him then SN STO's him.

Sato comes in and corner dropkicks Kota. He then hits a regular dropkick on him. Sato germans him then PK's him for 2. SN hits a nice dropkick on Kaz then Kota top rope dropkicks SN. Kota backdrop backbreakers Sato.

Kaz and Sato trade forearms. Kaz headbutts him in the chest then running kicks him in the corner. Kaz neckbreakers Sato for 2. Sato and Kaz trade forearms at a fast pace. Kaz death valley drivers him for 2. Kota pulls SN over the top then corkscrew dives him.

Kaz and Sato trade headbutts then Sato does a mean looking guillotine choke. Kota triesto break it and SN stops him. Sato drops Kaz with the choke and the ref stops it at 8:24.

Thoughts: This was really good. Nagao had a great night here and Kota/Sato always match up well together. The guillotine choke finish looked great here. I really liked this one.

Sato and Kota get on the mic after. Sato says something that causes the ring announcer to react. I think Sato and Kota set up a match against each other after.

Concrete Block Death Match - Dale Patricks & Mad Man Pondo vs. Masaya Takahashi & SAGAT

Pondo gets on the mic beforehand. He says him and Dale are happy as they are together with Necro. Pondo says they are "baka gaijin".

The Japanes run in and the fight starts. Necro is hit with a broom and MT hits Dale with the ring mats. Dalte hits MT with a cement block and they end up breaking it on the post. Sagat's head is raked on the cement and Dale is hit in the leg with a broom.

Pondo holds MT for a punch from Necro. Pondo cuts MT's head with a blade. Sagat gets help from Hoshino and they lift up Dale with a broom that's under his crotch. Dale then nails Sagat with the broom. Dalte hits Sagat in the back with a broom and MT swings a ring mat at Dale.

Sagat comes off the apron and nails MT when Dale moves. Sagat hits an F-U onto Pondo on cement. Dale is double hiptossed onto cement blocks. Pondo has cement blocks put on his back then Sagat slams a cement block on them.

Pondo is irish whipped into Sagat's cement block. MT takes a cement block to the gut from Dale. Dale then chairs him in the back. MT low blows Dale on the buckles then throws him into a two unfolded chairs with cement blocks on them.

Pondo breaks up a pin with a stop sign then nails Sagat with it. Sagat has cement blocks put in his crotch and Pondo hits them with a sledgehammer, though gets nowhere near his crotch. 

MT is put in tree of woe. He has a stop sign in front of his face and Pondo throws a cement block at it in a dangerous spot. Sagat chairs Dale then Dale chokeslams him on cement blocks to win it at 8:42.

Thoughts: It was good for what it was. It was chaos from the start and they used a lot of weapons on each other. No, it wasn't smart. No, there was not any actual wrestler, but it was violent and crazy. Most of the weapons shots looked okay here.

Pondo and Dale pose with Necro Butcher, who in a wheel chair, after. The Japanese throw cement blocks in the ring after. MT tries to throw a mat in and is  pulled to the back. 

Pondo and Dale get on the mic after. Pondo says this is their last match in Japan until July. They say they don't know when Necro will return but they will always be baka gaijin.

Dale and Pondo do a promo after. They say Dale is the new member of Baka Gaijin. Dale says it's not the last time you will see him. He says "to be continued". Pondo says "teach us how to lose" and Necro says "teach us how to be crippled in a wheelchair forever".

Barbed Wire Board & Missile Board Death Match - Abdullah Kobayashi & Ryuji Ito vs. Kazumi Kikuta & Yuki Ishikawa

The missile board is just a spike board. Ito and Yuki trade forearms. They try to send the other into the boards in the corners. Abby rakes Kikuta in the head with a weapon outside then Yuki and Ito fight outside. Yuki dropkicks Ito then Yuki is sent into the barbed wire board. Abby sends into the barbed wire board. Ito bangs the board into Yuki with a kendo stick.

Ito pushes Yuki's head into the spikes. Abby and Yuki try to push each other's heads into the spikes. Yuki's head maybe goes into it and he sells it. Ito foot chokes Yuki in the corner. Yuki and Ito trade forearms

Abby hits punches on Yuki then drops him with one. Ito chair shots a chair onto Yuki. Yuki top rope dropkicks him into the barbed wire board. Kikuta comes in and superkicks Ito. He hten corner dropkicks him. Kikuta 2nd rope kneedrops a barbed with board into Ito.

Ito splashes Kikuta then northern lights suplexes him for 2. Ito throws a chair at him then Kikuta enzugiri's him. Abby gets in and lariats Yuki. He then hits a shining wizard. Yuki flying elbows him then top rope dropkicks him. Abby takes a sandwich enzugiri and a double superkick.

A spike board is bridged on chairs. Abby's shirt i s taken off and he is double suplexed through the board. Abby gets a spike board double stomped on him from the 2nd rope by both opponents. Ito tries to help out but is knocked down by Kikuta. Abby headbutts Yuki then throws him down backwards on the spiked board. Abby sits on Yuki on the spikes with a bad crab and wins at 12:49.

Thoughts: It wasn't great but it was unoffensive. The weapons spots looked good and nobody did anything too stupid. I didn't love it but just not being bad is almost enough to be good for BJW's deathmatch crew. The spike boards were pretty cool looking here and were not the usual spike boards.

Takuya Nomura & Yuya Aoki vs. Okami (Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani)

Kami = Hideyoshi Kamitani, Hash = Daichi Hashimoto

Yuya takes Kami down then armlocks and headlocks him. Yuya headlock takeovers him, Kami headscissors him and they stand off. Hash and Nomura go at it. Nomura wristlocks him then Hash reverses it. Nomura elbows the arm. Hash takes a double shoulder then Yuya works his arm. Hash and Nomura trade shots and Nomura stomps his arm into the mat.

Hash blocks a PK then dragon screws him. Hash shoulders Nomura over then pulls on his leg. Kami bangs Nomura's leg off the mat then Nomura hits forearms on him. Kami kicks him in the leg then 2nd rope elbow drops the leg. Hash 2nd rope elbow drops Nomura's leg.

Hash pulls on Nomura's leg and slams him. Hash knee drops him then leg kicks him. Nomura misses a dropkick then Hash kicks him in the leg. Nomura dropkicks him. Kami and Nomura go at it then Nomura slams him. Yuya chop flurries Hash then handspring back elbows him.

Yuya tope con hilos then springboard dropkicks Hash. Hash low blows Yuya then running facekicks him for 2. Kami comes in and shoulder shoulders Yuya in the back. Kami then hits a nasty spinebuster/spear for 2.  Hash no sells Yuya's 2nd rope hurricanrana then Hash shoulders him over.

Yuya suplexes Hash. Nomura and Hash go at it. Nomura suplexes him for 2. Hash running facekicks Nomura then hits some slams. Hash running step up knees Nomura for 2. They trade chest kicks. Nomura exploders him off a kick then Hash uranage's him.

Nomura and Hash trade forearms on their knees. They get up and trade. Hash drops him with a forearm then falcon arrows him for 2. Nomura armbars him. Nomura hits kicks on Hash's arm. Hash slaps him then Nomura slaps back. Hash spinng legsweeps him. 

Kami shoulders Nomura over then 2nd rope shoulderblocks him for 2. Nomura takes a double suplex and a double kick to the back for 2. Kami slams Nomura then top rope elbow drops him for 2. Nomura then crucifixes him for 2. Nomura germans him  then Hash germans Nomura. Yuya exploders hash then Kami lariats Yuya over. Nomura lariats Kami over.

Yuya top rope dropkicks Kami in the front and back for 2. Nomura lariats Kami over then Kami lariats Yuya for 1. Kami top rope splashes Yua for 2. Yuya backslides Kami with a bridge for 2. Kami suplexes Yuya for 2 then brainbusters him for 2. Kami running lariats Yuya. Yuya presses him down on a backdrop and lariats him. The time limit then expires.

Thoughts: The leg work on Nomura killed this match. Okami did a fine job working the leg, then Nomura tagged out and it was forgotten about. This made that whole part of the match useless and hurt this one. And it's a shame because it was a decent 30 minute draw otherwise with good looking offense and stiff shots between guys who work each other all the time.

They all talk on the mic after and the BJW theme song plays. They then pose together for photos.

Overall thoughts: The first two matches sucked. The Kosuke Sato tag was really good and the deathmatches weren't bad. The main had good work but they spent a large portion of it on legwork that went nowhere which brought it down. I really couldn't give this more than a 5-6 out of 10 when it could have been much higher on another day.

Kaji Tomato, Kazuki Hashimoto & Kosuke Sato vs. Jacob Crane, Shigehiro Irie & Zeke Andino

Kaji and Sato do Kaji's dance before the match.

Kaji and Zeke start us off. Kaji ducks a lock-up and poses. He armdrags Zeke and they trip each other then try stereo dropkicks. Kaz and Crane get in. Kaz side headlocks him. Crane snapmares him and kicks him in the back. Kaz kicks him in the back. They kick each other in the back a few times each. Kaz misses a PK and is rolled up. They then stand off.

Irie and Sato go at it. They trade forearms. Irie hits strikes and Sato dropkicks him. Sato headbutts him then takes a black hole slam. Crane hits forearms on Sato then hits machine gun chops. Sato boots him out of the the corner and Kaji flip dives onto Crane. Sato bodyslams Crane for 2.

Sato guillotine chokes Crane but Crane deadlifts him into a suplex. Sato takes corner attacks. Zeke sweeps Kaz on the apron then Irie crossbodies Kaz's back on the apron. Kaji plancha's onto Irie then Zeke springboard plancha's outside.

Crane chops Sato then Sato cradles him. Sato la magistrals him for 2 then rolls him up for the win.

Thoughts: It was too short for the amount of people involved. We barely saw any of Kaji here. Crane needs to drop some weight and get bigger trunks. What we got was a real condensed version of what this maybe could have been.

G Shock Death Match - Kankuro Hoshino, Masaya Takahashi & Yusaku Ito vs. Kazumi Kikuta, SAGAT & Yuki Ishikawa

Ito's team is attacked before it starts. Hoshino and Yuki trade forearms inside. Hoshino side headlocks him and shoulders him over. Hoshino double chops him then Yuki dropkicks him. Hoshino kicks Yuki in the gut then slams him on cement blocks.

Hoshino is back body dropped on cement blocks. Kikuta sends Masaya into the post then Sagat and Ito duel with chairs. Sagat punches a chair away and elbows Ito in the head. Cement blocks are set up in a row. Sagat misses a splash and lands on them then Ito misses headbutts and a 2nd rope attack and lands on them. Sagat splashes Ito on the blocks.

Ito and Sagat ram blocks at each other then Masaya comes in and throws the blocks around. Masaya throws a block at Sagat to catch then throws a block at him which Sagat blocks with another block. Masaya chairs Kikuta.

Kikuta superkicks Masaya then drops him crotch first on the chair top edges. Hoshino flying lariats Kikura then Sagat samoan drops Kikuta. Yuki top rope dropkicks Ito. Yuki flying forearms Masaya. Sagat corner cannonballs Masaya then Yuki blue thunders Masaya for 2.

Masaya has a chair thrown at his head then Hoshino sto's Yuki on a chair on cement. Masaya throws Yuki down on a chair on cement and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a fast paced and kind of rushed trios match. We didn't get to see that much of anyone here. That did limit some of the no selling and other stupidity though so in some ways that's not a bad thing. It was fine for what it was.

Sagat and Masaya fight after and Masaya throws chairs at him. Hoshino then has Masaya slam him on cement blocks after for unknown reasons.

TLC Death Match - Abdullah Kobayashi & Daiju Wakamatsu vs. Yankee Two Kenju (Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto)

Abby and Yuko are given flowers pre-match. Yuko boots Abby before it starts. They take a picture then Abby hits Yuko with the flowers and the girl who gives it to them is ushered out.

Abby lariats Yuko over and they go out. DW shoulders over Isami then running forearms him. Isami armdrags DW onto a chai then drops the chair on his head outside. Abby and Yuko fight in the aisle way in the crowd. Yuko face kicks Abby then DW hits Isami with the flowers. DW puts a flower in Yuko's nostril. Isami and DW fuel with the flowers outside.

Abby pulls Yuko down backwards then Yuko boots him. Isami top rope dropkicks Isami inside then slams him. DW stacks chairs on Isami then flipping swantons onto them. Isami takes a double dropkick then Abby's team misses a double team on him.

Yuko gets stuck on the buckles. Abby picks up DW in the powerbomb position to suplex Yuko onto a table. Isami holds Yuko and Abby powerbombs his own partner through the table. Yuko hits Abby with parts of a table then shining wizards him.Yuko top rope corkscrew moonsaults onto a ladder on Abby and wins it.

Thoughts: Like the first two matches, this was short and kind of rushed. It was somewhat entertaining but far from what it could have been with more time.

Chicharito Shoki & Kazumasa Yoshida vs. Astronauts (Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura)

KY = Kazumasa Yoshida

KY and Nomura go at it. KY has newer tights and some armbands. They lock up. KY wristlocks him then Nomura takes him over. KY headscissors him. Shoki and Abe go at it. Shoki chops him then armdrags him off the ropes. Abe takes corner attacks from both opponents then Shoki is lifted for Jacky Kamei's kick flurry.

Abe forearms and boots KY. Abe takes him down by the arm and armlocked by Abe. Nomura gets in. Nomura armbreakers KY then stomps the arm. KY and Nomura trade forearms. Abe gets in and trades with KY. Ky spinning forearms him down. Shoki gets in and flying headscissors Abe. Shoki double dropkicks Abe and Nomura out.

Shoki planchas both opponents outside then hits dropkicks on Abe inside. Abe spin kicks Shoki then kicks him in the back. Abe hurricanrana's Shoki then Shoki single leg dropkicks him. Shoki flying knees him.

KY and Nomura go at it. KY face kicks him then flying back elbows him in the corner. Nomura back elbows him then hits a nice dropkick. KY backdrops Nomura. KY lifts Shoki and helps him tornado ddt Nomura. KY suplexes Nomura.

Abe and Ky fight. Abe slides him and then baseball punches him. Abe does an octopus to him then Shoki torture racks Nomura while Abe does it. Abe breaks that hold up. Nomura germans Shoki then KY cutters Nomura and Abe.

KY pops Shoki up to the top for a hurricanrana on Abe. KY then running knees Abe for 2. KY tombstones Abe for 2. KY spinning forearms Nomura then running knees Abe for 2. Abe flips over a KY knee then Nomura armbars KY. Nomura taps out KY.

Thoughts: It was a good tag and was notable for Yoshida stepping up and hitting some new offense. It was a neat dynamic here as Abe and Nomura are usually the underdogs yet found KY and Shoki as the underdogs here. It was fun to see the roles reversed and KY and Shoki did a good job hunting for the big win.

Daisuke Sekimoto, Ryota Hama & Yasufumi Nakanoue vs. PROJECT HAVOC (So Daimonji, Tempesta & Tyson Maddux)

YN = Yasufumi Nakanoue, Sek = Daisuke Sekimoto

Tyson and Hama go at it. Tyson side headlocks him and they shoulder battle. Hama shoulders him over. Sek and So go at it.  They test strength. So armdrags him, Sek headscissors him and they stand off and tag out. Temp and YN go at it. They shoulder battle and Temp dropkicks him in the knee. YN hits forearms to the gut then Temp flying hurricanrana's him. Temp hits running corner euros. So slams YN then uranage backbreakers him. So sharpshooters YN.

Tyson forearms YN then shoulders him over. Tyson corner splashes him then hits an oklahoma stampede. Tyson then splashes him for 2. YN gets his foot up as Tyson goes into the corner. YN suplexes Tyson. Sek gets in and corner spears Tyson. Sek racks Tyson.

Sek fights off a 2v1 hitting dropkicks on Temp and So. Tyson does a nice leapfrog then dropkicks Sek. So dives off the top to punch Sek then does a headhunter to him. So corner lariats Sek then fallaway slams him.

So superman punches Sek for 2. So and Sek trade shots. Sek headbutts him and germans him. They lariat each other at the same time twice and both go down. Temp and Hama get in. Temp hits running forearms. Hama hits clubs then corner splashes him. Hama elbow drops him for 2 then misses a splash.

Hama takes corner attacks then takes a double spear from Tyson and So. Temp pump kicks Hama then Sek deadlift germans him. Sek takes a double shoulder then So topes Sek outside. YN hits a big lariat on Tyson. Temp eye rakes Hama then Hama shoulders him over and splashes him for the win.

Thoughts: The finish was kind of lame here without much build to it. It was a decent match here with everyone getting some shine. Tyson looked good here. It needed more time though.

BJW Junior Heavyweight Title Match - Ender Kara (c) vs. Kota Sekifuda

Kara throws down a BJW shirt. Kota hits forearms on Kara then Kara armdrags him. Kota headscissors Kara and basement dropkicks him. Kara does a nice dropkick on Kota then is pulled over the top. They trade shots on the apron. Kara high kicks him then handspring kicks him off the apron. Kara tope con hilos Kota outside.

Kara throws down the BJW shirt again, spits on it and rubs his foot on it. Kara hits chest kicks then footchokes him in the corner. Kota boots him out of the corner and is put in an octopus. Kara slaps him around and forearms him. Kara hits kicks. Kota misses a springboard twisting crossbody then ddt's Kara.

Kota rolls Kara into a cutter. Kota does a cobra clutch on him. Kara sleepers him and Kota bites the fingers. Kota double chops him then springboard twisting crossbodies him.

Kara rebound germans Kota then chest kicks him. Kota's head is banged off the buckles then Kara springboard double stomps his neck. Kara PK's him for 2. They trade pin attempts. Kara shoulder throws him then gets a 2 count on a pin. Kara high kicks him then guillotine chokes him. Kota suplexes him then suplexes him into a backbreaker.

Kota misses a 2nd rope frogsplash then Kara ties up both of his arms and one of his legs. Kara top rope 450's him. Kara sliding lariats him then does an underhook suplex for 2. Koa lariats him and they trade shots. Kota headbutts him then does a backbreaker for 2. Kota top rope splashes him for 2. Kota backdrops him and wins it.

Thoughts: I thought this one ran long and it didn't have a much of a story to it. The action was okay but it wasn't a great match.

BJW Tag Team Title Street Fight Death Match - Crazy Lovers (Masashi Takeda & Takumi Tsukamoto) (c) vs. Dale Patricks & Mad Man Pondo

TT - Takumi Tsukamoto

Pondo gets on the mic and thanks the crowd for helping Necro Butcher. He said they are Baka Gaijin.

The Japanese are attacked before it starts, Dale and TT fight outside and Pondo is sent into the post. Pondo uses a saw on a stick on Takeda  and TT is sent into the post. Pondo suplexes Takeda on the exposed floor then throws TT into the post. Dale is powerbombed from the apron through chairs.

Pondo and TT fight over a gusset plate. Pondo has the plate put in his head and then he is basement dropkicked. Takeda hits Dale with a gusset plate bat in the body then in the face with it. Takeda stabs Dale with the plate. Takeda and TT put the plates into their own head. 

Pondo breaks up a 2v1 and Dale's hands are taped together. Pondo scrapes Takeda's head with a blade then does it to Takeda. Dale takes a double hiptoss and TT is slammed by Takeda onto chairs on Dale. Dale has a chair chaired into his head.

Dale and Takeda hit each other outside. Takeda takes a blade to Dale's head then Pondo uses the blade on Takeda's head. Takeda takes a double shoulderblock then Pondo hits him with a stop sign. Pondo sledgehammers a cement block into Takeda's crotch for 2.

Dale beats up TT outside and Pondo cuts at Pondo's gut with a blade. TT uses his oversized sledgehammer (the hammer part is two empty gas canisters taped together) on Pondo then Dale hits TT with it. Dale chokeslams Takeda for 2. Dale uses his sledgehammer on Pondo on accident. Dale takes a knee + superkick combo then Takeda slams Dale. Takeda swantons a chair and a gusset plate bat onto Dale for 2.

Dale hits forearms on Takeda then Takeda knees him for 2. Takeda backdrops Dale onto chairs for the win.

Thoughts: There was basically no wrestling at all here and it was all hardcore stuff. The hardcore stuff wasn't anything too special. I hated them putting gusset plates into their own heads as it made it seem like it didn't really hurt. 

BJW Death Match Heavyweight Title Barbed Wire Tribulation Death Match - Hideyoshi Kamitani (c) vs. Ryuji Ito 

Kami = Hideyoshi Kamitani

They basically have barbed wire all over the place here minus one section of the ring. They also have barbed wire platforms set up on two sides of the ring.

Kami wristlocks him and Ito gets out. Ito trips Kami and Kami falls into the barbed wire boards. Ito side headlock takeovers him on the barbed wire then they get up and stand off. Ito is slammed on the wire. Kami shoulderblocks him against the ropes, tries again and falls through the barbed wire boards outside. Ito hits a barbed wire punch and pushes Kami's head into the wire.

Ito chairs a barbed wire board into Kami then whips him into a board. Ito is sent into the board then Kami pounds the board into Ito's back. Ito is slammed onto a board then Kami squeezes lemon juice into Ito's cuts. Kami single leg crabs Ito then elbow drops a board into Ito's back.

Kami is hiptossed into a board which is leaning against a chair. Kami is put on a table outside then Ito top rope splashes him through the table. Ito hits Kami with a piece of the board. Kami spinebusters Ito and hits a forearm flurry on him. Kami running shoulders a board into Ito for 2.

Kami slams Ito on a board. Ito throws a board at Kami's head. Ito superplexes Kami onto chairs for a 1 count. Ito puts tables onto top of tables with barbed wire boards on them. Ito is slammed through the double stack of barbed wire boards and tables.

Ito is buried under barbed wire boards and Kami top rope elbow drops him. Ito sunset flips Kami for 2. They hit each other with barbed wire boards then ram the boards into each other. They trade forearms and Ito drops him with a punch. Ito is powerbombed off the 2nd buckle. He jumping knees kami and northern lights suplexes him for 2. Ito top rope frogsplashes barbed wire into Kami.

Kami barbed wire lariats him then suplexes him. Kami drops a bucket of lemons on Ito and lariats him. Ito is backdropped and pinned.

Thoughts: It was a long and slow match with not a lot of crowd heat. It was a better effort than usual as they did try to sell some and gave things time to sink in. But it being long, slow and heatless killed what they were going for here.

I think Yuko Miyamoto challenged Kamitani after.

BJW World Strong Heavyweight Title Match - Yuya Aoki (c) vs. Daichi Hashimoto

Yuya fireman's carry takeovers him and rolls out of a wristlock. Hash blocks his takedown attempt and they stand off. Yuya side headlocks him. Hash tries to backdrop him out of it but Yuya holds on. Hash face kicks him then Yuya hiptosses him and kicks him in the back. Yuya hits a chop flurry on Hash.

Yuya hits forearms then Hash forearms him over. Hash then exploders on him hitting soccer kicks and stomps. Hash forearms him down then hits stomps and kicks. Yuya forearms him and hits pieface shots. Hash bullies him with kicks while he's down. Hash suplexes him and hits a kneedrop for 2. Yuya blocks a kick then Hash chest kicks him.

Yuya dragon screws him. Yuya handspring back elbows him using the ropes then flipping sentons him for 2. Hash hits slams and facekicks him. Hash hits a stiff knee to the body then stf's him. Yuya suplexes him on the apron then springboard dropkicks him for 2.

Yuya 2nd rope hurricanrana's him for 2. Hash spin kicks him in the chest and is ddt'd off a uranage attempt. Yuya shining wizads him and Hash pump kicks him. Yuya exploders him then Hash uranages him. They trade forearms on their knees. Yuya step up enzugiri's him and Hash forearms him.

Yuya chops him then Hash ddt's him. hash chest kicks him then does a falcon arrow. Yuya step up enzugiri's him, germans him and hits another step up enzugiri. Hash release germans him then shining wizards him. Hash slaps him. Yuya blocks a step up knee in the corner then Yuya spiral bombs him for 2. Yuya springboard dropkicks him. Hash piledrivers him for 2.

Hash germans him for 2 then shining wizards him for 2. Yuya headbutts him then tiger suplexes him for 2. Yuya hits a big lariat for 2. Yuya hits lariats and pins him.

Thoughts: Yuya got dominated early here and Hash really powered up to bully him around. Yuya made his comeback, taking a lot of 3 Musketeers moves and eventually got the win. The selling wasn't good here and it didn't pick up too much in pace until the end. I thought Hash trying to use the 3 Musketeers moves to try and win was an interesting story here but I felt Yuya didn't get enough offense in and didn't really up things to the next level to make this great. They also could have used a bigger spot or two here to sell this as a big match more.

Overall thoughts: It was a long show. It was a good effort by BJW though some of the matches didn't really hit like they were supposed to. The Astronauts tag match was the best thing on the show. They tried in the main and semi main but neither ended up being the classic they had tried for. The tag title match wasn't any good and the junior title match was so-so. I wouldn't recommend this one.

They say they have 118 fans for this one and I'm not sure if I buy that.

Daisuke Sekimoto vs Kosuke Sato

Sato trips him and Sek takes him down. They mat wrestle and regroup. Sato backs him up on the ropes and dropkicks him. Sato then hits another dropkick. Sato hits forearms in the corner. Sek running armdrags him then does a nasty surfboard type of move. Sek stomps him.

Sato hits forearms and Sek leg kicks him. Sek hits machine gun chops. They trade shots and Sato goes down. Sek ties up his legs and pulls. Sek misses a corner charge then Sato hits a nice dropkick. Sato flying corner dropkicks him then slams him down.

They trade forearms and Sato headbutts him. Sato PK's him for 2. Sato grounded guillotine chokes him then Sek shoulder breakers him. Sek low crossbodies him while he's seated for 2. Sato rolls him into a guillotine choke then Sek hits a nasty gordbuster. Seki then does a stretch muffler and taps him out with it.

This wasn't the best opening match as it was slower. It was okay but not their best work possible. Sato did not get that much in here. 

Kazuki Hashimoto, Kota Sekifuda & Satsuki Nagao vs. Astronauts (Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura) & Masaki Morihiro

MM = Masaki Morihiro

Abe and Kaz start us off. Kaz headscissors him then Abe cravates him. Nomura snapmares Kaz then is put in a hammerlock. Kota wristlocks Nomura then Nomura fireman's carry takedowns him. Kota takes a double back elbow then MM hits forearms on Kota. They go head to head and MM hits chest slaps.

Nagao pounds on MM then MM takes a double shoulder block. MM takes knee drops and elbow drops. Nagao slams MM then Kaz kicks MM in the back for 2. MM chest slaps Kota then Kota slams him. Kota hits a splash for 2 then uranage backbreakers him.

Kota boots MM then MM tornado ddt's him. Nomura forearms and slaps Kota. Nomura face kicks him then hits a dropkick. Kota takes a double kick. Abe face kicks Nomura on accident and Nomura slaps him for it. Kota then uses Abe to hit a magic killer on Nomura.

Nagao backdrops Nomura then Nomura PK's him hard. MM and Nagao fight. Nagao blocks a tornado ddt and running forearms MM. Nagao STO's MM for 2. MM and Nagao trade then  Nagao is held for a dragon sleeper. MM and Nagao trade pin attempts for 2. Nagao dropkicks MM then brainbusters him for 2. MM then gets a surprise pin on Nagao and wins it at 9:11.

It was an okay trios match and would have been better suited as an opener. We didn't get to see much of really anyone here except for Morihiro. They kept this one moving.

Yasufumi Nakanoue & Zeke Andino vs. PROJECT HAVOC (Ender Kara & So Daimonji)

YN = Yasufumi Nakanoue

Zeke and Kara start us off. Kara side headlock takeovers him. Kara ducks a high kick then ducks a PK. Zeke flying headscissors him then dropkicks him. Kara dropkicks him in the knee then enzugiri's him. So works on Zeke.

YN gets in and slams So. YN elbow drops him then they shoulder battle with So getting knocked down. Zeke tornado ddt's So for 2. So takes a double shoulder then YN backdrops him for 2.

So uppercuts YN then YN reverse ddt's him at 5 minutes. So spinning back elbows him and they trade shots. YN germans him then So spinning lariats him. So flying lariats YN. Zeke and Kara go at it.

Zeke hits running shots and then pepsi twists him. Zeke springboards and runs into a superman punch from So. Zeke takes a corkscrew kick into a suplex then Kara PK's Zeke for 2. Kara spin kicks YN in the gut then So fallaway slams YN.

Zeke and Kara trade. Kara hits chest kicks then Kara high kicks him. Kara hits a high underhook ddt and gets the win here at 9:02.

These guys were not going to have a bad match here and they didn't. It was fast paced. The heavies stuck to strong style stuff and the juniors did their fast paced offense. It was what you would want and expected out of it and I'd be down for a main event version of this tag.

Kara gets on the mic after. He talks in half-English and half-Japanese. He said he wouldn't have the title without him and said his group loves him and can't thank him enough. So translates for him. Kara says he will defend his title worldwide and said he wants to change the game. Kara then thanks the crowd.

Zeke does a promo after. He said it was a tough fight tonight and BJW has some of the toughest opponents. He said he stood toe to toe with the champ many times and felt like he held his own. He says he will be back in BJW this year.

Kara thanks So and said there would be no PROJECT HAVOC without him. He says Zeke should be proud of himself. He said someone has to earn their shot back to the title and he says he wants into Best of the Super Juniors this year.  He said he's one of the best free agents in the world and says Project Havoc is changing the game.

Daichi Hashimoto & Kazumi Kikuta vs. Kazumasa Yoshida & Yuya Aoki

Yuya and Kikuta go at it. Yuya face kicks him then Kikuta later comes back with a lariat. Yoshida and Hash go at it. Yoshida rolls him up. Hash hits knees to the body then low blocks him. Hash then running face kicks him. Yoshida then kicks the rope into Hash's crotch.

Hash face kicks Yuya. Yuya goes after Kikuta on the apron. Kikuta hits kicks and forearms on him then Hash kicks Yuya's back. Hash slams Yuya then Kikuta axe kicks Yuya. Kikuta shotei's him then uppercuts Yuya.

Hash chinlocks Yuya then stomps on him. Hash slams Yuya then double knee drops him. Hash chest kicks Yuya then Yuya legsweeps him. Yoshida water wheel drops Hash for 2. Hash rakes and slaps Yoshida's back.

Kikuta running shotei's Yoshida then dropkicks him in the corner. Yoshida legdrops Kikuta over the neck while he's bent over. Yuya springboard dropkicks Kikuta then hits a chop flurry on him. Yuya running forearms him then flipping sentons him. Yuya abdominal stretches Kikuta then Yura blocks Kikuta's forearms with his head. Kikuta misses a double stom poff the top then Yoshida full-nelson bombs him.

Yuya springboard dropkicks Kikuta then Kikuta superkicks him off a missed shotei. Yuya hits a lariat on Kikuta and wins it at 11:28.

They actually tried here and inserted some personality to this. Even if the match wasn't perfect, they didn't let it get boring when it really could have been a lame affair otherwise due to Yoshida's and Kikuta's limitations. 

Concrete Block Death Match - Kankuro Hoshino vs. Takumi Tsukamoto

Takumi has a giant mallet with him that looks cool. Hoshino has words for him then sets up some concrete blocks. He sentons himself on them like a dummy then Takumi tries to hit him with the mallet. Hoshino blocks a mallet shot then hits Takumi in the gut and chest with it.

They fight outside and Hoshino eye rakes him. They get on the ramp and tease something happening there but nothing happens. Takumi face kicks him then Hoshino spears him. Hoshino sentons blocks into Takumi, hurting himself as much as Takumi.

Takumi blocks an STO, hitting elbows to the back of the neck then he superkicks Hoshino. Takumi hits Hoshino with the mallet for 2. Takumi slams him on cement blocks and misses a vader bomb style elbow, causing him to elbow the blocks. Hoshino shoulders him over then Takumi is slammed on the blocks. Hoshino 2nd rope sentons him on the blocks.

Hoshino goes up top again and misses a 2nd rope senton, landing on the blocks. Hoshino and Takumi grab blocks then ram them into each other, breaking the blocks. Hoshino STO's him for 2. Hoshino takes an alabama slam on blocks on a chair. Takumi swings a block at a block on Hoshino's head and wins it.

This had the usual issues with Hoshino matches with him hurting his own self on the blocks on purpose. Past that, they kept this moving and did better than I expected. The battle on the ramp wasted a bunch of time here. The finish was real wild with Hoshino having a block banged into his head with another block.

Barbed Wire Board Death Match - Abdullah Kobayashi & Masaya Takahashi vs. Daiju Wakamatsu & Yuki Ishikawa

MT = Masaya Takahashi, DW = Daiju Wakamatsu

MT and DW start us off. DW lays barbed wire boards on the mat and sits down. DW mounts him and both try to send the other into the wire. They block headlock takeovers in a creative spot and stand off.

The boards are put back in the corners then Yuki and Abby go at it. Abby is sent into the board then DW is sent into the other board. MT chairs Yuki outside then Yuki chairs him back. Yuki busts Abby open with a chair shot then Abby goes ti sit in the stands. Abby forks Yuki then gets forked.

DW wraps barbed wire around Abby's head. Yuki puts a spike in Abby's head then Abby has a cowbell rung on his head. Abby hits DW in the throat then they headbutt battle. DW hits a big headbutt then misses a flipping senton on him. Abby elbow drops him.

MT throws a barbed wire board at Yuki's head while he's on the apron then he bulldogs DW. MT throws a chairs at DW's head then hits him with the chair edge in the head. DW is ddt'd on a chair for 2. DW spinning heel kicks a chair in MT's head then Yuki flying forearms MT.

Yuki shining wizards MT for 2. MT takes a double suplex onto barbed wire boards. MT does an interesting drop on Yuki then Abby shining wizards Yuki. DW top rope dropkicks Abby and codebreakers MT. MT takes a double dropkick then MT takes a blue thunder + back cracker combo. MT takes a high reverse ddt and is pinned at 12:22.

It was an okay deathmatch tag. Because it was a tag, they didn't have to sell as much and that helped things. Not great or memorable in anyway but they kept it moving, the bled and we got a couple of nice spots in before it ended.

Moonlight Darkness Death Match - Ryuji Ito vs. Hideyoshi Kamitani

They have light tube stacks in the corner. They turn the arena lights off and light the tubes up. Unfortunately, cheapskate BJW didn't prepare enough tubes and it's real hard to see anything. BJW Core is also only in 480p so the  weak video quality makes it even harder to see.

They battle for basic holds early then grab chairs. They duel with the chairs and shoulder battle. They go outside and fight where Ito gets his head banged off the post. Kami's head is then banged off the post. Ito's back is banged into the post.

Ito hits Kami with a kendo stick then smashes the board into him with kendo stick shots. Ito rakes Kami's back then chairs his back. They fight over a tube and someone gets hit with it. Kami sharpshooters him.

Kami slams Ito then Ito kicks tubes into his back. Ito breaks tubes on Kami's head then rubs them into his head. Kami lariats him off the 2nd rope then spinebusters him. They trade forearms and Kami stunners him. Kami rams a tube into him.

Ito hits him with a chair while he's up top then I think Kami gets suplexed on some chairs. The tubes that are lit up are put on Kami. Ito top rope splashes him. Kami seems to no sell it and brainbusters him for 2. Kami backdrops Ito on the other lit up set of tubes and wins it.

I won't be rating this one. It was too hard to see most of the match. Maybe in person this wasn't an issue, but it was really hard to watch through video. It was a real dumb moment by BJW that could have been fixed by adding more tubes or just by giving up and turning on the lights.

Overall thoughts: The main ruined what was an otherwise good show from BJW. You just couldn't see anything due to the lights being out and due to BJW not using enough light tubes in it. The opening and midcard matches were fine and the only other match I didn't like was the Hoshino/Takumi match due to Hoshino driving himself into concrete blocks like usual.

Kazuki Hashimoto and Yuya Aoki vs Daichi Hashimoto and Takuya Nomura

Nomura and KH go at it. Nomura headlock takeovers him and is put in a headscissors. DH and KH go at it. DH is backed up into the corner and tags out. Yuya armdrags DH then DH yanks his arm. Nomura kicks Yuya in the back and Yuya tells him to do it again. Nomura face kicks him and hits a nice dropkick.

Nomura slaps Yuya then Yuya face kicks him. Yuya hits chest slaps on Nomura then Nomura suplexes him. DH face kicks Yuya and hits kicks on him. DH flying knees him in the corner for 2.

Yuya rolls him up for 2 then legsweeps him. KH is tagged in and running knees DH in the corner. KH kicks DH in the back for 2. DH is put in an ankle lock while Nomura is put in a cobra twist. Nomura chest kicks and slaps Yuya then Yuya exploders him. KH ankle locks DH.

DH dragon screws KH then STF's him. DH then wins it at 7:07.

It was a short but okay opener. Yuya and Nomura put out a good show as always here with some hard slaps and face kicks.

Daisuke Sekimoto & Kazumasa Yoshida vs. Abdullah Kobayashi & Drake Younger

The ref pats down Abby. I don't know why. It's BJW. He's not getting DQ'd. Sek and Drake start us off. Sek wristlocks him and Drake rolls through it, putting his own wristlock on. Drake trips him into a side headlock then Sek upkicks him.

Abby and Sek get low and Seki rides his back. Rek rolls him into a pin attempt and Abby rolls out. Abby then goes out and says "wrestling". Abby and Yoshida go at it. Yoshida hits chops then pulls Abby's shirt off. Yoshida then chops him. Sek chop flurries Abby.

Yoshida belly slaps Abby then Sek chop flurries AEW. Sek chop flurries Drake while he's in the corner with Abby. Abby ddt's Sek then Drake hits punches and stomps on Sek. Drake headbutts Sek and is caught on a crossbody attempt. Sek then swinging side slams him off of it.

Yoshida back elbows Drake then hits a nice dropkick. Drake cradle shocks Yoshida for 2 then Abby lariats Drake. Drake and Abby pull their pants down and hit shining wizards in their trunks. Yoshida takes a double elbow drop for 2. Abby abdominal stretches Sek and Drake vertebreakers Yoshida to win it at 6:58.

It was a short match that was mostly comedy. Yoshida had one of his better showings here with a nice dropkick and some personality.

Abby and Drake pose on the ramp after. Abby says this is strong style after. He says this is deathmatch and this is wrestling. Drake says they will fight in any circumstance, whether it's strong style, deathmatch or flying. Drake says him and Abby are coming for the tag titles in 2024.  They then show their love wristbands off.

Jack Bennett & Kankuro Hoshino vs. Yankee Two Kenju (Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto)

Yuko's team is jumped as soon as this starts. Yuko is sent into the table and the ladder in the corner and the leadder nearly falls down on Jack. Hoshino and Yuko fight for a ladder and Yuko swings it at his head several times.

Isami russian leg sweeps Hoshino on a table then does it on a ladder as well. Isami then russian legsweeps him on chairs. Yuko dropkicks Hoshino out then then does Naito's pose for some reason. Hoshino gets mad at this and hits him for it.

Hoshino punch flurries Yuko then Yuko chop flurries him. Yuko is up top and is thrown down. Isami and Hoshino go at it then Hoshino STO's him. Hoshino and Jack then do a "too sweet". Jack hidden blades Isami then running knees him. Jack goes for the one winged angel then Hoshino lariats Jack on accident. Yuko tombstones Hoshino.

Yuko grabs a bat and does a rainmaker pose then ripcords him into a baseball bat leg shot. Isami does Mutoh's pose then shining wizards Jack to win it at 6:59.

This was all comedy like the last match. I don't know what the deal was with the guys all doing wrestler impersonations here. Hoshino was funny as usual though. 

Hoshino says they lost today but won yesterday to Jack. Hoshino said his Kenny Omega impersonation was good. Jack said he hasn't won yet since coming to Japan. He says he's waiting for it and says ganbatte.

Barbed Wire Board Death Match - Green Phantom & Satu Jinn vs. Masaya Takahashi & Yuichi Taniguchi

The Japanese attack as soon as they get in. Jinn is thrown out and they brawl outside. YT chokes Green then MT bangs Jinn's head off the post. Jinn bangs Masaya's head off the apron.

Masaya is thrown into the barbed wire board in the corner then Jinn samoan drops him. Green half-nelson drivers Masaya for 2. Jinn chokes Masaya on the ropes and Masaya's head is banged off of Green's foot. Green says he has a big green boot for his face. Masaya takes a double back elbow then a double suplex.

Jinn misses a splash on Masaya. Masaya dropkicks a barbed wire board into him. Green is double flapjacked onto the barbed wire. YT hits chops and throat thrusts on Jinn. YT walks the top rope with Jinn's arm then YT throws him off the top. Jinn then splashes YT.

Green elbow drops YT for 2 then Jinn shoulders Masaya over hard. Green spinning ddt's YT then splashes him. Green then hits blackout on him onto a barbed wire board to win it.

It was a short one here. Not that bad for what it was but they only had 7:38 to work with. I was surprised to see Taniguchi take the blackout bump into the barbed wire.

Green and Jinn do a promo after. They said they aren't here for a long time, but a good time. And a good time is smashing Japanese people in the face. Jinn thanks Japan for letting them run through their best talents. 

Fuminori Abe, Kota Sekifuda, Yasufumi Nakanoue & Zeke Andino vs. PROJECT HAVOC (Ender Kara, Leyton Buzzard, So Daimonji & Tempesta)

LB and Kota go at it, trading wristlocks. LB fireman's carry takeovers him and they stand off. LB pops up Kota and he slips on the landing, taking a buttbreaker. Kota shakes his hand then boots and eye rakes him. LB hits a nice dropkick.

Temp and YN go at it. They shoulder battle. YN slips and falls then knocks Temp over. Temp running euros YN then YN backdrops him. Temp double lariats YN and another opponent. Temp and So then hit stereo corner lariats and bang their opponents backs together. Kara and LB then join in and we get 4 stereo fallaway slams.

So flying lariats Abe then Abe spin kicks him and back kicks him. Abe slaps him then So spinning lariats him. Kara and Zeke trade forearms. Kara hits kicks then a shotei. Zeke spinning forearms him then falcon arrows him for 2. Kota tornillo dives outside. Kara rebound germans Zeke then corkscrew kicks him.

Zeke takes corner attacks from all opponents then takes a double suplex. LB running ssp's him then Kara PK's him for 2. Zeke springboards and gets caught in an octopus. So's team puts their opponents all in submissions at once and gets the tap out win at 9:05. 

They had 8 people here and 9 whole minutes for them. It was short and rushed but they did make it entertaining.

LB and Abe slap each other after but shake hands. So gets on the mic after and thanks LB and Temp, since this was going to be their last BJW match for a while (as of March 2024, they haven't returned). Temp unmasks after and he thanks the fans. LB tells the fans he loves them and thanks them. 

Zeke said Project Havoc was too good tonight and they will get them after.

Project Havoc did a promo after. So says Havoc is a worldwide unit. Kara says it's not a farewell, it's a see you later. Kara tells Temp and Buzzard to take over the world. He says they will stay on top all day and everyday. Temp talks in German. Buzzard said the last 4 months have been the best months of his life. He said it may be the last time you see us together for a while but it's the beginning of Project Havoc. He says they are here to take over and says it's just see you later. They then say, "We are Project Havoc".

Fluorescent Lighttubes Death Match - AKIRA & Crazy Lovers (Masashi Takeda & Takumi Tsukamoto) vs. Daiju Wakamatsu, Kazumi Kikuta & Ryuji Ito

They fight at the bell and most of them go out. Kikuta headscissors Akira and Akira headstands out of it. Akira headlock takeovers him then ankle locks him. Akira northern lights suplexes him then sliding lariats a tube into him. Kikuta flying kicks Akira then stabs him with a tube.

Daiju breaks a tube on Akira's head then stabs him with the fragments of it. Daiju legdrops him for 2. Kikuta kicks tubes into Akira's back. Ito chairs a stack of chairs onto Akira then foot chokes him.

Ito hits Akira with tubes. Ito puts tubes in Akira's mouth and Akira spits them at him. Akira then running knees him. Kikuta throws Ito after then slams him. Akira corkscrew elbow drops Ito for 2.

Ito and Kikuta ram tubes into each other then trade forearms. Kikuta forearms a tube into him. Ito axe kicks tubes into Kikuta's head. Daiju and Takeda go at it. Takeda shotgun dropkicks tubes into him then Takeda does it to him.

Takeda and Daiju headbutt each other then Daiju spinning heel kicks tubes into Takeda. Daiju underhook suplexes Takeda. Takeda pops tubes into Daiju's face then uranages tubes on him. Akira hits Daiju with tubes then forearms him. Daiju slams him then flipping sentons him for 2.

Kikuta corner lariats and corner dropkicks Akira. Daiju top rope dropkicks Akira then Akira takes a buzzsaw kick from Kikuta for 2. Akira double stomps Kikurta's back. Akira back enzugiri's Kikuta then does a driver on him for 2. Akira top rope sentons tubes into Kikuta and wins it.

It was another short match that went 11:16. It was a total spring here with them going full speed the whole time. Not a lot of selling here and we didn't even see how some of these guys got bloody.

Akira does a promo after. He said he's been undefeated this tour and Pondo won a title. He said now he gets to fight The Crazy Lovers. Akira said he'd fight or team with Takeda anytime or anywhere and they pound middle fingers. 

Fluorescent Lighttubes Death Match - Necro Butcher vs. Hideyoshi Kamitani

Kami takes him down and they do some amateur wrestling for a bit. Kami front face locks him. Necro slaps him then Kami rushes at him with forearms. Necro gets busted open then hits mongolian chops. They trade chest chops and go outside.

Kami hits him with tubes and Necro headbutts him. Necro slams him on the floor. They fight in the seats and Necro takes Kami outside. Necro's head is banged off a door and he gets lariated and choked on the bleachers. Necro is then suplexed on the floor.

Kami puts him in the stretch plum then slams him. Necro chairs Kami and botches some tope rope move, making Kami roll down. Necro neckbreakers him then hitsa piledriver. Necro camel clutches him.

Necro hits corner lariats on Kami then is sent into the buckles. Kami hits a nice lariat. Kami comes off the top and gets double knees. Kami hits a nice lariat for the win at 16:18.

I thought it went longer than it needed to and just wasn't great. There were some signs of promise here but it was slower and they spent too long on the amateur wrestling to start things.

Kami says something and goes to leave, then Necro tells him to get back in. They shake hands. Necro interrupts Kami's promo after. He says he's the past and Kami is the future.

BJW Death Match Heavyweight Title Lighttube Death Match - Madman Pondo (c) vs. Yuki Ishikawa

Violent J of the ICP is out there with Pondo. Pondo swings a saw on a stick at Yuki and Yuki dropkicks him. Pondo is thrown into the tubes on the ropes then Yuki breaks a tube over his head. Yuki stabs him with the tubes then Yuki's head is banged off the post. Pondo uses an axe to chop a tube into Yuki's back.

Pondo uses the saw stick on Yuki, running it up his back, butt and crotch. Pondo cuts him up with a razor/knife then figure fours him. Pondo hits him with tubes while keeping the hold on. Yuki makes a comeback and top rope dropkicks him.

Pondo short arm lariats Yuki then hits him with a stop sign. Pondo side slams him for 2 then spinning side slams him for 2. A set of tubes is bridged on chairs then Pondo is powerbombed on them for 2. Yuki throws a stack of tubes at Pondo then throws another. Yuki throws another stack of tubes at him then knees a stack of tubes into Pondo's face to win it.

It was all hardcore wrestling here with nothing else. I thought it was boring to be honest. That axe shot on the tubes didn't seem real safe no matter how it was done.

Pondo grabs the title after and gets on the mic. He said he and Violent J want to thank BJW fans. Pondo thanks Yuki after and gives him the belt. 

Pondo and Violent J do a promo after. Pondo thanks everyone and said they are still two wicked. J said the next time they come, expect more carnage.

Overall thoughts: They had a lot of matches and a lot of people to put on the show, but not a ton of time. Most of matches on the show didn't get enough time, though the short undercard matches weren't bad for what they were. They had some of the pieces for a good one in the semi-main, but it was longer and slower than it should have been. I didn't care for the main. A couple of the Project Havoc guys had their last matches in BJW here as well. I wouldn't recommend this one.

Daichi Hashimoto & Takuya Nomura vs. Satsuki Nagao & Yuya Aoki

 

Hash and Nagao start us off, trading basic holds. Hash headscissors him twice and rolls him up. Nomura and Yuya fight. Yuya takes him over by the arm then trips him. Nomura snapmares him and gets his hand bitten. Nomura hits kicks to the leg. Yuya challenges Hash to kick him in the back and he does. Yuya then opts to chinlock him instead of kicking him.

Hash face kicks Yuya then is suplexed. Yuya chest chops Hash then exploders him. Hash exploders Yuya then Nomura machine gun chops Yuya. Yuya hits a handspring back elbow on him .

Nagao hits running forearms on Nomura for 2 then Nomura suplexes him. Nagao backdrops him then Nomura takes running corner moves. Hash takes some as well as they do them at the same time. Nagao fisherman suplexes Nomura and they trade forearms. Nagao slaps him and knees him on the ropes. Nomura then dropkicks him for 2. Nomura PK's him for 2 then bow and arrows him for the submission at 9:55.

It was a little longer than it needed to be but it was an okay opener with them putting some effort into it. There were no big bumps but they did show spirit here.

Yuko Miyamoto vs. Zeke Andino

They wrestle around and Zeke flying headscissors him. Zeke then hits a dropkick. Yuko hits chops then headscissors him. Zeke step up enzugiri's him in the corner then flying forearms him. Zeke pepsi twists lariats him and Yuko gets his knees up on Zeke's swanton. Yuko does the WAR special to him then Yuko overhead belly to belly suplexes him.

Zeke slingshot lariats him then falcon arrows him for 2. Yuko is whipped into the corner and hits a lariat out of it. Yuko then standing moonsaults him and does a double scissor armbar to him. Zeke spinning forearms him and takes a kick combo. Yuko powerbombs him for 2.

Yuko slams him and hits a top rope moonsault picking up the win at 6:13.

They didn't have a lot of time here and they didn't fool around much. It was a short match. No big story or anything to it but it was acceptable for what it was. Yuko's double arm submission was a new one here.

Fuminori Abe, Kazuki Hashimoto, Kazumasa Yoshida & Kota Sekifuda vs. PROJECT HAVOC (Ender Kara, Leyton Buzzard, So Daimonji & Tempesta)

Abe and Kara stare down and go at it. Abe side headlock takeovers him and face kicks him. Kara enzugiri's him then misses a PK. Temp and Hash go at it. Temp wristlocks him and they trade some holds. Temp shoulders him over. Kara takes offense from all opponents including a standing moonsault from Buzzard.

So punches Hash in the gut then hits corner spears. So fallaway slams him then Kara kicks him in the back. Hash ddt's Kara then Kota gets in. Kara drops down to duck a chop and is double chopped. Kota springboard twisting crossbodies him then Kara shotgun dropkicks him. Yoshida gets in and hits a dropkick, then takes a 3v1. Yoshida does a dropkick + senton spot on his opponents.

Yoshida squats on a brainbuster on Buzzard. Buzzard catches a knee and slaps him. Yoshida back elbows him then Buzzard dropkicks him. Yoshida takes attacks from all 4 opponents ending in a death valley driver. Buzzard 450 splashes him for the win at 8:08.

This was just one of those "get everyone on the card" matches. It was short and there wasn't a ton to say about it. Kara looked good as usual here and Yoshida showed some personality for a change.

Barbed Wire Board Death Match - Masaya Takahashi & Yuichi Taniguchi vs. Jack Bennett & Kankuro Hoshino

All 4 fight as soon as intros are done then go outside. Jack is sent into the post and is eye poked by YT outside. YT armdrags Jack and both tag out. Masa and Hoshino fight. Masa hits a nice dropkick and tries to send him into barbed wire. Hoshino does a taunt and has a board thrown at his head for it. Hoshino eye rakes Masa then sends him into the barbed wire board.

Hoshino rakes barbed wire on Masa's head. Masa and Jack can't organize to do a double team due to the language barrier. Jack uraken's Masa and Masa's head is banged into Hoshino's foot. Masa's head is put in the barbed wire then Hoshino throws a barbed wire board at his head. Hoshino goofs around from the STO position and ends up taking one himself.

YT mongolian chops Hoshino then double throat thrusts him. YT running double knees Hoshino then drops a knee into his crotch. YT walks the top rope with Hoshino's arm then is thrown off of it. Hoshino misses a senton. Jack and Masa trade shots. Hoshino STO's Masa. Masa takes a spin kick, flying lariat and a michinoku driver for 2.

Jack northern lights suplexes Masa then Masa hip throws him. Jack is thrown down chest first then jackhammered on chairs and barbed wire. Masa pins him at 9:32.

I don't know if the Jack and Hoshino miscommunications were planned or not here but they were the big story of this. It was to the point like most of the matches on here have been so far. I didn't think it was that great.

Hoshino and Jack try to communicate after. Hoshino says tomorrow they will win but says today was bad communication. He says let's forget today. 

Daisuke Sekimoto vs Green Phantom

 

Both bring out their flags and say they love their countries. Green then wants to trade flags out of respect. They then hold up each other's flags and Green nails him from behind. Green chokes him with the flag then bangs his head off the apron. Green chokes him more with the flag.

They fight outside, trading shots. Green chokes him. Sek hits shoulders on him then Green hits chops. Sek spears him and hits mounted shots. Green boots him out of the corner, stomps and elbow drops him. Green lifting ddt's him for 2 and they battle for a german suplex. Green low blows him then corner splashes him.

Green has his chest on his shoulder and throws him down for 2. They trade forearms and Sek headbutts him. Green gets nailed in the leg then Sek stretch mufflers him. Sek wins via submission at 6:33.

The finish wasn't that good here. Green carried this one with his antics, yelling at Sek and the crowd for most of this match. Sek didn't get that much in here.

Sek holds his flag up after and says he loves Japan. Green holds his flag up too.

Green does a promo after. He said he is a legend in Canada and underestimated Sek. He said like all smart, green people he learns from his mistakes. He says Japan will get with the green baby. Sek says he loves Japan. 

Fluorescent Lighttubes Death Match - Ryuji Ito vs. AKIRA

Akira has short hair now and a clean shaven face. He looks like a totally different person. Ito does a side headlock takedown and is rolled into an armbar. They wristlock each other and Akira leglocks him. They grab tubes and Akira back elbows one into him with an enzugiri. Akira forearms tubes into him then corner dropkicks him.

Akira hits him in the head with a tube. He then stabs him in the body and head with it. Ito's head is put into a trash can and Akira chairs him. Akira stabs him with the tube then Ito northern lights suplexes him on the chair. Akira then is sent into the tube ropes. Ito chairs him and breaks a tube on his head. Akira starts bleeding and is punched with the tube outside.

Ito slams him on the ramp then kicks tubes into his back. Akira grabs a leg and takes tube shots on the head. Ito then stabs him in the spine with a tube. Akira lets him get some free shots in yelling "f*ck you". Akira PK's him for 2 and stomps a tube into him. Akira does a chair with a northern lights suplex for 2.

Akira goes up top and Ito bangs tubes off of Akira's head. Akira sets up a chair house and superplexes Akira onto it. The chairs really don't budge much so you know it hurt. Akira kicks out at 1 then has a chair thrown at his head. Ito shining wizards him for 2 then axe kicks tubes on his head. Ito top rope frogsplashes tubes on him for 2. Akira bulldog chokes him then germans him. Akira buzzsaw kicks a tube into his head then top rope sentons tubes onto him to win it at 13:29.

As often with Akira matches, the match shows potential early but then they do too much and the selling gets bad. That's what happened here. Had he not no sold some of the stuff and did less, it would have been maybe even a good match. They had no luck at all with the tubes here as they didn't break multiple times.

Akira thanks him after and Ito thanks him back. Akira says the baka gaijin is here. He said he believes in deathmatch wrestling and pro wrestling. He says if you think you are tough, come to Big Japan. He says he's the future and present of Big Japan.  

Akira does a promo after. He said 2024 is the year of the dragon and he slayed the dragon here. He said no deathmatch, no life. He says if you are bad, you come here. He said the strong and deathmatch divisions are the best. He says to come through Ishikawa and Akira. He says he will be the deathmatch champion in 2024 and yells baka gaijin. 

Fluorescent Lighttubes Death Match - Abdullah Kobayashi & Drake Younger vs. Crazy Lovers (Masashi Takeda & Takumi Tsukamoto)

All 4 fight to start. Takeda hits shots on Drake. Drake runs through a tube clothesline and hits a double flying clothesline. Drake then top rope moonsaults outside. Takumi is sent into the post then has a tube bumped into his head. Takeda stabs Abby with a fork, getitng it stuck in his head. Drake's head is banged off of tubes.

Takeda stabs Abby with a tube in the stands then Takeda hits Abby's back with tubes. Takeda breaks a tube in Abby's mouth. Takumi hits Abby with a tube then snapmares him. Takumi rubs tube shards into his head. Takeda tells Abby to come bring it. They argue about it and Abby slams him on tubes. Takeda said it feels good then rakes him with scissors.

Takumi breaks tubes on Abby's head then has tubes booted into him. Abby hits punches on both opponents then elbow drops both. Drake comes off the top and does a double crossbody. Drake bangs Takumi in the head with a tube then Takeda spears tubes into Drake. Drake suplexes Takumi for 2.

Takumi suplexes Drake down then Takeda shotgun dropkicks tubes into Drake. Takumi running knees him for 2. Takeda chairs some chairs onto Drake then Drake cradle shocks him. Abby lariats Takumi then Abby and Drake hit stereo moves together. They then double elbow drop Takeda.

Abby headbutts tubes into Takumi's head then Drake release half-nelson suplexes Takeda. Takeda uraken's tubes into Drake's head then Drake takes a knee + kick combo. Abby elbow drops Drake on accident then Takeda dominators Drake for 2. Takeda does a lifting reverse ddt on tubes on Drake and wins at 10:47.

It was okay for what it was. Look, you know the deal with these guys. They are going to do a lot of hardcore stuff and focus more on weapons first and if you want the rest, you have to watch other people's matches. They kept it moving and it wasn't too long at 10 minutes. Drake had a good showing as he usually does and Abby seemed to be having fun. If you're going to not sell a lot, this is one of the better ways to do it. 

Abby does a promo after but I had trouble making it out. Drake says they had a title match 10 years ago. Drake says when he was in WWE, he was deathmatch wrestling. He says it's an honor to be back here and tag with one of his best friends. He thanks everyone. Abby asks him if he loves wrestling and they show that they are wearing matching wristbands with the japanese word for love on it. Then they raise their fists together.

Takeda and Takumi do promo after in the back then Abby and Drake do one also. Drake says it's an honor and privilege to be back here. He says Abby is his best friend in the world and says let's keep going for it. Abby points at Drake's abs then says he has a fat pack. He says his heart is young. 

Fluorescent Lighttubes Death Match - Mad Man Pondo, Necro Butcher & Satu Jinn vs. Hideyoshi Kamitani, Kazumi Kikuta & Yuki Ishikawa

 

Violent J is out with the foreigners. Pondo grabs the mic and reads something in Japanese. He says he has a special manager in Violent J. He then says it's time for the meeting of baka gaijin. Everyone starts to fight. Kikuta hits Pondo with a wooden sword and 4 of the 6 brawl outside. Pondo bridges tubes on chairs and TKO's Kikuta through it.

Jinn and Yuki duel with tubes and Yuki hits him with one. Yuki is sent into the light tube ropes then is samoan dropped. Necro and Kami fight in the crowd. Yuki sent into the tube ropes then Pondo uses a circular saw on Yuki's back. Pondo then stabs Yuki with a knife and cuts his head.

Yuki enzugiri's Pondo nd a fight erupts ouside over usage of steps. Yuki dropkicks tubes (inside of Pondo's shirt) into a seated pondo and has to break them with kicks. Kami and Jinn lariat each other then Kami slams him. Kikuta kicks a chair out of Necro's hands then Necro slams him. Necro breaks a tube over Kikuta's head then bulldogs him.

Kikuta is put under chairs with a light tube bridge. Pondo is then flipped onto them off the top rope. Jinn cannonballs tubes into Kikuta for 2. Jinn then rock bottoms him onto tubes and wins it.

It was short at 8:58, but it was probably better that way. There wasn't enough time to do a bunch of stuff that couldn't be sold and they kept this one moving. Pondo going through the bridged tubes on Kikuta probably hurt more than it looked like it did. I liked it for what it was but obviously, that's on a curved scale.

 

Kamitani and Necro continue the fight after. Pondo says baka gaijin strikes again and all baka gaijin respect BJW, then the gaijin attack the Japanese. Kikuta fights some of them off with his wooden sword. Pondo says he is the BJW deathmatch champ after and tells Yuki "good luck, motherf*cker". The gaijin pose on the stage after.

The gaijin do a promo backstage. Pondo says by any means necessary. He said he will go through Yuki or Godzilla after if he hqas to. Violent J says it's the same result every time. Necro says to put down the bowl of rice and says the deathmatch title will go back to America and stay there forever. Jinn said he loses and he gets hungrier. Akira says they are here and baka gaijin run BJW. They then chant baka gaijin after.

Overall thoughts: I liked the show as a whole. Everything minus one match was under 11 minutes and that kept the no selling and the big spots down. Not the greatest show ever but it was easy to watch and better than if everything had gotten more time.
