WWE LFG 8/24/2025 Season 2, Episode 9

Elijah Holyfield tore his bicep at practice. Bubba tells him it ain't ballet and says he's heartbroken for him. He says he was enjoying his coming out so much this season. Bubba asks him why he has his shirt on while he has his casts on. Eli says he's coming back stronger.

We see clips of Booker T and Harlem Lewis talking. Harlem says he needs to just let him coach. He says Shiloh Hill is his target and this is his domain.

Shawn Michaels greets the rookies at the Performance Center. He said the coaches picked the top guys and they showed why they are the top guys. Shawn asks how the people who didn't get picked feel. He says it's time for them to get their stuff together. He says good luck as they will need it.

Booker talks to Tatyanna. He says she needs to work harder and can't sit on the sidelines. Booker says he has to cut people soon and she needs to put herself in the position to win.

McCool talks to Summer Sorrell and says she wants to see some of her character come out. Summer says she's confident in her abilities. Tatyanna talks trash to Summer and asks if she will remember the match. Summer says she was warned that Tatyanna is stiff, dangerous and can't remember. Tatyanna tells her not to forget the spots and says there will be issues since she's the heel. Summer says it sounds like she has issues.

Tatyanna Dumas vs Summer Sorrell

This is in front of a live crowd. Booker and McCool are on the riser.

Sum cartwheels out of a lock up, shoves her from behind and slaps her. Tat chases her to the ropes. Tat waistlock takedowns her then armlocks her. Tat wristlocks her and flips her by the arm. Tat wristlocks her again then Sum throws her down backwards by the hair. Sum bangs Tat's head off the mat.

Sum russian legsweeps her for 2. Sum foot chokes her. Sum snapmares her and chinlocks her. Tat stunners her out of it and shoulders her over twice. Tat rolls her up for 2. Sum trips her and uses the ropes to pin her.

Thoughts: It was simple and not good at all. Tat didn't look good here and Sum didn't get to do her more athletic offense. 

Sum talks after. She says they aren't on the same level. She says she's not here to be relatable, she's here to be remembered. She says she's better than her and everyone.

McCool talks to Trill in the ring. She says she loves his vibe and knows who he is. Trill says he was told to be Trill. He says all he does is keep it Trill. McCool says he has star written all over him.

BJ Ray has a sit down chat with Bubba. He says Bubba is a schmuck and says he's a heel and not a face. He says if he wants to win this thing, he's a heel. Bubba says BJ is in the face role and it works. Bubba asks if he thinks the money is in him as a heel. Bubba says he's giving BJ what he wants vs Trill tonight. He asks if he can do anything else for him and BJ says no.

Bubba says if you can't be a heel vs Trill, there's something wrong with you.

BJ says he will make Trill look like a million bucks and be a fantastic heel. Trill asks if we have to talk and says just watch. Trill has a soul patch dyed pink here.

BJ Ray vs Trill London

Trill comes out with a black goalie mask. Trill poses on the ropes and is low blowed. BJ knees him in the gut then atomic drops him. Trill hits shots to the gut. Trill jumps at him and is spinebustered down. BJ does a cobra clutch variation.

Trill pulls him down backwards and spears him. BJ lariats hm over. Trill is crotched up top. Trill goes for whisper in the wind but mostly misses when he's supposed to hit. Trill hits punches and atomic drops him. Trill dropkicks him. Trill top rope swantons him and wins.

Thoughts: It's hard to rate this as they cut away a lot and definitely wanted us to think it sucked. I thought both guys had the right idea but there's only so much you can do with the limited time they had and with no build.

Both guys are happy about the match as they return. BJ tells him not to throw punches a certain way. Trill says McCool told him to. BJ says he will beat the sh!t out of him. Trill says he can do it now. They get in each other's faces and BJ takes him down as we go to break.

We return from break. They get broken up and Trill tries to jump at him. They call each other names. BJ said Trill went off on him and did stuff he wasn't supposed to do. Trill says McCool told him to do that. McCool confirms she said that. Trill says BJ is an unprofessional crybaby. BJ says he's a b!tch and unprofessional. Trill says he should have been more professional but he needs to set the point.

Chris Island and Drake Morreaux talk about their match. Drake says it's time to get to business.

Chris Island vs Drake Morreaux

No entrance for either guy. They lock up and Drake shoulders him over. Drake swings him around by the arm and CI hits shots. Drake lariats him out of the corner then slams him. Drake bottom rope springboard splashes him.

Drake misses a corner charge and CI codebreakers his arm. CI hammerlocks him around the middle rope. They fight outside and Drake is sent into the post. We go to break and return. CI armlocks him. CI goes for an armbar. Drake hits corner lariats and corner splashes. Drake facekicks him. CI comes off the top and is caught with a chokeslam. Drake then wins.

Thoughts: It didn't really click. CI didn't bring much as a heel here and it wasn't very interesting.

The Undertaker tells Dani Sekelsky she needs to be aggressive. He says he wants to see the dog in her. He says he wants her p!ssed. Dani says he's the only one that sees the dog in her. Dani says she will be relentless.

Haze Jameson says they have the fire under their @sses and they will show something people don't expect from them.

Dani Sekelsky vs Haze Jameson

They lock up. Haze hits some bad shots and bangs Dani's head off the buckles. Haze pushes her face into the buckles. Dani back elbows her then hits shots to the back. Dani bangs Haze's head off the mat. Dani is pulled out and it looks bad.

Haze rams Dani into the apron edge. Haze sits on her throat on the bottom rope. Haze throws her down backwards then chinlocks her. 

Dani hits elbows to the gut and they trade chest shots. Dani hits a flurry of shots. Dani hits lariats. Haze knees her in the gut. Dani flips over her off the 2nd buckle. Dani trips her then hits a ddt for the win.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. Haze is very limited and she got most of the offense in. Dani did try to fire up some but there was only so much that could be done here.

The coaches are going to award points. McCool votes for Dani as does Booker. Bubba votes for Haze, citing her personality. Taker says Dani gave him what he wanted he gets her vote. Dani gets a point.

Taker gives Trill his vote. Booker agrees. Bubba says they put BJ in the position he wanted but he wasn't the heel they wanted to see. Bubba gives Trill "Hardy" his vote. Mccool agrees. Trill gets a point.

Thoughts: There wasn't a lot of choices this week and I'd agree with Dani and Trill getting points.

Team Bubba - 2 points

Shiloh and Elijah - 2 points
Harlem, Drake, Anthony and Trill - 1 point

Women:

Penina - 4 points
Sirena and Dani - 2 points

McCool says she's been waiting for Trill get his flowers all season. Trill is asked what message he sent and he says it's about to get real.

Taker says he saw the beginning of a pitbull in Dani. Dani said she realized who she was and she says she realized she's the toughest b!tch in the locker room. She says she has given up everything to be here and will be a WWE superstar. We then see her punching and kicking a punching bag. She says she needed to bring out a little evil. She says she has found her edge and fire. She says good f*cking luck.

Next week Dani vs Zena and Shiloh vs Harlem.

Overall thoughts: We had a bit more worked stuff than usual here. None of the matches were anything special and nobody really impressed. It wasn't one of my more favorite episodes and I wouldn't recommend it.
