The Southern Six of Alex Taylor and Kerry Morton talk in front of The Crockett Cup as do PB Smooth/EC3/C-Lo.  Kerry says they represent prestige, honor and legacy. C-Lo talks about PB Smooth being a skyscraper. Kerry says PB's crew is irrelevant and have the go away heat. EC says to sacrifice yourselves for their gain. Kerry says to unlace your boots and get out of the ring. Kerry says they simply deliver.

TMVA (TV's Most Attractive) talk. Ms. Starr introduces us to her group. Tiffany Nieves says she's not the first TV champ but the first to take over your screen. Valentina Rossi says The Island Twins should have stayed on their own island.

The Island Twins talk (Taahine Tonga and Talavou Tonga). Taahine says they are stepping in the ring with the baddest tag team in the world. Tala says to get ready to feel what they are all about.

NWA Women's Tag Titles - TVMA (Tiffany Nieves and Valentina Rossi) vs The Island Twins (Taahine Tonga and Talavou Tonga)

Taa has the tattoo higher up on her arm and Tala has the tattoo lower on her arm. The Twins were in WOW and haven't really been on TV since they left. Rossi is Adriana Gambino in WOW. Rossi shoves Taa then taa throws her off. Taa hits boots and punches in the corner. Rossa takes a double team chop. Rossi takes a double hiptoss and barely makes it over for 1.

Tala slams Tiff and Tiff takes a breather outside. Rossi misses a boot and gets forearmed by Tala. Tiff gets on Tala's back and takes a backpack stunner. Rossi low lariats Tala then Tiff swinging facebusters Tala. Tiff fameassers Tala.

Tiff is rammed in the corner. Rossi rakes Tala's back then Tiff chokes Tala in the corner. Rossi backsplashes then foot chokes Tala. Tiff lariats Tala on the ropes then kneels on her over the 2nd rope.

Tala hits chops on Rossi. rossi headbutts her then takes a samoan drop. Taa gets in and hits lariats on her opponents. Taa slaps and superkicks Tiff. She then uranages her for 2.

A Twin is sent into the buckles and Tiff's top rope crossbody is caught by Taa. Tiff hits soul foot on Taa and wins.

Thoughts: It was a random one. The Twins haven't been on this show for a long time if ever and lost as expected. TVMA won the titles on 6/24 and haven't really been seen since. The work was alright but it was a short and average match. 

We go to Uncle Thrill's Watering Hole. Mims is heading in and says it smells like cheap liquor. Silas Mason comes in. Mason thanks him for coming. Mims asks if he's with Joe Cazana doing something here. Mason says this is about something they both know about - the National Heavyweight Title. He says it's a ticket straight to the top. He says they got Colby Corino and Rhino coming up and says either of them could win the title. He says if Mims is betting his money, put his money on Mason to win the title. Mima says Mason's belt is a cheap piece of garbage from Walmart and says he has a real title. Mims asks why he thinks he can skip the line.

Mason says when he's the NWA champ, it should be Mason vs Mims for the title. He says he wanted to let him know where everything is going. Mims says he isn't seeing things straight. Mims says it could be that match and he might beat him quick. Mason says we will cross that bridge when they get there.

Pastor C-Lo, EC3 and PB Smooth do a promo. C says they have The Southern Six next week. He asks if they have seen EC and PB. He says they don't stand a chance. He says to find their other 3 and maybe they can step up to the holy grail.

Daisy Kill and Talos do a promo. DK says he told Talos they would do it. He says his opponents last week were the bottom of the rung and the first step. He says they go long back with The Colon's and it'll be a good time against them.

Crockett Cup 2025 2nd Round - The Slimeballz (Sage Chantz and Tommy Rant) vs The Immortals (Odinson and JR Kratos)

 

Odin offers a hand shake and Sage stupidly spits in his hand. Sage slaps him then backs up in fear. Sage calls for Kratos to come in. Sage says he will ragdoll Kratos. The crowd chants that Kratos will kill him and he mocks them. He slaps Kratos and the crowd chants, "you f*cked up". Kratos then pounces him.

Kratos rips Sage's shirt and chops him.  Kratos hits a big chop on Rant and we go to break. We see Cardon Drake talking to Joe Cazana. He says he had his shoulder up when Bryan Idol pinned him in their match. He says Joe could rescind it. Joe says Billy Corgan is the president of the NWA and he says he can pull a few strings. He says he will have his people call their people. Drake thanks him.

We return and Kratos chops Sage again. Rant is tagged in then gets slammed and splashed immediately. Odin hits euros on Rant. Odin corner spears Rant. Odin powerslams Rant for 2. Odin hits a hard corner spear then he misses one and goes shoulder first into the post. Sage corner dropkicks Odin then is thrown into a spear on him. Rant corner cannonballs Odin over Sage for 2.

Odin pounces Rant. Sage is up top and Kratos jumping knees him. Sage takes a flying euro to the back of the neck + a flapjack and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was entertaining and was what it should have been. The Slimes got a little in then got destroyed. I liked it.

Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor do a promo. Kerry says they are the real ones and says they represent honor and prestige like the NWA. He says PB and EC have go away heat and need to get out of their ring. Kerry says they are going back to back with The Crockett Cup as thye won last year.

At Uncle Thrill's Watering Hole, Tyler Franks, Kylie Paige, Paige's Dad and Hunter are there. Kylie asks how Joe Cazana could walk all over them. Tyler says she's right and says nobody talks to him this way.

Hunter is asked how he feels and Kylie calls him a liar. She says she wishes Markova hurt him more. She calls him a liar several more times.

EC3's crew tells The Southern Six to sacrifice themselves for their crew. C-Lo says to chop them into 6 pieces and they can sell their newly won Crockett Cup with their essence.

The Southern Six are interviewed. Kerry is asked if history will be repeated. Kerry says the building is electric and says it feels so good to be 2x Crockett Cup winners. Alex says they are moving slow as they spent all night celebrating early. Alex says they are taking the cup home all the same. Silas says unlike The Eagles, they are running it back this year. Silas says The Eagles should be put on an endangered species list. Silas says they will three-peat next year.

Crockett Cup 2025 2nd Round - The Southern Six (Alex Taylor and Kerry Morton) vs Team Exodus Pro (EC3 and PB Smooth)

EC's crew is hit as they enter. Alex hits shots on EC. Alex foot chokes EC then chokes him on the ropes. EC is thrown into the buckles and boots him there. Kerry stomps EC's leg. EC double lariats The Six.

Kerry's face is banged off the buckles then EC stomps him. PB chops Kerry then throws him from the slam position. PB then throws him from the suplex position. PB hits a corner splash. EC thesz presses Kerry. 

Kerry bangs EC's face off his knee and step up enzugiri's him. EC Takes a double slingshot suplex for 2. We go to break. Wrecking Ball Legursky does a promo on Jay Bradley. He says they were like brothers and Jay turned his back on him. He says he will beat him down as all will fall to Wrecking Ball. Jay then punches him with a chain from the side and throws him into a port-a-potty. Jay then chokes him with the chain.

We return from break. EC is tripped and takes an elbow drop from Kerry. Kerry fist drops him. Kerry chokes EC on the ropes. EC chops Kerry. Kerry knees him in the gut. EC's neck is pulled forward by Kerry for 1. EC fights off both opponents from the buckles. EC then 2nd rope gordbusters Alex onto Kerry. EC top rope crossbodies The Six.

PB gets in. He corner splashes Kerry then facekicks Alex. PB back body drops Kerry then legdrops Alex for 2. Kerry hits mounted punches on PB and short double arm ddt's him. C-Lo trips Kerry from the outside and Alex is sent into Kerry. PB punches out Alex. EC hits a headlock driver on Alex and pins him.

Thoughts: The crowd wasn't too into this and it was average. The spot with EC on the buckles took too long and ate up a bunch of time. There just wasn't a lot of exciting parts to this.

Next week has Bradley vs Legursky in a chain match, The Colon's vs Kill and Talos and Knox/Murdoch vs Mondo/Slade.

Overall thoughts: We had a random match to start things that wasn't anything special. We had an entertaining bout with The Slimeballz vs The Immortals. We then had The Six vs Team Exodus Pro which was slower and just not that entertaining. The show continues to be better than what it was pre-Roku as they are doing recaps from the past few weeks and hyping up some matches for next time. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was average and nothing you really need to see.
