We are in Cleveland, Ohio.

MJF does a promo. He says Page won't give him a title shot unless he uses his contract. He says Mark Briscoe will pay for it. He says Mark is looking in the eyes of the devil and he will send him back to hell in Delaware. He says he can go back to being a chicken farmer and says he's not a real wrestler or man. He says he's not championship material. He then makes a racial remark like usual and his luck will run out tonight. 

Jon Moxley vs Mike Bailey

Mike facekicks him then hits chops and kicks to start. Mike hits mounted corner punches. Mox then does the same back to him. Mox foot chokes him. Mox slams him for 2. Mox chickenwings him.

They trade shots. Mike dropkicks him then pump kicks him off the apron. Mox eye pokes him. Marina Shafir trips Mike on the floor. Kevin Knight comes down and goes head to head with Shafir. Mox slaps Kevin then Kevin bumps heads with him. Mike triangle moonsaults Mox outside.

Mike hits his moonsault double knee on the rail top outside. We go to PiP break and return.  Mox does an armbar. Mox splits the fingers. They trade chops. Mox forearms him in the corner. Mike hits kicks to the arm then he 2nd rope dropkicks him. Mike hits kicks and running ssp's him for 2.

Mike hits forearms to the arm then swings him down by the arm. Mike hits a top rope SSP for 2. Mike then armbars him. Mike hurricanrana's him into an armbar. They trade pin attempts. Mike standing moonsault double knees him. Yuta trips up Mike. Mox release suplexes Mike for 2. Darby Allin then grabs Wheeler Yuta and takes him somewhere. 

Mox is distracted and Mike gets a 2 count on him. Mike hits 2 spinning high kicks for 2. Mike then armbars him. Mox puts him in a choke then hits a nasty looking death rider ddt to win.

Thoughts: It was the somewhat usual long AEW opener here. They traded a lot of strikes and Mike worked the arm in the 2nd half. Mox then won with a choke without too much build. The death rider ddt was nasty. It was a random one and I wasn't that interested in this.

Toni Storm and Alex Windsor are interviewed. Alex says her opponents better hit her hard tonight as the only name they will be hearing is hers. Toni says they can beat them down but not up. Alex says you can't give her any lick without her giving a lick back. Toni makes sexual puns and says her and Athena can fight tonight if she wants.

Mox and Shafir find someone in a body bag in the parking lot. We then see Darby Allin trying a car pass them. Yuta is in the body bag and has "Forbidden Door" written on paper on his head.

Renee interviews Mercedes Mone outside. Mone now has 8 belts. Renee brings up Mone losing to Toni but says the match was incredible. Mone tells her not to be such a mark.

Forbidden Door TBS Title 4-Way Qualifier - Alex Windsor vs Queen Aminata vs Skyle Blue vs Billie Starkz

Alex knocks BS off the apron with a forearm. Skye takes forearms from Queen and Alex then a double chop. Queen kicks Alex in the back then bangs her face into her butt. Skye throws Queen into the steps.

Skye cartwheel forearms Alex in the corner then pump kicks BS, making her ddt Alex. Skye flying headscissors Alex. Skye then pump kicks her on the ropes. Queen facekicks Skye.

Queen is swept on the apron and Skye spinning bridging neckbreakers her. Alex cannonballs Skye off the apron then BS top rope cannonballs her outside.We go to PiP break and return. Queen and Skye trade forearms. Skye superkicks her. Alex blue thunders Skye for 2. BS and Alex botch something. BS spin kicks her in the face. Alex sitout powerbombs BS for 2.

Alex sharpshooters BS and Queen breaks it up with kicks. Queen slaps Alex then they forearm each other together. BS and Skye hit stereo superkicks. They high kick each other at the same time and both take germans. Queen and Alex headbutt each other at the same time and both go down.

Alex headbutts Skye while she's up top. Skye code red's Alex off the buckles for 2. BS top rope swantons Skye. Queen twisting fisherman's neckbreakers BS for 2.  Skye does a terrible looking code red attempt on Qeuen then takes an air raid crash on an open chair. BS germans Alex then corner facekicks her. Alex corner lariats BS. Alex lariats BS. Athena gets in and Toni grabs her then hits her. Alex then cradles BS and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. We had a lot of sloppy moments and Skye' botch outside was really fake looking. This was another random one.

Mercedes Mone comes out wearing her belts like a skirt. Mone holds a title up in Alex's face. Toni comes in. Athena comes off the top behind her and hits an o-face. Mone then backstabbers Alex. Mone and Athena then stare down.

The Young Bucks are interviewed. They ask for respect from Renee. They then yell at a production guy and says to treat them with more respect. They say they want a proper entrance and have instructions for Justin Roberts as well.

The Don Callis Family comes out with a portrait in the ring. Don says Renee should ask why he's building the largest numerical faction in wrestling. He says he wants power. He says look at the gold as when you have the gold, you control destiny. He says Okada has 3 belts.

Kyle says Dustin Rhodes didn't deserve to be in the same ring with him. He then says we don't know if we will see Adam Cole again either. He says he will be the greatest TNT champ of all time on his way to becoming the greatest of all time. Don says he has a painting for Kyle and asks how bad he wants it. Don then reveals it. It has Kyle naked with a title around him then Don next to him with a lot of muscles.

Kyle says it's beautiful and he owes his success to Don. He says he wants to be a fighting champ and will defend it on Collision. He says it doesn't matter who shows up as the result will be the same. Kyle says he will be the champ for a long time. 

Cope is interviewed. Cope says Christian Cage learned nothing. He says he has his hands full with FTR and Stokeley. He says he will face Stokeley Hathaway next week. He says if FTR interferes, their restraining order is null and void.

AEW Tag Title Eliminator Tournament Semifinals - Bandido and Brody King vs The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)

The screen blocks The Bucks' entrance and they have to crawl under it. Justin Roberts then reads the note The Bucks gave him. They then have "Max and Jeremy on their name graphic".

Band shoudlers a Buck over, ducks a superkick and Nick gets scared of his gun hand signal. Band top rope tornillos both Bucks. Band frogsplashes a Buck. King hits a double clothesline. Badn then top rope moonsaults The Bucks outside. 

Band assisted springboard crossbodies a Buck for 2. King takes a kick then takes a springboard headscissors. The Bucks hits risky business on King for 2. A Buck double foot chokes King then eye rakes him. king chops The Bucks. The Bucks do an assisted shiranui for 2. King forearms a Buck as he jumps off the top.

A Buck hits a slingshot facebusters on Band then apron moonsaults King. Band is bridged and takes a top rope swanton for 2. King is dropkicked through the ropes and Band is superkicked. A Buck walks up the buckles and top rope corkscrews onto Band. We go to PiP break and return. The Bucks miss an EVP trigger then take a double hurricanrana. King fights off both Bucks and corner splashes both together. King corner cannonballs both. King apron cannonballs both Bucks outside. Band does an assisted tope con hilo outside on The Bucks.

Band top rope splashes a Buck for 2. King sliding lariats a buck then is superkicked. Band is ropped and dropped face/chest first on the apron. King top rope superplexes a Buck. Band is monkey flipped by King but just bangs his faceoff the mat. King takes a canadian destroyer and superkicks. Band is top rope double stomped while he lays on top and he ends up flipping onto King. Band takes a meltzer driver for 2.

Band takes a triangle springboard ddt on the apron. King death valley drivers a Buck on the apron. King is kicked then takes a tornado ddt on the floor. Bang's face is banged off a rail. Band and Nick fight on the rail. Nick superkicks him. Band gorilla press throws him onto Matt.

Band hits a go to sleep variation on a Buck then a 21plex for 2. King topes outside. Band hits a top rope moonsault slam on a Buck for 2. King sentons a Buck the monkey flips Band into a splash on him for the win.

Thoughts: I was surprised The Bucks lost. I didn't like this at all. Nobody sold squat and nothing meant anything. They did a million dives here. This also went on over 20 minutes.

We get a video on MJF vs Mark Briscoe

The Hurt Syndicate are interviewed. MVP says Bandido and Brody King are fabulous and he wishes both teams in the tournament good luck. He says they will be happy to hurt the winners. MJF comes in then Bobby and Shelton leave. MJF says him and MVP just need each other not Bobby and Shelton.

MVP says he doesn't get it. MVP says we hurt people if you join The Syndicate. He says all MJF has been talking about is "I". He says his ego is more than anyone can stand. MVP says it is what it is and gives him the thumbs down. He says they will leave him in one piece so he can pursue his belt. MJF says it's not personal, it's just business. MVP says he's wrong. He says he hopes he fails his endeavor as Lashley is coming for him if he wins and it'll be very personal.

FTR and Stokeley Hathaway are interviewed. FTR says they see what Cope is doing. Dax says don't make them do this to him. Cash says Stoke insists on being around next week and says they can't be held accountable for what Stoke does. Stoke says he's not a wrestler and is injured. He says he's been fighting his entire life and says the fight continues next week in Cincinnati, Ohio. He says he will fight with a smile on his face and insults Cope's family. He says Cope will have to admit that Stoke pinned him in the ring just like that.

Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana are interviewed on the ramp. Swerve says he's not worried about Don Callis being at ringside for his match vs Okada. He says he's something that has never been seen before while Okada says he's a generational wrestler. He says there's never been one before of him and never will be one after.

He says Okada came after him 3 times. He says Okada stared him in the eyes and he saw nothing. He says he put the fear of God into him. Swerve says he lost two of his biggest matches in London. He says he will continue his legacy by beating Okada and he will stand over the defeated body of Okada. He says everyone will stand and chant his name.

Mark Briscoe is interviewed. He says he will do his talking with his fists. He says MJF will pay for his sins. Mark is told he could be in contendership for the title with the win. Adam Page comes in. He says he always admired The Briscoe's. Page says he hopes he's the next challenger.

Queen Aminata is interviewed. Willow Nightingale comes in. She says Queen did so great. She says they will take care of Skye, Thekla and Hart on Collision. Kris Statlander comes in and talks about womanhood. She said Willow stood up for her. Willow says she's here to smile, win matches and straight up anyone who stops that. She says Kris can talk to her when she takes care of that. She then throws confetti/pieces of paper at her.

MJF vs Mark Briscoe

Mark hits punches. MJF bites Mark's head. Mark forearms him. MJF rolls out and goes into the crowd. Mark grabs him and hits him. Mark hits punches on him in the stands. Mark punches MJF over the rail into ringside. Mark headhunters MJF over the rail. MJF hits Mark from behind then he is sent into the post.

MJF eye rakes him and boots him in the corner. Mark is rolled into the buckles. They each flip out of backdrops then MJF flips him into a stunner for 2. MJF foot chokes Mark. Mark is dropped gut first on the top rope. We go to PiP break as we hit 9:57pm. 

We return and MJF abdominal stretches him while holding the ropes. The ref kicks the arm away and Mark hiptosses MJF. Mark hits chops. MJF knees him in the gut. Mark hits punches then flying forearms him. Mark hits a corner lariat then overhead exploders him. Mark flying facekicks him in the corner. Mark goes up top, MJF rolls out and Mark elbow drops him off the apron.  Mark tope con hilos him off the apron. 

MJF is laid on a table but gets off. MJF superkicks him then crabs him. Mark's mouth is bleeding. Mark cradles him for 2. Mark is crotched up top. Mark bites MJF up top. Mark top rope froggy bow's him for 2. MJF is put on the table. Mark tries to froggy bow him but MJF moves.

MJF hits the heatseeker piledriver over the 2nd rope and pins Mark with Mark's foot on the ropes.

Thoughts: It was fine but it went a little longer than than it needed to and I wasn't real thrilled around this one running late. I'm not sure what the finish is about but it seems like we aren't done with this feud.

MJF pounds on Mark after. MJF punches him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Adam Page comes out and fights with MJF in the aisle way. Security then breaks it up. Mark is busted open. MJF walks away through the crowd. Page then checks on Mark. MJF has words for Page in the crowd then Page goes out and punches him. Security tries to break it up and Page punches them too. 

They fight back into ringside and the ring. MJF then finally escapes.

Overall thoughts: It was a wrestling heavy edition of Dynamite with 3 matches going long. Mox/Bailey wasn't that bad but I wasn't super interested in it. The Bucks' match was the usual Bucks match. The women's match wasn't good with some really sloppy moments. The main was alright. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was about average but they do continue to do a better job of making things make sense and recapping various feuds.
