We are in Philadelphia, PA. AEW is running Philly for the next few weeks so WWE ran here to mess with them.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Briggs and Inamura fight in the back as the show starts.

Philadelphia Street Fight - Josh Briggs vs Yoshiki Inamura

YI ducks a charge and Josh goes into the steps. YI dropkicks JB off the stage then does a cooling flying shoulder off of it. YI hits chops against the rails. YI is suplexed on the bare floor.  JB throws chairs into the ring. JB chairs YI. YI forearms him. JB hits a big forearm. They elbow each other on the ropes and JB facekicks him. JB misses a splash and is sent into a chair between the buckles. YI slams him on a chair for 2. 

YI grabs a baseball bat outside. JB throws a chair at YI's knee then russian legsweeps him with the bat. JB's head is banged off a chair between the buckles then YI stomps on him. YI chops him. YI suplexes him on a chair for 2. YI htis JB with a trash can. JB puts YI in the trash can and boots him over. JB brings a railing in. 

JB superplexes YI through the ladder, which is bridged on chairs. JB tapes YI to the top rope. JB hits him with a kendo stick in the back. YI rips the tapes off and fires up. YI tries to chop him and JB blocks it with the stick.

YI hits a sumo palm strike flurry then hits a forearm and chop combo in the corner. JB has a trash put on his head and YI hits chops and forearms. YI then hits the trash can with a baseball bat. JB gets all busted open and JB is thrown onto the trash can.

YI top rope splashes him through a table for 2. A table gets pushed into YI's crotch. JB hits a hard lariat with a chain on his arm. JB top rope moonsaults YI through a table and wins.

Thoughts: It was a good match and a war. The two really beat the crap out of each other and took some risks here. Josh got busted open hard way and I liked them going out to the floor. 

We see clips from a Masha/Ava/Santino video call. Masha wants to be the special ref for the match in Philly. Ava likes the idea. Santino makes Masha promise she's not up to anything. Ava agrees.

Trick Williams is interviewed. He says he beat Moose down in front of his home town. He says Evans is stupid if he thinks he can beat him. He says Evans likes to bounce and he will bounce him back to high school. Trick says he will see Oba at Heatwave and become a 3x NXT champ.

Ricky Saints vs Jasper Troy

RS dropkicks him and clubs on him. RS grabs a chinlock. Troy rams him into the buckles to break it. RS hits a top rope crossbody for 2. RS goes to springboard and is booted down.

Troy stomps him in the corner. Troy splashes and elbow drops RS for 2. RS hits slaps. RS is sent into the buckles and Troy foot chokes him. Troy knees him in the gut then abdominal stretches him. RS hits leg kicks then Troy bodyblocks him.

RS hits shots and armbars Troy. RS samoan drops him. Troy rams him in the corner and hits corner spears. Troy misses a corner spear. RS is caught coming off the apron and is sent into the steps. Troy jumps off the top half of the steps and tries to senton RS on the bottom half but RS moves. RS tornado ddt's him on the floor. RS tornado ddt's him inside and wins.

Thoughts: It went long and the crowd wasn't into it which brought it down some. I thought they did a bit much here with Troy doing a senton to the steps and getting ddt'd on the floor but still getting up.

Hank and Tank talk to Ava in the back. They want to know who they are facing in Dark State. Ava doesn't know. George Iceman and The Elegance Brand come in. George asks that Masha not be allowed to be the guest ref tonight. Ava says she will be. Masha Slamovich walks in with a ref shirt on and shakes Ava's hand. George says MS has the look of bias and he's calling his lawyers.

Jordynne Grace is in the ring and talks. She said she came here and thought she'd win titles like she always does. She says she knew she had weaknesses and didn't think a friendship would set her back.

She says she watches wrestling and knows how wrestling friendships usually turn out. She says there's an exception to every rule and maybe this is the exception. She says the adjustment to WWE has been hard. She said she never had anyone force her to address her weaknesses publicly. She says she doesn't need to prove she's better than Blake. She says she doesn't want revenge, she wants Blake to see herself for who she is. 

Blake Monroe cuts her off with security guards. She says she doesn't want to see JG get her redemption and says there's no redemption for the truth. She has a contract that says if JG lays a finger on her, the Heatwave match is off. She says she doesn't need to feel sorry for her as she feels sorry for herself.

JG says Blake is wrong. She says Blake was at Evolution at ringside while she was wrestling. She says Blake is jealous of her. She says Blake is a jealous, disgusting snake. Blake says JG can't control herself and is a reject playing a superstar. She says there's not enough room for the both of them now that she arrived. She asked who is more pathetic than JG.

JG goes to touch her and Blake tells her to do it. JG says she doesn't need to touch her to show her what she will do at Heatwave then of course she beats up the male guards. One of them then runs. JG then grabs Blake's wrist with her hand. She says she will show her what ugly really looks like.

Thoughts: I'm not a Grace fan and this character isn't working at all. It just makes her look like a loser. I didn't like her beating up the men either, but that's expected anytime a man and woman cross paths in NXT.

Fatal Influence talk. Lainey Reid comes in and tells Jacy to show why she's the double champ. Zaria and Sol come in. Jacy calls Zar her shadow. Sol tells Jacy to take as many photos as she can while she is champ as that will all change Sunday. Sol is still carrying the WWE Speed title even though the show is finished. Reid says at least Jacy defends both of her titles. Sol says she has the need for speed.

Je'Von Evans is interviewed about the match with Trick Williams tonight. He says he's not surprised Trick abandoned the team last week. He says Trick is selfish and goofy. He says Trick knows he has his number. He said he'd feel the same way if Taker chokeslammed him too. He says to get to Oba, he needs to get through Trick. He says Trick is trying to be the face of 2 brands, a rapper and an actor. He says he's trying to be champ and he will whoop that Trick in 30 minutes.

Special Guest Ref: Masha Slamovich - The Elegance Brand (Ash, Heather and M By Elegance) vs Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx)

HBE = Heather By Elegance

M was a WWE ID girl then she signed with TNA, but with WWE all but owning TNA at this point, she still may be an ID girl. 

M knees Fallon and clubs her. Fallon hits forearms and chops and M forearms back. Fallon bodyscissors takedowns her and boots her. They say M's first name is Maggie. Fallon back elbows her. Nyx knocks down M then flying single leg dropkicks her. M mule kicks Nyx then kneelifts her. M drops HBE off her shoulders onto Nyx.

Ash and Jacy go at it. They shove each other. Ash backrolls her for 1 then Jacy armdrags her off the hiptoss. Jacy knees her in the gut then back splashes her. Fallon sliding lariats Ash for 2. Ash's head is banged off the buckles and Fallon chops her. Booker shills Reality of Wrestling. George Iceman trips Fallon then Fallon is thrown out. Masha ejects Iceman.

We go to break and return. Ash handspring back elbows Fallon in the corner and Fallon takes kicks from HBE and M for 2. HBE misses an asai moonsault. Jacy and M get in. Jacy knocks her over twice then neckbreakers Ash. Jacy hits kicks on M. HBE is sent into M then Jacy superkicks HBE. Jacy cannonballs M.

Jacy 2nd rope sentons M for 2. M takes a double flapjack then a rolling facebuster. Jacy running knees M for 2 and M's bra comes out. M superkicks Nyx.

HBE top rope double stomps while Jacy is in the bow and arrow. Ash meteora's Nyx for 2. Jacy superkicks Ash. M pump kicks Jacy. Fallon pushes M into the commenary table and htis mounted shots. Ash swantons Nyx off the top and Masha makes a late count as she gets distracted.

Ash and Masha argue. Jacy is tagged in and spinning forearms Ash to win.

Thoughts: I liked it. The Brand had a good night here looking as good as they have ever looked and M got a lot of time here. I thought it was fun to see the two heel groups duke it out.

Ash and Masha push each other after.

Charlie Dempsey talks to Kendal Grey. He says her performance last week was impressive. He tells her to lock an armbar in if she gets in. He tells her to not talk but listen. Wren Sinclair comes in and defends Grey. The Culling come in. Shawn says there's only 2 of them left. CD says Wren could take both Tatum and Izzi. Izzi says the more friends CD loses, the more delusional he becomes. Wren gets upset about CD saying she could take two of them.

USA/Canada Peace Treaty

We have USA and Canadian flags with chairs and a table in there. The Secret Hervice and Ethan Page come out. Page's crew throws the table out as they know how Philly likes to get down. Tyra Mae Steele and Tavion Heights come out.

Page says there are here for a peaceful, diplomatic discussion. Page says Tav is doing a good job as he is doing what he said he would do by becoming a solo star. He says his issue is how Tav look at him. He basically says Tav doesn't see how good he is, he just sees opportunity. He says Tav is getting a big head and is still new in their world. Page says there's no 2nd or 3rd in this world, just gold and he is holding it.

Tav says he's used to sitting across from vets who counted him out, until he sent them on their backs. He says he is the bad draw in the bracker no matter where he is. He says Page is foolish for underestimating him. He says he has done the work. He says he wants what's on his plate and Page's plate.

Green cuts him off and says there's no need to be disrepectful. She says he's being rude and Americans are rude. Green says they were here to peacefully rep their country. Green says they have the superior nation and athlete.

Tyra interrupts and says she talks so much but has nothing to say. She tells her to shut up. Tyra says she's the first women's gold medalist. Green says she's the first and most dangerous women's US champ. Tyra says her medal represents the best.

Green tries to make peace and Tav brings up this being Philly. Page says Tav just wants to make violence. Ava comes out and says they will do a mixed tag match at Heatwave. The 4 then fight. The heels get the edge but then both get put in ankle locks.

Thoughts: This wasn't good at all. Tyra is an awful face and I never want to hear about her medals again. This girl is going to get Rocky Maivia heat if she keeps doing this.

Myles Borne and Ricky Saints talk. MB wants to know what is up with Starks. Lexis King comes in. He says he wants 5 minutes with him. King says he was wrong and it takes a man to admit he was wrong. MB says he's deaf but not blind. King says, "well you are now" and maces him in a hilarious moment. 

Kelani and Lola talk. KJ says she will win the title. Lola asks what she did this weekend. KJ says she did pilates. Lola said she was at Triplemania in front of 19k. Lash Legend comes in and says Lola lost at Mania. Lash says Jaida doesn't deserve to be in the match. Lash says she went toe to toe with Nia and KJ says she went @ss to ribs with her. Lash says she's the biggest threat in that match. KJ and Lola argue over who wins.

Dark State talk to Ava. Dion says they put the top dogs down last week. Griffin says nobody can handle them. Ava says she was impressed but thinks they don't want to talk about what happened with Hank and Tank. Shugars says nobody cares about anyone but them and brings up Joe Hendry. Joe then pops out of a closet and his theme hits. Joe says he's excited to see them wrestle on Sunday and wonders which 2 it will be. Dion says you either get behind them or get left behind. Cutler says he doesn't want them behind them, making his usual bad sounding lines. Joe calls him strange and Ava says she's not sure about him.

#1 Contender's Match - Trick Williams vs Je'Von Evans

Trick corkscrew facekicks him to start. then leg lariats him for 2. Trick slams him twice. Evans facekicks him. Evans' mouth is busted open. Trick does capoeira and takes a spin kick to the face. Evans seated springboard headscissors him then dropkicks him for 2.

Evans chops Trick then Trick chops Evans in the corner. Evans hits chops. Trick flying lariats him then hits mounted punches. Trick suplexes him for 2. Trick neckbreakers him for 2.

Trick cravates Evans. Evans springboard lariats him then lariats him over the top. Evans suicide dives him outside. Trick gets in. Evans goes up top for a springboard and is pushed off the top through the commentary table in an insane bump.

We return from break and Trick front facelocks him. They trade shots and Evans is put up top. Trick throws him off the top and hits mounted forearms. Trick flapjacks Evans.

Trick backhands him. Evans hits punches. Evans flurries him in the corner then hits a big forearm. Evans topes him. Evans germans him. Evans hits a top rope splash on Trick for 2. Evans corkscrew kicks Trick off the ropes for 2. Evans hits an os cutter but Trick no sells it. Trick pop-up uppercuts him.

Evans superkicks him then Trick uranages him. Trick spinning facekicks him. Trick hits an AA for 2. Mike Santana is on the balcony and Trick points at him. Evans htis a cutter then hits a double jump cutter off the buckles and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like the match. Evans going through that table should have been the end of it but it continued on and Evans ended up winning. that was too big of a spot to waste.

Overall thoughts: They tried to put on a good show here and had a lot of stuff going on as usual. I liked the opener and thought it was one of those matches that probably hurt worse than it looked. Saints/Troy went too long and wasn't that great. Grace and Tyra both came off very unlikable in their segments and the Peace Treaty segment wasn't good. I liked the women's trios match. The main had an amazing moment with Evans going through a table but it ended up being meaningless and didn't matter much. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as they had some highlights but there were a lot of lowlights too. They did try though.
