TNA Emergence 2025 8/15/2025
Pre-show thoughts: This is a very weak PLE from TNA. Most of these matches could be on Impact. Santana/Sami and Trick/Moose are the only matches I'm interested in here. TNA is also holding tapings the day after this one so no one is probably going to do anything too crazy to avoid injury. It's pretty shocking that they couldn't find spots for Hendry or Masha here but it truly seems like Hendry's halfway out the door at this point and they clearly do not have big plans for him.
We are in Baltimore, MD.

Ced powerbombs him and fisherman busters him for 2. Ced goes for something off the 2nd rope and Leon twisting suplexes him in mid-air. Ced gets his knees up on Leon's 450.
LS hits leg kicks then Ced germans him. Ced hits two more. LS flips out of a german and they trade pin attempts. Ced is back body dropped outside. LS corkscrew dives over the top rope on him. Ced standing spanish flies him inside. LS grabs him and does a styles clash. LS hits a swanton 450 to win.
Thoughts: It was a longer one and it was nothing particularly special. It wasn't as exciting as it should have been and the build to it wasn't that good either. This was also oddly slow at times.
They shake hands after.
Trick Williams and First Class are interviewed. Trick says he's breaking records and bringing in TV deals. AJ says the bald bum Moose will be put in his place. AJ says The System thinks they run TNA and but TNA didn't get the big deals until they started First Class Trickin'. Rich says they will find out soon that if you're not First Class, you're last. Matt broski boots one of The Hands then Ali dropkicks Matt. Ali then 450's Matt. Matt crucifixes him off the pin attempt and wins.
Thoughts: I didn't like the ending much here as Ali's 450 was no sold. I also didn't like The Good Hands being clearly in the ring at times and getting involved. They worked a little better together than I had expected though. It was still just an average match in the end.
Matt is beaten up by Order 4 after. Agent Zero comes down and double arm chokeslams Matt. The System (minus moose) then come help Matt. Agent Zero is lariated over the top but lands on his feet. First Class then comes out for their match before all of that is settled.

Eddie forearms Rich then topes The Great Hands. Agent Zeo double arm chokeslams Eddie on the apron edge. AJ chokeslams Eddie and wins.
Thoughts: The match really wasn't that bad but it got interrupted with run-in's that didn't accomplish a lot here.

Joe Hendry comes out to do commentary for the next match. He says he wants to see the next match.
If Sami loses, he retires - Mike Santana vs. Sami Callihan
Sami gets on the mic before the match. Sami says if he loses he retires tonight. He says he's gonna go down swinging and go down his way if it happens. Thoughts: It was disappointing. This is supposedly Sami's last match. This should have been a big epic with Sami fighting for his career. Instead, Sami went down relatively easy to a spinning lariat. This was an Impact level match.
They pound fists after. Sami then leaves his boots in the ring.
Sami gets a standing ovation in the back and multiple people hug him. Eric Young comes up to Sami and says none of those people care about him and are phonies. Joe Hendry says to take it easy. Eric says he's talking to Sami not to him. He says this whole thing started because of Joe.

Jacy spinning forearms her. Masha then comes in and takes down Jacy. Ash then gets involved and those three fight. Their buddies then break it up.
Xia and Lee then hit top rope dives outside onto the heels. Influence breaks up a tower of doom. Jessie top rope crossbodies Influence then M is superplex. Everyone starts hitting moves. M hits Cassie with a title belt and wins.
Thoughts: The announcers called it chaos and I agree. There were too many people involved and not really enough time for this. Everyone got their section in and not much else.
Indi Hartwell and Dani Luna complain about Rosemary. Indi says she wants the Knockouts Title. Dani says they make a great time but Indi says she has to prove she can win the Knockouts Title on her own. Indi says she's coming for the title and won't stop until it's around her waist.

SM gets out. He punches and headbutts Jake. He then hits a crosshairs spear. He hits another then double underhook ddt's Jake to win.

Thoughts: It was a decent match as expected. The Hardy's surprisingly kept up pretty well with The Rascalz before winning. You gotta be impressed with what The Hardy's are doing at their age and with how many wild bumps they took. I liked it and it was on par with other Hardy PLE matches.
The two teams make friends after.

Alisha does her line and AJ says nobody wants to know anything from her. Alisha slaps AJ and Rich holds AJ back. Trick hits another one from the side and wins.
Thoughts: It was an alright match and was what I expected. Trick looked good and very comfortable as a heel here. Moose lost as expected here as Trick is losing the TNA Title to Santana.
Carlos Silva hands Trick the title to close the show.
Overall thoughts: If we are going to be honest, it was a long and unnecessary PPV. The card was nothing special and they didn't do a great job of working with it. The opener was longer than slower than expected. Ali/Cardona had an average match with a dirty finish. The System/First Class wasn't bad but had run-in's toward the end. Sami/Santana was a waste of this storyline with them having a disappointing match where they didn't try anything special. The Knockouts Tag Title match didn't get enough time for how many people were involved. Maclin/Jake tried and they had a decent match. The Hardy's hung in there well with The Rascalz and also had an alright match. The main was fine but Moose lost as expected. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as what we got was enough but they should have saved Moose a loss and just skipped the PLE.
