Emergence is tomorrow.

We are in Kingston, Rhode Island.

Moose is down in the back and The System check on him. Moose says Trick Williams did it. The System tell Santino this match is happening right now and tell a ref to head to the ring. 

The System get in the ring. Eddie calls out First Class and Trick Williams. He says let's finish this once and for all.

The System (Eddie Edwards, JDC and Brian Myers) vs Trick Williams and First Class (AJ Francis and Rich Swann)

The fight starts on the ramp. Eddie topes AJ then Trick's head is banged off the apron. Brian plancha's Trick. JDC 2nd rope twisting flip dives on the heels. Trick leg lariats Eddie as soon as this starts.

Rich hits kicks on Eddie then Eddie corner lariats him. Eddie short arm lariats Rich. Rich is catapulted into JDC's forearm then JDC slingshot elbow drops him. JDC corner euros Rich and Eddie blue thunders Rich. Brian top rope elbow drops Rich.

JDC throws Rich down backwards then JDC is sent out. Rich hits mounted shots on JDC. Ric corner forearms JDC then AJ lariats JDC. AJ chin and armlocks JDC. JDC and AJ trade shots and AJ corner splashes him. AJ hits tennessee whiskey on JDC in the corner.

Trick flapjacks JDC. Trick corkscrew facekicks JDC for 2. AJ corner splashes JDC and Trick dropkicks JDC. AJ then elbow drops JDC for 2. AJ bearhugs JDC. JDC backdrops AJ. Brian superkicks Rich then impaler ddt's him. Brian then michinoku drivers Rich for 2.

Eddie superkicks JA then AJ is double clothesline over the top. Trick is sent out by Eddie then Rich pins Eddie with his feet on the ropes to win.

Thoughts: Rich just came back so him winning here was the best option. We haven't seen the end of this one and we'll have to see where it goes. Trick didn't get to do a ton here. It was a shorter one and the work was fine.

Indi Hartwell and Dani Luna vs Myla Grace and Harley Hudson

Dani and HH lock up. HH side headlocks her twice then uses the ropes to headlock takeover her. Dani tries a swinging side slam but is crucifixed. Dani sliding lariats her for 2.

HH gets on her back with a sleeper. HH jawbreakers Dani. Myla gets in and hits strikes on Dani. She legsweeps her then basement dropkicks her. Dani takes corner attacks from her opponents. We get "We want Indi" chants. HH throws down Dani by the arm for 2. 

HH snapmares Dani then legdrops her arm for 2. Myla back elbows Dani  then Dani germans Myla. Indi gets in and lariats her opponents. Indi spinebusters HH then spinebusters Myla onto HH. Indi hits a twisting full-nelson drop on Myla and wins.

Thoughts: It was short and not much of note here. Indi only came in at the end to win the match. Harley and Myla were new and weren't winning here.

The girls all shake hands after. Rosemary is in the crowd and spits green mist in Indi's face while she's on the ramp.

Matt Cardona vs John Skyler

Matt blocks a boot and lariats John. John's head is banged off the buckles and Matt is swept on the 2nd rope. John knees Matt off the apron and Jason Hotch kicks Matt on the outside. John hits munted punches on Matt and chinlocks him.

Matt facebusters John. Matt double knees John out of the corner then 2nd rope dropkicks him. Matt goes for the broski boot and Tasha Steelz gets in the way. Hotch gets on the apron then Matt hits radio silence on John to pin him.

Thoughts: It was short and not that much of note here. Order 4 interfered a bunch of times here.

Order 4 beat up Matt after. Agent 0 comes out and double arm chokeslams Matt.

Indi Hartwell is being checked on in the back. Jody Threat is shocked by this and asks what happened. Dani Luna then asks what happened. She runs into Jody and questions her. Dani says she's got it and they discuss it. The doc tells them to go away and give him space.

Matt Cardona asks Tasha Steelz where Mustafa Ali is. Tasha says Ali is busy but that's a great idea. Tasha says they accept on behalf of Ali. Matt says to bring Agent 0 and says he's his at Emergence.

Santino comes out for the Emergence tag team summit. He brings out all the tag teams - The Iinspiration, The Elegance Brand, Fatal Influence and Brookside/Lee.

Heather By Elegance says they are the tag champs. M says since they have the gold, they are the most dominant tag team in the ring. Lei Ying Lee talks in Chinese. Xia says she agrees with Lee and says they will kick all of their @sses.

Jazmyn Nyx says TNA titles keep getting put on NXT stars waists. Fallon says NXT is the superior brand. Fallon says that's why they will talk out tag champs at Emergence. The Iinspiration says Fatal Influence got hit in the head too many times. They say they came here to become 2x tag champs. The girls then argue. Santino tries to break it up. He says they have 5 seconds to get it out of their system. He lets them fight then security is called down to break it up. The Iinspiration, Xia and Lee end up doing dives off the buckles onto the heels and security.

Rosemary is asked why she misted Indi Hartwell. She says Indi walked into here like she owned it. She says Indi felt like her path to the title was clear so Rose decided to make her blind. Rose says Indi wants the title and now the path goes through her.

TNA Injury Report

Moose is cleared from a hip injury. Indi Hartwell is day to day with an eye injury. The Home Town Man is cleared. 

Mance Warner and Steph de Lander talk outside. Steph says Santino has been suspending everyone. She says Santino doesn't create chaos here, they do. Steph says suspension is a cute rule but they don't listen to rules. Mance says Santino's wrong if he thinks he's sitting at home. He says nothing will keep him out of TNA. Steph says they don't wait to be told to return to work, they just show up. 

Mike Santana vs Eric Young

EY spinning lariats Mike before he's done posing. EY stomps on him. Mike hits punches. Mike is thrown out. The Northern Armory get some shots in on Mike and throw him back in for 2. EY drops him with a punch and foot chokes him. EY throws him hard into the corner then neckbreakers him for 2.

EY twists his head and chin. Mike flying lariats him. Mike goes up and over him then enzugiri's him. Mike tope con hilos The Armory outside. Mike backrolls into a cutter for 2.

EY hits a top rope elbow drop for 2. Mike hits a death valley driver for 2. EY comes off the top and doesn't get anything then Mike spinning lariats him to win.

Thoughts: It was short and they kept it moving. It was fine for what it was.

The Armory then beat up Mike as soon as it ends. Sami Callihan runs down and punches out Travis and Judas. Then he helps Mike up.

The King's Speech

Frankie Kazarian comes out with a mic stands. He calls the crowd, peasants, pretends and worthless marks. He says, "Welcome to The King's Speech". Kaz says he has 2 of the nastiest guys in TNA and it's Jake Something and Steve Maclin.

SM and Jake go face to face. Kaz breaks it up. Kaz says this is his show and they will respect him. He says they will battle for the International Title in a no DQ, no countout match. Kaz asks Jake for words and he says nothing. Steve also then says nothing.

SM takes the mic and tells Kaz to shut up. SM says we find out if the title is for Jake at Emergence and we will find out if he is something. Kaz yells at SM for taking his mic. Kaz says Jake has the dumbest name in wrestling and may be the dumbest guy in wrestling.

Jake grabs Kaz, Kaz eye pokes him and SM goes for a ddt on Kaz. Kaz escapes and Jake black hole slams SM. Jake then holds the title up. 

Sami Callihan talks in the back. He said he used to be the most feared man in wrestling and lived on chaos. He said he used to fear no man. He says he's not only fighting Mike Santana but time himself this weekend. He says we have to answer if he still has it. He says if his hand isn't raised high, he will take the office job, leave his boots in the ring and retire.

Eddie Edwards comes in and asks what he's talking about. He says Sami broke his face with a baseball bat and laughed about it. He asked what happened to him. He says if Emergence is his last match, he hopes he wins and shows the world who he is the last time. He says guys like us are the last of a dying breed.

Thoughts: It's weird to have Eddie doing this since his buddy Moose's trash talking kickstarted all of this.

Cedric Alexander & The Rascalz (Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz) vs. Leon Slater & The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy)

Ced waistlock takedowns Leon twice. Leon armdrags and sweeps him. Ced sweeps him back and they get in each other's face. Leon is held for a shot from Reed. Reed guillotine legdrops Leon over the 2nd rope. Leon rewind kicks Reed.

Matt 2nd rope elbow drops Reed's arm and armbreakers him. Reed then takes a double team from The Hardy's for 1. Reed takes an atomic drop into a facekick for 2.

Reed's head is banged off the buckles. Reed kips down out of a lariat, kips up and enzugiri's Leon. Zack bottom rope coebreakers Leon. Reed slingshot codebreakers Leon for 2.

Zach hits downward elbows on Leon for 2. Zach hits kicks on Leon and enzugiri's him. Jeff jumps off Leon's back and corner splashes Zach for 2. Jeff chinlocks Zach. Zach takes corner attacks. Zach's throat is catapulted into the ropes. Zach takes boots from The Hardy's in the corner.

Jeff hits corner spears on Zach. Matt hits forearms on Zach then chinlocks him. Zach fights out of it and tags in Reed. Reed superkicks Matt. Reed slingshot sunset flips Matt then kips up into a nice dropkick for 2. Ced suplexes Matt for 2.

Ced holds Matt for a slingshot swanton from Zach. Zach standing moonsaults Matt. Matt hits headbutts on Zach then superplexes him. Jeff comes in and hits shots on Ced. He atomic drops him then legdrops him between the legs. He elbow drops him for 2.

Jeff hits whisper in the wind for 2. Leon and Reed get in. Leon hits lariats then twisting suplexes him. Leon hits a handspring double back elbow on The Rascalz for 2. Zach handspring jumping knees Leon. Everyone starts getting a move in.

Reed does a bridging flatliner for 2. Leon's team hits triple twists of fate on their opponents.
Jeff goes up top and Ced's partners pull him out. Leon then jumps off of Matt's back onto their opponents outside. Matt hits a side effect on Ced. Jeff top rope splashes Ced. Leon springboard splashes Ced for 2.

Zach is lifted into a dropkick on Jeff in the corner. Zach's tope is caught outside then Reed suicide dives The Hardy's outside. Leon then corkscrew dives over the post onto Reed. Leon misses a 450 then Ced hits a lumbar check on him to win.

Thoughts: It was a bit odd because it was a face vs face match. Like heel vs heel matches where one team ends up becoming a face during the match, Ced's team was not really treated as the pure faces here. I noticed that Jeff didn't do a lot of his bigger spots in this one which I found interesting. This got a lot of time and had a lot of flying as expected. It was enough for a min but nothing too great and not the best match they could have had.

Overall thoughts: It was a pretty average show as usual. It was the last show before the PLE so we weren't getting anything too big here. The main was the only thing that got significant time on this show and it was alright but nothing you need to see. I'd give the show a 5 out of 10 overall.
