Around the Ring with Gia Miller

Rich Swann is interviewed this week. Rich is playing guitar. He said his brother wanted to learn how to play guitar and couldn't figure it out. He said his dad was musically inclined. He said he picked up the guitar and was able to play "Come As You Are" without practicing. He said by the time he was 7-9 he was borrowing cd's from the library and jamming.

Gia says they need to do Around the Ring karaoke. Rich says they need an Impact band. They talk about Joe and Elijah also being able to play guitar.

Brian Johnson talks before his match. He says people talk about wanting to go to war for TNA. He says ever since he came into TNA, it's time TNA changes into his image. He says he's the meanest ever and he starts his quest for change in this craphole known as Rhode Island. He says he would send the state into the ocean if he could and club the people as they tried to swim in. He says he's from the greatest city on the planet - Philadelphia, PA. He says he's "The Mecca" Brian Johnson.

The Home Town Man vs Brian Johnson

Home comes out with the Rhode Island FC mascot, Chip the Seal. Home is wearing a captain's hat.

BJ hits chops then Home hits punches. Home chops him down and works the crowd. Home hits an airplane spin and TKO's him for 2. Home hits mounted corner punches.

BJ goes out to regroup. BJ tries to pick a fight with Chip. BJ sweeps Home on the apron then hits mounted punches. BJ hits short arm lariats. BJ chinlocks him.

BJ hits elbows to the neck and Home hits lariats. Home slams him then hits mounted corner punches. BJ pulls Home's throat down over the top rope an tries to pin him with his feet on the ropes. BJ grabs Chip outside and Chip hits him with his seal toy. Home hits a shiranui and pins BJ.

Thoughts: It was fine. It was an easy match to do with an obvious face and heel plus a mascot. It was hard to mess this up and they did not mess it up.

Overall thoughts: There was only one new match and one new interview as usual. Both were fine but neither were must see.
