Oleg Boltin & Toru Yano vs. Masatora Yasuda & Taichi

Tai and Oleg lock up. Oleg shoulders him over. Tai hits chops and leg kicks. Masa gets in and stomps Oleg's leg with Tai. Masa hits forearms and boots. Oleg takes running back elbows. He blocks a hiptoss then does his own on Masa.

Oleg stomps on Masa then chops him down. Yano takes off a turnbuckle pad then Masa is sent into it. Yano hiptosses him then kneels on him. Oleg chops Masa. Masa and Oleg trade shots. Masa hits knees to the gut and headscissors him. Masa then hits 2 dropkicked.

Tai corner facekicks Oleg then side kicks Yano. Tai htis Kawada kicks on Oleg. Oleg belly to belly suplexes him. Tai urakens him then Oleg dropkicks him. Tai then running lariats him.

Masa goes into the exposed buckle, Yano does as well and Masa slams him. Yano suplexes him. Yano takes a double suplex then Tai flips Masa onto Yano. Masa hots chpps on Yano then Yano atomic drops him. Yano spears him from behind and rolls him up to win.

Thoughts: It wasn't much of note. Masa took most of the abuse here and Yano did a slight bit more than usual. Masa looked fine but I'd like to see him to get to do more at this point.

Oleg and Tai go head to head after and shake hands.

House Of Torture (SANADA & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) vs. TMDK (Hartley Jackson & Ryohei Oiwa)

This was just stupid. The heels dominated Oiwa in the first half by cheating and they beat up Oiwa in the crowd. Hart came in and even things up. Sanada grabbed the ref, low blowed him and pretend Hart hit him with a guitar. Hart was then DQ'd.

Daiki Nagai & Yota Tsuji vs. United Empire (Callum Newman & Jakob Austin Young)

CN pushes Yota and slaps him. Yota just smiles. CN facekicks him then springboard armdrags him. CN facekicks him. Yota flying headscissors him then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. They trade forearms and both tag out off of it. Nagai and Jake then trade forearms. Nagai monkey flips him then corner dropkicks him for 2.

Nagai stomps on Jake. Jake single leg dropkicks him. CN elbows Nagai in the head. CN chinlocks him then kicks him in the back. CN basement dropkicks him. CN forearms Nagai. Nagai chops him then CN dropkicks him.

Yota slams CN then splashes him for 2. CN high kicks Yota. Jake hits chops on Yota then Yota spears him for the win.

Thoughts: The finish was a bit sudden here. Yota/Newman did some previewing for their match in this and it looked like it could be a decent one. It wasn't that interesting otherwise.

Yota and CN trade forearms after. CN then plancha's him and sends Nagai into the rails. Yota and CN fight more and CN is tope'd over the rail.

Hiroshi Tanahashi & Katsuya Murashima vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo & EVIL) 

Evil tells Tana this is his last G1 before it starts and says he will fight fair in their last G1 match.

Tana side headlocks Evil. Evil side headlocks him. Evil takes him over, gets put in a headscissors and they stand off. Evil knuckle locks him. Tana is sent out and Evil tells Fale not to hit him.

Togo wristlocks Tana. KM wristlocks Togo then hits forearms. Togo shoulders KM then is hiptossed. KM slams Togo twice for 2. Togo hits forearms then KM powerslmas him for 2.

Togo wristlocks KM then upkicks him. Togo dropkicks KM then KM takes a double shoulderblock. Evil goes for the sharpshooter and Tana stops it. Tana hits a twist and shout on Evil and KM lariats Evil. Evil blocks KM's crab then takes forearms. Evil lariats KM then sharpshooters him. KM then taps out.

Thoughts: It was nothing of note here except for Evil's team playing by the rules this time. It was short and KM took the loss as usual. Tana did little here.

Tana and Evil shake hands after. 

Tomoaki Honma & Yuya Uemura vs. BULLET CLUB War Dogs (David Finlay & Gedo)

Yuya and DF go at it. DF waistlocks him and front facelocks him. Yuya then escapes a trip. DF side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Yuya armdrags him, DF side headlock takeovers him then Yuya hits another armdrag. DF takes a double back elbow and Honma misses a falling headbutt drop on DF.

Honma's head is banged off of Gedo's boot. Honma is then held for a boot from Gedo. Gedo eye rakes Honma then eye rakes him with his feet. Gedo misses a falling headbutt drop. DF then misses one. Honma then hits a double falling headbutt drop on the heels.

Yuya gets in and hits armdrags and dropkicks on the heels. Yuya crossbodies the heels in the corner then DF uranage backbreakers him. Gedo then gedo clutches Yuya for 2. DF eye rakes Honma and Honma flying headbutts him. Yuya running chops Gedo. Yuya goes for deadbolt and Gedo bites him.

Yuya armdrags him and then armbars him. Gedo then taps out.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one but I was alright with it. Both sides did what they were supposed to do and the faces were likeable. 

G1 Climax 2025 Block B Match - El Phantasmo vs YOSHI-HASHI

Yoshi side headlocks him. Yoshi back elbows him then shoulders him over. Yoshi shoulders him over. ELP his back elbows and Yoshi trips him. ELP plancha's Yoshi outside. Yoshi is sent into the rails. ELP misses a top rope moonsault on the outside and lands hard on his feet.

Yoshi chops him. ELP goes up and over him. ELP 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him then asai moonsaults him for 2.  ELP knees him in the gut then Yoshi suplexes him. Yoshi running back elbows him then neckbreakers him. Yoshi chops him. Yoshi dropkicks him as he hangs over the top rope. Yoshi dropkicks him in the knee then hits a headhunter.

They trade chops and Yoshi wins that battle. Elp spinning chops him then 2nd rope tornado ddt's him. ELP topes him outside. ELP top rope swantons, ELP asai moonsaults and Yoshi gets his knee up. Yoshi suplexes him then running lariats him for 2. Yoshi fisherman busters him for 2.

Yoshi superkicks him. Yoshi hits forearms and chops him over. ELP superkicks him. Yoshi jack knifes him for 2 then rolls him up for 2. Yoshi backslides him but ELP rolls through and hits a CR2 for 2. ELP hits a cut throat burning hammer then springboard splashes him for the win.

Thoughts: It was the usual ELP match with him getting in all of his offense as usual. Yoshi did his part though and it was a decent match. 

G1 Climax 2025 Block B Match - Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Drilla Moloney

DM rolls and cartwheels out of a wristlock. DM flips him with the wrist then Zack flips him with the wrist. DM handstands out of a headscissors him. Zack wristlocks him then knuckle locks him. Zack does a cravate and side headlock takeovers him. DM headscissors him. Zack tries to handstand out of a headscissors and takes a very short piledriver.

DM shoulders him over then backslides him for 2. DM hiptosses him. Zack hits euros and DM no sells them. DM forearms him down. DM hits euros in the corner. DM rolls him up off a michinoku dirver then Zack twists his neck with his feet.

Zack straightjacket chokes him. Zack chest kicks him. DM hits a big german. DM chops him down. DM superkicks him. Zack tries a pin for 2. DM piledrivers him. DM rolling spears him for 2.

Zack slides between the legs and facekicks him. DM hits chops. Zack hits euros then michinoku drivers him for 2. Zack armbars him. DM lifts him out of it. DM blocks a PK. Zack hits slaps. DM hits a powerbomb for 2. Zack jumps on him and submits him with an armbar.

Thoughts: It was the usual Zack free-for-all match where he does random things and maybe it makes sense in the end and maybe it doesn't. I thought they were doing alright until the random finish which didn't do a lot for this one. It was just so-so overall. DM should have muscled him around and threw him some more.

G1 Climax 2025 Block B Match - Shingo Takagi vs. Ren Narita

YK hits Shingo from behind with a whiskey bottle before it even starts. Shingo is sent into the post by Ren then he is thrown out. Shingo is sent into the rails. Ren then stomps on him. Ren back elbows him. Shingo's head is banged off the buckles then he bangs his own head off the buckles. Ren eye rakes him.

Shingo shoulders him over from the side then sentons him. Shingo knees Ren in the gut. Kanemaru pulls Shingo out and sends him into the rails. Shingo is then sent into the seats.

Ren chairs Shingo then chairs his leg. Kanemaru hits Shingo in the leg with a chair. Shingo's leg is pulled around the post then bangs off of it. Ren pulls on Shingo's ankle and Shingo ropebreaks.

Shingo hits forearms and headbutts him. Kanemaru  trips him. Ren chokes him. Daiki Nagai trips up Ren then Ren is lariated over the top. Ren is then sent into the rails and is suplexed on the floor.

Kanemaru pulls on Shingo's leg. Shingo then hits a punch and lariat combo on Ren. Shingo corner lariats Ren then hits punches and chops. Shingo suplexes him for 2. Ren pushes the ref. Kanemaru chairs Shingo. Ren then chinlocks Shingo. Ren germans him for 2. Shingo cradles Ren for 2. Shingo suplexes him.

Shingo top rope superplexes him. Shingo hits forearms on Ren. Ren leglocks him off a made in japan attempt. Shingo ropebreaks. Shingo hits a punch then pop-up powerbombs Ren. Shingo sliding lariats him and Ren's nose is busted open. Shingo hits elbows to the shoulder then sliding forearms him. Shingo then does a grounded choke. Shingo does a grounded cobra twist and Kanemaru rings the belly. Shingo lets go of the hold.

Shingo blows Ren's low blow. Shingo then low blows Ren. The ref definitely sees it. Shingo hits a made in Japan and the ref is pulled out on the count. Kanemaru hits Shingo in the leg with a whiskey bottle. Ren facebusters Shingo. Shingo lariats Kanemaru over. Nagai grabs Ren's push-up bar.

Shingo running lariats Ren. Shingo hits a last of the dragon on Ren and wins.

Thoughts: It was a very long match here. The shenanigans started pre-match as often is the case with HoT. They got around the shenanigans and had a limb work based match for a while then they went back to it. The ref was brainless and helpless as usual and unable to do anything about both sides obviously cheating. It was probably going to be a decent match that got marred with HoT shenanigans which has been the case probably 50+  times now.

Shingo spits whiskey at Ren after and does push-ups with the push up bar.

G1 Climax 2025 Block B Match - Konosuke Takeshita vs. Shota Umino

Shota wristlocks KT. KT hammerlocks him. Shota ties his legs up and pulls. Shota side headlocks him then KT reverses it. KT shoulders him over then flying lariats him. KT hits punches in the corner. KT facelocks Shota then sits on his back with it.

KT neckbreakers him twice. Shota dropkicks him in the knee. Shota hits chops and forearms in the corner. Shota running euros him in the corner and fisherman suplexes him. Shota trips him and goes for an STF. KT ropebreaks.

Shota dragon screws him twice. Shota stomps the knee. Shota dropkicks him in it then STF's him. KT ropebreaks. KT pop-up powerbombs him then puts him in his own STF. Shota ropebreaks. They fight on the apron and Shota is ddt'd onto it. Shota kneebreakers him outside then lariats him hard over the rail. KT then brainbusters him on the floor.

Shota gets in back in before the 20 count and is lariated. Shota is tied up in the ropes and KT hits forearms. KT beats him down with forearms in the corner. Shota dropkicks him and half nelson suplexes hm. KT no sells it and germans him. Shota tornado ddt's him.

KT and Shota trade forearms. They forearm each other at the same time. KT corner facekicks him. KT 2nd rope superplexes him. Shota then 2nd rope superplexes him.

They lariat each other at the same time. Shota enzugiri's him then flying knees him for 2. KT grounded chickenwings him. KT blue thunders him for 2. Shota blocks a pumping knee then hits a hard lariat. KT package tombstones him. They collide with lariats and Shota running lariats him. Shota hits another lariat for 2.  KT brainbusters him. Shota cradles him for 2 then northern lights bombs him for the win.

Thoughts: They both focused on the STF early. It meant nothing and was forgotten about as they just traded bombs and big moves in the 2nd half. There wasn't a lot of selling and a lot of sprinty parts here with someone getting a few lariats or strikes in then the other guy taking over. It was your usual Takeshita match and I wasn't a big fan of it. They either should have cut the first or second half out here and built up on what was left as the first and second half of the match had little to do with the other. 

Shota talks on the mic after. He says he needs to prove NJPW is the best in the world and said he thought he did so tonight. He says he will keep fighting and give all he has for NJPW. 

Overall thoughts: It was a bit of a longer show than the other G1 shows. The undercard was a waste of time as usual but I was alright with the Honma match. ELP/Yoshi was fine. Shingo/Ren would have decent without all the shenanigans. Zack/Drilla was so-so and I didn't like the main. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as I only really liked one G1 match and I would not recommend this.
