WWE Evolve 2/25/2026

WWE Evolve 2/25/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/02/wwe-evolve-2182026.html

Blake Howard and Peter Rosenberg are on commentary.

Team WWE PC talks. They don't know if Drake Morreaux is coming or not. They accuse Team WWE Id of cheating. Someone new named Cyrus appears with them and is in the tag match tonight. He says he's ready to make his name at the expense of the WWE ID fools. Cam says to let Stone know there will be empty roster spots after they are done with The Vanity Project.

Tyra Mae Steele vs Zena Sterling

Tyra is dancing around and acting goofy. Tyra picks her up and slams her. Tyra gutwrench suplexes her. Tyra AA's her for 2. Zena hits forearms then she takes a pop-up drop. Tyra hits a spear then germans her for the win.

Thoughts: It was a short one here. I'm not sure why as neither girl got to show all that much. Tyra was a bit more deadly than usual here.

Chuey Martinez interviews Tyra after. Tyra says he blinked and missed the match. Tyra says she's going to watch Kendal Grey and PJ Vasa. She doesn't like Ken's changes against her. She says Ken has an impressive background in amateur wrestling but she's the only gold medalist here. Kali Armstrong then comes out and Tyra dances with her as she enters.

Thoughts: This was an odd interview and Tyra wanted it work, but it didn't.

Kali Armstrong vs Wendy Choo

Kali chokes her and waistlock takedowns her. Kali boots her in the gut. Choo armdrags and Japanese armdrags her. Choo dropkicks her. Choo cannonballs her off the apron. We go to break and return.

Choo high kicks her then is swept on the apron. Kali puts the ring skirt on her face and pounds her. Kali knee's her in the chest. Kali rams her in the corner and hits corner spears. Kali facewash kicks her for 2. Kali chinlocks her.

Kali misses a corner spear. Choo hits kicks and chops her. Choo hits lariats then hits a pepsi twist lariat. Choo cartwheel splashes her and running boots her twice for 2. Choo rolls her up then Kali pop-up punches her. Kali powerslams her for 2. Kali hits mounted punches.

Choo 2nd rope superplexes her. Choo brainbusters her for 2. Choo goes for the dirtnap. Kali rolls her out and taps but it wasn't in the ring. Kali runs into the post when Choo moves. Choo is up top and Kali shakes the ropes, knocking her down. Kali runs the ropes fast and shoulders her over to win.

Thoughts: They tried here and stepped things up a bit, but I don't think it was as good as they intended. This was a bit unusual as Kali submitted while outside, so it didn't count and the match continued.

Mike Cunningham, Sean Legacy and Aaron Rourke talk. The Vanity Project join in. Sean says this will be their last time together and says let's make this moment matter. The Project stays around. Drake says they will handle business. Drake says this is the last time they put WWE ID on their backs.

Harlem Lewis talks about Brooks Jensen. He says he picked the biggest dog in the yard and says BJ is afraid he's coming for his spot. He says he acts like he's the head honcho around here as he was born in the wrestling bubble. He says all that did was p!ss him off. He says he wants the Evolve Title and says they will fight at Succession. He says he will make him wish he was never on that show.

Special Ref - Tate Wilder - Team WWE PC (Cam Hendrix, Cyrus, Harley Riggins, Keanu Carver and Braxton Cole) vs Team WWE ID (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Sean Legacy, Aaron Rourke and Mike Cunningham)

I feel like this is The Vanity's Project last appearance on this show. We'll see. This is Cyrus' WWE TV debut.

Cam misses a flying kick. Everyone gets in the ring to argue and fight. AR topes Cam outside. Keanu throws Mike then drops Brad with a punch. Sean clubs on Keanu then dropkicks him. Keanu catches his crossbody and backbreakers him. Cyrus snapmares and crucifixes Sean. Cyrus shoulders over Sean.

Cole hits shots on Sean. Brad forces a tag and stomps Cole in the corner. Cole takes a Smokes facekick. Smokes kneelifts him then Smokes is back body dropped. Brad flatliners Riggins and Smokes double stomps Riggins. Keanu double lariats Smokes and Brad. We go to break and return.

Smokes rolls up Cam for 2. Cam short arm lariats him then slams him. Laynie Luck is watching in the VIP Lounge. Cam hits shots on Smokes in the corner. Cam misses a corner charge then Smokes hits mounted punches. Smokes hits punches on Cam's head. Brad runs into a Riggins facekick. Brad kicks the rope into Riggins' face and neckbreakers him.

Mike top rope double axe handles Riggins' arm. Riggins punches him. Mike hiptosses Cyrus and flying back elbows him for 2. Sean throws Cyrus by the arm. He standing moonsaults him for 2. Sean is hit with a double shoulderblock.

Mike top rope crossbodies Cole and Riggins. Mike hits a hard running lariat on Cole for 2. Cam knees Mike from the apron and Cole lariats Mike. Jackson Drake gets in the ring and Tate Wilder punches him. Drake gets mad. Brad says they are on NXT now and don't need to get hurt. The Vanity Project leaves.

Cam hits punches on Mike then lariats him. Keanu knees Mike in the corner. Cyrus boots Mike then Riggins flying back elbows Mike. Riggins pulls Mike's arms back. Mike rolls him up for 2. Riggins facekicks him. Cam butt drops Mike's back. Cam tries it again and Mike gets his knees up. Mike hits punches on Cam.

Mike backslides Cole for 2 and rolls him up. Cole lariats him. Riggins eye pokes Mike. Mike hits punches on Riggins and is punched down. Mike is sent into a Cam back elbow. Cam knee drops Mike. Drake Morreaux joins the VIP Lounge. Cam tazzmisson's Mike then swinging drops him. Mike fights out of the hold.

Cam takes a stun gun. AR comes in and hits a lariat and a spinning facekick on Cam. AR slingblades Cyrus. AR backcrackers Cole. AR cartwheels into a soul foot on Riggins. Cap Jones kicks Keanu from the apron. Sean hits an assisted shiranui on Keanu. Cam single leg dropkicks Sean then spinebusers AR.

AR spinning ddt's Cam. AR split-legged moonsaults Cam for 2. Riggins and Cole take stereo superkicks. mike and Sean then do stereo plancha's outside. Keanu lariats both. AR and Cam try pins on each other. Cam nails the ref when AR moves. Cam gets distracted and Aaron pins Cam with a molly-go-round.

Thoughts:
It was an alright bout here. It got a lot of time. It wasn't super memorable or anything but there was nothing wrong with this. The Vanity Project leaving wasn't a total shock. I don't like Team WWE PC losing 5v3 as it makes them look weak. Mike did most of the selling here and was fine and Aaron got all the shine as he got the big tag in. Cyrus lost in his debut here and he didn't get to do much besides the basics.

Cap Jones gets on the mic and says the pot is hot. He says it'll get hotter as he faces Jackson Drake in an Evolve Title match next week. Cap says tonight is about Sean Legacy as it's his last night in Evolve and WWE ID. Cap thanks him. Cap asks for a speech from Sean.

Sean says all he ever wanted was an opportunity. He says he's been at this for 10 years. We get a "Thank You, Sean" graphic on the tron. He says WWE ID gave him the opportunity. He says the name Sean Legacy is now NXT. Sean says he's leaving this place in good hands with Aaron and Cap. He ignored Mike (Mike is visibly upset by this) and says more prospects are coming in. Sean tells Cap to do them a favor and beat Drake next week. Sean says he's saving the best for last and thanks the fans for supporting them. He says he can't wait to see what the future holds.

Thoughts: As I said last week, big changes are coming and they confirmed that here. Sean Legacy is now done with Evolve and we are told new people are coming in. Sean hasn't changed that much in his year on the brand and I don't really see him breaking out on Evolve. He's just kind of your typical indy junior.

Overall thoughts: It was an important episode of Evolve as it's basically the graduation episode for The Vanity Project and Sean Legacy from Evolve. Everything will change in 2 weeks when the new season starts and things are going to look a whole lot different. The opener didn't do much for me and Tyra's interview after was bad. Kali/Wendy did step things up but I don't know if it worked out as well as it was supposed to. The 10-man tag got a lot of time. I didn't love Team WWE PC losing 5v3 but the match was alright. I'd say if you follow Evolve, you probably should check this one out. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 though as outside of the 10-man, the other things weren't as good as they were supposed to be.
