We are in Dallas, TX.  Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive and hang out in the back.

Tiffany Stratton comes out. Tiff asks what time is it? She says she lost her title 3 months ago. She says she wanted to qualify for EC as when she says she will do something, she does it. She says 5 women will walk in hoping to get a Mania match. She says she walks in and expect to win. She says the WWE Women's Title misses her.

Nia Jax and Lash Legend come out. Nia says she'd love to say it's good to see her face again but she's not a liar. Lash says Tiff got lucky last week. Tiff asks why Nia is obsessed with her and says she found her replacement. Lash says she's an upgrade and says after tonight, Nia will win her qualifier and says Nia will pin her in the Chamber. 

Nia and Lash get on the apron. Nia says Tiff knows what they are capable of and Tiff asks if it's losing another title match? Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky come out. Rhea says none of them will be walking out the Elimination Chamber or the gold because they both will be in The Chamber. Rhea says they will work together until they are the last two standing. Rhea says they need to beat the crap out of them both first. 

Women's Tag Titles - Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky (c) vs Nia Jax and Lash Legend

Iyo dropkicks Nia and htis bad forearms. Nia pop-up headbutts her. Nia elbow drops her then headbutts her. Nia mocks her taunt and chops her. Nia slaps Iyo. Iyo boots her out of the corner. Iyo leg kicks Nia and basement dropkicks her. Iyo rolls Nia into a double stomp. Rhea sliding knees Nia for 2.

Rhea dropkicks Nia out. Iyo asai moonsaults her opponents outside. Nia samoan drops Iyo for 2. Lash does the double dribble on Iyo then swinging backbreakers her. Lash chinlocks Iyo. Nia stinkfaces Iyo in the corner. Iyo takes a side slam then a Lash splash. 

We go to PiP break and return. Iyo dropkicks Lash off of Nia's back. Rhea dropkicks Nia then hits lariats on Lash. Rhea chops Lash. Lash blocks a springboard headscissors from Rhea. Rhea hurricanrana's Lash. Rhea hits a bad ddt on Nia for 2.  

Rhea powerbombs Nia from the buckles. Iyo top rope moonsaults Nia for 2. Lash bangs Iyo's head off the apron and post. Iyo's head is then banged off the commentary table. The ref then throws this out.

Thoughts: They tried but they had a lot of sloppy moments here and it's hard to put this one over. This finish didn't help.

The fight continues after. Lash pump kicks Rhea down. Rhea is put on the a table. Rhea gets off and Iyo crossbodies Nia through the ropes through the table. Lash spears Rhea through the timekeeper's rail. Ref then come out to check on the girls.

Cody Rhodes is interviewed about how he is sure he can get to Mania. He says he could control his emotions or get angry. He says production is hoping he has a great match in the main tonight. Cody says he's 2 matches from the dream of main eventing in Mania. He says he's in Von Erich country. He says if they don't bet against him, definitely don't bet against him here.

Carmelo Hayes talks to Apollo Crews and Matt Cardona. Crews says he loves what he's doing and wants in the title picture. Matt says he's back too and wants gold. Melo says the open challenge is closed tonight.

The Miz talks to Melo. He says he's the locker room leader and Melo is testing his core values - master, inspire and zone in. Melo says hopefully he teaches better than he wrestles. Matt says zone in is 2 words. Crews agrees and Miz gets mad and walks off. 

Aleister Black and Zelina Vega do a promo. Black says Orton is still one of the greats but he wonders what Orton will do if Cody qualifies tonight. he says maybe he will see him soon. Vega talks about Giulia/Kiana/Flair/Bliss. She says she will make sure she goes to the Elimination Chamber and says change will come tonight.

Carmelo Hayes comes out. Melo says he chose to bring prestige and honor to the title the same way the guys before him did. Melo says he's earning his way to Mania and is shooting for the main event. He says he will qualify for the Elimination Chamber next week. He says when he shoots, he doesn't miss. He says he made a promise tonight and says Ilja Dragunov is up now.

Ilja comes out. Solo Sikoa's music hits. Solo says having a US Title match doesn't start with Ilja. He says Ilja lost twice. He says he needs to get to the back of the line as the line starts with him. Ilja says didn't Solo' family abandon him last week during his qualifier. Solo tells him to shut up and says the same thing that happened to The Wyatt Sicks will happen to him. Ilja says someone is looking for a fight and says him and Melo are looking for one. Melo says he was planning on leaving with one but could leave with 2. He asks what Solo thinks about it. Solo tells him to shut up. Solo tells them it did not have to be like this.

The MFT's jump Melo and Ilja. Apollo Crews and Matt Cardona come out to help.Shinsuke Nakamura comes out and sends Loa into the rails. SN pulls Talla over the top. The MFT's are cleared out.

Nick Aldis says there will be a raincheck on the US Title match and says we will have a 10-man tag.

Carmelo Hayes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Apollo Crews, Matt Cardona and Ilja Dragunov vs The MFT's (Solo Sikoa, Talla Tonga, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo)

Matt wristlocks JC and is forermed down. Matt flatliners Loa. Matt double knees him out of the corner. Matt gets a 2 count on Loa. Loa lariats Matt after one of the MFT's kicks him in the back of the head. Loa slams Matt. Tama chokes Matt on the ropes. Solo knees Matt in the face. 

Talla clubs and boots Matt. Talla corner lariats Matt. Loa headbutts Matt. Matt bangs Loa's face off the mat. Ilja comesi n and chops Loa. Loa headbutts him. Ilja boots him out of the corner and jumping facekicks him. Ilja running boots him in the head. 

Ilja is knocked off the top by Loa. Talla lariats Ilja outside. We go to PiP break and return. Ilja hits chops on JC. Ilja misses an enzugiri. Ilja enzugiri's Solo. Melo hits shots on Solo. Melo running lariats Solo and 2nd rope twisting springboard lariats him. Melo enzugiri's Tama then springboard blind legdrops him. Melo la mistica drops Solo for 2. 

Everyone starts hitting a move and then goes out. Matt leg lariats Solo then is spinning lariated by Talla. Melo and Ilja double team Talla. Talla double chokeslams them. Crews enzugiri's Talla. Talla is double teamed by him and Matt. SN pumping knees Talla and Talla is double lariated over the top. Crews tope con hilos Talla. 

JC spinning backdrops SN. Ilja flying headbutts JC in the face then h-bombs him. Melo superkicks Solo. Solo misses a corner splash and Melo hits a first 48 on him. Melo is pushed off the top into a Solo forearm. Tama hidden blades Melo and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag here. We had a lot of fast paced action and they tried to protect Talla some by having him be triple teamed. There was a lot of action as expected. Tama beating Melo should lead to a title shot for him.

The MFT's hold up the lantern then The Wyatt Sicks appear in the crowd. 

Flair and Bliss talk in the back. Flair says she's sorry about The Rumble. Bliss says Nia threw her out, not her. Flair asks her to be her "galentine". She gives her black flowers and a signed photo of herself. Flair says she will be with her tonight to "woo" her.

Nick Aldis talks to R-Truth and Damian Priest in the back. Nick says DP is in a triple threat qualifier with Melo and Trick for an Elimination Chamber spot. Kit Wilson comes in and asks what the stunt ws that Nick pulled with Oba last week. Kit has a poem that rips Nick and calls him toxic. Truth then does a poem asking if we saw Oba put Kit on his head then accuses Kit of having a camel toe. Kit gets mad and says they are all toxic. 

Elimination Chamber Qualifier - Alexa Bliss vs Zelina Vega vs Giulia

Bliss takes down Vega for a 1 count. G rolls up Bliss for 1. Vega rolls up G for 1. G is sent into Vega. Bliss' head is banged off the buckles. Vega ducks a high kick on G. G forearms Vega. G suplexes Vega. G curbstomps Vega. Vega spinning back elbows G and backdrops her. Vega kips up.

The girls grab each other. G takes an STO from Bliss and Bliss rolling sentons her. Bliss rolling sentons her off the apron. Vega meteora's Bliss off the apron outside. We go to break and return.

G boots and foot chokes Bliss in the corner. Vega slaps G. G hair throws Vega. Kiana James distracts Vega on the 2nd rope. G top rope butterfly suplexes Vega. Bliss gets offense on Vega. She knees and dropkicks her. Bliss then does it to G. Bliss hits a double headhunter on them for 2. Vega 2nd rope backdrops G. Vega and G trade forearms.

G hits headbutts on Vega. Bliss forearms Vega. Bliss stomps G. Bliss tries twisted bliss but G gets her knees up. Vega hits a bad canadian destroyer on G for 2. Bliss ddt's Vega for 2 and G breaks it up with a running knee. G northern lights bombs Bliss for 2.

Vega knocks Kiana off the apron. Bliss hits a sister abigail on Vega when she goes for a dive. Bliss pins Vega.

Thoughts: It had sloppy moment or two but it worked out a lot better than it should have and it was alright. Bliss was the biggest name in this one and won. there weren't as many shenanigans as I figured there would be.

Jordynne Grace and Tiffany Stratton talk in the back. Tiff says she want to beat Jade but wouldn't mind if Grace won. Grace says when she wins, she wouldn't mind seeing her at Mania.

Chelsea Green rams into Tiff from behind in her wheel chair. Green says her foot is grotesque because she took her spot at Elimination Chamber. She says Tiff is riddled with jealous. Alba Fyre says they want compensation from her. Tiff says if she wanted an apology, she just had to stand up and ask...but she can't.

Sami Zayn and Rey Fenix talk. Sami tells Rey to teach his opponent a lesson. Rey says he's got this. Sami says he wasn't all there last week when they talked. Sami says it's a new night and he has a chance to punch a ticket to Mania. 

Trick Williams comes out to talk. He says Sami mopes every week and can't get the job done. He says Sami is begging for another opportunity and makes him sick. He says Sami has another qualifier tonight and if he mopes, they will eat him alive. Trick says Rey Fenix comes out here doing flips and kicks. He says Dallas fans don't want to see that and says he's not going to lay down just because he's new here. Rey Fenix comes out.

Trick Williams vs Rey Fenix

TW side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Rey hits forearms and is knee'd in the gut. Rey superkicks him out of the corner and spin kicks him. Rey enzugiri's him in the corner and double springboard dropkicks him for 2. TW spinning high kicks him and drops him.

TW chops Rey in the corner. Rey chops TW. TW slams him. Rey rolls him up for 2. TW tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him and jumping neckbreakers him. TW flips him with a lariat for 2. We go to break and return.

Rey hits punches and chops on TW. TW pop up drops Rey then backhands him down. Rey spin kicks TW in the face. Rey superkicks him twice then springboard spin kicks him. Rey rope walk kicks him. TW top rope frogsplashes him twice for 2.

TW goes outside to regroup. Rey springboard plancha's him. They fight on the buckles. Rey jump off the post and double stomps his shoulders for 2. TW hits a trick shot and wins.

Thoughts: It was one of Trick's better bouts. Rey did most of the work and Trick just kind of had to counter and do moves off of it. They kept things moving here and Rey brought the excitement with his dives. I liked this.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky talk. Rhea tells her they will get them back and tells her to worry about the Elimination Chamber Qualifier. Kiana James and Giulia come in. Giulia is mad and talking in Japanese. Iyo I think says she beat her once and will do it again and take the US Title. Giulia then gets mad and Kiana pulls her back.

Jade Cargill walks up to Rhea and Iyo, makes a face and leaves.

We get a video on Jordynne Grace vs Jade Cargill.

Jacob Fatu does a video. He says the odds have been put against him his life. He says he's never been in The Chamber but he knows what being locked down with the steel bars is like. He says he's been written off and isn't supposed to be here. He says he's winning the qualifier tonight. He says once he has The Chamber in the bag, he will head to Mania. He says he's all gas and no breaks with it.

WWE Women's Title - Jade Cargill (c) vs Jordynne Grace

The Judgment Day (Dom, Liv and Raquel) come out and interrupt intros. Liv says Jade reached 100 days as champ. Dom says he arranged a private date with Liv and tells staff to set it up. Staff the put up a table with flowers and food for Liv and Dom. 

Jade and JG lock up. The crowd chants for Dom over the match. Jade backs up JG in the corner. JG side headlocks Jade and they shoulder battle. Jade suplexes JG. JG gets on Jade's back with a sleeper. Jade drops her backwards but JG holds on. JG stays on her outside and Jade rams her into the post. Jade backhands the post when JG moves. JG single arm ddt's her on the floor. JG vader bombs her while using the commentary table. JG is back body dropped onto the timekeeper's rail. Jade then grabs one of the chicken nuggets next to Liv and eats it.

We go to break and return. Jade chinlocks her. Dom has a champagne bottle with his face on it. Jade knees JG in the gut. JG euros the arm. JG hits headbutts on her. JG bangs Jade's face off the buckles. JG uraken's her then jackhammers her for 2. JG hits elbows on Jade's head. Jade superkicks her. JG side headlock takeovers her. JG spinebusters her. Jade spinebusters her for 2.

JG rolls her up for 2 then rolls her up again. JG powerslams Jade for 2. JG and Jade trade forearms. Jade pump kicks her. Jade hits a one-arm jade end and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a bit more athletic than Jade's usual matches and Grace got some different stuff out of her than others have. It wasn't that bad. Jade won as expected. 

Jade tells Liv after that if she challenges her at Mania, that'll be her.

Johnny Gargano is still depressed and Candice LeRae tries to talk to him. JG says his partner left him and his title gone and he has nothing left. LeRae gets mad at that line and says she will fix this. She wheels him away. The Motor City Machine Guns and Fraxiom laugh about it. The MFT's walk past them. Solo says if they want a title shot, get in line. Solo then finds a drawing of his head as a lantern on his locker room. The Wyatt's then interrupt the feed for a second. 

We get an Oba Femi video. He says change is inevitable. He says if you don't adapt, you perish. He says change is here. 

Nick Aldis talks to Kit Wilson and Oba Femi. He reads a poem Kit made for Oba. It says Oba is insecure and toxic and is no match for Kit. He then calls him a clown. Oba asks if that's how he feels. Oba says they should meet 1v1 and discuss their feelings. Kit calls it toxic and leaves.

Cathy Kelly talks to Drew McIntyre. Drew talks about Orton and LA Knight being in The Elimination Chamber. He says neither of them want any of him. He says Cody won't be near him or his title. He says Fatu has the best chance as he spent the most time behind bars. He says he will make him wish he was back in the slammer if he makes it to Mania. Sami Zayn walks in and tells Drew to say what he was gonna say. Drew says a big part of him wants Sami to win. He says Sami is a good man and has paid his dues. He says he thinks he will win the big one and says good luck. Sami is confused. 

Elimination Chamber Qualifier - Cody Rhodes vs Jacob Fatu vs Sami Zayn

Fatu superkicks Sami to start. Cody hits punches on Fatu and Fatu hits corner spears. Cody drop down punches him. Fatu stops a cody cutter and superkicks him. Fatu misses a senton. Cody lariats Fatu over the top. Sami hits chops on Cody. Sami lariats Cody over the top. Sami tope con hilos both opponents outside. We go to PiP break and return. 

Cody back elbows Fatu out of the corner. Cody facekicks him. Fatu misse a corner splash. Cody powerslams Sami then Fatu. Cody hits punches on Sami. Cody disaster kicks Sami for 2. Sami knees Cody in the head. Fatu splashes both in the corner. Fatu handspring standing moonsaults Sami. 

Cody cradles Sami for 2 then jack knifes him. Fatu corner splashes Sami. Fatu hits punches on Cody in the corner. Fatu corner hip attacks Cody then pop-up samoan drops Sami for 2. We go to PiP break and return. 

Fatu is up top and takes shots from Cody and Sami. Fatu is double superplexed down. Cody and Sami trade shots. Cody drop down kicks him. Sami exploders him into the corner. Fatu superkicks Sami and Cody. Sami rolls up Cody for 2. Sami blue thunders Cody for 2. 

Cody and Sami trade. Cody hits jabs and a bionic elbow. Cody is thrown out. Fatu corner lariats Sami then slaps him. Sami misses a helluva kick. Fatu tries a top rope splash but Sami cradles him for 2. Cody walks up the buckles and cody cutter's Sami. Fatu throws Cody out. Fatu double jump moonsaults Sami. Drew McIntyre claymore kicks Fatu as he goes for the pin. 

Drew throws Fatu into the post and throws him over the commentary table. Cody topes Drew then hits mounted punches. Drew bangs Cody's head off the post. Drew powerbombs Fatu through the commentary table. Drew claymore kicks Cody. Drew puts Sami onto Cody and Cody shockingly kicks out at 2. 

Drew pounds on Cody more. Sami helluva kicks Drew. Cody hits cross rhodes on Sami and pins him.

Thoughts: Whoa, that ending was something. Oh there's gonna be some big repercussions from that. It was an entertaining main event and Drew getting involved added some interest to this. Cody basically took the cheap win here and that's surely not going to go over well with Sami. Fatu's also going to want some of Drew and I'm interested to see where this goes.

Overall thoughts: It was a pretty good Smackdown. They had a lot of stars on the show and most of the matches delivered even when I didn't expect them to. There was a lot going on here and I thought they made pretty good use of their time. I thought they did a good job in making the Elimination Chamber matches feel important as well. The main is probably going to be pretty important Mania wise and should be seen. I would give this a 6 out of 10. I enjoyed this show.
