AEW Dynamite 2/4/2026

We are in Las Vegas, NV. Excalibur and Tony Schiavone are on commentary.

We get some promos to start with MJF, Brody King, Kenny Omega, Don Callis and Lance Archer, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale, Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.

The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, PAC and Daniel Garcia) vs The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, El Clon and Konosuke Takeshita)

Josh and DG go at it. They take each other down and trade forearms. Josh facekicks and chops him. Josh goes up and over then DG shoulders him over. Pac comes in and side headlock takeovers Clon. He wristlocks him then Clon reverses it. Pac flips out using the ropes then Clon headflips out. Clone rolls him then Pac flying headscissors him. Clon backrolls into an armdrag that Pac headflips out of. Clon upkicks him and Pac backs off.

KT and Mox trade forearms. They shoulder each other and everyone attacks. KT's head is banged off the buckles then he is foot choked. KT belly to belly suplexes DG into Mox in the corner. Clon hits kicks on Pac. Clon goes up and over then does a pele kick. Pac rebound germans him. Clone plants on the ropes and moonsaults Pac. Pac is then sent into the rails.

We go to PiP break and return. Josh clubs on Pac then northern lights suplexes him. Josh finaly rolls Pac and misses a 2nd rope knee drop. KT and Mox trade forearms. Mox backdrops him and Kt exploders him. Mox shotgun dropkicks him. Mox sends Josh over the top. Clon comes of the top and Mox cutters him. Mox lariats KT. DG then sharpshooters KT. Mox curbstomps KT while he's in the hold.

Clon dropkicks Pac outside then asai moonsaults him outside. Mox topes 3 people outside. KT rolls up DG for 2. KT blue thunders him for 2. DG chops KT. KT catches him with a package tombstone. KT then wheelbarrow germans him. KT pumping knees DG for 2. KT hits raging fire on DG and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a fast paced tag with a lot of action. I liked it. This was one of those matches where if you blinked, you missed something.  

Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana are interviewed. Nana says they are focused on being at the top of AEW and says one loss doesn't mean they lost focus. He says they aren't going anywhere. 

We get a Will Ospreay video. We see him in the hospital and see x-ray's of his neck. He says his focus is rebuilding. They said his neck surgery is successful.

Orange Cassidy and Toni Storm vs Jordan Oasis and Brittnie Brooks

JO was a WWE ID gut until they cut him. I didn't really agree with the cut as he's big and agile. Toni is wearing a denim outfit.

JO offers OC a free shot. OC puts his hands in his pockets instead and offers him one. OC ducks the shot and dropkicks him. OC flying snapmares him then rubs his head. 

The girls get in. Toni hits mongolian chops and hair throws BB. Toni germans her. Toni and OC dosey do and hit corner attacks. They then dance. Toni 2nd rope tornado ddt's BB. OC spinning ddt's JO. Toni corner hip attacks JO. OC hits an orange punch on JO and pins him.

Thoughts: It was short and nothing but fooling around. This wasn't for me. 

OC says he doesn't know if the hair match was a good idea. Toni asks why she made this and says she will look like a boiled egg without hair. Luther is in and he makes faces when she brings up how bad it is to be bald. Toni says they make Marina look like Mox or give Yuta combover.

We see Darby skateboarding earlier. Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors then attack him. Gabe lawn darts him into the side of a trailer. Clark hits Darby with a tire. Darby is then put in a trunk and driven away. 

Adam Page vs Mark Davis

Mark dropkicks him to start then chops him in the corner. Page hits punches. Mark slams him. Mark misses a senton and Page sliding lariats him. Page basement dropkicks him. Page chops him and Mark chops back. Mark is pulled over the top. Page plancha's him. 

Page rebounds off the ropes outside and lariats him. Mark suplexes him. Mark hits punches and a corner lariat. Mark running back splashes him against the rails. We go to PiP break and return. Mark sliding forearms him in the corner. 

Page pulls Mark off the 2nd rope into a sitout bomb for 2. Page hits springboard lariats while Mark is on the apron. Mark blocks a sunset bomb and butt drops him on the apron. Mark misses a charge and goes into the rails. Page moonsaults off the the rail in the seats onto Mark. Page top rope moonsaults him for 2.

Mark hits Kawada kicks and backdrop drivers him. Page hurricanrana's him for 2. Mark enzugiri's him then hit a big lariat. Mark flips him into a driver for 2.  

Page lariats him but Mark lariats him down. Page hits deadeye for 2. Page tombstones him on the ramp. Page hits a buckshot lariat and wins.

Thoughts: The match was hard hitting and entertaining but they did too much by the end and got a little goofy with the tombstone spot. Mark hit a nasty lariat here and I think Page took a backdrop driver on his neck which didn't look good. This was one of Mark's best outings in AEW so far.

Page gets on the mic. Page says he heads to Australia for a #1 contender's match. He says he hopes he sees Kenny Omega there. He says if he wins the match at Revolution, he will take back the title from MJF that he never should have lost.

We get a video on Kevin Knight.  

Kenny Omega vs Andrade El Idolo

Don Callis is on commentary and has Lance Archer with him. 

They lock up, Idolo shoves him and they trade chops. Kenny pumping knees him then slingshot plancha's him outside. Idolo suplexes him on the floor. Idolo is up top and Kenny hits shots. They fight on the 2nd rope. Kenny 2nd rope superplexes him for 2. 

Kenny chops him down. Kenny hits a finlay roll into a 2nd rope moonsault for 2. Idolo flying forearms him then kips up. Kenny cradles him for 2. Idolo boots him in the gut. He hits 2 suplexes then does the 3rd on the floor. Idolo flirts with planted girl in the front row. Idolo triangle springboard tornillo's him outside. 

We go to PiP break and return. Idolo stomps Kenny then does a top rope moonsault into a standing moonsault but Kenny gets his knees up. Kenny misses a pumping knee in the corner. Idolo figure fours him. Kenny reverses it and Idolo ropebreaks. They trade forearms on their knees then get up and trade. 

Kenny dragon suplexes him twice. Kenny pumping knees him from behind in the corner. Idolo 2nd rope sunset bombs him then wrist-clutch ddt's him. Idolo corner meteora's Kenny for 2.  

They trade shots. Idolo facekicks him. Kenny pumping knees him. Idolo spinning back elbows him. Don Callis gives Idolo a screwdriver. Idolo goes to use it but Swerve takes the weapon away. Idolo low blows Kenny then twisting double underhook drops him and wins.

Thoughts: Idolo winning is an upset and the biggest win of his AEW career. They didn't overdo it too bad here and got a lot of time. It had a lot of action as expected and they kept things moving. There wasn't a great story or anything but it was okay. 

Kenny turns Swerve around and they argue. Swerve pushes him and Kenny pushes back. Security breaks it up. 

Kris Statlander is interviewed about what stip she will choose vs Thek next week. She says we will have to wait and see what the stip is until Collision. She says to pray that cosmic killer is just a nickname.

AEW Women's Tag Titles Eliminator - Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale vs Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford

Willow is hit from behind by Ford. Ford sits on her back. Meg chest forearms Willow. Meg and Ford are pulled into each other and Meg is lariated over the top. Willow slams Ford then drops HC onto her for 2.

HC back splashes Ford. Ford takes a suplex from Willow for 2. Meg shoulders Willow over then chops her in the corner. Meg hits knees to the gut. Willow step up enzugiri's her. Willow backspalshes her then corner lariats her. Willow is held on the 2nd rope. Meg 2nd rope hurricanran's Willow down. Meg then topes Willow.

We go PiP break and return. Meg forearms Willow and is pounced. HC comes in and lariats Ford. She slingblades her and hits mounted punches. HC backdrops her for 2. HC high kicks her. Ford hits a lariat. HC hits a double ddt off a double suplex attempt. HC takes a double superplex. Ford hits a double blockbuster off the top.

HC spinning ddt's Meg. Willow spinebusters Meg for 2. Meg throws Ford into a cutter on Willow. HC takes a doomsday device and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was an alright bout. There was no real reason for Ford's team not to win here since the faces lose nothing by losing and now have challengers. This was better than I expected and it was totally fine for what it was.

Tomasso Ciampa does a promo. He said he became the TNT champ through an open challenge. He says he will continue the open challenge tradition and challenges anyone for Collision. He says he won't be hard to find.  

AEW National Title - Ricochet (c) vs Jack Perry

Jack dives on Ric while he's on the apron. Jack knocks him off the ramp then flip dives him off the ramp. Jack spears him then hits mounted forearms. Jack hits mounted corner punches. 

Ric running boots him in the back of the head and chokes him with his leg. Jack hits forearms. Jack hits forearms. Jack knocks him off the apron. Jack slides out and is backdropped on the commentary table. 

We go to PiP break and return. Jack hits Ric on the apron and Ric eye pokes him. Jack lariats him over the top. Jack tope con hilos him. Ric northern lights suplexes him, floats over into a regular suplex then suplexes him on the apron. Ric then holds on for a death valley driver on the floor.

Ric hits a springboard lariat then a death valley driver inside for 2. Ric tries to low blow Jack after throwing a title in and Jack blocks it. Jack superkicks him then Ric spinning lariats him. Jack poisonrana's him. Jack ddt's him then TKO's him for 2. They roll each other up and Jack STF's him. Gates of Agony come down and Toa drags Ric to the ropes. The ref makes Jack break the hold. The Young Bucks then chair and dive on GoA.

Jack's head is banged off the title and Ric hits vertigo to win.

Thoughts: I thought they did too much here and all the shenanigans didn't really help things. It started off okay. I feel like we haven't see the last of this feud though.

Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors are picking on production guys in the truck. We see footage of them dragging Darby around in a bodybag on the back of their car. Gabe says he will see him in hell and says he's checked in 2 doors down. They then cut the rope that he was tied to and leaves him there in the desert.

AEW World Title Eliminator - MJF (c) vs Brody King

Adam Page's music hits before they can lock up and he gets on the stage. MJF yells at him. King grabs MJF from behind and hanging sleepers him off the apron. King corner cannonballs MJF then hits an over the shoulder piledriver to win.

Thoughts: I thought something could be up as this was starting at like 10PM. King just ran over him quick and won. It was something different.

Andrade El Idolo hits King from behind and spinning back elbows him. Idolo spinning double underhook suplexes MJF then Page buckshot lariat's MJF. Page goes for another buckshot and is hit in the nuts by MJF. King over the shoulder piledrivers MJF again and holds the title up.

Overall thoughts: I thought it was a good show for the most part. There was a lot of wrestling here and I liked about half the matches. They've got the next big show mostly set up and everything made sense here. I liked Page/Davis best though it was flawed. The opener was fine and the women's tag match was fine as well. Kenny/Idolo also beat my expectations. I'd give this a 6 out of 10.
