WOW Women of Wrestling 1/31/2026 Season 6, Episode 17

We are still on Freemont Street in Las Vegas. David McLane and Nigel Zane are on commentary.

The Classmaster and Samantha Smart come out. Sam what sucks is watching WOW descend into savagery. She says their title was stolen by Tormenta and then says she was insulted by Santana Garrett. She says tonight is about more than revenge, it's about salvation and good vs evil and smart vs stupid. She says it's a fight for the soul of WOW.

Scout Parker vs Sandy Shore

They lock up. SS backs her up in the corner and shoves her. SS rolls out of a wristlock and does her own wrstilock. SP uses the ropes to flip out and wristlocks her. SP armdrags her and SS armdrags her back. SS boots her in the gut and step up enzugiri's her for 2. SS misses a dropkick then SP dropkicks her.

SP monkey flips her then does a bad enzugiri for 2. SP is tripped into the ropes then SS chinlocks her. SS spin kicks her in the corner and hits a sling blade. SS hits a stroke on her for 2. SP swinging facebusters her then corner splashes her. SP hiptosses her for 2. 

SS goes on the buckles and SP kicks her. SP throws her down. SP does a bad buckshot lariat off the buckles and wins

Thoughts: It was short and not that good. Scout had a sloppy night. I think this was a face vs face match.

Veronica Varoom goes up to Catalina Speed. She says they have a lot in common and she likes her style. She says she has the makings of a champ and says she can get her a title match if she wants one. Speed doesn't buy it. Varoom then clarifies that it would be a tag title match. Speed isn't sure.

The Dojo Defenders talk in the back. Tara feels good. Kara does too. She says they are coming home with the titles tonight. Sandy Shore walks in and Tara is brushed aside. Sandy says she's tired of losing. Kara says to let her finish up with Tara and they will debrief. Ashley Blaze comes in and asks if everything will be okay. She wishes them luck and says she has Tara's back.

Thoughts: Things aren't going well with The Defenders and it looks like we will have Tara/Blaze vs Shore/Kai bout.

We get a package on Miami's Sweet Heat vs The Dojo Defenders.

Miami's Sweet Heat and Lana Star are interviewed. Lindsey says no one cares about The Dojo Defenders and says they have no clue what they are stepping against. Lana says MSH drives the ratings through the roof and they have nothing to worry about. Lindsey says they are the best team in the world. Laurie says you have nothing to worry about when you are them.

WOW Tag Titles - Miami's Sweet Heat (Laurie and Lindsey Carlson) vs The Dojo Defenders (Tara Strike and Kara Kai)

MSH are booted over to start. Kai rolls Laur on the mat and tries a guillotine. Kai sunset flips her for 2. Kai hits kicks and headscissors Laur down. Laur takes a double kick for 2. Tara hits strikes on her. Lana trips Tara. Laur jumping kicks Tara down. MSH hits double corner spears. Linds foot chokes Tara. 

Tara's head is banged off the buckles. Tara is bridged on the top rope and Laur top rope double stomps her. Kai comes in and is thrown down backwards. Kai is laid on the top rope and MSH shake the ropes to bring her down. Kai is sent into the buckles then Laur chokes her there. Kai rolls up Linds for 2.

Kai kicks Linds down and up kicks her away. Tara and Laur comes in. Tara hits a bunch of strikes and flying knees her for 2. Tara sunset flips Laur but Kai tagged herself in. Tara is pushed into Kai as they argue. Kai takes a top rope elbow drop + side slam and is pinned.

Thoughts: The Defenders lost as expected as they are going to be split up. It wasn't too much of note with The Defenders only getting a little in before going down as expected. This was average,

MSH talk on the mic after. She says Kara actually showed up and says if you want to beat the tag champs, you better show up, show out and read the whole playback. Linds says they aren't even on the same page. Laur says The Defenders are trying to find the standard while they are the standard. Linds says they are the standards and the history makers. Linds says the tag titles won't go anywhere as they are money, money, money. 

Santana Garrett says the odds are stacked against her tonight but she's a fighter and believes in herself. She says that's the real superpower.

Drucilla Blade says Blaze is fighting Genesis next week. She says she can't wait to see Gen put out her fire. She says if the fire gets too bright, she will stomp it out herself. She says if you mess with Gen, you have to deal with Drucilla Blade.

Lil J Boogie does a video. She says she's from North Carolina and came to LA to become a dancer. She says she gave WOW a try and fell in love with it. She say she wanted to see where it took her. She says she fractured her elbow breakdancing.

She says Gabriella Cruz caught her eye and encouraged her to come back. She say she's an amazing wrestler and says her moves are amazing. She says watching her made her realize she loves wrestling. She says they would make a good team. She says she showed her some dance moves and she will get into the groove with time. She says Cruz showed her Brazilian jiu jitsu and she is no pro. She said she had fun doing it but wasn't good. She says she's glad she has her as her partner as she doesn't want to face her in the ring. Cruz comes in and hugs her and they say they will kill it out there.

Samantha Smart says the stupids aka Santana Garrett are running wild in this company. She says they are no longer safe and she will restore balance.

Next week has The Alliance vs Lil J Boogie and Gabriella Cruz

The Classmaster vs Santana Garrett

Class shoves her. SG sunset flips her for 1. SG superkicks her in the gut and trips her. SG indian deathlocks her. Class fish hooks her. They forearm each other outside. Class clubs on her and they trade more forearms. SG is flapjacked on the apron edge. Class boots her on the ground. 

Class hits back elbows in the corner. Class snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Class armbars her. Class crossfaces her. Class misses a facekick. SG back elbows her and boots her. SG flying lariats her. SG cartwheel back elbows her then bulldogs her. 

Samantha Smart gets on the apron. SG grabs her ruler. SG superkicks CLass and hits her with the ruler. Smart argues with the ref as SG goes for the pin. Class facekicks SG for 2. SG headflips into a forearm. SG and Smart fight for Sams book. Class hits SG from behind then SG cradles her for the win.

Thoughts: I was surprised to see Santana win here. The match wasn't anything too special and Smart's interference towards the end was a bit excessive. The ref should have just ejected her. It was the usual Santana match and was just average.

Overall thoughts: We had 3 matches this week but none were better than average. We had a decent bit of storyline work this week as The Dojo Defenders are getting ready to split soon and we learned about a new Gabriella Cruz/Lil J Boogie team. Santana Garrett beat The Classmaster, which I assume will further her trek to getting another WOW Title shot but I don't know if it'll end up being against Tormenta. I would only give this a 5 out of 10 and thought it was a very average show. I wouldn't recommend this.
