CMLL 2/13/2026 Viernes Espectacular

The announcer talks as usual. They have some traditional Mexican dancers and a band.

Lightning Match - Okumura vs. Stigma

Oku waistlocks him and Stig side headlocks him. Oku arm wringers him. Stig flips off the ropes to escape and armdrags him. Stig is legswept and does a spinning headstand headscissors off the mat. They trade chops. Oku spin kicks him then shoulders him over. 

Stig flips out of a hiptoss and dropkicks him. Oku sends Stig into the rails outside then suplexes him on the floor. Oku gets a 2 count on him. Oku misses a corner charge. Stig enzugiri's him in the corner and bulldogs him. Stig dropkicks him out. Stig topes him. Stig then topes him again.

Stig flying la silla's him off the apron. Stig gets a 2 count on him in the ring for 2. Stig hits punches in the corner on him. Oku exploders him. Stig rolls out of a sunset flip and basement dropkicks him. Stig slams him then top rope splashes him for 2.

Stig misses a top rope double stomp. Oku bridging cutters him for 2. Oku hit a cradle tombstone and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an okay opener. Stig did some flying and looked a bit more lively than usual and Oku did his thing. This was fine. 

Hijo de Stuka Jr. & Magnus vs. Los Viajeros Del Espacio (Futuro & Valiente Jr.)

1st Fall - Fut and Mag fight. Mag hip throws him twice. Fut armdrags him off the casadora then headstand pinning headscissors him from the mat. They stand off. Val and Stuka fight. Val corkscrew headscissors him and enzugiri's Mag. Val rope walk diving headscissors Mag. Val and Fut then hit stereo topes out.

Fut springboard double crossbodies his oponents. Fut Val takes a backbreaker and Val is thrown onto him. Stuka top rope splashes his opponents and him and Mag pick up double pins to win the fall. Magnus' team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Fut is double teamed. Val is hit with a knee from Stuka. Val is tripped into the ropes for a 619 then is held for a cutter. Stuka stomps on Fut then Fut is dropped into a backbreaker on his knees for 2. Val is hit with a double boot and double stomped on. Fut springboard crossbodies the heels. Fut is flipped into the ropes and does a double armdrag. Val headscissors Mag down then Fut is popped up and he rolls up Stuka. Fut pins Stuka. Futuro's team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Fut flips off the top and his springboard is caught. Fut spinning headscissors Mag. Fut springboard armdrags Stuka. Val rolls into a poisonrana on Mag. Stuka ddt's Stuka then Fut crucifix bombs an opponent. Fut takes a canadian destroyer. The four headbutt each other at the same time and go down.

Val walks up the buckles and flying headscissors Mag to the outsdie. Fut walks the ropes and triangle moonsaults outside. Stuka slingshot tornillos Fut outside. Val 2nd rope inside to outside springboard swantons.

Stuka torture rack sitout bombs Val. and pins him. Mag double underhook twisting drops Fut and pins him. Magnus' team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was a hard one to follow. They really moved fast here and hit all kinds of very complicated dives. This went really well for the difficulty levels involved and was impressive.

Atlantis Sr. vs. Ultimo Guerrero vs. Hechicero

The heels pick on Atlantis to start UG rips his mask while Hech stomps him. Hech knee drops AJ's legs. Hech pounds on Atlantis' head. Hech and UG then rip the mask together. Hech knees Atlantis in the head. UG baseball slides Atlantis off the apron. Hech drops Atlantis arm first on the rails. UG rips Atlantis' mask while Hech pulls the arm. 

UG is sent into Hech. Atlantis hiptosses him then sends Hech into him. Atlantis hits a double japanese armdrag. Atlantis runs the ramp and crossbodies UG. Atlantis top rope crossbodies Hech then rolls him up for 2. 

Hech boots Atlantis. Atlanis tilt-a-whirl backbeakers Hech then half-crabs him. UG boots Hech in the head. UG and Hech trade running corner lariats. Hech dropkicks UG for 2. Hech and UG fight on the 2nd rope. UG blocks a top rope hurricanrana and powerbombs him down for 2. Hech flying elbows UG off the buckles for 2. 

Atlantis helps UG up and wants to work together. They shake hands and do UG's taunt. They then double team Hech and double stomp him. They boot Hech together and Atlantis is pushed into UG. Hech step up knees UG in the corner. Hech headscissors drops UG and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't that bad. The story was UG working with Hech against Atlantis then Atlantis working with UG against Hech. Hech won soon after the latter alliance started. They kept things moving and ended this before it got stale, so this kind of worked. 

Titan vs. Mascara Dorada

Titan misses a dropkick and flips over MD's back. Titan flips over him then flying headscissors him. Titan topes him. Titan top rope diving knee drops MD's neck over the 2nd rope. Titan ties up his legs then pulls on his arms. Titan then does an indian deathlock off of it. MD ropebreaks.

MD is sent to the ramp. MD handsprings off the ropes on the ramp then corkscrew headscissors him down to the floor. MD tornillo's him outside. MD hits a top rope swanton for 2.  MD does a nasty gori special variation. MD 450's but Titan gets his knees up. Titan pumphandle emerald flowsion's him for 2.

They chop each other. Titan spin kicks him in the gut. MD does a flying hip attack. MD handstands out of a tornado ddt. Titan pele kicks him. MD tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. The springboard clothesline each other at the same time from opposite sides of the ring. Both kip up at a 9 count.

Titan is belly to belly overhead suplexed into the buckles. MD powerslams him for 2. Titan is on the buckles and MD corkscrew kicks him. Titan bodyscissors him over the top. Titan top rope moonsaults him outside. Titan misses a top rope double stomp to the outside. MD dropkicks him in the knee outside and 2nd rope ssp's him outside. 

Titan is sat on the ropes and takes a dragon screw. MD tilt-a-whirl armdrags him. MD top rope moonsaults him inside for 2. Titan jumping back kicks him for 2. Titan is up top and is kicked. MD 2nd rope electric chair drops him. MD top rope 450's him for 2. Titan tornado ddt's him then suplex lift cutters him. Titan double stomps him off the buckles. Titan does a bad sharpshooter and taps him out.

Thoughts: I wasn't a big fan of this. They did all their flying but went a bit overboard with it and didn't sell a lot. It was all spotfest here. Had it been shorter, it would have been better.

World Historic Light Heavyweight Title Three Way Match - Atlantis Jr. (c) vs. Averno vs. Soberano Jr.

AJ = Atlantis Jr.

AJ is double teamed to start. He kicks Sob in the gut then superkicks Av. He flying kicks Sob out. AJ slides out and he is double teamed on the floor. AJ is sent into the rails. Av unties AJ's mask on the buckles. Sob then unties AJ's mask. AJ is put in tree of woe and Sob basement dropkicks him. AJ is thrown to the ramp. His legs are split there and the heels double stomp on him.

AJ flying headscissors him. Av and Sob then double stomp on Mist. AJ is kicked in the inner thigh. AJ 2nd rope flying headscissors Av, then monkey flips Sob. He tilt-a-whirl backbreakers both and the heels go out. Av topes Av then topes Sob.

AJ rolls up Av for 2. AJ sunset flips him for 2. Sob suplexes AJ then brainbusters him for 2. Sob tries a flying headscissors but Av drops him face first on the mat. Av is up top and is kicked. We get a tower of doom spot with AJ putting the other two down. AJ then tries pins on both and gets nearfalls. AJ is sent to the ramp.

Sob and Av trade chops in the ring. AJ runs the ramp and crossbodies both. The heels go out and AJ tope con hilos them outside. Av 2nd rope angel's wings AJ then rolling armbars Sob. AJ breaks it up. Sob then breaks up AJ's la atlantida attempt.

Sob enzugiri's AJ from the apron. He top rope tonrillo's him. Sob fire thunders Av for 2. Sob enzugiri's AJ on the apron. He tries to fosbury flop him outside but nails Av instead. Sob top rope tornillo's AJ. AJ no sells it and goes for la atlantida. The ref gets knocked out of the ring. Sob unmasks AJ. Av kicks Sob in the nuts. AJ rolls up Av and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't that bad. It wasn't great or anything but they managed the three of them well. The finish was a bit messed up as the ref bumped out without really getting hit then was late to come in and count the pin.

Mistico vs. Templario

Temp trips Mist and Mist armdrags him. Temp armdrags him. Mist handstand headscissors him. Mist flying back elbows him then splashes him. They then both get up. Mist handspring back elbows him. Mist walks up the buckles and corkscrew diving armdrags him. Temp fling headscissors him out Temp topes him into the rails. 

Temp is pushed into the rails then Mist topes him. Mist is sent into the rails. Mist is put in tree of woe and stomped. Temp dropkicks him there. Temp splashes and stomps his leg. Temp pop-up kicks him and stomps him more. Temp flying space tiger drops him inside from the ramp. 

Temp back body drops him for 2. Mist boots him out to the apron. Temp forearms him outside then Mist flying headscissors him. Temp springboard splashes him for 2. Temp hits forearms in the corner. Mist spin kicks him and springboard crossbodies him. Mist headscissors him out then tornillo's him outside.

Mist's springboard is caught. Temp walks up the ropes and springboard dropkicks him. Temp flying space tigers him outside. Temp stomps Mist. Mist springboard headscissors him. Mist superkicks him then 619's him. Mist is on his shoulders and spinning headscissors him down. Mist then topes him. Mist walks up the buckles and plancha's him outside. Mist slingshot sunset flips him but Temp backrolls and basement dropkicks him. Temp suplexes him for 2. 

Temp wheelbarrow germans him for 2. Temp cartwheel moonsaults him for 2. They each go for kicks and catch each's others legs. Mist walks up the buckles and diving headscissors him. Temp slides out and Mist asai moonsaults him. Mist gets 2 count on him inside.  Mist rolls him up for 2. Mist then hurricarana's him for 2. Temp pop up knees him.

Mist spinkicks him in the gut and hits a code red for 2. They trade forearms on their knees then chop each other. Mist hits kicks. Temp superkicks him then Mist superkicks him back. Temp flying pumping knees him. Mist superkicks him and both go down. Mist tries a top rope moonsault but Temp gets his feet up. They then each powerslam each other down.

 Mist is up top and is kicked. They go up top and Temp top rope hurricanrana's him for 2. Mist crotches him up top and springboard headscissors him down for 2. Mist misses a springboard swanton. Temp misses a springboard moonsault. Temp canadian destroyers him for 2. Mist is put on his shoulders and he poisonrana's him.

Mist trips her and Temp la magistral's her for 2. Mist springboard crossbodies him then submits him with la mistica.

Thoughts: The finish was a bit random. Mist just did la mistica when he felt like it and won. It was all flying here. They didn't do any technical or amateur wrestling and there weren't really faces or heels either. They got a little stupid near the end when they busted out the canadian destroyers and poisonrana's. It wasn't for me but it was a bit more tolerable than other matches and I'd say it was maybe acceptable.

The whole roster comes out and celebrates with Mist and Temp then they all pose together while the Mexican band plays and smoke shoots out of the post. Mist then poses with the band.

Overall thoughts: It was a very different show than usual with most of the card being singles and three-way matches. If you like spotfests and matches with a ton of flying, this one was the one for you. But if you are looking for more stories, more realism and more heel/face work, this wasn't it. The second match here is worth seeing as they just executed well at a very fast pace. The opener was okay. The two three ways were much better than they should have been. Maybe the main was okay but Titan/Dorada ran a bit long for me. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall and there's definitely a world where this could have been a lot higher had they slowed down and limited themselves.
