Lola Vice vs Kelani Jordan

Lola's hand is wrapped up. Lola charges at her as she enters and hits spin kicks to the body. Lola chest kicks her down. Lola takes her down inside and pounds on her. KJ short arm lariats her and slams her. KJ bangs Lola's hand off the mat then she knee drops it. Lola headscissors her. KJ does a low crossbody and Lola does an armbar off of it.

Lola kicks her in the gut. KJ rams Lola's arm into the buckles. KJ hammerlock northern lights suplexes her for 2. KJ bangs Lola's arm off the mat. KJ misses a knee drop on it and Lola spin kicks her in the gut. Lola pump kicks her. Lola seated springboard armdrags her using the ropes. Lola punches her in the gut and hurts her hand. KJ running knees her against the steps outside. Lola's injured hand is banged off the steps. KJ takes Lola's handwrap off.

We go to PiP break and return. Lola sleepers her. Lola's hand is banged off the mat. KJ is tripped into the ropes. Lola hits punches and hits kicks to the gut. Lola hits corkscrew kicks then  kick combo. Lola hip attacks her in the corner and bounces on her face. 

Lola backdrops her for 2. KJ rolls out to a void a kick. Lola la silla's her off the apron. Lola urakens the riser when KJ moves. KJ 450's into Lola's triangle choke. KJ stomps the hand to escape. KJ does a wristlock with her leg on Lola. Lola taps out.

Thoughts: It was a fun match here with KJ working the hand in different ways and Lola eventually giving up. This had a more aggressive feel to it than usual and both put out a good showing here.

Tony D'Angelo talks outside. He says Darkstate targeted him and has him looking over his shoulders. He says Cutler James had success in college but got involved with the wrong crowd. He tells him to make sure Dion Lennox is watching tonight. He says Darkstate took everything from him and he does the same to him tonight.

Darkstate talk in the back. Cutler says he's going to torture him and make him regret coming back. Dion says him and Cutler will take care of Tony D.

Ricky Saints is in the parking lot and Joe Hendry attacks him. Security breaks it up. 

Shiloh Hill is in a Jason mask. Sarah Schreiber interviews him. He says his mind is racing. He says Ethan Page is cocky but can back it up. He says he's watched all his matches and has counters for them. Hank and Tank walk in. They say he has a Stanford mind. Hill talks about quantum stuff and says he'll be champion tonight. Tank says he's weird, but it's a good kind of weird.

Joe Hendry comes out. He says if Ricky Saints wants to jump him, here he is. He says he's not in a singing or dancing mood, he's in a kicking Ricky's @ss mood. Ricky appears on the riser and complains about being attacked in the parking lot. Ricky says Joe stole the title from him. He says it doesn't matter how good of a wrestler you are, it just matters if you have a good song these days. 

Ricky says the crowd loves Joe because they are losers and every men like him. Ricky says being attractive makes you champ and Joe has none of that. Joe says he deal in facts and says he's something he's not - NXT champ. He says that makes him the best in NXT. Ricky says Joe's only the best in marketing. 

Ricky says Joe gives fluff answers and doesn't give real answers. He says a real answer is him as champ. He says he worked too hard to build NXT and won't let someone like Joe ruin it for him. Ricky challenges him for Vengeance Day. Joe agrees. He says Ricky will complain and blame his failures on others while the crowd chants, "we'll believe". He says he has no problem kicking his @ss at Vengeance Day. 

Izzi Dame watches Tatum Paxley's video from last week. Niko and Shawn Spears walk in. Izzi says she is laughing about Tatum thinking she has some final version of herself. She says Tatum is stubborn and will always be the same person. Shawn says him and Niko have to target the tag titles. Niko says he needs to be calculated and controlled to benefit the team and Izzi says that is what it is.

Cutler James vs Tony D'Angelo

Tony has a new theme and entrance. Tony backdrops him then hits lariats and boots in the corner. CJ boots him in the face then euros him. CJ boots him in the corner then drops him throat first on the ropes. CJ htis corner spears. 

Tony headbutts him then germans him three times. Tony hits a sudden spear and spinebusters CJ for the win.

Thoughts: It was a quick one here. Tony's trimmed down and is doing some new offense. Cutler looked a lot better in the singlet and should stick to it. This wasn't bad.

Dion Lennox attacks Tony after. Tony spears him then lariats CJ over the top. Dion is sent out and rammed into the rails. Dion is sent into the steps. Tony slams Dion's legs on the steps. He goes to drop the steps on Dion's leg but CJ moves Dion. 

The Vanity Project talk to Ethan Page in the back. Page says they are one step closer to gold. Myles Borne comes in. Page says he knew it was him as he has championship intuition. Page says he will never give him a shot at his title. He says he told him to show killer instinct, not to grab his title and hit him in the head with it. Borne says we will have to see about Page saying there's no way he can convince him to give him a title shot.

Ricky Saints comes in and calls Borne Rude. Saints says he got the title shot he wanted and said they will all be champs at Vengeance Day. Saints says Page will break the record tonight as he is all ego.

#1 Contender's Match - OTM (Lucien Price and Bronco Nima) vs The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) vs Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) vs The Culling (Niko Vance and Shawn Spears)

Price pushes Shawn down. Shawn tries to tag out and Smokes walks away. Price headbutts Shawn down then Nima low lariats Shawn for 2. Shawn jumping knees Nima. Smokes hits Nima from behind. Nima lariats him. Hank hits a slam on Smokes and Tank slingshot splashes Smokes. Hank overhead throws Smokes. Niko drops Tank with a punch.

Niko and Price shoulder battle. Niko pump kicks him then Price lariats him down. Price cleans house. Brad and Smokes try to chokeslam OTM. OTM stop them and chokeslam them outside onto people. We go to PiP break and return.

Hank airplane spins Brad and drops him. Hank topes Shawn. Nima goes into the post when Smokes moves. Price gorilla press throws Brad onto Smokes. Smoke comes off the to pand Niko headbutts him. Hank and Tank sandwich bodyblock Niko. Price footpresses Hank down then OTM hit a double torture rack drop on Niko.

The heels are put up on all 4 corners. We then get 4 fisherman superplexes. Hank and Tank square off with OTM. Price spears the post hen Tank moves. Tank 2nd rope twisting shoulders Nima. Brad flying pumping knees Tank then takes a huge black hole slam from Hank. Nima, Tank, Niko and another are thrown out. Shawn gets a 2 count on Brad and death valley drivers him for 2 when Jackson Drake pulls him. OTM are speared through the commentary table by Hank and Tank. Smokes pushes Brad on Shawn and Brad gets the pin.

Thoughts: It was a fast paced and wild tag as expected. There was a lot going on here and it was pretty hard to call. I enjoyed the match though and it worked out well. 

We get a video on Keanu Carver. He says DC was a janky city and if you were weak, you wouldn't make it out. He says teachers and counselors tried to guide him but they didn't know him. He said he liked football as he could crush people. He said he played college football and kicked off the team as he tried the coach. He says you can't control him and NXT can't control him. He says Sean Legacy will find out next week when he catches his issue next week.

Joe Hendry talks to Robert Stone. Joe wants Ricky and Stone says Ricky has been kicked out. He says Joe attacked him and he needs him to leave too.

Sol Ruca is looking for Zaria. Zaria tells her to p!ss off and says she stole her title match last week. She says last week was the final straw in their friendship. She says she's done with being used. She says she can talk to Fatal Influence then go to hell after.

Fatal Influence comes out. Jacy says she's looking forward to her match with Sol more than any other match in her career. She says she will be vulnerable with the crowd. She says she's jealous of Sol Ruca. She says no matter what she does, the crowd says Sol's a bigger star than she is. Jacy says she held 2 titles at once last year and won the title off Vaquer. Fallon then says Sol won Superstar of the Year when Jacy was Women's champ. Jacy said she to watch the Cena Retirement SNME. She says she wasn't repping NXT there, it was Sol Ruca. She says she was told she'd be in the Rumble soon after but said she only heard how Sol Ruca was in the final 3 at the Rumble. 

Jacy says Sol has been shoved down everyone's throats and says enough is a enough. She says Sol only got a shot at this title because she sacrificed her best friend. She says Sol won't have her best friend or the title with her when they fight. She says she's the best woman in WWE and the most underrated woman in WWE today.

Sol Ruca comes out. She says she agrees and says there is no one more envious of other people than her. She says she may be the champ but she's the same old Jacy Jayne. She mocks her dance. She says she wonders what it would be like if Jacy stopped comparing herself to others. She says she won't let her talk about her friendship with Zaria.

Jacy says she loves this loyalty act and says she has done it. She says she's realizing that to get ahead, you have dump your best friend. She says just as Sol's friendship with Zaria ended, so has her chances of becoming NXT champ. Sol says Zaria doesn't stand in her shadow, but stands on her own. Sol says Jacy wanted this match and Sol says she will become NXT women's champ next week. She says she came in toxic, turned fatal and when she beats her, she will learn that Sol is better than Jacy Jayne. Jacy slaps her and Fatal Influence triple team Sol. Zaria comes out Jacy backs off. Zaria tells them to pick up Sol. Zaria spears Fallon, hits Reid then throws Jacy onto her partners. Zaria helps up Sol and they hug. 

Thoughts: That was a 180 from what happened with Sol and Zaria earlier. I wonder what that's about. 

Elio Lafleur and Eli Knight talk to Sean Legacy in the back. Eli says they got to deal with Jasper and says Sean has to deal with Keanu. Sean says he won't back down. Elio says they will slay the giant tonight and says may the best man win.

WWE Men's Speed Tournament Finals - Elio Lafluer vs Eli Knight

Eli hits a kick and Elio flips him with a lariat. Eli overhead belly to belly suplexes him into the buckles for 2. Elio suplexes him over the top and Eli brings him out with him. Elio misses a 2nd rope moonsault then Eli top rope moonsaults him. 

Eli springboard leg lariats him. They trade pin attempts. Eli blocks a pin attempt with his own. Eli superkicks him. Eli springboards and is caught with a sitout powerbomb for 2. They slap and lariat each other. Elio springboards onto him. Eli flying leg lariats him. Eli is crotched up top. Eli takes a top rope release dragon suplex and the time limit expires.

Robert Stone comes out. He says we will have a triple threat Speed Title match next week with a 7 minute time limit.

Thoughts: It was a quick match and a bit rushed. They flew all around and it looks like Eli might have landed wrong on his ankle. Stone's ruling was something different and 7 minutes kind of defeats the point of this title.

Shiloh Hill talks to Myles Borne in the back. He asks if Borne can stay out of the match with Page tonight. Borne says he needs to prove him wrong. Borne says he might not stay out of it. Hill gets upset and Borne says he might see a side of him he doesn't like. Officials then break it up as they get close to fighting.

Uriah Connors and Charlie Dempsey talk. CD doesn't like him teaming up with Lexis. UC says they are cut from the same cloth and says to think about it. Stacks, Arianna and King get in. UC says CD is still thinking about it but he's in. King says UC will face Kale Dixon next week. UC says Stacks didn't prove nothing but he's marrying into it since Arianna is the Knockouts champ. Arianna says she needed a chance to prove herself and that's what UC is going to do.

Robert Stone talks to Fallon Henley in the back. Blake Monroe interrupts. Stone says Jaida Parker is suspended for striking a ref. Stone says Jaida is out with a neck injury but she thinks it wasn't an accident. Stone says he is trying to finish the Women's Speed Tournament bracket. He says Blake is perfect for it and sets up a Thea Hail vs Blake Monroe match for it.

Dion Lennox and Cutler James talk. Dion thanks Cutler for saving him. Osiris and Shugars walk in. Shugars says you don't threaten them and says when they strike, nobody is safe.

Zaria and Sol Ruca talk in the back. Zar says they make a great team. She says things haven't been the same since her knee injury cost her the double titles. She says she needs to be champ to get things where they should be. Myles Borne walks past and says he knows what he will do now. 

WWE NXT North American Title - Ethan Page (c) vs Shiloh Hill

Hill and Page lock up. Page wristlocks him. Hill flips out using the ropes and flips him by the arm. Page side headlocks him. Hill hammerlocks him. Page trips him and Hill trips him into a hammerlock. Page rope breaks. Hill shoves Page out. Page grabs a chair and Hill returns the chair to the outside.

Page side headlocks Hill. They trade wristlocks. Hill atomic drops him. Page jumps up and is hit with an atomic drop. Page back elbows him. Hill kneelifts him and knocks him out of the ring. Page brings the title in and Hill puts it back. Page boots Hill off the apron. Hill tiger feint lariats him on the outside. The Vanity Project come out. 

We go to PiP break and return. Page facekicks Hill for 2. Page knees him out of the corner and kicks him off the buckles. Page twisting neckbreakers him for 2. Hill goes up top and is hit. Page headbutts him. Page 2nd rope powerslams him for 2. The Vanity Project pull up the ring mats outside. Hill avoids being thrown on the exposed floor.

Hill takes him down and hits shots. Page single leg codebreakers him. Hill pulls his tooth out and hits punches on Page. Hill flying shoulderblocks him. Hill spinning side slams him. Hill standing inverted flips him. Hill knocks Drake off the apron and lariats Smokes over the top. He back body drops Brad on the floor, throws Smokes on the guard rail and throws Drake on the commentary table. Page hits a cutter on Hill on the exposed floor then hits another in the ring to win.

Thoughts: Hill was a bit of a dummy here for going after the heels and falling for their trap. Hill continues to definitely be a different kind of wrestler in the ring and it'll be interesting to see how he ultimately develops. He did an okay job against Page. I like Page's team with The Vanity Project. Page sets the record for most N-A Title defenses.

The heels beat up on Hill. Myles Borne beats up the heels. Hill then tope con hilos The Vanity Project outside. Borne hits mounted shots on Page and tells him to give him his title match. Hill gives Borne a chair. Borne goes to pillmanize the ankle and tells Page not to make him do it. Borne goes to do it then Page agrees to a title match next week. Page says he knew Borne wouldn't do it. Borne then pillmanizes the ankle with the chair. Borne holds the title over him and yells as the officials break it up.

Thoughts: This was a good angle at the end and put over Borne some.

Overall thoughts: It was an okay show. The opener and the 4-way were the best matches on here. The main was okay. Elio/Eli was rushed and Tony's short match was fine. Zaria turning on Sol then forgiving her was a bit weird and I wonder if there will be more to it or not. I like the Page/Vanity Project team and think Saints fits right in with them too. I liked the show as a whole and would give it a 6 out of 10.
