WWC Superestrellas de la Lucha Libre 1/3/2026

Abel Durant welcomes us to the show.

Gilbert and Intelecto 5 Estrellas vs Lightning and Chicano

Gilbert and Lightning tag in and trade punches. Gil back body drops him and hits lariats. Gil ddt's him for 2. The four all get in and fight. Chicano goes out. Gil tries a sunset flip on Lightning. Light fights with the ref and the ref shoves him into the sunset flip. Gil rolls up Light and pins him.

Thoughts: We joined this in progress and only saw 2 minutes before the finish.

 

Light pounds on Gil after. Zcion RT1 comes in and helps out Estrellas. He says he's his brother and they hug. Estrellas then chairs Zcion and Gilbert. Estrellas busts the Zcion open, chokes him with something and pounds on him. Eddie Colon comes in and supervises with Lightning and Chicano. Zcion is stretchered out and Estrellas beats him up on the stretcher. We then see Zcion get stretchered away.

Lou Forza does a promo. He says every interview with him is important and talks about his Batalla de Leones match with El Hostil Jovan. He says he's inspired and says nothing can stomp him.

El Hostil Jovan, Lou's opponent, responds. He says he will score his first victory against him and invites everyone to come out. 

They run down tonight's Batalla de Leones card with Zcion RT1 vs 5 Esterallas, Chicano vs Xix Xavant, Ray Gonzalez vs Tony Leyenda, Oscar Benabe vs El Informante, Elena Negroni vs Kamila, Macabre Paladin vs Amaddeo Sole, Jc Jexx vs Diego Luna and Joe Anthony vs Brandon the Skater.

I think this is Estrellas and Zcion's dad arguing

Abel Durant talks. He shows us clips of the feud with 5 Estrellas and I think Zcion RT1's dad, Don Felix Torrres. Maybe Estrellas' dad says things won't stay like this and he will resolve things with his son. Estrellas' dad goes to a store with a pool table. He talks to possibly 5 Estrellas and says he's ashamed of him. He says he's envious then slaps him. Estrellas grabs him and yells at him then leaves. We see Estrellas go to Zcions' dad house at a later date and argue with him. Estrellas is told he's not welcome. They argue for a while. Estrelllas ends up kicking him. Estrellas says he leaves places when he feels like it.

Thoughts: This was a bit hard to follow but I think Estrellas' dad and Zcion's dad are friends. I think Estrellas took out Zcion, Estrellas' dad slapped Estrellas for it then Estrellas kicked Zcion's dad at his house.

Elena Negronia does a promo on Kamila from her kitchen. She says she thinks abut their fake friendship. She says she's ready and says to tell her what she's got. Kaila says she whooped @ss, got her @ss whooped and heard her drama. She says at the show Batallas de Leones show tonight, she will make her regret getting in the ring with her. 

Diego Luna does a promo on Jc Jexx. He tells him to arrive prepared and says Jc Jexx is his first obstacle. JC Jexx then does a promo. He says he's facing Diego and says they just nee to step in the ring and give it to their best to the people of PR. Jc says he's ready to get his first win of the year and says he will see him tonight.

We get more hype for Batallas de Leones. They then talk about the 1/24/26 card with Ray Gonzalez vs Carlito in a match where Ray puts 16% of his share up vs Eddie Colon's hair.

Ray Gonzalez vs Carlito

Eddie Colon does a promo before the match. He's the ref here and the director of operations. Ray Gonzalez comes out with a ref named Pelayo Vazquez. Eddie doesn't want him here. Ray says 2 ref's is the fairest thing possible as there's a conflict of interest. Eddie says he's the boss and Ray says he owns 16% of the company and says Pelayo will be the 2nd ref.

We join this in progress. Carlito punches Ray. Carlito's head is banged off a chair. Ray hits punches. Carlito takes an atomic drop then Ray hits corner punches on him. Carlito ducks a shot and flying forearms him. Carlito slams him. Carlito fist drops him. Carlito is pushed into a chair between the buckles. Eddie Colon then backcrackers Ray. Eddie then puts Carlito on Ray for the pin. Joe Anthony comes out and stops Eddie from counting the pin. Los Informantes then beat up Anthony. One Informante nails the other and Anthony topes both of them. 

Carlito is sent into Eddie. Ray TKO's Carlito and Ray's ref Pelayo comes in and counts the pin.

Thoughts: We only saw a little of this. The finish was a bit exciting with various people running in and Ray picking up the win with help of his ref Pelayo.

Eddie complains on the mic after. Eddie tells him to prove that he's got the guts and put his 16% of WWC on the line. Ray says he will but Eddie needs to put his hair up. They agree and set the match up at Euphoria. 

Amaddeo Sole does a promo. He says he begs Macabre to surrender. He says he's an addict and a b@stard. Macabre does a promo and says he will take what is his tonight. He says he will hit him where it hurts - his ego.

Hair vs Mask Match (?) - Joe Anthony vs El Informante 2

We join this in progress. Joe is trying to suplex Informante form the apron. The other Informante runs in and ends up spearing his buddy off the apron. Joe lariats both Informante's then he spears one of them for 2. Informante is handed a weapon from his buddy. Informante drops Joe with the weapon and pins him.

Thoughts: We only saw the last minute or so of this and there's not a ton to say about it. Pelayo Gonzalez comes down and tells the ref what happened. The ref asks the crowd but can't find Informantne's weapon. Pelayo then comes in and strip searches him for the weapon. The match will continue.

Informante pushes the ref. The ref pushes back and Joe rolls up Informante for 2. Joe samoan drops Informante. Joe misses a 2nd rope splash and Informante rolls him up for the win.

Thoughts: We only saw a little of this. There was a lot of shenanigans going on here.

 

Los Informantes and Eddie Colon then shave Joe's hair in the ring. They beat him up and Joe gets chaired in the head. 

Tony Leyenda does a promo. He says he comes from a small town and is the most hate,d most loved and most everything wrestler in WWC. He says at Battle de Leones he faces Ray Gonzalez. He says Ray's days are coming to an end. He says he's the best.

Ray Gonzalez does a promo. He says the atmosphere in WWC is heated and says many things will happen tonight. He says he and Tony Leyenda aren't strangers. He says he knows Tony is hungry to get to the top. He says he's wrong if he thinks he can use Ray to get to the top. He says there will be a checkmate tonight.

Intelecto 5 Estrellas does a promo. He talks about growing up with his dad's friend. He says and say he envies Zcion RT1. He ells him to let his family suffer or cry and says he will finish the job he started tonight. He says he is going back to the hospital and he is kicking him out of WWC.

Zcion RT1 does a promo. He says Estrellas is brother. He says he made the worst decision of his life and signed his death warrant when he attacked his dad. He says he will pay with his life. He says it's either Estrellas or Zcion tonight.

They hype up the Euphoria card with Andrade el Idolo and Alberto el Patron.

Abel Durant closes the show. He says he will see us at the show tonight and talks about the show.

Eddie and Carlito Colon talk at a restaurant. Eddie says they have to get rid of old stuff like Ray Gonzalez. He says he hopes someone doesn't let him down. We see an John Hawking calling Eddie. They meet. Eddie says it's a pleasure meeting him and he says he has big plans for him. John joins them. Eddie says he wants him to be at the show tonight. He says PR will tremble. 

Overall thoughts: This was all about hyping the Batallas de Leones show that would take place later that day. This was all recaps and clips of some recent matches and not much else. I would not recommend this.
