Thoughts: Shane's crew won as expected here. The women probably did the best in this one with RC showing some fire and using her size. It was mostly a squash here and just average.

ROH Women's Television Title Proving Ground Match - Red Velvet vs Vertvixen

Red wristlocks her. Red throws her down by the arm and legdrops the arm. Vert shoulders her over. Red elbow drops her on the back. Red STO's her and bottom rope elbow drops her. Vert running dropkicks her then armdrags her into an armlock. Red leg lariats her then armdrags her into an armlock.

Thoughts: They kept it moving. I think Red got her eye poked at one point here when she paused. It was okay for what it was and better than I expected.

Christopher Daniels talks to Top Flight in the back. He says he's known since Day 1 they are one of the best teams in wrestling. He says wrestling forgot how good they are. He says Sammy and Mortos aren't defending their titles often enough or against talent like them. Daniels suggests they fight Top Fight next. Dante says Sammy Guevara was supposed to be a pillar but he's an embarrassment to the ROH tag titles. Dante says they do things the hard way. Darius says they are the alarm clock this division needs. They tell them to step up or take flight.

Big Bill & Bryan Keith vs. Surf And Turf (Braddah Kaimi & Phil Shark)

Phil is wearing a shark costume to the ring. He also wears a shark's head on his head like a total idiot.

Kaimi throws Phil into a dropkicks on Bill. Kaimi standing moonsaults Bryan and Phil running ssp's Bryan for 2.

Kaimi's tope is caught by Bill and he is chokeslammed on the apron. Bryan hedbutts Phil. Phil takes facekicks from both opponents. Bill swinging sideslams Phil and pins him.

Thoughts: Bill's team won as expected. Kaimi's team got a lot of shine and got some offense before going down. Kaimi's team are basically comedy jobbers but the crowd liked them. They were a bit too silly for me.

MPX Women's Title Match - Abadon (c) vs. Ray Lyn

These two fought once years ago on AEW Dark: Elevation: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2021/03/aew-dark-elevation-episode-1-3152021.html

Thoughts: It was a fun little both here. Ex had some unique offense and they matched up well. It was something different and I thought it worked.

Mark Stelings brings in The Premier Athletes to talk to The Swirl. Mark says Blake has an issue with Bandido and says Bandido cheated against Tony. He says they are tired of the luchadores trying to take ROH over. Mark says all 4 should team up to take care of this luchador problem once and for all. Blake asks if Stori will be there and says they are in. Mark accepts on The Athlete's behalf but The Athletes aren't happy.

DC double stomps him. DC goes to springboard but slips. JD knees him in the arm then package shoulderbreakers him for the win.

Thoughts: DC was the underdog here. He's a smaller guy but he moves well and isn't bad. JD winning was a little treat I suppose for the viewers of the show. I was fine with this.

MIT (Athena, Billie Starkz & Diamante) vs Deonna Purrazzo, Hyan & Maya World

Maya side headlock takeovers Ath and headscissors her. Ath forward handsprings out of a wristlock and armdrags her. Maya flying headscissors her but Ath foward handsprings out. Maya cartwheels out of a headscissors then is dropkicked.

BS spin kicks DP in the head. Hy germans BS then Ath rebound germans Hy. Ath double hand clutch germans an opponent. Dia hits a chaos theory germans on DP. DP's head is banged off the buckles. DP boots Ath out of the corner.

DP tags in Hy and Maya together. They pair off with BS and Dia. BS and Dia are sent into the each other. BS is held in the air for a flatliner for 2. DP 2nd rope diving codbreakers Hy and DP. Hy is flipped forward then BS top rope swantons Hy. Maya breaks the pin up.

Dia is sent into the steps outside. BS enzugiri's Maya off the ropes Maya gets her knees up on BS' top rope swanton. Maya then surprisingly pins BS to win.

Thoughts: I was surprised to see Maya get the pin here. That was a bit random and I'm not sure why they did that here.

It was another faster paced bout that picked up towards the end. It was acceptable but really only notable for Athena's team losing.

Overall thoughts
: We had a bunch of random matches here but that was kind of the point of the show. There was nothing that great but nothing awful either. It was a totally watchable show and we actually had some of the champs in action which was nice. Lee/Prime was the match of the night and a fun bout. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as we had multiple acceptable matches here.
