EPW Wrestling 2/14/2026 Episode #229

Gene Jackson and Joey Gross are on commentary.

Lil Bit is interviewed by Jaxx Roxx. Jaxx says she's kind of an afterthought in the locker room. She disagrees. She says she's everything you are supposed to be as a women's champ. She says she works hard and has earned the spot. She says she will prove it in any locker room.

EPW Women's Title - Lil Bit (c) vs Diana Taylor

They lock up and let go. They try to hip attack each other at the same time. DT lariats her and back elbows her. DT side slams her for 2. DT's head is banged off the mat. Bit knees her in the gut and pump kicks her while she is down. Bit sentons her for 2. 

Bit elbows her over and chinlocks her on the 2nd rope. Bit rolling sentons her for 2. DT gets a 2 count on her. Bit hits some kicks and lariats her for 2. DT crucifixes her. Bit suplexes her. DT then suplexes her. Bit hits another suplex. They bang each other's faces off the mat. Bit jack knifes her for 2. Bit gordbusters her and wins.

Thoughts: It was an average match here. There was nothing great or bad about it but they didn't botch anything. DT was over some here.

Elijah Owens is interviewed. Gross says some people are saying he's lucky. Eli disagrees and says it's self made skill. Gross says he saw an opportunity and took it. Eli says he worked for the win and did it all by himself.  

Chuck Swann is getting ready for a match. Moses Cain throws him in the ring then black hole slams him. Elijah Owens comes in and wants the match to start.

Chuck Swann vs Elijah Owens

Eli rolls Chuck up and pins him.

Thoughts: This continues Eli's good luck streak here as he won in seconds.

Eli does a big celebration after.

Ray Collins vs Amari the Maestro

Amari gets up in his face and rests his arms on his head. Ray shoves him. Amari pulls him down off the lock up then pushes him off the lock up. Amari atomic drops him and slams him. 

Amari armlocks him. Ray boots him and hits a forearm. Ray elbow drops the leg. Amari boots him away. Amari euros him. Amari hits snake eyes and a big boot. Amari hits a nice spinning side slam for 2. Ray rolls him up for 2. Amari goes for the roll up. Ray grabs the ref and kicks Amari in the crotch. Ray rolls up Amari and pins him while holding the tights.

Thoughts: They got the idea right here with Ray being outsized and having to use cheap tactics to pull off the win. It was a bit of a surprise as Ray was treated like an underdog face but ended up heeling to win here. 

Makkari Kandy is interviewed by Jaxx Roxx. Jaxx says the issue with Raven Black is getting out of hand. MK says she's enraged and has respected everyone who walked through the door. She says Raven tried to end her career but it won't go like that. She says she vows to end her career the next time she sees her in the ring.

Eli Knox and Hollywood Jimmy come out. Jimmy says it was horrible doing commentary with Joey Gross. He says Joey always puts Eli down. He says he knew Eli was the greatest when he walked through the doors for the first time. Jimmy says he demands respect. He says Eli has beaten everybody. Jimmy says they should challenge anyone in the back. Eli then dares someone to step up and get humiliated. Nyxx comes out.

EPW Apex Title - Eli Knox (c) vs Nyxx

This is an intergender match. Eli waistlock takedowns her and gyrates. Nyx gets mad and hits forearms. Nyx throws him twice. Nyx slams him for 2. Nyx chops him and bangs his head off the buckles. 

Eli boots Nyx in the corner off a missed charge. Eli foot chokes her. Nyx hits a running back splash in the corner then a running lariat. Nyx fisherman suplexes him for 2. Eli goes out to stall and Jimmy calls timeout again. Jimmy blocks Nyx from getting at Eli. Eli then hits Nyx.

Eli is swept on the apron. Eli pump kicks her then elbow drops her for 2. Nyx jawbreakers him and hits a big spear. Nyx lariats and back elbows him. Nyx samoan drops him. Jimmy tries to trip her but is booted away. Eli then grabs Nyx from behind and bangs her face off the mat. Eli fameassers her and wins.

Thoughts: I'm not into intergender stuff but they did alright with it. Nyx didn't get a lot in but some of the basics. Eli avoided her a lot and ended up cheating to win. 

Parental Advisory (Hunter Dabbs and Dakota Gage) vs The Initiative (Trace Hunt and Jason Genesis)

Aryann is with The Initiative.

Advisory attacks as The Initiative enter. Hunt is sent into the rails. Jason takes a double kick in the corner and Dabbs basement dropkicks him. Gage sentons him and hits a side slam. Dabbs slingshot swantons Jason for 2. Dabbs corner euos Jason. Gage corner spears Jason and Dabbs step up enzugiri's him. Gage corner lariats Jason. Dabbs is caught in the corner and slammed on Gage.

Hunt and Jason hit stereo powerslams. Hunt suplexes Dabbs and Jason sentons Dabbs. Dabbs' head is banged off the buckles. Dabbs boots Jason out of the corner. Hunt germans Dabbs for 2. Hunt hits 2 suplexes on Dabbs. Hunt russian legsweeps Dabbs. Jason goes for a 2nd rope moonsault and Dabbs gets his knees up.

Dabbs goes for the tag and Hunt dropkicks Gage off the apron. Dabbs is held for a single led codebreaker for 2. Hunt is up top. Dabbs pushes Jason over the top and Hunt falls off the top. Gage tags in. He lariats Hunt and running back elbows him. Gage spinebusters Hunt. Dabbs hits a top rope frogsplashe on Hunt.

Jason pulls Gage over the top. Dabbs is superkicked then takes a backdrop into a backcracker for 2. Aryanna throws chairs in the ring. Tony Dabbs (Advisory's dad) comes down. The Intiative get distracted. Gage and Dabbs chair the heels for the DQ.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout here. The heels are decent workers and Gage and Dabbs did what they are supposed to. We got a DQ finish but the reasoning behind it made sense. Hunt took a risky bump off the top when Jason got pushed into the ropes.

Gage offers a handshake to Dabbs. Dabbs slaps the hand then hugs him. Their dad holds their arms up.

Overall thoughts: The opener was average. Elijah Owens squeaked out a quick win. Ray vs Amari was interesting Ray getting heeled on then doing his own heelish stuff to win. Knox/Nyxx was an okay intergender bout and the main was fine. They did a good job with recapping past events and we'll have to see what comes next time out of this show. This was an okay show and I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
