The Infantry, Trish Adora and the new girl talk. Dean says he was in Australia trying to buy a kangaroo and Robbie Eagles walked up on him. Bravo says Trish has a winstreak and says she will win if she hits a lariat on Deonna tonight. Trish says Deonna can only make challenges because she got lucky and says her luck ends tonight. Bravo says to expect a new champ tonight.

Adam Priest vs JD Drake

AP is pushed backwards and pulled down on the lock up. AP chops him and JD shoulders him over. AP side headlocks him then JD shoulders him over. JD chops him down.  

JD chops AP on the ropes. AP step up enzugiri's him and knees him out from behind. AP dropkicks JD through the ropes. JD throws him up into the ropes from the outside and lariats him. JD sentons AP then slams him. JD falling headbutt drops him.

AP chops him. JD blocks a sunset flip and legdrops him. JD stands on him on the bottom rope. JD chops him in the corner. JD blocks a sunset flip and misses a legdrop on AP. JD misses a corner charge. AP lariats him twice. AP flying lariats him. 

AP 2nd rope tornado ddt's him for 2. AP goes up top and JD pushes the ref into the ropes to crotch him. They fight on the 2nd rope. AP sunset bombs him down for 2. JD release suplexes him and shining wizards him for 2. JD hits a big lariat for 2.

JD yells at him to stay down. AP then rolls him up and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a decent bout. JD bulled AP for a lot of this and AP got the surprise win in the end. It looked like a decent bout on paper and lived up to the expectation. 

The Frat House (Griff Garrison and Cole Karter) vs TMDK (Shane Haste and Bad Dude Tito)

The Frat's hit TMDK from behind. Tito is whipped into a Cole dropkick. GG corner flying lariats Tito and Cole overshoots a dropkick on Tito. Tito takes a drop + flying headkick for 2. Tito chops both opponents. Cole is pushed into GG. Tito double northern lights suplexes them. 

Shane comes in. He dropkicks Cole then flying knees him in the corner. Shane corner cannonballs him. Cole forearms Shane then Shane falcon arrows him for 2. Tito and GG trade forearms. Tito punches him and spinning enzugiri's him. Tito deadlift germans GG.

Tito topes Griff and The Frat's outside. Shane lariats Cole. Shane does an AA into a uranage on Cole and pins him.

Thoughts: Tito was double teamed for the first part of this then Shane came in and cleaned house. It was a short but okay bout and I thought TMDK winning as an upset.

ROH Women's TV Title - Red Velvet (c) vs Zayda Steel

They lock up twice and let go. Zay armlocks her then Red side headlocks her. Zay side headlocks her and shoulders her over. Red hits armdrags and armlocks her. Zay corner crossbodies her then backslides her for 2. Red rolls her up for 2 then Zay rolls her up for 2. They trade cradles.

Red boots her in the head over the bottom rope for 2. Red gets stuck on the 2nd rope nad takes a backcracker. Zay backcrackers her over the 2nd rope. Zay running euros her in the corner then Red does the same to her. 

Zay jawbreakers her and koppo kicks her for 2. Red iconoclasm's her for 2. Zay spinning forearms her then TKO's her for 2. Red spin kicks her in the face and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. Zay's offense was sloppy and Red's not the greatest. It was just two girls doing moves for the most part without any real logic.

TMDK say they are back. The Infantry go up to them. The two teams argue. Ogogo and Shane Taylor then jump TMDK from behind. Bravo says Robbie Eagles got his attention in Australia. Shane says to tell Robbie Eagles all the tough talk on Twitter can get someone hurt.

The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zach Gibson and James Drake), Big Bill and Bryan Keith vs Dom Kubrick, CJ Tino, Richie Slade and Che Cabrera

Bryan throws his poncho at a jobber and pounds on him. Bryan side headlocks him then flying shoulders him. Bryan facekicks him. Bryan side headlocks another jobber. Drake comes in and takes shots from the jobber. Drake counters forearms with headbutts. The jobber takes a leg lariat. 

Zach hits forearms on one of the jobbers and foot chokes him. Che comes in vs Bill. Che hits shots on Bill. Bill lariats him. Bill corner splashes him. Zach takes a jawbreaker from Che. Slade superkicks Zach. Dom takes a baseball slide to the head then Drake jumps off of Zach's back with a kick on his opponents in the corner. Bill then gets the pin on Dom.

Thoughts: It was a squash. The announcers didn't figure out who was who until half into it and it wasn't too much of note. Bryan hit a nice facekick here.

Drake gives Bill money after. 

Skyflight come out as The Vets' team exists the ramp. They stare down.

Skyflight (Scorprio Sky, Dante and Darius Martin) vs Ricky Gee, Adrian Quest and Danny Rose

AQ kicks away Sky's handshake. Sky wristlocks him and AQ wristlocks him back. Sky trips him and they trade armdrags. They armdrag each other at the same time. Sky double stomps AQ's back. Dante springboard double stomps AQ's arm. Darius leapfrogs into a butt drop on the arm. Darius la magistral's AQ then armdrags him into an armlock.

Darius is tripped into a double stop and a double basement dropkick. Rose crossfaces Darius then front facelocks him. Dante is tagged in. He hits shots on a jobber and dropkicks him. He then flying knees another. Gee takes a springboard crossbody from Dante for 2. Sky hits a double lariat on the jobbers. AQ takes corner attacks then is swept into a basement dropkick. Sky hits a sky high on Rose. I think Gee is slingshotted into a cutter and pinned.

Thoughts: It was a fast paced bout and it was hard to tell the jobbers apart. Skyflight moved well here en route to victory.

Jay Lethal vs Tommy Billington

Jay offers a handshake then boots him. Jay stomps on him. Tom hiptosses and slams him. Tom top dropkicks Jay. Tom then plancha's him. Tom shakes Jay's hand inside then back body drops him. Tom's throat is pulled over the top then he is suplexed on the apron. Jay bridging neckbreakers him on the floor and Tom smacks his head hard off the floor.

Jay boots Tom. Tom chops back. Jay suplexes him. Jay chops Tom down in the corner. Jay pounds on him in the corner. Jay elbow drops Tom's leg. Jay figure fours him then chops him down. Jay goes up top and Tom moves to the other side. They repeat the spot. 

Jay takes shots while on the top rope. Tom hits headbutts and superplexes him for 2. They trade forearms. Jay hits a lethal combination. Lee Johnson gets on the apron and Tom is distracted. Blake Christian trips Tom. My stream freezes up and Jay ends up getting the win.

Thoughts: It started off okay and they lost some of the rhythm of this. Tom didn't really need to lose dirty here but I guess it will build to something. Tom took a nasty neckbreaker on the floor where his head just bounced.

Satnam Singh vs Jordan Oasis

They shake hands and Sat squeezes the hand. JO hits some forearms. JO is caught off the 2nd rope and takes a fallaway slam. Sat chops him then shoulders him over. Sat does a trapezius hold on JO. JO misses a corner charge and is clipped. JO hits kicks to the leg then dropkicks him in the head. JO hits his blackout cannonball. Sat no sells it and chokeslams him for the win.

Thoughts: Jordan's bigger guy and him and Satnam was something different. It wasn't a bad squash and it was surprising to see Jordan take a fallaway slam.

Deonna Purazzo congratulates Trish Adora for picking up wins. She says she's still not understanding what it means to be pure. She says there's no outside help or entourage in pure rules. She says if she wants a shot, it's just them.

Persphone vs Johnnie Robbie

They lock up and go to the ropes. They armdrag each other and JR headscissors her. Pers basement dropkicks her off a sunset flip. Pers snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Pers hits boots to the head then hip throws her. Pers clubs on her and fish hooks her.

Pers piefaces her. JR euros her. Pers rams her her into the corner and hits boots and punches. Pers back elbows her down for 2. Pers chinlocks her. JR kicks her fromthe ropes and high kiks her. JR pepsi twists her for 2. JR top rope crossbodies her. Pers bridges out of a lariat. Pers hits a razor's edge and wins.

Thoughts: It was better than the other women's match on the show. They didn't do too bad here but didn't get enough time to make it anything great. 

Tony Nese vs Komander

Nese comes out with Ari, Stori and Sterling. Sterling says Dan Diego is like if San Jose let itself go. Sterling says we have an epidemic in ROH called lucha libre. Sterling says Nese is the leader of this crusade. Sterling then tries the "Athletes Rule" but the crowd doesn't go along with it. 

Nese backs him up in the corner and sticks his muscle in his face. Nese back elbows him and flips over him. Kom flips over his back. Kom hits armdrags and dropkicks him.

Kom hits shots on him. Nese goes out and Kom topes him. Kom chops him outside. Ari Daivari distracts Kom. Nese puts the ring skirt over Koms head and hits him. Sterling and Ari then stomp on Kom outside. Nese waistlocks him. Nese hits a double stomp then he bodyscissors him. 

Nese spears the post when Kom moves. Kom hits kicks to the legs. Kom ddt's Nese. Kom standing moonsaults him. Kom moonsaults off the top and Nese gets his feet up. Nese spin kicks him in the head for 2. Kom rolls him up for 2. Kom walks up the buckles, does rope tricks and diving ddt's Nese. Kom rope walk ssp's Nese and pins him.

Thoughts: It was one of Kom's better efforts. He didn't do too many crazy dives and didn't do any head drop moves to Nese. Nese kept it simple and lost as he almost always does. It was acceptable.

ROH Television Title Proving Ground Match - Nick Wayne vs Lucas Riley

This is Nick's return after being out with an injury for a long time. Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian are with Nick. 

Nick kicks LR's handshake away. Nick snapmares him and taps him on the head. Nick wristlocks him. LR uses the ropes, flips out, armdrags him and rubs his head. LR headscissors and dropkicks Nick. LR flying forearms Nick in the corner. Nick suplexes him into the buckles. 

Nick chops him then legdrops him for 2. LR snapmares him and michinoku drivers him for 2. LR swantons and Nick get his knees up. Nick dragon suplexes him for 2. Nick la magistral's him for 2. LR rolls him up for 2. LR runs into a high kick and Nick pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout. Riley had a good showing and looked a bit more impressive than Nick. Nick won as expected here.

ROH Women's Pure Title - Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Trish Adora

DP offers a handshake and TA boots it away. They lock up and DP wristlocks her. TA reverses it. DP wristlocks her and TA side headlock takeovers her. DP side headlock takeovers her. They stand off. DP rolls her up and TA rolls out of an armbar.

DP yanks back on TA's arm with her legs. TA is a wristlock and she pulls DP chest first into the ropes and the ref calls it a ropebreak against Trish. TA pump kicks her. TA does an upside down submission with DP's neck on her knee. TA takes her down by the wrist.

TA kicks her in the back. TA sins on her shoulder and pulls her arms back. TA armdrags her then corner splashes her. TA hits hip attacks in the corner. TA cradles DP for 2. They trade forearms. DP short arm lariats her and both go down. DP hits lariats and knee lifts her in the face. DP russian legsweeps her and armbars her. TA uses her 2nd rope break to escape.

DP hits back elbows on her and TA germans her for 2. DP powerbombs her right on her neck and goes for the armbar but can't hold on. TA lariats her and DP rolls out. TA rolls her back in. DP ducks a lariat. DP trips her into an armbar/shoulderlock. TA taps out.

Thoughts: It was an alright bout here. DP worked the arm some before winning with an armbar submission. DP's armbar to win this was really more of a shoulderlock and it looked good. TA got stuffed hard on her neck here on a powerbomb.

Diamante and Billie Starkz come out and jump DP after. Trish then joins in. Trish then holds the title up. Trish leaves with Billie and Dia after. 

Athena does a promo. She says Deonna is a fake human being. She says she'd rather crap in her hands and clap than see her as Pure champ for another day. She says she's here for Maya World though. She says Maya embarrassed her at ROH/Metroplex Global Wars by using what she learned against Athena. Athena says sometimes mothers have to beat their children to the ground. She says she wants a proving ground match next time and says she hopes she's ready. 

Overall thoughts: We had a bunch of mostly random but okay matches here. We had a couple of champs on the show at least which was nice. I'd say the opener of Priest/JD was the match of the night here and the main was maybe the 2nd best bout. There was nothing you need to see here but the show was fine. This ran an hour and forty-two minutes for some reason and was a lot longer than the shows they have been putting on lately. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
