Pro Wrestling NOAH 2/2/2026 Monday Magic Rising Sun Season #3

We are in Tokyo, Japan at Shinjuku FACE. The Monday Magic shows are mostly random and you never know who will show up.

Atsushi Kotoge vs. AMAKUSA vs. Dragon Bane

AK wristlocks Ama and is taken down. AK armdrags Bane and Bane sunset flips Ama off of it. AK cradles Ama for 2. Ama and AK do armdrags then we get a triple dropkick attempt. 

Bane boots AK in the gut. AK uppercuts Ama then Bane superkicks AK down. Bane flying headscissors Ama. Bane PK's him then standing moonsaults him for 2. AK wants to work together with Bane. He tells him he loves him. They shake hands. Ama takes a double back elbow, Bane goes for the pin and AK stomps Bane. 

AK headscissors Ama over the top. AK baseball slides Ama. Bane is pulled over the top and AK tope con hilos both. AK boots Ama out of the corner. Ama enzugiri's him then hurricanrana's him down for 2. 

Bane springboard euros AK. Bane handspring corkscrew kicks Ama off the ropes. AK PK's Bane. Ama buzzsaw kicks AK for 2. AK flying sick kick's Ama then air raid crashes him for 2. Bane flying pumping knees AK. Bane superkicks Ama on the apron then tope con hilos him. Ama corkscrew topes both opponents outside. Ama spiral tap's AK and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an okay juniors battle here. We got some flying as expected and they didn't overdo it too much before going home. It could have been a little shorter though.

Chase Emery vs. Sodapop

Soda is Sodapop Hendrix. He has Sonny Ono with him. 

Chase offers a handshake and Soda slaps it away. Soda side headlocks him and snapmares him. Soda knees him in the gut and chinlocks him. Chase takes him down and armlocks him. Soda armdrags him into an armlock.

Soda trips him and drops down on the leg. Soda grabs the other leg. Chase kind of handstands out then grabs his leg. Chase hammerlocks him and does a pin attempt off of it. Chase does a head and arm lock on him then chinlocks him. 

Soda side headlocks Chase. Chase shoulders him over. Ono trips Chase then Soda forearms Chase. Chase's head is banged off the buckles and Soda enzugiri's him. Soda rolls over him and takes a back elbow. Chase suplexes him for 2. 

Soda hits kicks and boots. Soda double stomps the leg. Chase boots him away and Soda back elbows him Chase's head is banged off the buckles. Chase hits punches and euros him in the corner. Soda boots him out of the corner. 

Soda bangs Chase's leg off the mat then splashes the leg. Soda clips him. Sonny kicks Chase outside. Chase goes after him then Soda PK's Chase off the apron. Soda double stomps Chase's back. Chase hits shots on him in the ring. Soda trips Chase into a half crab. Chase rope breaks.

Soda foot slaps him then kicks him in the back of the neck. Chase hits punches then elbows him over. Chase belly to belly overhead suplexes him for 2. Chase top rope crossbodies him but Soda rolls through. Chase then rolls through that and pins him.

Thoughts: Chase really mogged Soda here wrestling wise. Chase is very clearly a skilled amateur wrestler. He's got a good look (though he's not the tallest) and he's someone WWE should be eying. Soda didn't look that great here and he didn't do a lot but various kicks. It wasn't great or anything but this was good exposure for Chase.

Dream Girl Ellie & ZONES vs. Alivia Rose & Great Sakuya vs. Marie Malenko & Sofia Sivan

This is Marie Malenko's debut and she's related to the Malenko's. Rose is in the blue and white. Sofia is in the black and pink.

Rose headlocks Ellie while Sofia waistlocks her. Ellie slips out and we get some triple holds. Sofia hip throws Ellie. Sofia reverse monkey flips Rose. All 3 girls tag out. Sakuya spits her mist. Zones and Marie boot Sakuya. Sakuya takes a double back elbow. Zones and Marie go for pins.

Marie forearms Zones then Marie armdrags her. Zones crucifixes her. Marie 2nd rope twisting crossbodies Zones. Zones shoulders her over. Sakuya pulls Zones out and stomps on her. Sakuya axe kicks Marie's back. Marie lariats Sakuya down and trips her into the ropes. Marie meteora's Sakuya from behind on the ropes for 2. 

Sakuya takes a double low dropkick from Sofia and Marie. Sakuya teases spitting mist at Zones then hits her and superkicks her. Zones takes a double boot. Zones hits lariats. Ellie lariats her and shoulders Rose over. Ellie kneeling germans Rose for 2. Marie dropkicks Sakuya. Zones double chops down Marie. Sofia suplexes Zones for 2 and barely gets her over. Rose does a final cut with a body press on Sofia.

Rose boots Sofia out of the corner and lariats her. Rose bangs Sofia's face off the mat. Rose trips her then double jump springboard legdrops her for 2. Sakuya knees and kicks Sofia. Sofia lariats Sakuya over twice then back elbows her. Sofia high kicsk her then michinoku drivers her for 2. Ellie crucifixes Sofia then is hit with a high kick. Sofia cartwheels and basement dropkicks her for 2.

Zones lariats Sofia over. Ellie basement dropkicks Sofia for 1. Marie lariats Zones. Rose bulldogs Marie. Ellie takes a double boot. Sakuya asai moonsaults Ellie for 2. Sakuya top rope moonsaults Ellie and wins.

Thoughts: Three ways are usually messy and when you throw in a bunch of green or lesser talented girls, it's gonna be ugly. There were a lot of things that didn't look good here and it looked like amateur hour for the most part. But it was nice to see some new wrestlers. Marie didn't really get to do much here but a dropkick, a lariat and some smaller stuff. 

Eight Man Magic Rumble Match - HAYATA vs. Jacob Crane vs. Galeno vs. Titus Alexander vs. Iker Navarro vs. Archie Cole vs. Nathan De Windt vs. Rich Port Ayala

Cole and Titus are the first two in. Titus side headlocks Cole to start. Titus shoulders him over. Cole armdrags him then is armdragged back. Titus dropkicks him down. Nathan De Windt is next in. Nat cartwheels on the top rope and facekicks Cole. Nat goes up and over then dropkicks him. Nat 2nd rope springboard twisting crossbodies Titus. 

Nat's throat is pulled over the top rope. Cole is sent into Nat in the corner and Titus forearms Cole down. Rich Port Ayala is next in. Ric facekicks Titus then throws Cole in the corner. Rich slams Nat then clubs him. Rich is hit with a triple dropkick.

Jacob Crane is next in. He has lost a bunch of weight and looks so much better. He suplexes Nat down then chest kicks Cole down. Crane hits a kick combo on Titus and drops him with a spin kick to the face. Iker Navarro is next in. He top rope crossbodies Cole and Crane. He enzugiri's Nat then hurricanrana's him.  Iker uranage's him and sentons him. 

Titus is hit with a samoan drop from Iker. Rich bangs Iker's head off the buckles. HAYATA is next in. He boots and clubs Titus then throws him hard into the corner. Crane forearms Hayata then shoulders him over. Crane jumps into an atomic drop then takes a running boot to the head from Haya.

Haya stomps and foot chokes Titus in the corner. Cole is double teamed in the corner. Galeno del Mal is next in. Gal hits lariats and shoulders on multiple people. Gale facekicks Cole. Crane facekicks and forearms Gal. Gal blocks a corkscrew kick and forearms him down. Crane high kicks him then Gal forearms him down. Gal sentons him and throws him out. Jacob Crane is eliminated.

Nat hits forearms on Cole in the corner. Rich and Gal get in each other's faces then trade forearms. Gal spinning forearms him and Rich facekicks him. Nat tries to throw Rich out then pumping knees him. Rich suplexes Nat over the top for the elimination. Nathan de Windt is eliminated.

Gal headbutts Rich. Rich back elbows him then Gal lariats Rich over the top. Rich Port Ayala is eliminated. Everyone gangs up on Galeno and throws him out. Galeno del Mal is eliminated.

Cole, Iker, Haya and Titus are left. They pair off and fight. Titus and Haya hit corner attacks. Titus hurricanrana's him. Titus takes a double superkick. Iker rebound lariats Cole. Haya sunset flips Iker and Titus double stomps Cole in the head. Titus lariats the other 3. He slams Haya, Cole and Iker. They then triple team him.

TItus takes corner attacks. Haya basement dropkicks him. Haya is thrown to the apron. Iker forearms Cole. Cole overhead suplexes him. Iker germans Cole. Cole then 2nd rope spanish flies him. Titus superkicks Iker and Haya dropkicks Titus. Haya slams Iker down then top rope moonsaults him. Haya throws Iker out. Iker Navarro is eliminated.

Haya and Titus trade forearms. Cole takes a double back elbow. Haya and Titus trade more. Haya enzugiri's Titus then lifting ddt's him. Cole springboard euros Haya. Haya is on the apron and Titus dropkicks him out. HAYATA is eliminated.

Cole rolls up Titus for 2 then la magistral's him. Cole hurricanrana's Titus for 2. Cole rolls into a ddt on Titus for 2. Cole crossfaces him. Cole is sent to the apron. He enzugiri's Titus. He then rolls in and is caught with a backbreaker. Titus double underhook backbreakers him for 2. 

Titus foot slaps Cole around. Titus forearms him down then Cole stunners him off a suplex attempt. Cole hits lariats on Titus. He legsweeps him then kicks him in the chest. Titus handsprings and is caught with a cutter. Cole top rope moonsaults him for 2.

Cole pumping knees Titus. Titus lifts him over his head and is caught with a canadian destroyer. Cole htis a lethal injection for 2. Cole misses a corkscrew off the top. Titus hits an odd fireman's carry neckbreakers. Cole la mistica drops him into a crossface. 

Cole superkicks him. Titus flying knees him. Titus brainbusters him for 2. Titus hits a chaos theory on Cole and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a battle royal with pins and submissions. We basically got various spots while there were a lot of people in and then it turned into a 1v1 match at the end. It went a bit long. Everyone to come in, hit some spots then the next person would come in and restart the process. The final 2 of Titus and Cole then did an indy style match which I didn't like. Cole's young and a junior face. I could maybe see him getting more work in the future. Ayala is a bigger Puerto Rican guy and I expect a bigger company to give him a shot. He's more of a standard heavyweight. Iker is kind of your average guy you'd find on the indies. De Windt didn't leave much of an impression on me. Crane listened to my advice - he lost weight and got better gear and now looks a whole lot better. This was average overall and the format was a bit tough to work with.

Kenoh, Masakatsu Funaki & Naomichi Marufuji vs. Daichi Hashimoto, Hikaru Sato & Masaaki Mochizuki

Ken and Saito trade shots. Ken front facelocks him then leglocks him. Ken ankle locks him and they get up. Maru and Daichi get in. They trade hammerlocks. Daichi wristlocks him. Maru trips him. 

Maru side headlocks him then chops him. Daichi chest kicks him and Maru chops back. Daichi drops him with chest kicks. Mochi comes in and leg kicks Maru. They pull each other's ears. They chop each other in the corner. Maru running back elbows him and takes a corner face kick. Mochi chest kicks him down.

Funaki gets in. He front facelocks Mochi and Mochi rope breaks. Mochi hits leg kicks and spin kicks him in the gut. Funaki armbars him and it is broken up. Ken stomps Mochi then spin kicks him in the gut. Mochi hits leg kicks on him.

Mochi facekicks Ken twice. Ken facekicks back and takes a knee to the face. Ken drops him with a high kick. Ken and Funaki hit running elbows on Mochi and pose. 

Ken misses an elbow drop. Sato and Maru go at it. They go to the mat and Sato leglocks him. Funaki gets in and armbars Sato. Daichi tags in. Funaki slaps him on the ropes and they trade slaps. Daichi dropkicks him. They grapple and Daichi is put in the corner. Ken facekicks Daichi. They trade chest kicks. Ken runs at him and is dropped with one. They german each other then facekick each other down. 

Sato and Maru go at it. Maru slaps him then hits kicks. Sato enzugiri's him then snapmares him. Maru blocks a PK and hook kicks him. Funaki comes in and chest kicks Sato for 2. Mochi gets a shot in on Funaki. Funaki then takes corner attacks. Funaki takes a double chest kick. Funaki fights off the triple team with bad slaps. He uraken's Mochi and high kicks Daichi down. Funaki PK's Sato then grounded chokes him. Sato is out and Funaki's team picks up the win.

Thoughts: It was mostly all kicks here and people taking each other to the mat without a ton of flow or teamwork involved. People would hit some kicks, go for a hold, the hold would get broken then the next pairing would get in. It got a little annoying. Funaki didn't look that great here and didn't quite have some of the striking power he used to. It was nice to see some different pairings though.

Izzy James vs. Kaito Kiyomiya

They shake hands and Izzy side headlocks him off of it. Izzy shoulders him over. KK flying crossbodies him. KK leapfrogs him then running forearms him. KK elbow drops him for 2. KK chinlocks Izzy. Izzy shoulders him over. Izzy armdrags and hiptosses him. KK hiptosses him back. KK knees him in the gut. Izzy hurricanrana's him for 2.

Izzy hits forearms on Ken. Izzy cartwheels off the ropes and dances. Izzy then 2nd rope springboard crossbodies him. Izzy rolls out of a wristlock then side headlocks him. KK tries pins off of it and armlocks him. KK rolls him with a kimura. 

KK hammerlocks him. Izzy rolls out and wristlocks him. KK rolls out of it and twists his foot. Izzy rope breaks. KK side headlocks him. Izzy corner spears him then misses a corner lariat. KK euros him. Izzy forearms him then Ken back elbows him down for 2. 

KK boots and euros him in the corner. KK euros him down. Izzy blocks shots and hits his own. Izzy corner spears him. Izzy corner spinning lariats him. Izzy backdrops him and sentons him for 2. KK blocks a corkscrew kick off the ropes. KK flying neckbreakers him. 

KK dropkicks Izzy. Izzy blocks a shining wizard. They trade forearms. Izzy legsweeps him then misses a curb stomp. KK blocks a lariat and hits a spinning lariat. Izzy double underhook twisting drops him for 2. Izzy top rope dropkicks him for 2. 

KK flying knees him then hits a shining wizard for 2. KK shoulderbreakers him. KK misses a top rope elbow drop. Izzy hits euros and chops. Izzy facekicks him, misses a corkscrew kick and is hit with a shining wizard. Kaito pins him.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time to play out. I don't quite love Izzy's corkscrew kick off the ropes spot but it wasn't that bad otherwise. Izzy did fine it was an acceptable main event. Kaito got the win here as expected. 

Kaito then talks on the mic briefly after to close the show.

Overall thoughts: These shows are all basically random and you never know who will show up. It makes it hard to build to but for hardcore fans, it's neat to see some new and obscure names that you'd have to watch different indies to see. The opener was alright. The second match wasn't anything too special but Chase Emery looked good. The women's match was ugly. The rumble was a little tied down by the format, went long and was average. The semi-main was all kicks and ground work and not much else. The main was okay and Izzi James didn't do bad vs Kaito. I wouldn't recommend this one but it was neat to see a bunch unknown wrestlers get a chance to shine and it was nice to see some new matchups. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 overall.
