WWE Evolve 12/3/2025

WWE Evolve 12/3/2025

There was no show last week. The show from 2 weeks ago is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/11/wwe-evolve-11192025.html

Robert Stone and Peter Rosenberg are on commentary.

Kendal Grey says being a champ is different than chasing it. She says she has people down her back and she says she's ready for it. She says she's focused on Chantel Monroe tonight. She says she knows she's tough and she won't let her guard down. She says she beat her on the road to winning her title and will beat her again tonight.

Arianna Grace vs Carlee Bright

They lock up and Car claps with the crowd chanting her name. AG backs her up in the corner and piefaces her three times. AG slaps her then Car slaps back. AG complains to the ref. Car dropkicks her. Car goes up and over her in the corner and dropkicks her.

Car flying back elbows her in the corner. Car misses a dropkick. AG stomps her in the gut then flying shoulders her out of the ring. They go out and Car's head is banged off the buckles.

AG yells at the fans to take her picture outside. Car rolls her up inside for 2. Car hits shots to the gut then AG knees her in the gut. Car's head is banged off the buckles then her face is rubbed on the ropes. Car dropkicks her.

AG hits forearms on her and hits a wasteland (they call it Graceland) and AG wins.

Thoughts: Grace winning was an upset here. Winning is not something she has done a lot of. She didn't botch anything here but it wasn't the world's prettiest match and was not that good. Carlee really hasn't gotten to do much in Evolve so far and I feel bad for her.

They talk about Yayne Harrison being the newest WWE ID signing. We also see Laynie Luck winning the Women's WWE ID champ. They said she got a WWE ID contract as well.

Nikkita Lyons talks to Layla Diggs and Masyn Holiday in the back. Diggs says no one embarrasses her friend like that. Lyons asks what's with all the hostility and says she positively beat Masyn senseless. Diggs says she won but she's not gonna let her stand over her friend and dance over them. Digg asks for a match with her. Lyons says she loves charity work so why not?

Marcus Mathers and Aaron Rourke vs Mike Cunningham and Cappuccino Jones

It's Gal is in the VIP Lounge watching this.

MM and Cap go at it. MM grabs his leg and Cap fireman's carry takeovers him. MM waistlock takedowns him. Cap side headlocks him. MM armdrags him and does a neat pin attempt. MM boots him away and they double kip up together.

MM side headlocks him then flying headscissors him. Cap headscissors him out of the corner and dropkicks him. Mike top rope double axe handles MM. Mike wristlocks MM. AR is tagged in. AR side headlocks Mike. They shoulder each other.

AR side headlocks him. AR flips over him. AR rolls over his back then Mike shoulders him over. Mike dropkicks him. Mike hits punches on AR. Mike boots him out of the corner. AR 619 leg sweeps him off the 2nd rope. Mike takes a backcracker into a 2nd rope senton from AR.

We go to break and return. Mike is gordbustered onto MM's knees. MM rolls Mike into a back kick and AR sentons Mike for 2. AR kicks Mike in the ribs then corner euros him. MM slams Mike for 2. MM chinlocks Mike.

MM sits up top and Mike dropkicks him down. AR does a reverse cloverleaf to Mike. Mike rolls him into the ropes. Mike enzugiri's AR. Cap and MM tag in. Cap running lariats MM. Cap punches him then corner splashes him. Cap hits him off the bottom rope then neckbreakers AR.

Cap michinoku drivers MM for 2. MM hook kicks Cap. Cap fights off a 2v1. Cap is caught off a springboard and flips out. Mike hits a top rope double dropkick. Mike falcon arrows AR for 2. AR headbutts Mike. MM 2nd rope diving stunners Mike then AR top rope molly-go-round's Mike. Cap drags Mike to his corner and tags himself in.

AR superkicks Cap. Cap hits a decaffinator on AR for 2. AR high kicks Cap then is punched. Cap suicide dives AR. Mike backrolls MM for 2. Mike rolls him and hits a hard punch. MM flips over Mike in the corner. Mike flying back elbows MM. Mike runs the ropes fast and is caught with a lariat from MM. Jax Presley and Harley Riggins then run in and hit both teams to cause the no contest.

Thoughts: It was a long bout with a lame ending. The ending made this one a waste of time. They did a little much here and selling was not a big priority in this. Aaron tries but he is a little awkward at times. Cap barely cleared the top rope on a suicide here but got lucky. I didn't really like this too much and thought it got a little too indy by the end of it.

Keanu Carver then comes down and knocks Cap into Aaron. Mike is pulled away from Riggins and Jax and Keanu short arm lariats him. It seems like Keanu, Harley and Jax are now a group. It's Gal claps in the VIP Lounge.

WWE Evolve Women's Title - Kendal Grey (c) vs Chantel Monroe

Karmen Petrovic is in the VIP Lounge. CM hides between the ropes to start. They lock up and go into the corner. They pieface each other. KG waistlock takedowns her multiple times. CM boots her in the corner. CM hits natural selection for 2.

KG's head is banged off the buckles. KG boots her in the corner. dropkicks her for 2. KG rolls her into a pin attempt for 2. CM forearms her KG goes over her in the corner. KG sweeps her and basement dropkicks her.

CM throws KG out then crossbodies her off the apron. KG kicks her from the apron. CM backdrops her on the apron edge. We go to break and return. KG boots CM out of the corner. KG euros her then backslides her for 2. CM does a TKO for 2.

CM slams her. CM goes up top and KG walks up the buckles and belly to belly suplexes her.  KG hits shots to the gut. KG running back elbows her a few times. KG trips CM. CM high kicks her from the apron. KG sitout powerbombs CM for 2. CM superkicks her then spinning codebreakers her. KG rolls out.

Wendy Choo comes out and pushes CM into the post. KG rolling armbars CM and CM tries a pin off of it. KG hits a gutwrench powerslam for 2. CM goes up top, knocks KG down and diving meteora's her for 2.

They hit chest forearms on each other. CM springboards into a superkick. KG hits a jumping flatliner and wins.

Thoughts: It was another longer match here. There wasn't a great story or anything but KG was okay as a face. It was weird for them to have Wendy Choo come down, interfere yet not cost Chantel the match. I didn't really like this that much overall but Chantel showed that she can do alright in a longer single's match.

Chuey Martinez talks to Tate Wilder and Sean Legacy. Chuey says they will fight in a #1 Contender's Match next week. Sean says this is a match the fans want to see again after he got screwed on NXT. Tate says he was close to winning but didn't. He says he might be new but he's picking up wins and gaining momentum. He says he thinks he's starting to be in the title picture. Sean reminds him that he was thinking of quitting a few months ago until he gave him advice.

Tate brings up the PC. Sean says he doesn't think he can trust anyone from it. Tate says that's the problem - Sean groups them together like they are the same. Tate says the PC talent is looking close to the ID talent. Sean says they can both agree they don't like The Vanity Project. Tate says he will put it all on the line next week and they shake hands. Someone then grabs Tate off screen and the show ends.

Thoughts: They've been slowly teasing a heel Sean Legacy and I think we are getting closer to it happening here.

Overall thoughts: It's a different show without Stevie Turner and The Vanity Project running things and they are still trying to figure things out. We had 3 matches here. None of them were that great. Grace/Carlee wasn't that good. The tag match got a bit indy and went on longer then it needed to. Then it had a run-in finish anyway. The girls got a lot of time for the main. No one botched or anything but there wasn't much of a story and I can't say I loved it. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was average overall.

  1. I'm surprised at this stage in their careers Kendall and Chantel have the ability to work a lengthy main event together. Who's training the women down there now these days?
