NWA Women's Tag Titles - Pretty Empowered (Kenzie and Kylie Paige) vs Tiffany Nieves and Gretta

Tiff found Gretta a few weeks ago. They said Valentina Rossi is wrestling in Japan and her and Tiff's tag titles are vacant.

Tiff poses on the ropes and is pulled down by Ken. Tiff stalls. Ken chops and foot stomps Tiff. Tiff then heads out to stall. Kylie throws her in and Ken rolls her up. Tiff takes kicks from her opponents and Kylie kneepresses Tiff's face into the mat for 2.

Tiff back elbows Kylie. Kylie hits high kicks on Tiff. Kylie flying headscissors Tiff and hip attacks her on the ropes for 2. Kylie foorearms Tiff down. Ken superkicks Tiff. Tiff takes a codebreaker into a backcracker into a senton. Gretta is tagged in. She's chokeslams Ken.

Kylie chairs Gretta from behind in front of the ref. They say the ref disqualified The Paige Sisters but they said the ref called it a no contest.

Thoughts: It was short and not that much of note before the finish. I didn't like the finish as The Paige Sisters openly cheated and got themselves DQ'd. Instead of losing the match and the titles by DQ, they declared it's a no contest, which seemingly leaves the titles vacant....defeating the whole purpose of stripping Rossi and Nieves of the titles.  Gretta is huge but doesn't seem like she moves well.

Gretta chokeslams Kylie after.

The Slimeballz are goofing around outside. Rant is kicking the wall upside down. Sage spits water at him. Sage complains about not being invited to Silas' title part and says they will throw their own slimy celebration.

Mike Mondo is walking around outside with his title. He talks about The Wall. He says he himself has 7,000 pounds of heart and steel. He says he's the giant killer and says he's sending The Wall back to Berlin.

The Holy Grail do a video. EC3 says NWA Exodus is more than a territory or promotion. He says the wrestlers found greatness amongst themselves and says people there become who they are supposed to be. PB Smooth says they lost at NWA 77. We see clips of that. PB says the loss was a lesson in "keeping it player". He says The Holy Grail is coming back for Aron Stevens.  

NWA National Title - Mike Mondo (c) vs The Wall

The Wall won a gauntlet a month ago to get this shot. Mike has Aron Stevens with him.

They go up to each other and lock up. Mike shoves him from behind and gets hyped up. He shoves Wall again. Wall throws him in the corner. Mike hits shots in two different corner. Wall no sells the shots. Wall side slams him for 2. Mike bends over and is thrown down. Mike is thrown hard into the corner and goes down.

Mike eye rakes him. Aron Stevens trips Wall with the ring skirt. Mike chop blocks Wall. Mike hits icks to Wall's leg. Mike germans Wall. Mike hits a top rope diving headbutt for 2. Mike bangs Wall's leg off the mat. He elbow drops the leg. 

Mike does a spinning toe hold and is pushed into the buckles. Wall blocks a crab. Wall his chops on Mike and forearms him down. Mike jawbreakers him. Mike hits a fireman's carry gutbuster and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that interesting. Mike worked the knee for a bit but then won with a gutbuster. I thought Mike bumped around a bit too much for Wall. I also thought Wall made Mike look really short here which isn't how you want Mike to look when he's so jacked.

Tiffany Nieves and Dr. Viktor the psychologist talk outside. Tiff says she's still the TVMA champ. She says there's nothing she loves more than a room with no mirrors. She says she gives Viktor all the credit for her keeping her title. Viktor says it's working. he says he has never had a client show so much dedication and put so much hard work in. He says it's a relationship of service and says he couldn't ask for anything better. He says this is just the beginning. Tiff says Viktor knows how to make a princess feel like a queen.

We get another Colby Corino video. He says he still feels numb. He says the doc's told him they couldn't clear anyone to wrestle with the injuries he has had. CC says he still likes being around. They say it's not over for him in wrestling. CC says he will heal and step in the ring again. He says we will see a different CC when he comes back. He says he will fulfill his destiny and win the NWA Title.

We go to the NWA Executive Boardroom with Markova, Silas, The Cazana's and their lawyer. Silas complains about having to fight JAC and asks why he's here instead of getting ready. Joe says Markova has a huge match with Max. He says he expects her to pull the ratings in. Markova says she always brings in the ratings. She says facing Max isn't a punishment. Joe says he wants her to do her match and wants ratings.

Joe tells Silas he wants him to do his best and needs the ratings out of him as well. Silas says he doesn't have to worry about that, he needs to worry about his boot going into JAC. Silas says Joe's crew can't protect him from the dark thing he has hiding. Silas says he was on the phone with Billy Corgan and says he knows he is coming back. He says something about Joe being a tyrant and says always goes the tyrant.

I think Alex Misery talks about the devil having a vision for him and telling him to rip out the eyeballs from a socket and rip the tongue out. 

Carson Drake, Lockjaw Drake and Aron Stevens talk in the back. Carson tries to teach Lockjaw his dance. Lockjaw moves his shoulders some. Carson asks if he's purposely not following instructions of just trying to p!ss him off.  

The Lost (Lev and Alex Misery) vs Slex and Duke Hanson

This is Duke Hanson's NWA debut. Lev pushes Slex from behind. Slex waistlock takedowns him. Slex la magistral's him and Alex tags in. Slex armdrags Alex twice. Alex headscissors him. Alex goes for a pin but Slex counters it. 

Alex's head is banged off the buckles then Alex bangs his own head off the buckles. Slex back elbows Alex. Duke boots Alex in the side. Alex flips off the top over him. Duke spinning side slams him for 2. Alex takes a double back elbow and a double elbow drop for 2. Lev knees Slex in the back then Alex dropkicks Slex for 2. 

Alex chinlocks Slex. Lev stomps Slex then hits curbstomps. Lev sliding lariats him for 2. Alex drops Lev onto Slex, making Alex leg drop him. Slex is snapmared then they miss the lifting legdrop move. Slex step up enzugiri's Alex. 

Duke comes in and hits forearms on his opponents. Duke running lariats Lex then swinging side slams Alex for 2. Slex springboard enzugiri's Alex then ropes Lev outside. Slex spinning torture rack bombs Alex. Lev stops a double team and Alex rolls up Duke and pins him.

Thoughts: This was fine but I don't love Duke losing in his debut. Alex didn't get to do much of his flying here. I thought Slex looked okay.

Silas Mason does a promo. He says Joe Cazana is a crooked confederate con artist. He says Joe brought in a bounty hunter to try and take him out. He says this isn't the same NWA or the same NWA champ. He says nobody is putting a target on his back. Silas says he's going on a hunt. He says when you face him, you are facing Silas Mason. 

The Cazana's and the lawyer talk in the boardroom. Joe asks about the inheritance situation. The lawyer says Natalia Markova is eliminated via a secret vote. Joe says he likes being the president and asks about his chances of staying in power. The lawyer says Corgan owns the company and has all the control but Joe has control right now. The lawyer says he expects Joe to get sued for a hundred million dollars. Joe says they can handle it. The lawyer says this process could take a few years. The lawyer says Corgan could let Joe stay in control and says he won't want to stop investing in his company as it will die. Joe says Corgan will have to do things by the book.

NWA World Title - Silas Mason (c) vs JAC

No entrance for JAC here. JAC hits Mason from behind to start. JAC backdrops him. JAC hits a corner splash then he exploders him. JAC hits chops and Mason no sells them. Mason lariats him over and hits some slaps. Mason back body drops him then corner splashes him three times. Mason hits a thrill ride and wins.

Thoughts: It was a short one. JAC had no shot of winning here and they did little to make him look like a threat. Silas is really looking lean here and is in the best shape I have ever seen him in.

Kyle Davis interviews Mason in the ring. He asks about whether it'll be Murdoch or Latimer facing him for the title. Masons says it could be either of them or God. He says no one can beat him. He says he's the biggest man who ever lived. He says he's the NWA champ and he'll get ya.

Overall thoughts: Things started out bad with a no contest in a match for the vacant tag titles. The Wall and Mike Mondo had an uninteresting match. We had an okay bout with The Lost winning against Slex and Duke Hanson. We then had a quick main with Silas beating JAC as expected. We had a lot of non-wrestling segments here as well but they all seem to be leading somewhere and had a purpose which was good. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was an average show with nothing you really need to see.
