Lightning Match - Pendulo vs. Carnifice

Pen's got an unusual shiny orange color on. They lock up and Carn goes for la suastica. Pen then puts him in la suastica and tries a pin off of it. Pen tries a pin attempt then rolls him around the ring under the arms. Carn hooks him under the legs and pulls him up. Pen sunset flips him for 2. Pen misses a dropkick and Carn kicks him in the chest.

Carn throw shim by the arm but Pen cartwheels out. Pen dropkicks him in the knee. Pen springboard bodyscissors him into an armdrag. Pen pulls Carn over the top. Pen top rope corkscrew moonsaults Carn outside.

Pen slingshot boots him and sends him chest first into the buckles. Carn forearms him over then top rope moonsaults him outside. Carn corner splashes him inside then basement dropkicks him in the back of the head. Carn 619's him. Carn pop-up drops him and chops him down.

Pen armdrags him off a pop-up. Pen walks up the buckles and blind diving armdrags him. Pen top rope springboard twisting crossbodies him. Pen then 2nd rope dropkicks him. Pen then step up springboard tope con hilos him outside. Pen goes for an octopus but Carn blocks it. Carn trips him into the buckles. Carn misses a top rope dropkick. Pen springboard tornillo splashes him and wins.

Thoughts: Pendulo can do cool stuff but making it fit in the context of a match isn't quite something he has learned yet. It went a little longer than it needed to and was mostly just a showcase for Pendulo. 

India Sioux & Lluvia vs. Olympia & Zeuxis

L = Lluvia (in white), Z = Zeuxis (in red)

1st Fall - Z and L go at it. Z trips her and bow and arrows her. L  trips her then Z pulls on L's hair. L trips Z, ties her legs up and pulls on Z's hair. Z armdrags her into a chinlock. L ties the leg up and has her hair pulled. Z kicks her in the back. L flying headscissors her.

Olym gets in. She corner lariats L. L 2nd rope diving headscissors her. India comes in. Olym tiger feints into a backroll on her. India tilt-a-whirl armdrags her. India casadora armdrags Z then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers her. India misses a corner charge and is sapped. L's head is banged off the buckles by Olym. India is tripped into a kick then dropkicks Z out. India tope con hilos her opponents outside. Olym then plancha's Z outside.

Olym and Z are sent into the corners and they take stereo la silla's. India and L score stereo pins Lluvia's team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - L casadora bulldogs Olym for 2. L sunset flips Olym and holds her for a kick from Z (on accident of course). L bangs Z's head off the buckles thne dropkicks her out. India trips Olym then rolls around her back for an armdrag. India is kicked on the ropes by Z. Z corner euros India then Olym handstand pendulum la silla's India in the corner. 

Olym takes a corner lariat then a head kick from India. India takes a wasteland then a senton from Z. Z corner meteora's L. Olym gorilla press drops India onto L. Olym and Z then pin their opponents. Olympia's team wins the fall and ties this 1-1.

3rd Fall - L and India are sent into the rails. India is popped up into a headscissors on Z. Z is pushed into Olym. India headscissors Z out. India hurricanrana's Z out form the electric chair. L apron plancha's Z. India's apron plancha is caught by Olym. L and India's backs are rammed together outside.

Olym springboard plancha's her opponents outside. Z then topes her opponents outside and drills L pretty hard. Z dropkicks L in the knee then meteora's her. India pop-up sitout powerbombs Z. Olym swinging side slams India then L backcrackers Olym. India takes a double underhook codebreaker. L takes doi fives. L and India are pinned together. Olympia's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was a decent showing for the girls here. India was moving as well as I've ever seen her move and if you told me someone else was under the mask, I'd believe you. Zeuxis hit a nice tope here and Olympia did her usual lifting spots. I had no issues with this and it was better than expected. 

Capitan Suicida vs. Yutani

Cap runs the ramp and jumps over the top to flying headscissors Yut. Cap dropkicks Yut out then tope con hilos him. Cap misses a top rope plancha and goes into the rails. Yut dropkicks Cap in the knee. Yut splashes Cap's leg then flipping legdrops it. 

Yut tries to untie Cap's mask but gives up on it. Yut chops Cap and enzugiri's him from the apron. Cap tries to flying headscissors him off the apron but he is powerbombed onto the apron. Cap corkscrew hurricanrana's Yut off the apron. Yut bridging ddt's him on the floor.

Yut has Cap on the 2nd rope and dragon screws him. Yut 2nd rope outside to inside moonsaults him for 2. Yut facekicks him down. Yut tries another legdrop on the leg but is upkicked. Cap flying headscissors him. Cap knees him in the gut and low single leg basement dropkicks him. Cap topes him hard and nearly lands on his head outside. 

Capt standing moonsaults him inside for 2. Cap delay germans him for 2. Cap jumps backwards and rolls him up for 2. Cap's la magistral is blocked and Yut does his own for 2. Cap is popped up, he hurricanrana's Yut but Yut rolls him up off of it. Yut springbord dropkicks him out.

Yut tope con hilos him outside. Yut gets a 2 count on him inside. Cap spin kicks him in the gut and wasteland's him. Yut rolls out and Cap rope walk flip dives him outside. Cap then poses on the rails for the crowd.

Cap goes up top when Yut is inside and inverted 450's him for 2. Yut is sat up top and hit with a step up enzugiri. Yut blocks a 2nd rope headscissors and does a 2nd rope styles clash off of it for 2. Yut misses a top rope 180 splash. Cap la rosa ddt's him. Cap top rope corkscrew moonsaults him and wins.

Thoughts: Yut had a bunch of problems catching Cap's headscissors early on. It turned into more of a spotfest later with delays between the big spots. It had a couple of nice highlights but really wasn't the best match they could have had. I thought this disappointed a bit.

The two cowboys or country people come out. They say hi and leave.

El Cobarde, Guerrero Maya Jr. & Magnus vs. Los Dragones (Dragon de Fuego, Dragon Legendario & Dragon Rojo Jr.)

DF = Dragon de Fuego (long tights), DL = Dragon Legendario (short trunks)

1st Fall - DF and Mag go at it. They trade some basic holds. DF headflips out of a wristlock and armdrags him, then armdrags him off the casaodra. DF spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat then flying headscissors him out. DF goes after him and flying headscissors him on the floor.

Cob and DL get in. They trade wastilocks. DL flying snapmares him. DL flips out of a snapmare and Cob does a neat takedown into a pin attempt. DL and Cob trade pin attempts. Cob standing moonsaults him for 2. DL backrolls into a standing moonsault on him. Cob headflips up and they stand off. 

Maya and Rojo get in. They shove each other. Maya shoulders him over and they trade chops. Maya and then his partners stomp on Rojo. Rojo flying shoulders him over. Maya chops Rojo in the corner. Rojo chops back. Rojo is double teamed in the corner. 

Rojo corner lariats Maya then corner dropkicks him low. Rojo plancha's him outside. DL tilt-a-whirl's on Cob into a grounds octopus variation and submits him. DF top rope crossbodies Mag then spinning headscissors him into a christo. Mag taps out. Dragon Rojo's team wins the fall. 

2nd Fall - Maya's team begs off on the ramp. Mag and DF go at it. DF flips off his shoulders but falls on the landing. DF chops him down then buckshots over the top into a headscissors on him. DF springboard topes Cob. DF spinning headscissors Cob out. DL spin kicks Maya. DL springboard armdrags Maya out. DL spinning forearms Cob. DL double jump corkscrew sitout moonsault armdrags Cob out. DL top rope tornillo diving armdrags Mag out.

Mag comes back in. DL superkicks him. Rojo top rope crossbodies Mag. Rojo sitout hiptoss bombs Mag. Cob sunset flips Rojo, Rojo backrolls and basement dropkicks him. Maya chops Rojo on the ramp. Rojo flips back in and spinebsuters him. Rojo double stomps him. Rojo top rope diving armdrags Maya out.

DF 2nd rope springboards and Cob dropkicks him in mid-air. Cob's team then stomps on the faces. Maya rips up DF's mask then chops him down. Cob and Mag hit stereo lariats. Maya hits tilt-a-whirl backbreakers on DL and DF. DL and DF are dropkicked out then Cob tope con hilos one of them while Maya topes the other.

Mag corner euros Rojo then corner meteora's him to pin him. Magnus' team wins the fall. 

3rd Fall - Maya roughs up Rojo outside and bangs his head off the rail top. Cob clubs DF outside. DL is ganged up on inside and he takes running corner attacks. Mag powerslams DL. DL is held for a codebreaker. Rojo is double teamed. Cob and Maya lariat Mag on accident then get double japanese armdragged. 

DF and DL 2nd rope outside to inside step up armdrag Cob and Maya out. Rojo is supposed to be monkey flipped into a tope con hilo but he undershoots and splats on the floor (Mag was also nowhere near). Rojo is triple stomped on the floor. DF asai moonsaults out. DL top rope ssp's out. Inside, DF and DL hit top rope moonsaults on Mag and Maya and pin them. Dragon Rojo's team wins the fall and match. 

Rojo is still down outside and being looked at. He gets stretchered out

Thoughts: Legendario did some great flying here. Los Dragones are a fun team though Rojo can't really keep up with his partners as well. Maya got a bit scrappy here. I liked this. It was an entertaining, fast paced match with a lot of flying.

They give a fan a title belt for being the one millionth fan this year at Arena Mexico. .

Averno, Barbaro Cavernario & Volador Jr. vs. Neon, Templario & Titan

1st Fall - Vol has pants on, a shirt and his mask that he later takes off. Neon and Barb go at it. They do a double knuckle lock. Barb flips him over his back. Neon monkey flips him. Titan springboard crossbodies Barb then flying headscissors Av. Titan spinning reverse headscissors Barb from the mat. Temp rope walk diving armdrags Barb. Temp's team slides out and they all get sent into the rails. Neon is double stomped on inside. Neon is popped up into a top rope Barb dropkick. Neon is pinned. Averno's team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Barb chops Temp in the corner. Temp takes corner attacks then he takes a giant swing into a dropkick. Titan is popped up into a kick from Vol then thrown out. Neon takes running corner attacks and a Vol superkick. Barb 2nd rope springboard splashes Neon for 2. Titan is crotched on the rail top outside by Av. Barb ties Temp up in the ropes and bites him.

Neon ducks a triple team. Titan and Temp hit stereo springboard dropkicks. They then do stereo topes. Neon rolls up Barb into a crucifix and pins him. Neon's team wins the fall. 

3rd Fall - Neon and Barb trade chops outside. Neon flying headscissors him on the floor. Vol's 2nd rope crossbody is caught by Temp and Temp hits something like a GTs. Barb slaps Temp. Temp boots him out of the corner and Barb does the worm on the sell. Temp powerslams Barb then asai moonsaults him. Temp walks up the ropes and crossbodies Av. He then flying headscissors him out. 

Titan baseball slides Vol in the knee and double stomps his back. Titan tornado ddt's Barb off of Av. Titan flying back kicks Vol then flying kicks Av. Titan walks up the buckles, does rope tricks and diving headscissors Barb out. Titan poses and Vol boots him.

Vol offers Neon a handshake. Neon cartwheels over him then flips over him. Neon spinning headscissors him. Neon spin kicks Barb in the gut, springboards and moonsault diving armdrags him. neon springboard twisting armdrags Av. Neon is then punched down on the ramp. Vol superkicks Temp then is dropkicked by TItan. Barb misses a corner spear and goes into the post. Titan is popped up into a dropkick on Vol. Titan spin kicks Vol. Neon goes for his double springboard monnsault but slips and falls to the mat on a camera man. Temp flying space tigers from the ramp into the ring and pins Vol. Titan maybe top rope double stomps Av and pins him. Neon's team wins the fall and the match.

Thoughts: It was fine but nothing too crazy or wild. The faces got most of their dives in at the end. Neon missed his big dive and had to be stretchered out.

The heels attack Temp and Titan after. Av wants to attack Neon but the ref stops him. Av unties Temp's mask and Barb poses on the buckles. 

Difunto & Soberano Jr. vs. El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada & Mistico)

1st Fall - Dif came out with a giant scythe. Dif and MD go at it. MD hammerlocks him and Dif side headlocks him. Dif wristlocks him. MD flips out using the roes. Dif armdrags him. They wristlock each other and Dif chops him down. MD corkscrew flips over him then flying headscissors him. Sob comes in and step up enzugiri's MD. Mist springboard crossbodies Sob.

Mist hits armdrags on Sob. Mist tilt-a-whirl armdrags Sob. Mist superkicks Dif then Sob spinebusters Mist. Sob holds Mist for a top rope dropkick to the butt from Dif. Sob throws MD into the rails outside. The heels then stomp on Mist.

Mist is popped up into a kick from Dif. Dif kicks MD in the butt. Sob bangs MD's head off the buckles. Sob corner lariats MD. Dif rope walk dropkicks MD in the corner. Dif pins MD. Sob enzugiri's Mist from the apron then top rope diving tornillo's him. Sob pins Mist. Difunto's team wins the fall.

Sob backbreakers KeMontio for a legdrop from KeMonito.

2nd Fall - Sob tries to pull off Mist's mask. Sob step up enzugiri's him off the top. Sob chokes Mist on the bottom rope and KeMalito legdrops him. MD takes a spinebuster then is put in Dif's rocking chair. Sob legdrops MD to break the hold.

Sob pulls MD up on the pin attempt. Sob kicks MD in the leg. The heels stomp on Mist together. Mist pushes Sob into Dif. Mist silly strings off of MD into a headscissors on Sob. MD top rope tornillo diving armdrags Dif out. MD and Mist hit stereo topes. Mist and MD hit stereo step up enzugiri's. MD top rope 450's Dif and Mist springboard swantons Sob. They pick up stereo pins. Mistico's team wins the fall.

Mist chases KeMalito up the ramp and throws him in. KeMonito ducks his punches, dropkicks him and 619's him. KeMonito 2nd rope butt drops him.

3rd Fall - Dif and MD compete for cheers. MD walks up the buckles, does seated flips off the ropes and armdrags Dif. MD flips and does an armdrag + headscissors takeover on Sob and Dif. MD jumps off of Sob to headscissors Dif down. MD corkscrew headscissors MD out. MD then poses with KeMonito in the ring.

Mist is double stomped on by the heels. Mist handsprings off the ropes and flying headscissors Sob off of Dif. Mist walks up the buckles and diving headscissors Dif. Mist is on Sob's shoulders and swinging headscissors him out. MD tornillo's Dif over the top. Mist walks up the buckles and plancha's Sob outside. KeMonito then flying headscissors KeMalito. KeMonito then topes KeMalito and Sob.

Mist gets a 2 count on Sob. Mist hits forearms on Sob and boots him out of the corner. Sob and Mist get on the ropes and Mist flying headscissors him down. MD top rope 450's Sob. Mist pop-up powerbombs Dif and they get stereo nearfalls. Sob boots Mist over. MD top rope diving armdrags Sob then slams him down. MD misses a top rope ssp. Sob pop-up powerbombs MD and pins him.

Mist springboard diving headscissors Sob. Mist springboard twisting crossbodies Dif. Mist goes up and over Dif and is dropkicked. Mist top rope spanish fly's Dif and pins him. Mist 2nd rope springboard twisting crossbodies Sob. Mist goes for a spinning headscissors on Sob but Sob square drivers him (sitout tombstone) and pins him. Difunto's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It went a little longer than it needed to. The work was fine with Mist and MD doing their usual flying. Sob didn't do all that much here and his team lost as expected. We also got two rounds on the mini's going at it here.

MD is stretchered out.

Sob says he wants to face Mist for his world light heavyweight title. Sob says it's a magical night for him. He says he knows he's scared. Mist says he will accept the title challenge for next week. Mist offers a handshake and Sob pulls his hand away.

Overall thoughts: Los Dragones' match was the best thing on here. The main and semi-main were acceptable and fine, just nothing too great. Suicida/Yutani disappointed but the women did fine. The opener went too long. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as it was okay but nothing I would really recommend going to check out.
