WWE Monday Night Raw 12/8/2025

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

Gunther comes out. The crowd chants, "We want Cena" at him. Gunther says not to get your hopes up and says he's not coming tonight. Gun says this is his time right now. Gun says he will be the last opponent of Cena's. He says Cena is the greatest sports entertainer of all time but Gun says he's the best professional wrestler of all time. 

Gun says beating Cena isn't enough for him. He says he will break Cena's spirit, push him around and drop him on his head. He says he will squeeze with everything he has until the last bit of hustle, loyalty and respect has left his body. He says he will force Cena to give up.

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

Iyo Sky vs Kairi Sane

Oba Femi is in the front row.

The girls lock up and Sane ducks between the ropes for cover. Sane wristlocks her and boots Iyo out of the corner. Sane headscissors her but Iyo handsprings out. Sane sunset flips her for 2 and Iyo tries a pin. Iyo crucifixes her. 

Sane misses a top rope move and mocks her taunt. Sane headscissors her while holding the ropes. Iyo cartwheels and backflips off the ropes. Iyo basement dropkicks her. Asuka distracts Iyo and pulls her out of the ring. Rhea Ripley goes after Asuka and Asuka backs off. Sane flying forearms Iyo off the apron.

We go to break and return. Sane goes for a sliding move in the corner and is booted. Iyo shotei's her then flapjacks her. Iyo kicks her over the 2nd rope. Iyo springboard dropkicks her. Iyo corner meteora's her for 2. 

Iyo is in tree of woe and is booted. Sane top rope double stomps her for 2. Iyo buzzsaw kicks her. Sane avoids an angel's wings and sliding D's her. Iyo flips out of a back body drop on the apron. Iyo germans her on the apron. Iyo asai moonsaults her outside. 

Iyo high kicks her from the apron. Iyo goes up top and Asuka sweeps her, putting her in tree of woe. Rhea superkicks Asuka outside then sends her into the rails. Sane is up top and Iyo headscissors her down from the tree of woe position. Iyo top rope moonsaults her for the win.

Thoughts: I liked the finish here. The match wasn't bad but it obviously wasn't their best. There was a fair bit of shenanigans here. 

Heyman, The Bron's and Logan Paul talk in the back. Logan asks if anyone saw Rey Mysterio slap him in the face last week. Logan says he didn't like it and something has to be done about it. Bron says he will handle it. Logan says the situation with Rey is getting handled tonight. Heyman says Logan has back-up for the first time in his life. Logan says if The Bron's get in trouble, he's their back-up too. Heyman says he didn't think he could respect him anymore than he does now. He then gives him brass knucks and says, "just in case". Logan leaves and Heyman says, "I like this gut, I really do, I like him".

Rey Mysterio walks to the ring and we see The New Day and Grayson Waller argue with Adam Pearce.

We get a War Raiders video. They are outside near a campfire. They say they rise time and time again and are stronger than ever. They say they shed their armor and head into the future without fear. They say your time to run and hide has ended.

Rey Mysterio comes out for his match and is hit from behind by Logan. Logan sends him into the rails hard. Logan stomps Rey and hits mounted forearms. Rey blocks a brass knucks shot and hits his own punches. Logan drops him with a shot. Logan is dropkicked into the middle rope. The masked man from Survivor Series then superkicks and curb stomps Rey. The masked man then leaves as security chase him. Logan then punches Rey with the brass knucks.

LA Knight comes out and chases Logan out. LA says he will stomp Logan's head in. He says just when he thought The Vision couldn't suck more, Logan showed up. He says he's p!ssed off and says it's time for Logan to pay. He says he wants to make him pay right here in KC.

Je'Von Evans is in the front row. They announce Evans and Leon Slater vs AJ and Dragon Lee on SNME this week. What a run it has been for Leon. He went from a nobody to SNME in under 2 years.

World Tag Titles - AJ Styles and Dragon Lee (c) vs The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik)

The New Day and Waller come out to watch. AJ sends Erik in the corner and flying forearms him. Lee swinging basement dropkicks Erik in the corner then low dropkicks him there. Erik is hit with a double back elbow. Erik forearms AJ then he is pulled over the top. Ivar goes out. Erik and Ivar catch Lee off the apron and throw him into AJ, who goes for a tope. Erik then jumps onto Lee and Ivar crossbodies AJ on the LED ring skirt.

We go to break and return. Ivar boots AJ in the face then knees him in the gut. Erik knees AJ in the face. AJ pele kicks Ivar. Lee comes in and flying headscissors Erik. He then lariats him over the top. Lee hits combinacion cabron on Ivar. Erik is in tree of woe and is double stomped off the top. 

Lee flying back elbows Ivar for 2. 

Ivar butt drops Lee in the corner. Lee botches a double hurricanrana. Lee tries to hurricanrana Erik off the apron but is blocked. Lee superkicks him then is popped up onto Ivar (who stands on the floor) and is hit with a powerslam on the floor. Ivar top rope moonsaults Lee for 2.

AJ and Erik trade forearms. AJ hits a strike combo then pele kicks Erik. Erik knees him in the face for 2. Erik pops up AJ to the top for a hurricanrana to Ivar into Erik. Lee tope con hilos Ivar. AJ springboard forearms Ivar and wins.

Thoughts: It was a bit sloppy but they did a lot of flying here and definitely stepped it up a notch from their usual efforts. It's just a shame some of the spots didn't fully hit. I thought the pop-up powerslam on the outside was nuts. I don't like The War Raiders getting a video before this then losing. 

The New Day and Waller get in the ring and stare down AJ and Lee after. The Uso's then come out through the crowd.

Jey says The Uso's are now in your city. Jimmy says they are back in the tag team division. Jimmy says they've been getting hit hard and taking L's and talks about their losses. Jimmy says he asked him, "What we doin' Uce?". Jey says they will get back to them, body them all and put the tag division on notice. Jimmy says they need gold. Jey says The New Day know about them and compare their feud to Rock vs Austin. Jey says they will run through then like they always do. They then go to talk to AJ and Lee. The New Day grab them and The Uso's hit them. Waller then exits before he gets hit. They then stare down with Lee and AJ.

Thoughts: This was great news. I'm very over Jey as a singles wrestler after some of his lazy performances.

Jackie Redmond is in the ring and brings out Stephvanie Vaquer. She is asked who's next. SV says she wants to face everyone. She says she doesn't talk too much and is the best. She says it's not because of the devil's kiss. She says Nikki Bella is a legend. She says Natalya, Iyo, Rhea and Bayley are in the locker room but she's at the top. 

Nikki Bella comes out. She says her and SV are not done. She says she demands a rematch. Raquel Rodriguez then pulls Nikki off the apron and lawn darts her into the post. Raquel tells SV to name the time and place as she will be there to kick her @ss and take her title.

The Judgment Day talk in the back. Finn is happy that Rey got taken out ahead of his match with him. Dom says he doesn't know who the masked man is but he likes him. Liv asks Raquel what taking out Nikki Bella was about and says she is surprised she didn't say anything. Raquel says she didn't know she needed to run it by her. iv says she's happy if she becomes women's champ. Liv says she will be in Roxanne's corner tonight. She says they are the next women's tag champs with Raquel going for a singles title.

Lyra Valkyria vs Roxanne Perez

RP rolls out of a lock up. Lyra backs her up in the corner and does a suplex for 2. Lyra cranks RP's arms back with her legs for 2. RP ducks a high kick then slaps her. Lyra leg sweeps her, basement dropkicks her and northern lights suplexes her for 2.

They go outside and Lyra is sent into the steps shoulder first. Lyra's shoulder is then pulled into it. RP stands on the arm. We go to break and return. RP does an armbar on Lyra. Lyra stomps her to escape.

Lyra crossbodies her for 2. Lyra crucifixes her for 2. Lyra sitout powerbombs her. Lyra hits lariats on RP then kicks. Lyra step up enzugiri's her. Lyra dropkicks her through the ropes. Lyra top rope crossbodies her for 2.

RP pulls Lyra's arm over the top rope. RP la mistica facebusters her then cartwheel double knee drops her for 2. RP armbars her. Lyra blocks a spin kick and germans RP. Liv Morgan gets on the apron. Bay trips her. RP dropkicks Bay through the ropes. Lyra cradles her for 2. Lyra backrolls RP and is kicked when she goes into the ropes. RP his a code red on Lyra and pins her.

Thoughts: RP mostly worked the arm here but then won with a code red instead of something with the arm. It don't know if it was the best they could have done as RP didn't fly much but what we got was alright.

We get another video of Natalya training Maxxine Dupri. Max taps out a lot of girls in the ring with an ankle lock and asks for another one. Nat tells her to try it on her. Max then taps out Natalya with an ankle lock and tells her again.

LA Knight vs Logan Paul

Logan hits LA before the bell and hits knees to the gut. Logan hits punches in the corner. LA running lariats him. Logan's head is banged off the buckles and LA suplexes him in for 2. LA atomic drops him and lariats him. LA flying lariats him off the apron outside. LA clears off the commentary table and gets hit. 

Logan rams LA into the apron edge. Logan's head is banged off the commentary table. LA slingshot shoulderblocks him for 2. Logan boots LA out of the corner and lariats him. Logan hits a zigzag for 2. We go to break and return.

LA hits punches on Logan. LA is dropped throat first on the ropes and Logan alley oop's him for 2. Logan hits forearms. LA punches him then flying lariats him. LA russian legsweeps him. LA jumping neckbreakers him for 2. 

LA stomps him in the corner and foot chokes him. LA running knees him in the corner. They get on the buckles. Reed and Breakker come out. Logan 2nd rope crossbodies LA for 2. LA reverse ddt's him. LA double jump elbow drops him off the top. Reed headbutts LA.

LA dropkicks Logan through the ropes. LA punches Logan on the commentary table. The masked man then curb stomps LA into the commentary table. Logan top rope frogsplashes LA and wins.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. I was surprised to see the masked man come out again. LA lost as usual here, though at least it wasn't clean.Bron stomps LA after then spears him. Reed top rope splashes LA twice. Officials roll LA out of the ring. 

We go to break and return. The Vision and Logan Paul are in the ring. LA is walked to the back. Heyman says he doesn't understand what the fans are booing for. Heyman says we will have a new heavyweight champ of the world on January 5th and it's Bron Breakker.

Bron asks where CM Punk is. He says he doesn't buy this new nice guy Punk. Bron calls him a fraud. He says Punk said he never drank or did drugs but looks like the biggest crackhead anyone has seen. He says he doesn't want to face the new nice guy Punk. He says he wants the old Punk that beat The Rock and had a 434 day title reign. He begs him to give him the old CM Punk as he wants the greatest superstar to lace on the boots. He says he will destroy him if he doesn't get that Punk and "bron break him". He says he will take his title and wife too. 

LA Knight is in the back and says he's not done yet. He struggles to get up. Logan and Reed head to the back. Bron says it'll be spear 1-2-3. Logan sends LA into boxes and Reed punches LA. LA is powerbombed onto a table. Reed says they run WWE. LA is dropped onto a car hood and then Logan beats up security. 

LA is put on top of a car. Reed climbs boxes and splashes him on the car top. Adam Pearce calls for medics.

Thoughts: That was a different ending than usual with Bron saying raunchy stuff and LA getting the crap kicked out of him.

Overall thoughts: We had a decent night in the ring and a lot of people getting taken out with Rey, Nikki Bella and LA all getting ambushed. We also basically saw Jey Uso get demoted back to a tag wrestler and saw more of the mysterious masked man from Survivor Series. We also saw Bron Breakker get a little wild with a different kind of promo. There's going to be to follow up on after this one next week and I'm curious as to what we get, so this episode was a success. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 and thought it was a good show.
