WWE Monday Night Raw 12/1/2025

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/1/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/11/wwe-monday-night-raw-11242025.html

We are in Glendale, Arizona.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are our commentators and are in the crowd. They hype up the show and talk about Survivor Series.

We see various wrestlers arrive. Dom Mysterio arrives with Liv Morgan in a low rider.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky come out. Rhea says, "Welcome to Monday Night Rheyo". She says their bodies are banged up but they won the war. She says they came out victorious at Wargames bu the fight isn't over. She says they want revenge on The Kabuki Warriors for beating up Iyo. She says it starts by taking the tag title off of them. Iyo asks if Asuka is ready for them. Rhea tells them to come out.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss come out. Bliss says they need to pump the breaks when it comes to the tag titles. Flair says they know what it's like to stand up for your best friend but they are former tag champs and they didn't get a rematch. Rhea says she knew they would butt heads but didn't realize it would be 48 hours later. Rhea says they couldn't beat The Kabuki Warriors so it's time to get to the back of the line. Flair says she doesn't step aside for anyone. She says to prove it if they think they are better and Bliss makes the official challenge. Iyo agrees.

Adam Pearce is on the phone in the back with Nick Aldis. He says the women's tag match is official. Ivy Niles comes up to Adam. She says Adam knows she deserves an IC Title shot as she never beat her. Adam says give him time to finalize details and she will have the first crack but says she is training with Natalya. Ivy says it won't matter who she trains with.

Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker come up to Adam Pearce. Adam says they have nothing to talk about unless they say who was under the mask last night. Paul says he's not guilty of that and says he has no idea who was under the mask. Paul says Bron pinned the world champ Punk last night and says they have a lot to talk about.

The Last Time Is Now Tournament Semifinals - Jey Uso vs LA Knight

Jey misses a spear and LA goes for a BFT. They lock up. Jey punches LA in the corner. Jey goes up and over. LA hits boots to the gut and stomps him. LA misses a corner charge. Jey spinning enzugiri's him in the corner. Jey misses a corner hip attack.

LA hits punches. Jey hits punches. LA is pulled over the top. Jey topes him. We go to break and return. They fighting on the 2nd rope. They both then fall down to the floor. Jey enzugiri's LA on the buckles. Jey misses a move off the top and is hit with a burning hammer for 2. Jey hits a big spear for 2. LA superplexes him. Jey counters a BFT with a roll up and superkicks him. Jey spears him. Jey hits a top rope splash for 2. LA then tries a pin and pins him.

Thoughts: LA winning was a nice surprise and much needed with all the losses he has taken lately. It was mostly all moves and action here and not a ton of logic or story. I didn't like the burning hammer not meaning much in this. I thought it was a little above average.

Jey gets mad knocks the Prime Hydration Station over. He then knocks the steps over.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria talk to Adam Pearce. Bay wants into the tag title picture. Adam asks if Bay is in the right headspace. Lyra says most of the time they are good. Adam says he will have a clearer picture of the tag division after tonight's match with Flair/Bliss vs Rhea/Iyo. The Kabuki Warriors come in. Asuka blames Lyra for their Wargames loss since she didn't join them. Bay says they lost on their own and says Asuka is a bigger idiot. Asuka says she's a champ and asks what Bay is. She says Bay is nothing. Asuka says Charlotte Flair is in the main tonight and not Bay. Sane then puts a chain around Bay's neck and says it's for her instead of the title.

The Judgment Day come out minus Liv. Dominik Mysterio says John Cena is the greatest of all time but he just beat the greatest of all time. He says he's the greatest Mysterio of all time and the greatest luchador of all time. He says he's the king of the luchadores and the greatest IC champ of all time. He says he couldn't have done it without The Judgment Day. He then brings out Liv Morgan.

Liv Morgan comes out. She says she's back. She says nobody saw her coming including John Cena. Dom says they knew Cena would know their plan so they decided to play the ace up their sleeve. Liv says she missed all of them. She says she head people say The Judgment Day is weak while she is gone, lost some of it's gold and is falling apart. She says that changes now that she is back. She says she's back and Judgment Day is back. She says Judgment Day officially runs Monday Night Raw. She then slaps Dom and kisses him.

We see video of someone training in the ring. Natalya is training Maxxine Dupri. Max is putting ankle locks on people and Nat tells her to try it on her. They wrestle more and really dramatize it like a movie fight.

Adam Pearce talks to a ref. He says he doesn't know what is going on with the masked man and Paul Heyman. He says somebody knows something and asks him to ask the locker room about it.

World Tag Titles - AJ Styles and Dragon Lee (c) vs The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods)

The heels attack and double team AJ to start. AJ takes shots to the gut and takes double shots in the corner. Kofi top rope double stomps AJ. Kofi monkey flips AJ for 2. Kofi misses a corner charge. Lee slingshot swinging dropkicks him in the corner.

Lee flying headscissors Kofi out. Lee jumps over the top and headscissors Woods onto Waller and Kofi outside. We go to break and return.  AJ and Woods get in. AJ hits a strike combo, a big lariat and a sliding forearm. AJ corner lariats Woods. AJ is held in the air for a legdrop on the neck from Kofi. AJ blocks Kofi's boom legdrop and calf-crushers him. Woods breaks it up. Woods throws Lee out.

AJ headscissors Kofi down. Kofi is lifted into a sitout powerbomb from Lee for 2. Kofi spin kicks him in the gut. Woods comes in and hits shots on Lee. Lee boots Woods out of the corner. Woods rolls out of a sunset flip. Woods puts Lee in the tree of woe then topes AJ. Kofi corner dropkicks Lee in tree of woe for 2.

Lee running lariats Kofi. Woods is laid on the top rope. Lee double stomps him off the top into a styles clash. AJ then pins Kofi.

Thoughts:
It was another shorter but okay match here. We did get some flying and it was entertaining but it was really only half of what we should have gotten. The double stomp into the powerbomb/styles clash was a move that was done by someone on social media earlier in the year and has now caught on in AEW and now WWE.

Stephanie Vaquer is interviewed by Jackie Redmond. She says she showed everyone that when you betray her, you get burned. She says she's ready for her next challenger. Liv Morgan walks in. She says she's back and says congratulations on the win.

Logan Paul and The Vision come out. We go to break and return. Paul puts over Brock Lesnar and says he is The Beast. He says it was a pleasure doing business with Drew. He says Bronson reed hit everyone on the other side with tsunami's and says they won't come back with victories. He says Logan Paul is the biggest mainstream star on the face of the planet. He says he fits in perfectly with his vision of WWE. He says CM Punk will defend the title and lose it to Bron Breakker on Netflix. He says Bron is the uncrowned heavyweight champ of the world.

Bron says he's upset at how easy it was to pin CM Punk. He says he thought he would need to go to a place he has never been before to beat him. He said he realized Punk is only a soft @ss b!tch. He says Punk is no different than vet's living off of past glory or Seth holding everyone else down. He says Punk's wife is a bigger star than he is. He says Punk tried to break his neck and ruin his life. He says he tried to take it away from him. He says he will ruin Punk's life. He says he's coming for his career and every good memory the fans have of him.

He says Punk came up to him last year and said see if you can cut a promo with the big dogs. He says consider the promo cut. He says when Punk is down on January 5th, he will realize he's not close to him, the real bad@ss of the world.

Thoughts: I'm not sure what Bron was referring to here with Punk. It seems like Logan Paul is now officially with The Vision. I'm okay with it but it may be a problem when Logan is out for weeks at a time.

Jackie tries to interview Jey as he leaves. He doesn't want to talk and says he knows nothing about the masked man at Survivor Series. He is asked about Bron Breakker. He says he doesn't care about Bron or The Vision. He says there's a lot of people in his head that need to get out. He says the only person to blame is the person looking in the mirror. He says Roman said it best when he said the titles look best on Roman's shoulders and not his.

The Last Time Is Now Tournament Semifinals - Gunther vs Solo Sikoa

Talla Tonga is with Solo.

They lock up. Gun pushes him and Solo ducks a shot. Gun side headlocks him. They shoulderblock each other then trade forearms. Solo runs through a chop and shoulders him over. Gun facekicks him out. We go to break and return.

We go to break and return. Solo running hip attacks Gun in the corner. Gun running lariats him. Gun hits a big lariat for 2. Solo samoan drops him.for 2. Solo goes for a samoan spike and Gun hits chops. Gun hits a chop flurry and Solo uranage's him. Solo hits a top rope splash for 2.

Gun sleepers him. Solo pulls the top buckle off and is german suplexed. Talla Tonga gets on the apron and Gun hits him. Talla facekicks Gun outside. Talla holds Gun outside for a samoan spike. The ref sees it. Gun bangs Solo's hand off the apron.Gun low blows Solo then hits a big powerbomb for the win.

Thoughts: This worked out well and turned into a good match. I can't say I was hyped for it going in but they really got the idea of this right with them having a hoss style match. We had lots of hard shots here, lariats and slams. They did so something with Gun working on Solo's samoan spike thumb but I think a lot of it happened during the break where we couldn't see it. There was a graphic out that spoiled that Gunther is winning the tournament here and he won as expected.

LA Knight comes out since he is facing Gunther in the tournament final. LA says he doesn't care what he did or what he will do. He says he wishes him the best and says he will see him soon.

The ref and Adam Pearce talk. The ref says no one saw anything out of the ordinary at Survivor Series but he says everyone said they saw Seth Rollins walking around town. AJ Styles and Dragon Lee come in. AJ says they want to defend their tag titles next week against The War Raiders. Adam agrees.

Rey Mysterio is interviewed. He says as long as Dom keeps hiding behind Judgment Day, he has no problem going through them one at a time. Jackie asks if Rey will take one more run at the IC Title. He says it hasn't been ruled out.

Logan Paul walks in. He says he stumbled upon crazy talk. Rey says he's more of an @ss than his own son. Logan says he's taller than him and a great dad unlike him. Logan says the IC Title belongs to The Vision. He says to consider this a warning and says he needs to step down. Rey asks who will stop him if he doesn't? Logan says he won't just stop him, but retire him. Rey slaps him and officials break it up.

Thoughts: Logan isn't known for being super tall but he looked like he had 2 feet on Rey here.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky

Iyo and Bliss go at it. Bliss knees her in the gut. Flair swings Bliss' feet into Iyo. Flair facekicks Rhea off the apron when Iyo moves. Iyo rolls Flair into a double stomp. We go to break and return.

Rhea standing reverse cloverfeats Bliss and has her hanging. Rhea clubs on Bliss then germans her. Iyo 619's Bliss' back then Rhea low sliding kicks Bliss for 2. Iyo comes in and misses a meteora. Iyo forearms Bliss and Bliss fires back. Iyo flapjacks Bliss.

Rhea and Flair get in. They stare down a bit and taunt each other after missed shots. They trade shots. Flair bangs Rhea's head off the buckles and Rhea upkicks her from the mat. We go to break and return. Flair flips onto apron, boots Bliss and knocks Rhea off the apron. Iyo meteora's Flair.

Rhea tries to lift Flair and falls. She hits a razor's edge on her then Iyo top rope dropkicks Flair for 2. Rhea goes for riptide on Flair and is hit with a ddt. Bliss then ddt's Rhea for 2. Bliss goes for twisted bliss but Rhea gets her knees up. Flair facekicks Iyo and hits natural selection. Bliss hits a twisting ddt on Iyo for 2.

Rhea lariats Flair down on the apron. Bliss hits forearms on Rhea. Rhea headbutts Bliss and hits riptide. Iyo top rope moonsaults Bliss but Flair breaks the pin up. The Kabuki Warriors then run in and beat up on Flair and Rhea to cause a no contest.

Thoughts:
It's a shame we didn't get a clean finish here as the girls were doing well and the crowd was into it. Flair and Rhea did a good job making their section feel like a big feud. Bliss also had a good showing. I thought this was good but with a clean finish and more time, maybe it could have been even more.

Flair and Rhea are sent into the posts. The Warriors double team Iyo with kicks. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria then run down and beat up The Warriors. Lyra is on the table and Liv Morgan sweeps her. Perez and Raquel then run in and beat up the Warriors. Perez hits a code red on Bayley. The Judgment Day then take the titles and pose with them.

Thoughts
: Where things go from here, I don't know but it did feel a bit chaotic and made me interested to see where it goes.

Overall thoughts: We only had 4 matches here but two of them were pretty strong battles. Gunther/Solo was the match of the night and The Rhea vs Flair tag was pretty good before the run-in finish. They gave away some solid stuff here and it was a good show overall. I'm interested to see where things go from here. I'd give this a low 7 out of 10 due to the last two matches being so strong. I'd recommend checking them both out.
