Thoughts: Maru won as expected. Hiro got a couple of comebacks here before being put down. I don't know that Hiro really needed to get suplexed on the floor 4 times here. It was all squash mostly.

Los Tranquilos de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI and RYUSEI) vs Mohammaed Yone, Katsumi Inahata and Yuto Koyanagi

KI is in the blue and Yuto is in the gray.

TA dropkicks Masa. Masa germans him then shoulders him over for 2. Masa piledrivers TA for 2. Masa does submits him with a strangle hold gamma.

Thoughts: It didn't get enough time and was a bit one-sided. TA mostly got dominated and he just didn't get that big exciting comeback to make this more interesting. It was so-so.

N-1 Victory 2026 Block B Match - Manabu Soya vs. OZAWA

Oz blocks him as he tries to yell. Oz facekicks him and Soya shoulders him over. Oz kips up then back elbows him. Oz basement dropkicks him for 2. Oz boots him in the corner. Oz ties him up in the ropes and teases licking his face.

Thoughts: It could have been good, but it was mostly all shenanigans. Oz acted goofy all match and Soya joined in. Yoshitatsu also got involved a bit. There just wasn't a lot once subtracted all the goofiness and this was disappointing.

Alejandro, Daiki Odashima & Dragon Bane vs. Team 2000X (Jun Masaoka, Kai Fujimura & YO-HEY)

Thoughts: I didn't like this. The beatdown/bullying of Alejandro went on too long and got things off to a slow start. It never really got into the fast paced juniors action you would want. We also saw almost nothing from Bane and Daiki here.

Ale and Kai fight outside after. It gets broken up and they continue fighting inside. The heels taunt Ale on the mic after and hold a mask of his up at him.

N-1 Victory 2026 Block B Match - Kenoh vs. Kouga

Kouga superkicks him and Ken dragon suplexes him. Ken PK's him for 2. Ken then does another yes lock/crossface and Kouga is out. Ken wins.

Thoughts: They did a lot of kicking here. The part where they kicked each other in the back went on a bit long. They really want Kouga to be a superworker and a top guy. He hits his stuff clean and looks fine, but he's only been wrestling for 3 years and he spent most of that doing rookie stuff. He's not there yet and just because you went on excursion doesn't mean you are a top worker. The kicks didn't really progress into anything enough for me and it got a little boring as they endlessly kicked each other with no end in sight. I'd say this was average.

Ken they talks to him on the mic after. They butt heads and slap hands.

N-1 Victory 2026 Block B Match - KENTA vs. Tetsuya Endo

They trade basic arm holds. Kenta hits leg kicks and drops him with a chest kick. Kenta kicks him in the back for 1. Kenta hits chest kicks and knees him in the gut for 2. Endo chops Kenta.

Endo top rope ssp's but Kenta gets his knees up. Kenta busaiku knees him for 2. Endo hits forearms. Kenta slaps him and drops him. Kenta then hits more slaps for 2. Endo rolls him and pulls on his leg.

Endo pushes Kenta's knees into the mat. Endo spinning torture rack bombs Kenta for 2. Endo does a corkscrew ssp on Kenta and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a different one with Kenta being more of an underdog face here than his usual grumpy vet role. Endo mostly worked the legs here, I guess to ground him for the corkscrew ssp at the end. I thought it needed to be a bit more exciting and Endo needed to get to show off a bit more. I also didn't buy that Endo could win this one until it happened. I thought it was average.

Endo talks on the mic after and Kenta responds.

Overall thoughts: The opener was short and nothing special but it did work out well. Marufuji squashed Tsuruya. LTJ had a boring trios match. Masa/Titus was too one-sided. Soya/Ozawa was all shenanigans and it stopped what would have been a good match otherwise. Alejandor's match wasn't that good. Kenoh/Kouga was mostly all kicks without a clear direction and it was average. The main wasn't what I expected and also was average. I'd give this show a 4 out of 10. It underwhelmed and disappointed. This really could have been a great show though if it was booked differently.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 9/14/2026 N-1 Victory 2026 Day 2

Thoughts: It went a little longer than it needed to. What we got was acceptable enough but nothing too special. Kouga's new shoulder flip into a knee is interesting. No one really botched anything. The finishing stretch wasn't too hot here.

Thoughts: I'll save you the 7 minutes of watching this and let you know that Menso lost...like he always does. This was filler and not much else. It wasn't anything else special.

Thoughts: Ryu took the fall as expected here. Everyone but Endo took it easy and if you were looking for a bunch of finishers or cool moves, this wasn't it. We barely even saw Hayata here. This wasn't much of note and was a little below average.

Naito has the ref hand him his title twice after then throws it down twice. Naito then drags the belt around the ring while looking at Kenta's team. Kenta and Endo shake hands.

N-1 Victory 2026 Block A Match - Kazuyuki Fujita vs. CHEN

They shake hands. Kaz backs him up on the ropes then forces a break. They shoulder each other and Chen side headlocks him. Kaz shoulders him over. Chen double chops Kaz down. Kaz back body drops him and lariats him. Kaz chokeslams him. Kaz then powerbombs him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a simple match as expected and was very average. Neither of these two are the most exciting guys and it was never going to be that great.

Sugi knees him in the head for 2. Sugi guillotines him. Iino is out and Sugi wins.

Thoughts: Iino tried and did show some energy but Sugi kept slowing it down with some basic shots. It was acceptable but they were by no means going for anything great here. Sugi didn't take any real big bumps in this one and he didn't do a ton but mostly just kill the rhythm here.

Sugi throws the ref out after.

Alejandro, Daiki Odashima & Dragon Bane vs. Team 2000X (Kai Fujimura, Tadasuke & YO-HEY)

Ale and Daiki hit stereo slingshot plancha's outside. Kai pushes the ref into Ale and the ref gets grabbed from the apron. Kai low blows Ale and pins him.

Thoughts: The finish was a bit lame. The ref really should have DQ'd the heels just for grabbing him and holding him. Effort wise, it was by far the best match on here as we got a lot of flying. There were a lot of people coming in and out of this as they pleased and if you blinked, chances were you missed something here. I would only rate this as acceptable as the structure wasn't quite there and the finish was weak.

Tadasuke sits in a chair and talks to Alejandro after. Ale's crew leaves and Kai holds Ale's mask.

Wolf slaps him around as he stands over him. Wolf running lariats him for 2. Wolf pop up powerbombs him and low knees him in the face for the pin.

Thoughts: Inamura was doing lucha early which was kind of cool. They were kind of building towards something decent but thn they had to do the usual heel stuff at the end and that took away from this. Why the ref allowed Yoshi to pull him out and not do anything about it beyond me. This was average.

Wolf hits Yoshiki and 2 young lions with a weapon after.

KK slams him down. Shane 2nd rope backdrops him for 1. Shane pulls him up and lariats him down for 2. KK kimura takeovers him. KK does cattle mutilation to him and Shane taps out.

Thoughts: KK mostly worked the arm here with armdrags and various arm submissions before winning. Shane worked the back a little bit, but maybe could have done more. What we got was acceptable, but the all the limb work meant this match was going to look a certain way.

Kaito talks to Shane on the mic after. KK then talks more after to close the show.

Overall thoughts: It was an acceptable show overall, but the only people who went all out were the juniors in the 6-man. Everyone took it easy here and didn't really try to impress. That's often the case with tournaments when they go to smaller buildings and that's what happened here. I'd say the junior's 6 man tag was the best thing on here. I'd only give this is a 5 out 10 overall and wouldn't recommend it.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 9/12/2026 N-1 Victory 2026 Day 1

Thoughts: It didn't get the time to be a classic sadly. What we got was okay though. The Yoshitatsu interference wasn't necessary, but we got it. They had the right idea with Endo flying around, being the underdog and taking various slams and suplexes.

Thoughts: I liked it and I though this was what it was supposed to be. Kenta hit various kicks and Soya did the power moves and big strikes. Soya winning was a nice surprise here too. This was okay.

Thoughts: It was average. It lost it's flow about half-way through and never regained it. Sugi didn't get any great offense in here either which didn't help things.

TA flying pumping knees him then hits a chaos theory german for the win.

Thoughts: I was fine with this until the last few minutes when they got stupid. Titus was kicking out of 2nd rope dragon suplexes then later dragon suplexes without selling all that much. This isn't even some major show or even the main event.

N-1 Victory 2026 Block A Match - Alpha Wolf vs. Kaito Kiyomiya

KK low shining wizard's him for 1. KK is popped up and he shining wizards him off of it for 2. KK top rope elbow drops him and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't really what I expected. Wolf did more strikes here. Ken picked up the pace for offense but I didn't think they meshed that well. I was just hoping they'd do more of a juniors match than what we got here. This was average.

N-1 Victory 2026 Block B Match - OZAWA vs. Kouga

Kouga avoids a lock up and shoulders him over. Kouga spin kicks him in the gut. They armdrag each other. Oz headscissors him and they stand off. Oz knees him in the gut, Kouga goes up and over him then backflips. Kouga spinning heel kicks him.

Yoshitatsu trips Kouga in front of the ref and pulls him out. The ref yells at Yoshi then Oz does as well. Oz is sent into and over the rails. Oz sends Kogua into the rails in the stands. They go into the stands to fight.

Kouga superkicks him. Kouga brainbusters him for 2. Kouga PK's him in the head multiple times for 2. Kouga goes for a powerbomb. Oz backslides him and pins him.

Thoughts: The finish was weak here. It was a slower match but it was fine. Kouga is basically acting like Katsuhiko Nakajima in this new gimmick and he mostly stuck to kicks. His kicks looked good though and that's what's most important. They certainly made Kouga come across as important here in his return from excursion and I'm interested to see how he develops under the new name. Even though he lost, I still think this match helped give him credibility as he kicked Oz's @ss for the majority of this one. It was okay bout and I'd be interested to see this what a rematch of this one looks like in a few years.

Kouga hits mounted forearms on Oz after. The ref and ring boys try to stop him and eventually do.

Ozawa talks on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: It was an encouraging day at the N-1. Even if nothing was great, most of the guys are solid, experienced workers and it seems like there's a high possibility of some good bouts in this tournament. Inamura/Iino was maybe the best match of the night. Endo/Mas was okay. Shane got a decent bout out of Fujita. Soya/Kent was exactly what it should have been and was okay. I didn't like Sugi/Chen. Kenoh/Titus went well until the end. Alpha/Kaito was average. The main was okay and Kouga came off like the new Katsuhiko Nakajima here. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall. We had a lot of okay wrestling here and it made me want to see the next day of the tournament. The show was good overall.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 8/9/2026 Legacy Rise 2026

BUSHI & RYUSEI vs. Black Menso-re & Super Crazy vs. Kid Lykos & Kid Lykos II vs. Midori Takahashi & Yuto Koyanagi

Thoughts: It was an okay opening style tag. It had some flying and a little comedy before going home. The comedy wasn't too silly though so it was fine.

Jun Masaoka & Kai Fujimura vs. Daiki Odashima & Eita

Daiki and Eita get nailed before the bell. Eita is sent into the rails. Kai chokes him there. Kai chokes Eita with a shirt. Eita throws Kai out and sends him into the rails. They go into the stands and Eita hits him in the aisle. We then get a double countout.

Thoughts: It was all Eita and Kai brawling here with not much else. They wanted to put over that they didn't like each other and they were successful at it.

Eita hits Kai with the sign then nails Yoshitasu too. The fighting then continues outside.

GHC 200 Title Tournament First Round Match - HAYATA vs. Masa Kitamiya

They have 200 seconds as the time limit here and a 5 second countout limit.

Masa misses a corner charge and rolls up Haya for 2 counts. Haya side headlocks him, they criss-cross each other on the ropes and Masa elbows him over. Masa samoan drops Haya then sentons him. Masa bulldogs Haya and sentons him for 2.

Masa lariats Haya onto the apron. Haya enzugiri's him there. Haya is sent into the rails. Haya kicks Masa as he tries to get in and Masa doesn't beat the count in. Haya wins by countout.

Thoughts: Similar to WWE Speed matches, it was hurried and short. These matches are never anything great or memorable and I don't know why Noah is taking the concept.

GHC 200 Title Tournament First Round Match - AMAKUSA vs. Tetsuya Endo

Endo is dropkicked whil on the apron. Ama topes him. Ama springboard chops him then top rope tornillo's him. Ama takes him over for 2. Endo pele kicks him and Ama hurricanrana's him over the top. Ama 2nd rope poisonrana's him but Endo no sells it. Endo flying pumping knees him from behind and flying headscissors him. Endo pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one. I didn't really get the no selling the poisonrana spot. It was too short to even really rate.

Manabu Soya, YO-HEY & Yuki Iino vs. OZAWA, Tadasuke & Takashi Sugiura

Tada and Yo go at it. Tada shoulders him over. Yo flying headscissors Tada. Tada takes running back elbows on the ropes. Yo gets a 2 count on Tada. Yoshitatsu pulls Yo outside and hits him with a night stick.

Tada kneebreakers Yo. He then spinning toe hold's him. Yo superkicks him. Tada takes a double bodyblock then a double backdrop. Yo meteora's Tada for 2.

Sugi chairs yo in the head and Tada rolls up Yo. Tada pins Yo.

Thoughts: It was short and acceptable. It didn't really get the time to be anything too great. I think this was Yo-Hey's return, but he lost here which was lame. Ozawa did his usual antics here.

Yo-Hey challenges Tada for tomorrow's show. Tada says they could but doesn't promise he will show up. Yo challenges him again as Tada leaves.

GHC 200 Title Tournament First Round Match - Kenoh vs. Alpha Wolf

Wolf dropkicks him as he takes his jacket off. Wolf corner lariats him then suplexes him into the buckles. Wolf top rope moonsaults Ken's back. Wolf slingshot plancha's him outside. Thoughts: It was a shorter one here. Neither guy advances due to this going to a draw. They didn't have a ton of time to sell here and it indeed was another sprint.

GHC 200 Title Tournament First Round Match - Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Yoshiki Inamura

YI misses a lariat and is armdragged and dropkick. KK clubs on him then YI dropkicks him. KK dropkicks YI off the apron. KK dropkicks him in the knee and YI flying shoulders him. YI lariats him down for 2. KK backrolls him for 2. KK backrolls him with a bridge for 2. KK flying knees him.

KK tries a flying knee again and is thrown into a back body drop. KK rolls him up for 2. KK flying shining wizards him. YI muso's him for 2. YI lariats him down for 2. We then go to a time limit drop as KK is powerbombed.

Thoughts: This was no surprise. It seemed likely neither guy would lose here. But having 2 draws in a row in the first tournament for a new title is lame stuff.

Kenta waistlock takedowns him and they wrestle on the mat. Kenta gets up. Maru trips him. Kenta hits kicks to the chest. Kenta kicks him in the back. Maru chops him. Maru superkicks him. Maru hits kicks out of the corner. Kenta crossfaces him. Kenta takes him down by the arm and does a rings of saturn with a headscissors. Maru pumping knees him in the head for 2.

They trade chops for forearms. Kenta hits slaps. Maru pumping knees him, hook kicks him and pumping knees him. Maru tiger tiger drivers him into an armbar. Maru grounded guillotines him and submits him.

Thoughts: It was a hard hitting battle. It was probably only about half the match we would have gotten 15 years ago, but what we got was okay. There was lots of stiff shots here and not so much flying.

Maru thanks Kenta after. He says he's a great wrestler and says let's fight or team up. He says he will keep defending the belt.

GHC Heavyweight Title Match - Shane Haste (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito

Thoughts: It was an okay match. Naito won as expected here. They both worked each other's necks and Naito ended up winning with a destino. It made sense. They maybe only had like one botch and Shane made Naito look good here. Shane also strong enough to lift up Naito for his destino's and made sure the moves hit clean.

Naito gets on the mic after and says his next match has been decided. He says he has been enjoying himself in Noah. He then does the LTJ roll-call. him, Bushi and Ryusei pose together.

Overall thoughts: The GHC200 matches were wastes of time as they were too short to be anything good. Why Noah took that concept from WWE is unknown. And having 2 draws in the first tournament for the title makes sure people know it is worthless. I liked the 2 opening matches. Eita/Kai just brawled in their match and it never officially got going. Ozawa's match was acceptable. Both the main and semi main were alright. I'd say the main was the best match on he show. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as it was an okay show overall.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 5/2/2026 Spring Mayhem Ryogoku 2026

Pro Wrestling NOAH 5/2/2026 Spring Mayhem Ryogoku 2026

Kat backrolls him for 2. Eita burning hammers him on his stomach. Kat hits a nice dropkick. Eita hits a Z360 then superkicks him. Eita then pins him.

Thoughts: Kat is being used a rookie here. He's been wrestling since 2021 and has been wrestling longer than some of the non-rookies here. It's ridiculous. He hit a nice dropkick though. Eita's Z360 looked nice though and he won easily.

Daiki Odashima, Kazuyuki Fujita & Mohammed Yone vs. White Raven Squad (HAYATA, KENTA & Tetsuya Endo)

Thoughts: It was an acceptable tag. They kept things moving here. Daiki looked good and showed some confidence. Endo got a couple of his nice flips in.

Two On One Handicap Match - Lykos Gym (Kid Lykos I & Kid Lykos II) vs. Knull

Knull is double teamed and he pushes them away. Knull throws them into each other and double lariats them. Knull corner splases I then corner lariats II. I springboard double stomps Knull then II PK's Knull. I standing moonsaults Knull. Knull catches II's plancha and slams him on the apron. Knull then swats away I's plancha's.

Knull flying facekicks I for 2. II clubs on Knull. Knull then powerbombs II onto I and pins both.

Thoughts: It went as expected with Knull destroying the smaller guys. The smaller guys got as much in as they could flying wise. It didn't go too long thankfully.

All Rebellion (Alejandro, Harutoki & Kaito Kiyomiya) vs. Passionate RATEL'S (Manabu Soya & Saxon Huxley) & Yuki Iino vs. Team 2000X (Masa Kitamiya, Tadasuke & Takashi Sugiura)

Tada then takes a triple team powerbomb. Kaito and Sugi trade forearms. Sugi spears him then Kaito flying knees him. Masa backdrops Kaito then Ale tope con hilos outside.

Haru step up enzugiri's Masa. Ale top rope splashes Tada. Soya deadlift suplexes Ale. Iino samoan drops Ale. Soya death valley drivers Ale for 2. Ale takes a ddt + big ending combo and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a short waste of talent. They have a lot of people who could go here and they threw them all into this where no one got to to stand out that much. Iino and Soya's new look is absolutely awful. They said Iino is now joining NOAH. He'll have better opponents here but it's just one more reason not to watch DDT.

Soya talks on the mic after and yells and poses.

Team 2000X (Alpha Wolf & Kai Fujimura) vs. Los Tranquilos de Japon (Angel Reyes & RYUSEI)

AR and Ryu do the LIJ pose.

Wolf back elbows and elbow drops Ryu. Wolf then bites Ryo's finger. Ryu takes a back elbow then is dropped. He takes an elbow drop then Kai rakes his face with his boot. Ryu dropkicks Kai after taking an eye rake.

AR comes in and superkicks Kai. He enzugiri's Wolf. AR hits a double handspring cutter. AR top rope moonsaults his opponents outside. AR spin kicks Kai in the face. Kai superkicks him in the face and screams.

Wolf forearms AR down. AR hits a bad leg lariat the standing moonsaults him. Ryu running ssp's him. Wolf and AR trade shots. Wolf hits a corner lariat then backbreakers him for 2. Wolf lariats AR then slaps him around.

Ryu takes corner attacks then a superkick from Wolf. AR takes a superkick + trapped arms piledriver and is pinned.

Thoughts: Reyes is your typical indy wrestler. Ryusei is a bit small and not in the best shape. I think Kai's new heel character is a bit over the top. I thought this was just average.

No Disqualification Match - BUSHI vs. Jun Masaoka

Bushi takes a low shot on the ropes before this begins. Bushi is then sent into the rails. Jun hits Bushi with a sign then drive by kicks him. Jun double stomps Bushi for 2. Jun unties Bushi's mask.

Jun boots Bushi out of the corner then 2nd rope double stomps his back. Jun superkick Bushi for 2. Bushi mists the ref when Jun moves. Jun kicks Bushi in the crotch. Yoshi then comes in to help stomp on Bushi.

Bushi powerbombs Jun onto multiple chairs. Bushi then poses Yoshitatsu outside. Bushi backslides Jun into a bridge but the ref was down and the count is delayed. Bushi dropkicks Jun.

Jun double stomps Bushi and unties his mask again. Jun then takes off Bushi's mask. Bushi superkicks him while he's on a chair. Jun puts chairs on Bushi then chairs the chairs. Jun top rope double stomps the chairs into Bushi for 2. Bushi mists Jun. Bushi gets a mask back on and codebreakers Jun. Bushi 2nd rope diving codebreakers him and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't that much of a hardcore match. They used chairs and a sign of some sort. I feel like they did an acceptable job without going into blood, but it wasn't quite as aggressive or violent as you'd want. It was alright but not much else.

Shinjiro Ohtani, who is paralyzed, is brought out.

Doc twisting drops Maru from his shoulder for 2. Ken hits kicks on The Bros then takes a Karl cutter. Maru avoids a magic killer then cradles Doc and pins him.

Thoughts: I was surprised to see Marufuji's team win here. It was average. Doc and Karl don't do a lot but various strikes and neither do Ken or Marufuji anymore. It was a pretty simple and basic match without too many big highlights.

Marufuji shakes Ohtani's hand after.

Thoughts: It went well early and was looking like the dream match it should have been. Then it kept going. Naito got tired, couldn't hit destino on multiple tries and it got sloppy. It was still a nice win for Ozawa and the two are natural opponents. Had Naito not even tried destino, it would have been a lot better. I still liked it but this had the potential to be great if Naito had been less sloppy.

Oz does Naito's eye pose after as Team 2000X poses over Naito. Oz talks on the mic after. He says Noah is a fradulent promotion. He says he will change Noah. He tells Naito to join him under his wing and says they will merge with LTJ.

They go up top and Bane top rope poisonrana's him. Bane standing spanish flies him for 2. Bane hits a made in Japan for 2. Bane spinning electric chair drivers him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. They were kicking out of crucifix bombs, top rope poisonrana and other head dropping moves. It was fine when they stuck with the flying but the head drops brought it down. The flying did stick out a bit more here though since we saw so few dives on this.

Eita comes out and claps for Bane after. They end up agreeing to a title match. Bane thanks him.

Shane hits bomb valley death and pins him.

Thoughts: Welcome to NOAH. 40 year old Shane Haste is apparently the answer, but I'm not sure what the question was. I have no idea why they did this, other screwing over younger talent being a NOAH tradmark and NOAH not liking talents that aren't over 40. The match was okay but not that memorable outside of the result.

They shake hands after.

Shane says it's been a long journey to get here but now he's on the top. Shane thanks everyone and Kenta translates for him. Shane says he wants to defend the title against Kenta. Kenta asks if he wants a match with him. They talk about having a match 13 years ago and Shane says he wants to beat him. Kenta says he's happy for him and this is his time.

Overall thoughts:  Ozawa/Naito had issues but was still my favorite match on here and the main was okay enough. We had a lot of Team 2000X interference clogging up the card as usual here and a lot of Noah's stars were stuck in undercards for some reason. I'd give it a 5 out of 10. The show was acceptable as a whole but not great.

Thoughts: It was an okay juniors battle here. We got some flying as expected and they didn't overdo it too much before going home. It could have been a little shorter though.

Soda is Sodapop Hendrix. He has Sonny Ono with him.

Chase offers a handshake and Soda slaps it away. Soda side headlocks him and snapmares him. Soda knees him in the gut and chinlocks him. Chase takes him down and armlocks him. Soda armdrags him into an armlock.

Thoughts: Chase really mogged Soda here wrestling wise. Chase is very clearly a skilled amateur wrestler. He's got a good look (though he's not the tallest) and he's someone WWE should be eying. Soda didn't look that great here and he didn't do a lot but various kicks. It wasn't great or anything but this was good exposure for Chase.

Dream Girl Ellie & ZONES vs. Alivia Rose & Great Sakuya vs. Marie Malenko & Sofia Sivan

Zones lariats Sofia over. Ellie basement dropkicks Sofia for 1. Marie lariats Zones. Rose bulldogs Marie. Ellie takes a double boot. Sakuya asai moonsaults Ellie for 2. Sakuya top rope moonsaults Ellie and wins.

Thoughts: Three ways are usually messy and when you throw in a bunch of green or lesser talented girls, it's gonna be ugly. There were a lot of things that didn't look good here and it looked like amateur hour for the most part. But it was nice to see some new wrestlers. Marie didn't really get to do much here but a dropkick, a lariat and some smaller stuff.

Cole superkicks him. Titus flying knees him. Titus brainbusters him for 2. Titus hits a chaos theory on Cole and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a battle royal with pins and submissions. We basically got various spots while there were a lot of people in and then it turned into a 1v1 match at the end. It went a bit long. Everyone to come in, hit some spots then the next person would come in and restart the process. The final 2 of Titus and Cole then did an indy style match which I didn't like. Cole's young and a junior face. I could maybe see him getting more work in the future. Ayala is a bigger Puerto Rican guy and I expect a bigger company to give him a shot. He's more of a standard heavyweight. Iker is kind of your average guy you'd find on the indies. De Windt didn't leave much of an impression on me. Crane listened to my advice - he lost weight and got better gear and now looks a whole lot better. This was average overall and the format was a bit tough to work with.

Kenoh, Masakatsu Funaki & Naomichi Marufuji vs. Daichi Hashimoto, Hikaru Sato & Masaaki Mochizuki

Ken and Saito trade shots. Ken front facelocks him then leglocks him. Ken ankle locks him and they get up. Maru and Daichi get in. They trade hammerlocks. Daichi wristlocks him. Maru trips him.

Mochi gets a shot in on Funaki. Funaki then takes corner attacks. Funaki takes a double chest kick. Funaki fights off the triple team with bad slaps. He uraken's Mochi and high kicks Daichi down. Funaki PK's Sato then grounded chokes him. Sato is out and Funaki's team picks up the win.

Thoughts: It was mostly all kicks here and people taking each other to the mat without a ton of flow or teamwork involved. People would hit some kicks, go for a hold, the hold would get broken then the next pairing would get in. It got a little annoying. Funaki didn't look that great here and didn't quite have some of the striking power he used to. It was nice to see some different pairings though.

Izzy James vs. Kaito Kiyomiya

They shake hands and Izzy side headlocks him off of it. Izzy shoulders him over. KK flying crossbodies him. KK leapfrogs him then running forearms him. KK elbow drops him for 2. KK chinlocks Izzy. KK boots and euros him in the corner. KK euros him down. Izzy blocks shots and hits his own. Izzy corner spears him. Izzy corner spinning lariats him. Izzy backdrops him and sentons him for 2. KK blocks a corkscrew kick off the ropes. KK flying neckbreakers him.

KK dropkicks Izzy. Izzy blocks a shining wizard. They trade forearms. Izzy legsweeps him then misses a curb stomp. KK blocks a lariat and hits a spinning lariat. Izzy double underhook twisting drops him for 2. Izzy top rope dropkicks him for 2.

KK flying knees him then hits a shining wizard for 2. KK shoulderbreakers him. KK misses a top rope elbow drop. Izzy hits euros and chops. Izzy facekicks him, misses a corkscrew kick and is hit with a shining wizard. Kaito pins him.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time to play out. I don't quite love Izzy's corkscrew kick off the ropes spot but it wasn't that bad otherwise. Izzy did fine it was an acceptable main event. Kaito got the win here as expected.

Kaito then talks on the mic briefly after to close the show.

Overall thoughts: These shows are all basically random and you never know who will show up. It makes it hard to build to but for hardcore fans, it's neat to see some new and obscure names that you'd have to watch different indies to see. The opener was alright. The second match wasn't anything too special but Chase Emery looked good. The women's match was ugly. The rumble was a little tied down by the format, went long and was average. The semi-main was all kicks and ground work and not much else. The main was okay and Izzi James didn't do bad vs Kaito. I wouldn't recommend this one but it was neat to see a bunch unknown wrestlers get a chance to shine and it was nice to see some new matchups. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 overall.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 1/2/2026 New Year Reboot 2026

Pro Wrestling NOAH 1/2/2026 New Year Reboot 2026

Atsushi Kotoge, Hajime Ohara & Shuhei Taniguchi vs. Hiroto Tsuruya, Midori Takahashi & Yuto Koyanagi

Thoughts: It was a short rookies vs vets match. The rookies did get more in than I expected but the 3 rookies still didn't get much in. Yuto's still a little green. Hiro's the tallest and has a lot of weight to put on yet. Hiro hit a nice dropkick here.

All Rebellion (Alejandro, Harutoki & Kai Fujimura) vs. Team 2000X (Jun Masaoka, Tadasuke & Takashi Sugiura)

Tada and Ale go at it. Tada slaps him in the corner. Ale goes up and over and does headflips. Ale flips out of a hiptoss, armdrags him and springboard diving armdrags him. Ale dropkicks him.

Kai and Jun go at it. Jun pulls Kai by the hair. Kai boot Jun out of the corner. Jun facekicks him. Kai flying headscissors Jun then dropkicks him. Jun throws Kai out. Yoshitatsu stabs Kai with something outside as while everyone is out there. Ale's head is banged off the apron.

Haru is put up top. Sugi 2nd rope sperplexes him. Sugi half-crabs him. Ale breaks it up. Sugi and Haru trade forearms. Haru slaps him then Sugi knees him in the gut. Sugi facekicks him on the ropes and Haru step up enzugiri's him.

Jun eye rakes Ale when they get in. Ale slingshot splashes him. Ale double dropkicks Jun and Tada out then tope con hilos both. Jun takes corner attacks and a double superkick to the head for 2. Jun takes a slice then a top rope splash for 2. Ale goes up top and Tada chairs him. The ref doesn't see it. Jun headlock drivers Ale and pins him.

Thoughts: It went a little longer than needed. The work was acceptable but it bordered on boring towards the end of it. I can't say Harutoki really impressed me here. He might have the size but he isn't the most coordinated and it doesn't always come off well.

Eita, Hi69, Jack Morris & Mohammed Yone vs. White Raven Squad (HAYATA, KENTA, Tetsuya Endo & Ulka Sasaki)

Eitha and Kenta compete for cheers to start and waste time. The ref decides Kenta go the bigger reaction. Eita kicks Ken when he bends over then Ken knees him in the gut. Ken kicks him in the back. Haya comes in and shoulders Eita over then double stomps his back.

Eita armdrags and dropkicks him. Yone comes in and corner lariats Haya twice. Haya enzugiri's him. Yone shoulders him over. Endo handspring corkscrew kicks Yone while he has control of Haya. Yone takes an atomic drop, a dropkick to the head and a running ssp from Endo for 2.

Endo racks Yone then Yoke puts a choke on him. Endo cutters him then Yone sick kicks him. Jack comes in and hits a lariat and an enzugiri on Endo. Jack boots him off the ropes. Jack lariats him over the top then plancha's him outside. Jack top rope splashes him for 2.

Endo hurricanrana's him and they trade pin attempts. Endo powerbomb backbreakers him. Ulka comes in and flying kicks Jack. Jack rolls him up for 2. Jack falcon arrows him. 69 comes in and asai moonsaults Ulka. He kicks him in the head for 2. Ulka cutters him. 69 pop-up back elbows him. Ulka takes corner attacks. Yone lariats Ulka then running knees him for 2.

69 top rope Stuka splashes Ulka. Ulka immediately puts him in an armbar and taps him out.

Thoughts: It wasn't anything too special and the first half wasn't that serious. The ending was pretty lame here as well with Ulka getting splashed and doing an armbar off of it.

Ulka gives his team t-shirts after. Ulka and Kenta talk on the mic and I think Ulka challenges him for the next Korauken show. The crew then poses together for photos. BUSHI slips in and spits mist in Kenta's face. He then has words for him on the mic.

Naomichi Marufuji vs. Katsumi Inahata

They lock up and trade waistlocks. Kat wristlocks him. Maru boots him in the gut. Kat rolls out of a wristlock and Maru trips him. Kat armbars him. Kat keylocks him and hammerlocks him. Maru shoulders him over. Kat chops him and side headlocks him.

Maru chops him in the corner. Maru ddt's him. Kat pop-up knees him then spinning forearms him down. Kat hits a running side slams for 2.

They trade chops. Maru superkicks him then hook kicks him. Maru pumping knees him for 2. Maru pumping knees hi in the side of the head then side headlocks him. Kat submits.

Thoughts: The finish was weak here with Maru hitting and pumping knee then winning with a side headlock. I'm sure this was some initiation thing since this was Katsumi's first match with the promotion but that was pathetic. Katsumi mostly stuck to headlocks him and got chopped a bunch of times. I thought it was average.

Maru talks on the mic after and gives him a Noah jacket. I believe he announces him as a new member of the promotion.

Kenoh & Los Intocables (Daga & Daiki Odashima) vs. AMAKUSA, Junta Miyawaki & Kaito Kiyomiya

Thoughts: It was an okay tag with Daiki vs Amakusa being the big theme of it. We saw little of Kenoh and Kaito here and they basically took the night off. They kept things moving in this and it was fine for what it was.

Soya hits chops on both opponents. Karl cutters Soya. Doc high kicks Sax down. Soya is hit with a magic killer and is pinned.

Thoughts: It went longer than it needed to and wasn't very interesting. It was mostly chops and punches and it didn't do it for me. Soya's new Ratel's gimmick sucks and makes him look like a lower card talent.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time to play out and was fine. I thought they pushed the Masa/Inamura and Wolf/Bane feuds well. The other guys were just kind of a long for the ride. Wolf hit a nasty driver on Bane's head here.

Inmaura and Masa fight after. Inamura is thrown out but comes back in and hits shots on Masa. The heels then beat up on Masa and boot the faces out.

Masa talks on the mic after and has words for Inamura.

The heels pose to end the show.

Overall thoughts: It was a bit of a longer show. Nothing was that great on here but the main was alright. The opener was your usual rookies vs vets match. The All Rebellion tag was acceptable only. The 8-man tag wasn't that great. Marufuji kind of embarrassed Inahata some before welcoming him to the company. The Amakusa tag was alright. The Good Brothers tag was boring. The main was an okay bout with Masa/Inamura and Bane/Wolf going at it. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was average and nothing you need to see.
