AEW Dynamite 12/31/2025 New Year's Smash

We are in Omaha, NE. Tony Schiavone and Excalibur are on commentary. 

We see MJF arrive. MJF then comes out. He says he's the world champ. He throws down the AEW World Title and shows off the Triple B version of the title. MJF says to either step up or get stepped on. He says he's not going down until he's the greatest of all time. 

Kenny Omega interrupts on the tron. He says he made him feel like he's approaching the end of the career and he hates that feeling. He says what if he could become champ and says what if they met agin? He says it wouldn't be MJF vs The Cleaner, The Belt Collector or The Best Belt Machine. He says he's not collecting belts and only wants one. MJF says he wouldn't say any of that to his face.

Adam Page comes out. Swerve Strickland then comes out. Security then comes out to stop them. MJF says he's not a measly wrestler like them, he's a professional wrestler. He says wins and losses matter and they are both losers. He tells them to pick up wins, talk to Tony Khan and he will whoop them like he did at World's End. MJF then runs as Page and Swerve beat up security. They clothesline security with a chain and Swerve hits one of them with a podium. Page hits a buckshot lariat and Swerve hits a house call kick.

Page says he will strangle MJF with the belt and Swerve says he only showed MJF a piece of what he's capable of. Swerve says the hunt is on and may the worst man win.

The Opps appear on the screen. Joe asks if 2 buffoons are making a case to be #1 contender. Joe says he's the only one who should be as he was robbed of the title. He says he finds these two obstacles every time he goes on the hunt to get what is his. He says Page put his hands on Hook and said he told him to beat him down and choke him out on site. Joe says meat is back on the menu and says Hobbs is coming for Swerve. Joe says they should do this all next week as he doesn't want to spend another second in this cowtown.

Page says it's new year, same dumb@ss. He says to give them Hobbs and Hook. Swerve wants a No DQ, Lights Out Match. 

Renee interviews Strong, Briscoe and Orange Cassidy. Mark says The Conglomeration is rolling going into 2026. He says they have the TNT Title and will have the TBS Title too. He says Ted Turner might wanna conglomerate too. Mark says the word of the day is another word for choking as The Death Riders will be choking on these nuts. Toni Storm comes in then Mina and Luther come in. They argue about OC. Toni says they have a date with a fig on Peach Street. Toni is given a peach, eats it and goes away. Strong says he doesn't want any part of this and leaves.

Tornado Tag Match - Toni Storm, Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong vs The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir and Daniel Garcia)

They all fight. The men go out and fight. Toni thesz presses Shafir and hits punches. She then dropkicks her. Toni hits mounted corner punches on Shafir. CC throws Toni out. RS hits chops and a dropkick on CC. RS then hits mounted corner punches. DG hits mounted corner punches on RS. OC then goofs around. Shafir full-nelson's OC. OC puts his hands in his pockets then rolls her up for 1. Shafir punches him and DG backdrops OC. Shafir stomps on OC.

OC takes running corner attacks and a double boot. We go to PiP break and return.

RS is triple stomped in the corner. RS leg lariats DG then olympic slams CC. RS dropkicks CC through the ropes. OC and Toni dance and hit attacks off of it. CC takes a double hiptoss. DG facekicks Toni. OC orange punches DG. Shafir does mother's milk on OC. Strong backbreakers Shafir. CC uranage's RS. OC is caught off the top and he stunners CC. Toni hip attacks CC. OC spinning ddt's CC.

Wheeler Yuta pulls OC by the hair. CC pop-up euros OC and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. I don't know why we had to see this again after seeing a similar match at the PPV. OC and Toni did a bunch of comedy here as always. Atleast Garcia tried to hit one of the girls.

Luther and Mina come in after. RS stares down OC.

We get a Mercedes Mone video. She says every division she enters is elevated. She says she's a global icon and says her global mission is accomplished. She says she's not chasing history because she is history. She says she's the game. 

Bandido vs The Beast Mortos

They lock up. Mort flips Band. They flip out of moves. Band back elbows him. Band then tries to do bullfighting with him and Mort stupidly goes for it. Mort headbutts him down. Mort tornillo's him through the ropes. 

They flip over each other's backs and armdrag each other. Mort rolls him up for 2. They sweep each other and stand off. Mort goes out. Band puts his cape on and top rope plancha's Mort outside. We go to PiP break and return.

Band facekicks Mort. Band does a satellite headscissors on Mort and superkicks him. Band top rope frogsplashes him. Mort crucifix bombs him then pop-up samoan drops him for 2. Mort backbreakers him the spinning lariats him for 2. Mort spinning lariats him again. Mort misses a top rope corkscrew moonsault. Band hits a reverse GTS. Band then hits a 21plex and wins.

Thoughts: It was a random bout. Mortos was being used here for a while then just disappeared for a bit. I didn't like all the screwing around with the cape and the bullfighting. They didn't go too far with this at least. It was acceptable.

Brody King and Bandido are interviewed. Band faces MJF in 2 weeks for the Title. He speaks in Spanish. King says Band is the most wanted. He says he will have a bigger target on his head when he walks out champ. King says he's first in line for a title shot when he wins. 

Brody King vs Lee Johnson

King got the win here in a quick one. It was very fast paced and they said it was a standby match. Tony kept calling Lee "Shotty Lee" here. They made the most of the time they had and King won as expected.

We get a Darby Allin video. He says he went to hell with Gabe Kidd at the PPV. He says he's not numb to the pain. He says he's aware of what it gives him. He says his wild stunts give him peace. He says he wants to stand on top of AEW. He says he beat all The Death Riders minus Pac. He says he needs this win and needs to set himself free. He says he's needs to finish what he started.

AEW Continental Title Eliminator Match - Jon Moxley vs Josh Alexander

Josh hits Mox before he's ready and pounds on him in the corner. He rakes his face. Josh rakes Mox's face and hits a crossface shot. They trade forearms and chops. Mox hits a bunch of punches. Josh shoulders him over and hooks the ankle. Josh stomps the leg.

Josh pulls Mox's leg around the ropes. Mox hits chops and punches. Mox hits a corner lariat then mounted corner punches. Mox forearms him over. Mox rakes Josh' eyes on the top rope. Mox is back body dropped out. Mox sells his leg and Josh drops him on the apron knee first. 

Josh kicks Mox in the leg. Mox is in tree of woe and is chopped. Josh corner crossbodies him there then pounds on the knee. We go to PiP break and return. Josh stomps the back of Mox's leg. Josh ankle locks him and Mox ropebreaks. They fight on the apron for a while. Josh slams him on the apron.

Josh misses a top rope moonsault inside. They trade forearms. Josh dropkicks him in the knee. Mox running cutters him for 2. Mox chinlocks him. Josh backdrops him. Mox backdrops him. Josh dropkicks him. Mox running lariats him.

Josh slides out. Mox topes him. Josh is bleeding. Mox's leg is banged off the post. Josh figure fours him around the post. Josh top rope diving knee drops Mox. Josh goes for another ankle lock and Mox grounded chokers him. Mox hits downward elbows then puts the choke back on. Josh then taps out.

Thoughts: Mox won as expected here. Josh mostly worked the leg/ankle and Mox did a decent job of selling it. I liked this and thought they did a good job with it.

MVP and Shelton Benjamin come out after. Mox limps off through the crowd.

The Triangle of Madness talk. Thek says she saw her partners do what they do best and saw Kris drop her friend on her head. Thek says they will make it real toxic.

AEW National Title - Ricochet (c) vs Jack Perry

JP wristlocks him. Ric ropebreaks. They trade hammerlocks. JP is sent out. Luchasaurus and Toa Liona stare down outside. Ric shoulders JP over then pulls him down by the hair. JP sweeps him and side headlocks him. JP shoulders him over and tries to pull the hair but Ric has no hair. JP pulls the beard down and then dropkicks him. JP topes him.

Kaun trips JP, Lucha grabs him then Toa hits Lucha from behind. Ric knocks JP off the apron and topes him. We go to PiP break and return. JP flying forearms him. JP hits chops and forearms. JP flips off the buckles and germans him. 

Ric northern lights suplexes him then brainbusters him. Ric running ssp's him for 2. JP backrolls him for 2. JP lariats him for 2. Ric is back body dropped out. Jack slides out and casadora bulldogs him on the floor. JP superkicks Kaun from the apron. JP is then crotched up top. 

JP top rope diving ddt's him for 2. Kaun trips up JP. JP spits at him then Ric hits a spirit gun and wins.

Thoughts: It had a lot of action here and they kept up a fast pace. They worked better together than I thought and I liked this one. Ric really didn't do that much flying here though.

Toa carries Lucha back to the stage and drops a rail on him. Ric spirit gun's Jack from behind. Kuan chairs the rail onto Lucha's arm. Security comes out and The Demand beat them up. One guard is slammed onto the rail with Lucha's arm under it. 

The Death Riders talk in the back. Mox says he's easy for The Hurt Syndicate to find.He says they are setting the standard. Yuta says he heard Darby's revisionist history and forgot about him. Yuta says Darby needs to go through him to get to Pac. Garcia says it's Death Riders vs The World in 2026.

Willow and Harley talk. Harley says Willow needs to treat this as the last match of her life. Willow says she's been waiting to get her title back for 500+ days.

MJF is interviewed. He says he's about to make his last title reign seem short and sweet. he says he's not worried about others as he's a generational talent. Brodido comes in. King says MJF should be worried about Band taking the Triple B - Bandido's Big Belt. MJF isn't impressed.

AEW TBS Title - Mercedes Mone (c) vs Willow Nightingale

Mone dropkicks her in the knee and sends her into the rails outside. Willow's head is banged off the apron and she is sent into the rails again. Mone meteora's the rails when Willow moves. Mone then take a hard pounce into the rails. 

Willow hits corner lariats on Mone. Mone rolls her up for 2. Willow backslides her for 2 then hits a hard short arm lariat for 2. Mone sends Willow into the buckles and foot chokes her there. Willow 2nd rope dropkicks her. Willow corner cannonballs her for 2. Willow cannonballs her off the apron. Willow is tripped from the apron and goes into the steps. Mone meteora's her into the steps.

We go to PiP break and return.  Willow death valley drivers her. Willow hits lariats. Willow corner backsplashes her. Mone knees her in the gut. Willow pounces her. Willow death valley drivers her for 2. Mone backcrackers her. Willow doctor bomb's her for 2. 

Willow misses a top rope moonsault. Mon tries a top rope frogsplash and Willow gets her knees up. Willow death valley drivers her on the apron. Willow misses a cannonball off the apron and lands on the floor. 

Mone hits 2 suplexes on the floor. Willow drives her into the apron edge. They go on the commentary table. Mone suplexes her on the table but it doesn't break. Mone tries pins and crossfaces her. Mone is pushed into the buckles. Mone backrolls her for a 2 count. Mone gets another 2 count and Willow doctor bombs her to win.

Thoughts: It would have been nice if this had more build to it. This was kind of made out of nowhere. Mone's slowly losing all of her titles so she lost here. I didn't like the apron death valley driver not meaning anything but I liked the rest of this. This hit each other hard, they did some nice spots like the pounce into the rails and I thought they paced it well. I didn't expect much out of this but actually really liked it a lot and thought it was good.

Willow gets confetti after. Orange, Harley, Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey and Kris Statlander come out for her after. Kris hugs her.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual heavy wrestling show from AEW. I didn't like the opener. Band/Mort was acceptable. King/Lee was a quick one. I liked the last 3 matches and thought Mone/Willow was the match of the night. I'd give this a 7 out of 10 and thought it was one of the better AEW shows, though it was mostly due to the wrestling. It was a good show and a nice way to cap off the year.

KF and Matoi go at it. They waistlock each other and trade wristlocks. Matoi side headlock takeovers her and KF headscissors her. Matoi headflips out. Ema gets in. She armdrags Anne then Anne casadora armdrags her. Ann basement dropkicks her in the back. Ema dropkicks her. KF comes in and corner dropkicks Anne then regular dropkicks her for 2. KF hits another dropkick for 2. KF ankle locks her. 

KF takes a double low dropkick. Matoi hits dropkicks on KF. They trade chest forearms. KF dropkicks her in the knee then basement dropkicks her for 2. Matoi slams KF and flipping sentons her for 2. KF cartwheel headscissors her then basement dropkicks her. Ema coems in and hits dropkicks on Matoi. Matoi running dropkicks her.

Anne gets in and dropkicks Ema. She running back elbows her then running dropkicks her. Ema running dropkicks Anne then crabs her. Ema stomps on Anne's back then dropkicks her against the ropes for 2. Anne bulldogs Ema and slams her for 2.

They trade chest forearms. Anne chest forearm flurries her. Ema slingblades her for 2. Anne takes a basement dropkick into a backslide for 2. Anne cradles Ema for 2. Anne legdrops her for 2. Anne hits mounted chest forearms on Ema. Ema hits Fuka's spinebuster move on Anne then half crabs her. Ema full crabs her and submits her.

Thoughts: It was all rookie wrestling here. There were mostly endless dropkicks in this one. I thought it went a bit longer than it needed to. Anne continues to look like the best one of the bunch as she has a lot of energy to her and is decent looking. 

God's Eye (Syuri & Tomoka Inaba) vs. Neo Genesis (AZM & Starlight Kid)

The girls shake hands before the bout. Kid wristlocks Syu. Syu reverses it and side headlocks her. Syu takes her over and Kid headscissors her. Syu is double tripped. Kid team rolls into a double basement dropkick on Syu. Kid standing moonsaults Syu for 2. Syu fisherman suplexes her.

TI snapmares Kid then kicks her in the back. Syu knees Kid in the corner then kicks her hard in the back twice. TI hits knees to Kid's gut in the corner. They trade chest forearms. TI hits forearms on Kid. Kid 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her.

AZM gets in and dropkicks TI. AZM talks up the buckles and does a armdrag + headscissors takeover on her opponents. AZM then hits a double dropkick. TI running facekicks AZM. Syu shotgun dropskicks AZM then running knees her in the corner. AZM hits forearms on Syu. Syu takes corner attacks then hits a double codebreaker. Syu hits hard kicks on both opponents then running knees AZM through the ropes. 

Syu is up top and AZM armdrags her down. AZM PK's her. They high kick each other at the same time. Syu then high kicks her down. Ti trips Kid into an ankle lock and Kid ropebreaks. TI is tripped into the ropes and hit with a 619. Kid top rope crossbodies TI for 2. 

TI spin kicks Kid in the gut. Kid springboards and runs into a spinning high kick. Kid takes a double kick for 2. AZM top rope dropkicks TI. Kid cross-legged fisherman suplexes AZM. Kid is thrown into a knee to the face from TI. TI sitout gordbusters Kid andbuzzsaw kicks her for. AZM rolls Syu into a double stomp. Kid does a slam on TI then TI rolls her up for 2. Kid meteora's TI from behind. AZM top rope double stomps TI. Kid top rope moonsaults TI and wins.

Thoughts: It went a bit longer than it needed to. I can't say we saw a ton of Syurt in this. There were some hard kicks in this as expected. I was alright with this.

Rumble Match - Fukigen Death vs. Yuzuki Aikawa vs. Saki Kashima vs. Koguma vs. Bea Priestley vs. Yuna Mizumori vs. Rina vs. Mei Seira vs. Hina vs. Momo Kohgo vs. Ami Sourei vs. Waka Tsukiyama vs. Lady C vs. Kiyoka Kotatsu vs. Olympia vs. Miyu Amasaki vs. Azusa Inaba vs. Ranna Yagami vs. Rian vs. Akira Kurogane vs. Yuria Hime

Miyu, Akira, Inaba and Rian are first in. Inaba goes out while the others lock up. Miyu takes a double kick then an armdrag into a basement dropkick. Miyu hits a double basement dropkick. Lady C is next in. Inaba ankle locks Miyu and C facekicks Inaba out. C catches Inaba in the air and giant swings her. C is hit with a double dropkick.

Rian basement dropkicks Akira. Yuna Mizumori is next in. Akira underhook suplexes Rian and pins her. Rian is eliminated. Inaba pump kicks Akira then eye pokes her. Inaba bodyscissors takedowns her and pins her. Akira Kurogane is eliminated.

Yuna armdrags Inaba. She then 2nd rope blind springboard diving armdrags C. Kiyoka Kotatsu is next in. Yuna trips C and half-crabs her. Kiyoka breaks it up and hits chest kicks on Yuna. Kiyoka chest kicks Inaba down. Inaba flips out of a snapmare then kicks her in the back. Kiyoka is put in a leg lock by Inaba and then armbars her. Ianab tries to pin her.

Momo Kohgo is next in. Kiyoko ropebreaks on an ankle lock. Her and Inaba trade kicks. Momo springboard double dropkicks both. Momo dropkicks Akira then armdrags C. Momo double 619's twice, kicking 4 girls. Momo hits chest forearms on Yuna.

Koguma is next in. Momo does a rings of saturn to Yuna and Koguma breaks it up with a basement dropkick. Miyu and Kog do Kog's cheer. They shake hands and forearm each other. They try to kick each other at the same time then double kick Inaba. Inaba pump kicks Miyu on a failed double team. Koguma pins Inaba. Azusa Inaba is eliminated. 

Ranna Yagami is next in. Kog does her cheer again. Ranna like usual doesn't want to do it. She goes along with it and Syuri tells Ranna to stop. Ranna boots Kog in the gut. Syuri holds kog in the corner. Kog puts her hair on Syuri with Rian's help. Kog and Ranna do Kog's cheer. Ranna and others then pin Kog. Koguma is eliminated. Ranna is then rolled up by Yuna Mizumori and pinned. Ranna Yagami is eliminated.

Ami Sourei is next in. She traps Yuna in the corner with Rian's body. She then does the same to Momo. C and Ami hit corner splashes on the girls then do stereo shoulderblocks. Kiyoka kicks the two then is double kicked. Olympia is next in.

Kiyoka hanging headscissors C over the top rope. Olym comes in and shoulders over everyone. She then squats Kiyoka. Olym takes a double shoulder. Olym swings Kiyoka into Ami and C. Olym gorilla presses Kiyoka out onto girls for the eliminate. Kiyoka Kotatsu is eliminated.

Momo flying headscissors Olym to the outside. Momo is caught on a dive and double gorilla press dropped outside. Momo Kohgo is eliminated. 

Hina comes out and has a new and improved look. C and Ami take dropkicks on the ropes. Hina does hip throws on 2 girls She then does it to C and Ami. Hina running low dropkicks Ami for 2. Hina STF's Ami. Mei Seira comes in next.

Ami chops Hina. Mei misses a top rope crossbody when both move. Mei trips both and misses a double basement dropkick. Mei 2nd rope springboard dropkicks the two. C takes low dropkicks from Mei and Yuna then a double low dropkick. Mei boots Yuna.

Fukigen Death is next in. Mei and Yuna try pins on each other. Death pins both together. Yuna Mizumori and Mei Seira are eliminated. C kicks Death while she does her taunt. Hina then interrupts it and Death eye pokes her. They repeat the spot. Death eye pokes Ami. 

Yuria Hime is next in. Hime dropkicks Death. Olym skins the cat and bronco busters Hime. Death hits Olym with a newspaper. Olym boots Death out of the corner then dropkicks her. Olym cradle shocks Death. Beat Priestley comes in next.

Bea pump kicks Olym then germans Miyu. She then suplexes Hina. Bea 2nd rope crossbodies 2 girls. Death eye pokes Bea. Bea suplexes Death and pins her. Fukigen Death is eliminated. Hime dropkicks Miyu. 

Waka Tsukiyama is next in. We get a muti-girl headscissors spot. Olym rolls all of them over. Waka then palm strikes Olym to break it. Waka palm strikes all the girls and the ref. 

Saki Kashima is next in. Olym knocks Waka off the apron. Waka Tsukiyama is eliminated. C knocks Olym off the apron and Olym grabs Ami. Ami Sourei and Olympia are eliminated. 

Saki crucifixes C and pins her. Lady C is eliminated.

Rina is next in. Hina then pins Saki. Saki Kashima is eliminated. Rina dropkicks Hina. Rina hip throws Hina and basement dropkicks her for 2. Rina does a double submission on two girls.

Yuzuki Aikawa is next in, making her return after retirement. Yuz chest kicks Rina down then Miyu. Yuz legsweeps Hime and axe kicks her back. Yuz poses on Hime for a pin attempt. Bea superkicks Hime then Rina dropkicks Bea. Bea forearms Rina down. Rina hits forearms on Bea then Bea lariats her. 

Rina does an octopus to Bea. Rina headscissors Bea out and eliminates her. Bea Priestley is eliminated.

Yuz kicks Hime from behind and trades chest forearms with her. Hime running facekicks her three times. Hime legdrops her for 2. Hime headscissors Yuz and does the devil's kiss. Hime boots Yuz. Yuz stunners Hime then spinning high kicks her for 2. Yuz tiger suplexes Hime and pins her.

Yuz kicks Rina in the body and chest. Yuz ends up on the apron. Rina and 2 other girls baseball slide her and Yuz goes out. Yuzuki Aikawa is eliminated.

Rina, Miyu and Hina trade forearms. Miyu takes a double suplex. Miyu flying knees her opponents in the corner and hits a double pendulum ddt for 2.  

Hina STO's Miyu then spinning drops her from her shoulder for 2. Miyu cradle ddt's Hina for 2. Hina rolls up Rina for 2. Hina does like a northern lights bomb to Rina. Hina misses a top rope splash then Miyu pins Hina. Hina is eliminated.

Miyu and Rina are the last two. They trade pin attempts. Miyu tornado ddt's her for 2. Rina does an abdominal stretch driver on Miyu for 2. Rina facekicks Miyu then gori bombs her for the pin. 

Thoughts: It was a longer bout. They mostly kept it moving though and interesting so it wasn't so bad. It was nice to see Yuzuki Aikawa return, though I'm still not over her retirement as I thought she had so much more to give. It had a lot of action, we had some comedy and Hime/Aikawa got to fight it out a bit in an idol battle. 

Rina talks on the mic after. Aikawa then says she will make a one night return against Hime in January.

Empress Nexus Venus (HANAKO, Maika & Xena) & Megan Bayne vs. Mi Vida Loca (Bozilla, Itsuki Aoki, Rina Yamashita & Suzu Suzuki) 

Aoki and Xena go at it. Aoki wristlocks her and side headlocks her. She headlock takeovers her. Xena hits chops and nails Rina on the apron. Aoki shoulders Xena over. Maika hair throws Xena then Aoki does the same. Boz shoulders over Xena. Boz's team then poses on Xena.

Maika shoulders throws Aoki then Aoki takes a Meg senton. Xena black hole slams Aoki for 2. Hana splashes Aoki on the ropes and running facekicks her. She then knee drops her. Aoki is shouldered over but skins the cat in. She then ddt's Hana. Rina comes in and double chops Hana down. She running knees her from behind on the ropes. Rina slams Hana.

Hana and Maika hit stereo corner attacks then do stereo facekicks. Rina takes a double team suplex backbreaker for 2. Meg flying dropkicks Rina then corner splashes her. Meg double underhook suplexes Rina for 2. 

Meg boots Rina in the head and then stands on her chin. Rina hits chops on Meg. Meg chest forearms her down. Rina enzugiri's her then backdrops her. Boz comes in and shoulder battles Meg. Boz headbutts her in the chest then shoulders her over.

Meg belly to belly overhead suplexes Boz. Boz powerbombs her for 2 then holds on for a sitout powerbomb for 2. Boz is on the 2nd rope and Meg hurricanrana's her down. Meg hits a big spear on Boz for 2. Meg goes up top and Boz 2nd rope fallaway slams her down. They then double lariat each other down.

Maika and Suzu go at it. Maika ducks shots. Suzu shoves her and they trade forearms. Suzu drops her with a forearm then Maika powerslams her. Xena botches a move on Suzu. Suzu takes a double torture rack bomb for 2. Maika lariats Suzu. Suzu hits a tequila shot on Maika for 2. Boz lariats Maika down. Maika takes a triple superkick. Suzu germans Maika for 2.

Suzu takes a doomsday device. Maika michinoku drivers Suzu. Meg lariats Boz then is suplexed. Everyone fights outside. Maika and Suzu block eac hother from going in. Meg stupidly does a tope at the 19 count and we go to a double countout.

Thoughts: The finish was dumb. We had 8 girls in this and not one could get back in. Meg was super dumb here as she dove out at 19. It was a bad finish to an otherwise good match. Meg and Boz had the best section of this and just made you want to see them fight so bad. Xena botched some here.

The girls then all fight after the bell.

Fuwa-chan vs. Hazuki

Fuwa kind of had her 15 minutes of fame, got in trouble with the media and is now going to be a regular wrestler. It's a win for both parties. Fuwa comes out with pink angel's wings and does karate.

The girls shake hands and lock up. Haz wristlocks her. Fuwa reverses it. Haz side headlocks her then Fuwa reverses it. Fuwa running dropkicks her three times then is dropkicked down. Haz facewash kicks her. Haz kneels on her chest and stomps her. Haz crabs her.

They trade forearms. Haz slaps and facekicks her. Fuwa running dropkicks her then slams her for 2. Haz suplexes her then sentons her. They trade forearms. Haz then allows her to hit forearms on her. Fuwa does an octopus on her and Haz rope breaks. Fuwa pump kicks Haz out of the ring.

Fuwa then plancha's her and a bunch of others outside. Fuwa suplexes Haz inside for 2. Haz rolls her into a double stomp off a german attempt. Haz boots her out of the corner and 2nd rope dropkicks her for 2. Haz crossfaces her and Fuwa ropebreaks.

Haz forearms her down. They fight up top. Fuwa 2nd rope superplexes her for 2. Fuwa shining wizards Haz for 2 multiple times. Fuwa rolls her up off a pump kick for 2. Fuwa germans her for 2. Haz pump kicks Fuwa for 2. Haz top rope sentons her and pins her.

Thoughts: It went a bit long. Fuwa did good here. She didn't botch anything and she looked better than she should have. This match could have been a disaster but they did well especially on a big stage like this. I'm looking forward to see what Fuwa can do. I think she's going to provide some entertaining moments and should fit in well. I liked this.

Haz talks on the mic after and thanks her. They bow to each other. Fuwa gets some chants and then talks on the mic. They talk more and hug.

Sareee vs. Natsupoi

They stare down. Poi spin kicks her in the gut and headhunters her. Poi goes up top and is thrown down onto the apron. Poi stands on the commentary table, Sare stands up top and they look at each other. 

They lock up and break on the ropes. Sare chops her and bangs Poi's head off the buckles. Sare hair throws her. Poi no sells it and hair throws her. Sare hair throws her again and foot chokes her. Poi rolls her into a double stomp then Sare does the same to her. Sare crabs her and Poi rope breaks. Sare pulls on her legs and Poi ropebreaks.

Sare stands on Poi's back. Sare kicks and boots her around. Sare suplexes her and indian deathlocks her. Sare foot chokes her on the ropes. Poi cartwheels on her into an armdrag and dropkick. Sare fisherman suplexes her for 2. They fight on the buckles. 

They get down and Poi dropkicks her. They each hit mounted forearms. Sare fisherman superplexes her. Sare top rope dropkicks her for 2. They each hit chest forearms. They then slap each other. Sare dropkicks her on the ropes then dropkicks her through the ropes. Poi superkicks her and germans her. Poi dropkicks her through the ropes. 

Poi top rope plancha's her outside. Poi top rope crossbodies her for 2. Poi goes for the armbar and Sare ropebreaks. Poi knees her in the arm. Sare gets her knees up on Poi's top rope cartwheel splash. Sare germans Poi. Sare forearms and clubs her down. Sare 2nd rope double stomps her. Sare then top rope double stomps her for 2. 

Poi corkscrew kicks her for 2. Poi top tope cartwheel splashes her for 2. Poi hits a ranhei variation then straightjacket germans her for 2. Poi misses a top rope cartwheel splash. Sare running double stomps her for 2. Sare backdrops her for 1. Sare hits a uranage for 2. Sare hits 3 more uranage's for 2.

Poi la magistral rolls her for 2. Poi superkicks her. Sare uranage's her and wins.

Thoughts: The first half was better than the 2nd half as they lost some of the hate and aggression by then. I liked this one. It was stiff. They threw each other around and there just wasn't a ton to complain about here. I thought it could have been a little better but what we got was good.

They slap hands and Sare hugs her after. 

Goddesses Of Stardom Title Match - HATE (Natsuko Tora & Ruaka) (c) vs. Cosmic Angels (Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara)

Hanan is on commentary for this.

Ava and Tora go at it. Aya hits chest forearms. Tora shoulders her over. The heels miss a double splash and are with dropkicks. The heels swat away 2nd rope dropkicks then crossbody the faces. The faces are thrown into the seats at ringside. 

Tora butt drops Aya in the ring and corner splashes her. Ruaka corner splashes her and stands on her. Aya hits chest kicks. Aya running dropkicks Tora in the knee then basement dropkicks her in the chest. Aya takes a double shoulderblock. Tora and Ruaka splash Aya separately for 2.

Tora hits chops and forearms on Aya. She then corner lariats her for 2. Tora samoan drops her for 2. Saya dropkicks Tora then Aya chest kicks Tora down for 2. Saya basement dropkicks Tora. Saya dropkicks both opponents in the corner then springboard twisting forearms Tora for 2.

Saya dropkicks Tora off a missed sliding lariat. Tora 2nd rope back body drops Aya then shoulders her over. Tora blocks Saya's spear. Tora gets a 2 count on her. Tora sentons Saya then running lariats her for 2. Ruaka comes in, corner lariats Saya, shoulders her over then sentons her for 2. Ruaka is rolled into a double basement dropkick. Saya elbow drops her. Aya 2nd rope dropkicks Ruaka. Aya triangles Ruaka. The heels double splash Aya for 2. Ruaka crossfaces Aya. Ruaka crossbodies Aya against the bottom rope for 2.

Ruaka straight punches Aya. Saya dropkicks Ruaka. Ruaka takes corner attacks and a chest kick from Aya for 2. Tora double lariats the faces. Saya top rope plancha's the heels outside. Aya then top rope plancha's the heels outside. Ruaka is dropped with a double team shot inside. Aya triangles Ruaka and Ruaka ropebreaks.

Aya hits high kicks on Ruaka. Saya 2nd rope dropkicks Ruaka. Aya high kicks Ruaka for 2. Aya top rope diving knees Ruaka for 2. Aya superkicks her then Saya spears Aya on accident. Aya takes a double superkick. Ruaka double arm chokeslams Aya for 2. Ruaka is flipped off the buckles onto Aya twice for 2.

Ruaka death valley drivers Saya. Ruaka and Tora hit stereo splashes off the top for 2 counts. Ruaka germans Aya. Aya trips her and crucifixes her for 2. Ruaka lariats Aya then germans her. Ruaka straightjacket germans her and pins her.

Thoughts: It went longer than it needed to and was kind of getting stale by the end. The heels mostly dominated this one and they built the match more towards a heel win. It was okay as both sides did what they were supposed to do here, but I think they could have chopped a large chunk of time off of this and not lost anything. It was kind of dumb to have the faces win the big tag league then lose here.

Ruaka and Tora talk on the mic after. They leave. Aya cries and screaming about losing. Saya cries as well and they leave together. 

Wonder Of Stardom Title Match - Konami (c) vs. Saya Iida

Saya's face is half painted in kabuki colors. 

The girls lock up. They break on the ropes and Saya side headlocks her. Saya shoulders her over. Kon knees Saya in the arm then PK's her. Saya is thrown out then sent into the seats. Kon is sent into the post. Saya lariats the post when Kon moves. 

Kon hammerlocks her in the ring and Saya ropebreaks. Kon knees Saya in the arm and stomps her arm into the mat. Kon stomps the arm. Kon elbows Saya's arm. Saya hits chest forearms and chops. Kon chest kicks her down for 2. Kon armbars her. Saya then suplexes her. Saya hits chops on Kon then flurries her. Saya duble chops her. Kon eye rakes her.

Saya shoulders Kon over. Saya hits a corner lariat then a 2nd rope diving shoulderblock on her for 2. Kon triangles Saya over the top rope. Kon top rope double stomps Saya's shoulder. Kon fisherman suplexes her for 2.  Kon hits chest kicks. Saya chops her in return. Kon eye rakes her and Saya double sledgehammers her. Saya lariats her. Kon high kicks her down. They trade chest forearms for regular forearms. Saya hits wild chops on her. Kon uraken's her. Kon then rolling armbars her.

Kon does a rings of saturn. Kon germans her for 2. Kon diving head kicks her off the top and flying knees her in the head for 2. Kon sleepers her. Saya side slams her. Saya is thrown off the top. Saya then 2nd rope powerslams Kon. Saya top rope diving lariats her. Saya then final cuts her.

Saya lariats her. Saya hits a corner splash. Kon escapes a muscle buster and Saya escapes her rolling armbar. Saya lariats her. Saya lariats her down for 2. Saya brainbusters her for 2. Kon sleepers her then grounds her wiht it. Kon germans her then half-nelson suplexes her for 2.

Kon rolling armbars her and Saya does a pin out of it. Saya then tries a bridge pin for 2. Kon high kicks her and buzzsaw kicks her. Kon then punts her in the face. Kon ties her legs up, hooks the head and pulls on her arm. Saya submits.

Thoughts: It was okay but it could have been better. We didn't really get the long arm work section this could have used and because of it, Saya didn't get the big comeback pop. Kon mostly stuck to various arm submissions here and ended up winning with one.

Kon talks on the mic after. Saya then talks on the mic. Saya offers a handshake. Kon shakes her hand, pulls her down and stomps the arm. Rina comes in and seems to want the next title shot. Kon offers a handshake, Rina slaps her hand and spits in her face. Rina walks off and Kon yells at her.

World Of Stardom Title Match - Saya Kamitani (c) vs. Saori Anou

They stare down. Anou shoves her. Saya bridges out of a kick and rolls her. Anou bridges out of a pin. Saya slides out twice then sits in a chair inside. Anou is tripped into the chair and dropkicked. Saya kicks Anou while she's down and boots her head. Saya stomps her. Saya does like a sharpshooter with the arm hooked.

Anou is tied up in the ropes and Saya foot chokes her. Saya axe kicks her then sends Anou into the seats. Saya chokes Anou with a chain and bangs her head off the seats. They go into the stands and trade forearms. Saya pulls her around with the chain and throws her down the steps.

They go to the apron and Anou germans her there. Anou hangs her with the chain over the top rope. Anou top rope plancha's her outside. Anou top rope dropkicks her then fisherman suplexes her. Anou heavenly locks her. Saya hits forearms on her in the corner.

Saya is on the 2nd rope and is fisherman suplexed down. Anou slides under her and gets double stomped. Saya spinning heel kicks her. Saya then springboard crossbodies her outside. Saya suplexes her on the floor. Saya northern lights suplexes her for 2. Anou back enzugiri's her. Anou hits triple germans for 2. Saya hurricanrana's her off the buckles. Saya is stuck on the 2nd rope and Anou hurricana's her off the buckles. They then pump kick each other down at the same time. 

They slap each other on their knees then stand up and slap each other. Anou lets Saya slap her around. Anou slaps her then Saya ki krushers her. Anou dragon suplexes her for 2. Anou spinning high heel kicks her and suplexes her for 2. Anou does a suplex with the arms captured for 2. Saya hurricanrana's her for 2. Saya corkscrew kicks her.

Saya hits boots to the face. Anou gets back up. Saya backrolls her into a backdrop then buzzaw kicks her. Saya's nose is busted open. Anou knees her in the face and does a german for 2. They facekick each other and Saya pump kicks her for 2. Saya ki krushers her for 2. Anou rolls her into a backslide with a bridge for 2.

Saya facekicks her and spinning ki krushers her for the win.

Thoughts: It had good intensity and stiffness but terrible selling. Nobody sold anything for more than a few seconds here which kept the pace going but made what went on meaningless. While it was jampacked full of action, I just didn't think it was a great match. It still had some enjoyability to it though.

They both talk on the mic after. Anou grabs her by the hair. Anou goes out, hugs Poi and Yuna and cries as she goes to the back.

Starlight Kid comes out and talks to Saya. They grab each other and Saya piefaces her. She headbutts her. Kid grabs her and they go head to head. Saya shoves her and Kid leaves. Saya then talks more on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: The opener was your usual rookies match. The tag match after was alright. I was fine with the Rumble Match and it was nice to see Yuzuki Aikawa back. The 8-girl tag had a dumb double countout finish. Fuwa-chan did a good job against Hazuki and I liked the match. Sareee/Poi was the best match of the night as it had a lot of stiffness and some hatred. The tag title match was okay but went long and got a little stale. Konami/Iida was also okay but could have been better. The main had terrible selling but lots of action and still was enjoyable. I'd give this a 7 out of 10 as nothing was truly awful here. It was a good show overall.

Killer Kelly is this week's guest. They talk about her becoming a mother. Kelly says she came back 7 months after having a kid and didn't expect to be back so quick. She says she was a champ while pregnant and didn't know. She says she did a deathmatch while pregnant. They say everyone asks about her kid. She says she was back in the ring 2 weeks after having her kid. Gia says she's a great role model and someone she admires most. 

Jody Threat vs Jada Stone

JT lariats her over for 1 to start. Jada hits a shotei. JT blocks her springboard headscissors then Jada sunset flips her. Jada brings out of a lariat and headscissors her down. Jada this running corner attacks. Jada misses a standing moonsault.

JT low crossbodies her and sentons her for 1. JT hits corner lariats on Jada. JT delay suplexes her. JT suplexes her again. JT stands on her on the bottom rope. JT elbow drops her for 2. JT crossfaces her.

Jada escapes a german and springboard diving headscissors JT. Jada codebreakers her then low diving lariats her. Jada standing moonsaults her for 2. Jada enzugiri's her off the buckles. JT backbreakers her then hits an F-5. Jody pins her.

Thoughts: Jody won as expected. The crowd didn't react that much to this and Jada was having trouble with that. Jody was a bit rough and nearly heelish here. I didn't think this was that good.

Overall thoughts: There was only one new match and one new interview here. Neither was that good and there's nothing you need to see here. You can skip this one.

WWE NXT North American Title - Ethan Page (c) vs Moose

Page hits Moose during intros and pounds on him in the corner. Moose rolling spears him. Moose goes into the steps outside when Page moves. Page's shoulder is pulled into the post. 

Page boots Moose out of the corner. Page kicks him from the buckles then neckbreakers him. We go to break and return. Page kicks him in the arm and the face. Moose suplexes him. Moose uranages him then sentons him. Page elbows him out of the corner and is hit with a sky high for 2. 

They trade forearms. Moose hits chops. Page high kicks him and hits lariats. Moose facekicks him and Page lariats him. Page jumping codebreakers him for 2. Page hits punches on Moose. Moose headbutts him. Page is sat up top and Moose dropkicks him down to the outside.

Moose spears him through the rails. Moose rolling spears him in the ring for 2. Page rolls out. Moose runs around the ring and is back body dropped on the stairs. Page hits a top rope splash for 2. Page hits a cutter on him and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like Moose losing here especially clean. There was no real reason for that. Moose did a good job of selling his arm. It was okay enough and they did try to make the most of this that they could.

We see the candidates for Male Superstar of the Year. Je'Von Evans somehow wins. Evans says he didn't expect to win but he got the W. He says it was a crazy year for him and talks about going to Vegas and Mexico. He says it was a crazy year for him and wait to see 2026. He says 2026 is about to get real bouncy. 

Thoughts: Oba or Trick should won this, not Evans. Evans didn't win anything this year except the Iron Survivor Challenge.

The Culling talk. Izzi complains about Tatum Paxley chasing them with a chainsaw. Izzi says they need to confront her now. Shawn says she doesn't understand what they have seen and says it's not the time. 

Kendal Grey is down in the back and Wren Sinclair calls for help. 

Izzi Dame is in the ring. She says she shouldn't of tried to turn Tatum's potential into something more. She says she has one bad day and goes back to her fantasy land where she plays with dolls. She says if she once looked t herself in the mirror, she would see the real reason of all her problems. She says she had to be the bad guy and break her heart. She says she did all that yet Tatum went after Niko and Spears. She says Tatum can't be fixed and nothing she does will scare her. She says she wasn't the villain, she was her cure. She says she saved her from rock bottom and put her back in it when she refused to evolve.

Tatum Paxley comes out. She says she learned so much from her. She says she was listening. She says she did care and felt everything. She says she's sorry...that she's just so insecure. She says she has to control people to feel good. She says she doesn't need friends like Izzi. She needs friends that have been there from the start like the fans. Tatum says she's in this for herself.

Izzi says it's a lie that Tatum was listening to herself. Tatum says when it's her time and she rots in the dirt, she says she will see the memory of her screaming over what she does to her next week. She says there will be no Spears, Niko, dolls or chainsaws, just the two of them. Izzi says playtime will be over. Tatum says Izzi isn't in control and it's not over until she says so. She ducks a shot from Izzi and hits a tequila shot on her.

The Tag Team of the Year is between Hank and Tank, Zaruca, The Culling and Darkstate. Zaruca somehow win. Zaruca talk. Sol says they've been together for a year and are happy to be the tag team of the year. Zaria says they are the tag team of the year and the best tag team in NXT. Zaria says it's just the beginning.

Thoughts: Hank and Tank should have won since they had the belts and won the NOAH tag titles while Zaruca won nothing.

Fatal Influence laugh about Wren being by herself as they head to the ring.

Jacy Jayne vs Wren Sinclair

Fatal Influence are with Jacy. Jacy armdrags her and shoulders her over. Jacy sentons her. Jacy then dances. Jacy backs her up on the ropes and calls her a loser. Wren shoves her and yanks on the arm. Wren armbreakers her. Jacy lariats Wren. 

Jacy beats up on Wren in the corner. Jacy short arm clotheslines her for 2. Jacy kicks her in the back then Wren rolls her up for 2. Wren hits a soul foot to the ribs. Wren elbows the arm and euros it. Wren kicks her in the arm. Wren cranks back hard on the arm.

Wren shoulders her over then does a sliding facebuster for 2. Wren spin kicks her in the gut. Jacy superkicks her. Wren is catapulted throat first into the 2nd rope. We go to break and return. 

Wren elbows Jacy in the gut and forearms her. Jacy neckbreakers her. Jacy is tripped into the ropes. Wren hits chops then lariats. Wren flying lariats her then double underhook suplexes her. Jacy pumping knees her for 2. Jacy is pulled into the buckles then Wren top rope crossbodies her.

Wren does cattle mutilation on her then armbars her. Jacy goes for a pumping knee and is rolled up. Jacy spinning forearms her and wins.

Thoughts: It was a kind of a basic match. It made sense and they did what they were supposed to but the match should have stood out more for their experience levels and for how much time this got.

Fatal Influence stomp Wren after. Kendal Grey comes out to make the save. She superkicks Jacy and forearms the other heels. She rolling armbars Jacy. The heels then get out of the ring. Grey holds up the women's title.

Joe Hendry practices singing in the back. Joe is told his guitar is set up in the ring for the concert.

 Joe Hendry comes out for his concert. Booker sings his own version of the song and it's something. Joe says it's been an amazing year for NXT and Joe Hendry. He says he won the TNA Title, was at The Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. He says he also slammed The Miz at SNME and joined NXT. He says he made a song to celebrate that. Joe says the women's division has been on fire, Evans has been bouncy, Ethan is miserable as an iguana stole his car. He says NXT was the show for him in 2025 and uses that as the chorus. He says Trick Williams was the champ for so long and is back to crying and releasing terrible songs. He says we thought Ricky Saints was cool and rich but he's a whiny b!tch since losing the title. We see Tony D'Angelo watching in the rafters. He says Darkstate will destroy the show and says no one knew who they were until he made them famous. The lights go out on him.

Darkstate appears in the stands. Joe gets jumped 4v1. Joe is thrown into a double powerbomb.

Ava talks to Robert Stone in the back and says make sure the rest of the awards are ready. Ava goes into her office and the door is open with Blake Monroe in it. Blake is crying. Ava says if she wants to win her title, The Glamour needs to show up. She says she knows she has it in her. Blake then walks off. 

Matt Cardona picks Leon Slater against Oba Femi. Elijah picks Leon. Arianna Grace picks Oba. Stacks picks Oba. Mike Santana picks Leon. Mara Sade picks Leon. Hank picks Oba and Tank picks Leon, they argue then swap picks. 

WWE Men's Speed Tournament Final - Tavion Heights vs Lexis King

Tav belly to belly suplexes King and pins him in 8 seconds. Vic says it's a record.

The NXT Match of the year is between Evans/Trick/Williams at Stand and Deliver, Sol/Kelani at Battleground, Page/Saints at The Great American Bash, Jacy/Lola at No Mercy, Oba/Evans at Fastlane and the The Women's Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline. Evans/Trick/Williams at Stand and Deliver wins.

Swipe Right (Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor) vs OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucian Price)

Brad leg kicks Price twice and hits him in the corner. RS is thrown into the bcukles and onto the apron. Price chops down Brad. Price shoulders RS. RS takes a double back elbow and Nima does a low lariat on RS. Nima throws RS on a backdrop.

Nima rib breakers Brad on his shoulder. Nima curbstomps Brad. Jackson Drake knees Nima in the back and is thrown in. RS clips Nima. Brad short ddt's Nima. Brad clubs on Nima. RS kicks the middle rope into Nima's face. Brad splashes Nima for 2 then hits downward elbows. 

Nima gordbusters Brad then lariats him. Price hits lariats on RS then flips Brad into a big chop. Price htis corner lariats on Swipe then uranage's Drake. RS takes a double team spinebuster and is pinned.

Thoughts: OTM actually got over for once which was nice. The crowd popped for Price's chops here. Swipe Right did some great bumping here and really helped this one get over.

Jordynne Grace talks to Thea Hail about Blake Monroe ruining her celebration. Thea talks about trying to make her more positive and asks her to be in her corner at New Year's Evil. She says she knows she wants to and wants to see Blake Monroe cry again. Thea hugs her and Grace says she doesn't like this hugging thing.

Female Superstar of the Year's nominees are Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, Tatum Paxley, Blake Monroe and Jacy Jayne. Sol Ruca wins. She does a promo. She says she became a double champ this year and says she was also successful with Zaria. She says she's proud of her and herself.

Thoughts: This was another unusual pick as Jacy should have won since she won the Women's Title and the TNA Knockout's Title. At least Sol was a better pick than Evans.

Ricky Saints vs Je'Von Evans

Evans hits punches on RS in the corner. RS fires back and clubs on him. Evans hits Terrale Tempo's viralplex and superkicks him for 2. RS kicks him in the knee and drives his knee into the mat. RS slams him. RS slams Evans' leg into the ropes. He clips him and stomps the leg.

RS slaps Evans down then throws him out. Evans is sent into the rails and breaks them. Evans' head is banged off the commentary table. Evans lariats him out then suicide dives him. Evans throws RS into the rails and bangs his head off the commentary table. Evans hits punches on him on the table. Evans springboard lariats him inside for 2. RS bangs Evans' chin off the apron. 

We go to break and return. RS guillotines him. Evans suplexes him. Evans superkicks him, flying forearms him and corkscrew kicks him off the ropes. RS facekicks him. Evans high kicks him. Evans tornado ddt's him and flying knees him for 2. Evans comes off the top and runs into a knee. RS tiger drivers him for 2.

RS goes out for some reason and Evans suicide dives him over the commentary table. Evans hits a top rope frogsplash for 2. Evans is tripped on the 2nd rope and RS gets a 2 count on him. RS spears him for 2. RS tornado ddt's him for 1. Rs jumps at him and is caught with a cutter. Evans tries a double jump cutter but ends up getting the ref with it. 

RS low blows him and hits a roshambo. RS pins Evans.

Thoughts: I never like working the leg matches on high flyers that much as it's hard to do both. Evans did try to sell it though. They did a lot with bumps into the rails and the commentary table. Both guys did their usual offense. It did have a bit more high spots than I expected here but this didn't fully do it for me.

Overall thoughts: The award winners were kind of bogus here with Trick and Jacy not winning. They definitely wanted faces to win the awards here. I didn't like Moose losing to Page in the opener. Jacy/Wren was somewhat basic and should have been better for their experience levels. OTM/Swipe Right was a lot better than I expected and Swipe Right really bumped well for their opponents. They tried in the main and Evans flew a lot but I didn't love it as much as others will. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as some of the decisions here were questionable and there was nothing too memorable on this.

Haley J vs Sirena Veil

SV pushes J off the lock up. J pulls her face down on the buckles and hits shots in the corner. J does a facewash in the corner. J slaps and backhands her. J superkicks her. Vipress comes out and J boots her off the apron. SV high kicks J and sends her into the post shoulder first.

Tim Storm joins the commentary team. He says he's sorry he's late. SV backdrops J for 2. SV hits shots on her and legsweeps her. SV sentons her for 2. SV does a choke on J and headbutts her. 

J is tripped into the buckles and takes a meteora to the back there. J gets a 2 count on her. SV hits Kawada kicks and J germans her. J sweeps her and meteora's her from behind. J shining wizards her then STO's her for 2. SV headbutts her. SV picks her up and throws her onto Vipress and security outside.

J beats the count in. J slaps her and does a bad curbstomp. J then wins.

Thoughts: It was a really random with one here. Vipress, who hasn't been on the show much came out then Tim Storm came out to do commentary, completely ignoring his run as Baron Von Storm. The bout in general was also random with the two only sometimes appear on the show. They did so many spinning moves here and most of them didn't look good. I didn't think this was good.

We see Matt Cardona arrive.

Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson do a promo. Karl says it's about time and says they are the world's famous Good Brothers. Doc says they don't call them The Good Brothers for nothing. Doc says they have captured the titles around the world and says tonight it'll be a magic killer, a 1-2-3 and a "just too sweet".

Mims does a promo. He says he has two jobs. The first is to keep the gate and he decides if you are in or out. 

Mims says Pope found the hard way that he's out. He says his other job is to be on top of the mountain. He says he needs to get there. He says the champ isn't made out in the ring, it's in your head. He says he needs to slay a dragon to start that journey. He says everything is possible. He says El Dragon Nihan is big but the job always gets done.

The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) vs The Hard Way (Dalton McKenzie and Jack Vaughn)

DM hits shots on Karl's gut to start. Karl chops and punches him. DM rams him in the corner. Karl hits chops and punches then Dm does the same. Karl dropkicks DM in the knee. Jack clubs on Karl. Karl chops and punches Jack.

Doc comes in. Jack clubs him and tags out. Doc goes through a double clothesline and hits his own double clothesline. Doc hits punches on DM in the corner. DM trips Karl and hits mounted shots. Jack foot chokes Karl then eye rakes him. 

Karl is thrown hard into the buckles and goes down. DM shoulders Karl over. DM hits corner spears on Karl. Jack bearhugs Karl then drops him off the side slam. Karl boots him out of the corner. Doc is tagged in. Doc lariats Jack then facekicks him. Doc high kicks him then running lariats him. Doc superkicks DM then slams Jack down.

Jack takes corner attacks then a neckbreaker + backdrop combo for 2. DM blocks a magic killer on Jack. DM dropkicks Doc in the corner. Doc blocks a hart attack. Karl ddt's DM. Jack is hit with a magic killer and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout here. Dalton looked good in this. It was nothing too special but fine for what it was. I think The Hard Way would fit in fine here as regulars.

The Paige Sisters and Tommy Henry talk. Ken says Joe Cazana has abused his power. Kylie says Joe's pigs will feel the wrath of them. Kylie says they will beat them within an inch of their lives. Kenzie says they got caught in the crossfire.

We get a video on Thom Latimer vs Silas Mason. 

Mike Mondo does a promo on Wrecking Ball Legursky. He says he's big and tall and massive but asks what happens when it faces strength and power. He says he will crumble him to the ground and show everyone that muscle is greater than mass. He says it's Mondo Time and gut check time.

Empty Arena Match - Hunter and Tyler Franks vs Nightmare Syn (Frank and Zyon)

Ausitin Idol is with the heels. Joe Cazana is on commentary and is with his sons.

Everyone fights to start and pairs off. TF is double teamed in the corner. TF takes a double shot to the gut then is stomped on by both. Hunter springboard double dropkicks the heels. He tries to tope Frank but is caught and sent into the post. Frank is pushed into the post by TF. TF does a bad flipping neckbreaker off the bottom rope onto Zy.

Zy flying knees TF from behind. TF's head is banged off the steps. Hunter's head is banged off seats. Frank throws a chair at TF's head then bangs his head off the buckles. Zy euros TF outside then Hunter topes the heels. Hunter pounds on Frank while he's down. Frank's head is banged off a chair. Frank throws a chair at Hunter's head.

TF is double clubbed on by the heels then Austin Idol punches TF. Idol then punches Hunter down. Zy fist drops TF. Zy stomps him and Hunter. TF takes a double suplex in the ring then Hunter takes one too. 

Frank chokes Hunter with a chair. TF dropkicks a chair into Frank's face. Zy misses a corner charge and goes into a chair between the buckles. TF low blows Frank. Hunter 2nd rope diving bulldogs Frank on a chair for 2. Zy is double teamed by the faces. Hunter punches Zy with a chain and jumping kicks him. Zy takes a top rope double stomp + magic screw. KC Cazana jumps on the apron. TF is choked slammed on the apron by Frank.

Hunter comes off the top and is hit with a knee to the face. Frank double arm sitout chokeslams Hunter and pins him.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was No DQ as promised. Hunter got beaten up as usual, taking chair shots to the head and he flew some here. Frank was the muscle in this and Zyon didn't get to do that much. It would have been better with a crowd though.

Daisy Kill does a promo. DK welcomes Matt Cardona back. He says he's on top of the world, making tons of money and is the man. He says he thinks he can just come back and walk through the grass and step over the little ones. He says Matt needs to be careful as he might step on a snake. He says all of Matt's fame, glory and accomplishments are in Kill's grasp. Kill says it'll be a good time tonight.

The Slimeballz, The Drake's and Aron Stevens do a promo. Drake says The Devil came down to Georgia and chose them. Carson says he doesn't want to do a casket match as he's too rich and pretty to die. He says The Lost should get lost. Sage says he should stick a stake through their eyes and Aron says to stick a bar of soap on his shopping list. Aron says James Mitchell is trying to play the psychological game. Aron says they are too young and pretty to be in a casket. Aron says The Lost dug their own grave and sealed their own fate. Aron says The Slimes do need a bar of soap though.

Matt Cardona vs Daisy Kill

This is another random one here. Matt hasn't been on this show in a while. Matt goes to lock up and slides out. DK then slides out and stalls. They then compete for cheers by posing on the ropes.

DK spinebusters Matt for 2. DK hits punches on Matt outside. He punches him from the apron and Matt kicks the rope into his crotch. Matt hits a leg lariat for 2. Matt argues with the ref and is rolled up. Matt lariats DK. Matt hits mounted punches. 

Matt is tripped into the buckles. Matt hits another leg lariat and wins.

Thoughts: This was lame. Daisy Kill's a decent talent and he got jobbed out here quick.

Matt talks on the mic and says to show him some respect. He says the fans and NWA don't respect him. Matt says Billy Corgan doesn't respect him. He says he deserves to be the champ. Matt says he was never pinned, never gave up and calls out Billy Corgan.

Eric Smalls comes out with a chair then Billy Corgan follows. Billy welcomes him back. He says the last time Matt was here, he told him to go to hell. He says he cursed his name, family and prayed his wife would divorce him. He says he probably disgraced the brand with his behavior but it wasn't worth it. He says he owes him an apology and says he's sorry. 

He says Matt is a former NWA champ and deserves respect.

Billy says he hears him. He said he underestimated as a slimy carny. He says he is apologizing to him and says no one has done more for wrestling than Matt in the last two years. Billy says he promises him that the next time he stands in the ring, it'll be for the title. He tells him to accept his apology but says he wants to hear what he has to say before he shakes his hand.

Matt says he didn't expect any of that. He says it takes a big man to apologize to him. He says he said some nasty things to him back. He says he will hold Billy to getting another shot at the title. He says let's shake on it and says it's the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Matt says Billy is the greatest boss ever as he leaves.

Thoughts: Like most things in this company, it wasn't really built up to much and didn't work. I don't know what Matt and Billy did or said since they didn't explain it, so this didn't do a lot for me. Having Billy out here was a bad idea since he's currently no longer the president of his own company due to Joe Cazana yet said nothing about it.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual NWA Powerrr show. We had a lot of random stuff that I doubt will ever be followed up on. The opener had Vipress interfere in the Haley J/Veil match for no real reason then Tim Storm came out and no sold his past as Baron Von Storm. The Good Brothers had an okay match with The Hard Way. I liked the empty arena match. Daisy Kill got jobbed out in the main then Billy Corgan and Matt Cardona talked after. We did get some build for some future matches though which was good. There was no Bitcrush this week or any news on the inheritance money. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 and thought it was average.

We are in Poughkeepsie, NY. Jim Ross and Gorilla Monsoon are on commentary. This place has all kinds of Monday Night Raw banners all over it.

The announcers hype up the show.

Yokozuna vs "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan

This is a somewhat of a rematch from a while back. There was a challenge between these two and Yoko put Duggan out after. Yoko has Mr. Fuji with him as usual.

Jim hits Yoko from behind and hits a bunch of punches. Jim grabs his 2x4. The ref takes it and Yoko hits uppercuts on him. Yoko chops him on the ropes. Fuji trips Jim. Yoko stomps on Jim and foot chokes him. Fuji chokes Jim with his flag. 

Yoko headbutts Jim down and throws him out. Jim fires up outside. Jim hits some punches and Yoko drops him with a punch. Yoko legdrops Jim. Yoko bearhugs him. Jim fights his way out. Jim goes for a slam but Yoko falls on him for 2.

We go to break and return. Yoko bearhugs him. Jim hits punches and bites Yoko's nose. Yoko shoves him down. Yoko chokes him in the corner. Jim hits punches. Yoko boots him in the gut. Yoko misses a corner charge. Jim hits punches and lariats Yoko. 

Jim hits flying lariats and drops Yoko. Fuji trips Jim. Yoko corner splashes Jim from behind then banzai drops him. Yoko pins him.

Thoughts: Yoko got the win as expected. I liked the match. Jim sticks to the basics so it doesn't get super exciting but he sold, made his comebacks and was a solid face here. The crowd was super hot for this.

Yoko goes for another banzai drop after but refs come down and get Jim out of there.

Vince McMahon interviews Yoko, Jim Cornette and Fuji in the back. Jim says Yoko was never asleep and has always been a beast. He says he's a rapid animal, a mad dog and he's ready to chew up Lex. Jim says Lex asked for this match and says the actions Lex took will be on him. Jim says Yoko has no conscious. Jim says Lex will beg Yoko to stop at Summerslam and Jim will tell him he can't. He says he will ask Fuji to stop him and Fuji will say he can't stop the beast. He says Lex will look in the eyes of the devil and says his career will be finished. Jim then says the heartbeat of America will be silenced.

Razor Ramon vs Blake Beverly

BB has white trunks with purple stars on it and he is now clean shaven. Razor has armbands on in support of Lex.

Razor gets big pops from the crowd. Razor throws a toothpick in BB's face. BB backs up RR in the corner and slaps him around. BB boots him and chops him in the corner. RR chops him in the corner. BB goes out to stall and RR chases him.

BB stomps him as he gets in. BB side headlocks him. RR takes him down by the hair. BB goes for a test of strength and boots him in the gut. RR hits punches and discus punches him. BB back body drops RR over the top.

BB takes off a turnbuckle pad. BB neckbreakers him. RR is sent into the exposed buckle. BB backbreakers him. BB powerslams him for 2. BB does a cocky cover and RR tries a pin. BB then lariats him.

RR's head is banged off the buckles. BB is sent into the exposed buckles. RR does a razor's edge on BB and pins him.

Thoughts: I liked it and thought it was a good match. Blake did a lot of basic cheap heel tactics but they worked. He showed some personality and bumped well. RR got the win as expected here and the crowd is definitely into his new face role. 

We see Lex Express clips.

Jerry Lawler is with an Elvis impersonator in a pink convertible. Lawler says we have 2 kings here. King says the car is the real deal and fake Elvis says he bought this in 1959 for his momma. King says Bret's mom was 70 years old by then and they laugh. Fake Elvis says he's seen people impersonate him his whole life. He says he just had dinner the other day with JFK and they talked about dating Marilyn Monroe. Fake Elvis asks how King feels when he sees Bret impersonate a king. King says it makes his blood boil. He says it won't work. He says there's only one king in the WWF and Bret is looking at it.

Bret Hart says Jerry Lawler has crossed lines no one else has crossed before. He says he hates when people try to drag his family into things as it is too personal. He says it's impossible to describe how much anger he will take out on him. He says Summerslam will be a mutilation. He said he told his parents not to come to Summerslam but they want to see Bret destroy Jerry. Bret says his family and friends will be scattered all over Summerslam. He said King make a big mistake in dragging his family into it and will pay. He says King will always be a bogus and phony king.

Tatanka & The Smoking Gunns (Bart Gunn & Billy Gunn) vs. Barry Horowitz, Reno Riggins & The Brooklyn Brawler

The faces have Lex armbands on. Barry and Reno have matching green and black gear on.

Billy and Barry go at it. Billy side headlocks him and hammerlocks him. They trade hammerlocks. Barry eye pokes him. Billy boots him in the head then Japanese armdrags Reno. Bart comes in and hiptosses Reno. Brawler comes in and Bart trips him into an armlock. Tat top rope chops Brawler's arm.

Tat powerslams Brawler and armlocks him. Brawler boots Billy in the gut. Barry northern lights suplexes Billy for 2. Brawler neckbreakers Billy for 2. Reno side slams Brawler for 2. Billy cradles him for 2. Barry jawbreakers Billy and knee drops him.

Brawler hit a hard lariat on Billy then stomps him in the gut. Reno eye rakes Billy. Billy sunset flips him for 2. Reno eye rakes him. Billy is double teamed in the corner. The announcers say the faces don't look sharp here. Barry forearms Billy. 

Brawler eye pokes Billy and rakes his eyes on the top rope. Billy flying forearms Reno. Tat is tagged in. He drops the jobbers multiple times. The Gunns hit double dropkicks. Tat back body drops Reno. Tat chops Brawler then top rope crossbodies Reno to win.

Thoughts: This was a reverse squash here. The faces got beaten up for most of this before winning. Even the announcers acknowledged that the faces didn't do well here. It was nice to see a somewhat competitive match but it did nothing for the faces.

We see more Lex Express clips.

Mean Gene interviews The Undertaker (without Paul Bearer) in the ring. Gene asks what the rules are for the Rest in Peace match. Taker says a day of reckoning where you have to pay for your actions is coming at Summerslam for Giant Gonzalez. He says Giant tried to destroy what can't be destroyed. He says he has no Paul Bearer and no urn, he has the power from the creatures of the night. Taker says he will extract every living organ Giant has. He says before the night is finished, he will posess the soul of one Giant Gonzalez.

Giant Gonzalez and Harvey Wippleman come out. Giant says this time Taker won't get up. He says he will rest in peace this time. Taker takes his jacket off and Giant walks out with Taker ready to fight. Taker follows Giant as Giant leaves.

We get more Lex Express clips.

WWF Intercontinental Title Match - Shawn Michaels (c) vs. Bob Backlund

The WWF has pretty much given up on Bob at this point. He hasn't done much of note lately. I can't say I blame them as Bob looks so dated in the ring. This is a random bout though SM has been defending his title a lot lately.

They lock up and SM slams Bob twice. SM lays on the top rope. Bob does an armdrag, a hiptoss and a slam. Bob backslides him for 2. SM then slides out. SM spits at him and Bob chases him around the ring. We go to break and return.

SM hits punches on Bob. SM double axe handles him off the buckles then front facelocks him. Bob puts him on the top rope and slaps him. Bob back body drops him then dropkicks him. Bob hits a swinging neckbreaker for 2. Bob atomic drops him. Diesel gets on the apron and the ref is distracted.

SM grabs Bob's tights, takes him down and pins him.

Thoughts: The finish was poor here with Shawn winning solely by taking him down by grabbing the tights. Bob hit a nice dropkick here and I was surprised to see him bust out the swinging neckbreaker. It was short and there really wasn't that much action here. I didn't enjoy this that much.

Lex Luger talks more about his life. He says he was around 235 coming out of high school and the same height. Lex talks about Don Reinhoudt teaching him how to weightlift. 

Lex says it's a responsibility to be a famous athlete and you will have people looking up to you. He says you have to keep that in mind. Lex takes conducting himself in public seriously. Lex says to never let anyone tell you that you can't do something. He says you might not always succeed but try your best at all times.

Vince McMahon talks to Ludvig Borga in the back. Borga talks in his language. Vince asks him to speak English and Borga calls the fans stupid Americans. He says it'll be the last Summerslam for Marty Jannetty. He says he will fight Marty and the whole Us at the whole time. He says he will give him pain he never had before that won't go away. He says he's not here for titles but just wants to destroy everybody. 

Marty Jannetty vs Duane Gill

They lock up. Gill armlocks him. MJ arm wringers him then armdrags him into an armlock. MJ monkey flips him into an armlock. MJ spinning headscissors him then armdrags him into an armlock. MJ tries to flip out of a back body drop but falls. He rolls him up for 2 and superkicks him.

MJ back body drops him. MJ snapmares him and chinlocks him. MJ 2nd rope diamond dusts him. MJ top rope fist drops him and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't the best MJ squash here as he botched a back body drop landing. I liked him doing an early diamond dust variation though. They talked all about Jannetty/Borga at Summerslam here which MJ is certain to lose.

Summerslam Report

Mean Gene says Aaron Neville will sing the national anthem at Summerslam. Gene talks about the card but doesn't really have any new news. 

WWF World Tag Team Title Steel Cage Match - The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner & Scott Steiner) (c) vs. Money Inc. (Irwin R. Schyster & Ted DiBiase)

Money Inc has lost a few times already to The Steiner's so this is make or break here. This has escape the cage rules as both members of a team need to exit to win. Why they did this here and not at Summerslam is unknown.

Ted is clubbed on by the faces. IRS goes to climb the cage but kind of has to stall before he is pulled down. The faces go for him then Ted tries to climb out. The cage is rather shaky here. Scott works on Ted and bangs his head off the cage. The faces climb the cage but get stopped. Ted backdrops Scott. IRS back elbows Rick.

The heels climb the cage. Ted's trunks get pulled down. The faces grab IRS by the tie as he climbs the cage. Scott hits mounted corner punches on IRS. Rick's head is banged off the cage. Scott is crotched on the top rope. Ted climbs the cage and Rick crotches him on the top of the cage. 

Scott goes to escape and is stopped up top. Ric clubs IRS and Scott makes it over the top of the cage. Ted grabs Scott and does a very awkward suplex to bring him back in. Rick is held for shots from Ted. Ted back elbows Rick. Scott is double teamed. Rick is pulled down off the cage.

Scott climbs the cage. IRS follows him. Rick then goes up and Ted grabs him at the same time. IRS superplexes Scott down. Rick is pulled down by Ted. We go to break and return. The heels are climbing the cage. IRS is suplexed down. Scott bangs Ted's head off the top of the cage. The faces climb the cage. Scott makes it over the top. The heels pull Scott's throat over the cage rung. Scott is pulled back in. Rick lariats IRS. Scott is hurting up top.

Scott makes it over the top again and IRS uses his tie to hold him. Rick is hanging upside down on the cage and is pulled down. Scott hangs IRS by the tie. Scott is over the top and Ted pulls him back in.

Ted is on the top rope and clubs Scott. Scott electric chairs IRS and IRS hits him to escape that hold. Ted and Rick are sent into each other. IRS and Scott climb at the same time. They both escape the cage. 

Rick and Ted are left in the cage. IRS climbs back in and blocks Rick from escaping. Scott then tries to climb back in. Scott gets on top of the cage and double axe handles IRS. The heels' heads are banged together. Rick climbs the cage and Ted pulls him down by his headgear. Ted chokes Rick with a tie. 

We go to break and return. Scott has escaped the cage again but now Rick is double teamed. Ted backbreakers Rick. Scott gets back in the cage and Rick is double clotheslined. IRS climbs the cage and escapes. Ted goes to escape but he gets grabbed by the foot. IRS pulls on Ted's arm at the same time. Ted's trunks get pulled down again and he is back in the cage.

Ted is hanging upside down on the ropes and is booted. IRS climbs back in as The Steiner's climb the cage together. IRS blocks The Steiner's. Ted atomic drops Scott. Rick climbs the cage and escapes. 

Scott is 2v1'd inside. IRS chokes Scott with his tie. Scott double lariats the heels. Rick cheers on Scott from outside the cage. IRS tries to climb out of the cage. Rick electric chairs him from the outside. IRS has not escaped. Ted climbs out. Ted clubs Rick to try and break the electric chair. Scott then climbs out while Ted does this. The Steiner's win!

Thoughts: This was great.Tag team and 6-man escape the cage matches are pretty rare but the few times I have seen them, they have been good. It's a fun match because it has a lot of strategy to it. Do you escape and leave your partner to face a 2v1? Or do you let your opponents escape and double team your opponent? 

The shaky cage oddly helped this one. It looked dangerous with the way it shook and you could clearly see the wrestlers hanging on for dear life. The wrestlers also started actually getting tired climbing the cage which helped with the selling and drama. It was like watching a real life see-saw play out as the second someone would get the advantage, they'd end up giving the other team the advantage in return. The finish was great. IRS was nearly out but Rick electric chaired him to block him touching the ground. Ted then went after Rick to help IRS and Scott escaped in the meantime. This was a classic and one of the best bouts of year. You've gotta see this one.

As I said earlier, this kind of has to be the end of Money Inc. They've lost multiple times now and have no obvious path back to the tag titles. They haven't fought The Smoking Gunns or Men on a Mission though, so there are still some fresh matchups.

We go back to the announcers who talk about Raw and Summerslam. We then see a Lex Luger rap video by Macho Man and Men on a Mission. 

Overall thoughts: The commentary was really good here. We had two GOAT's with Ross and Gorilla and they worked well together. We had a good opener with Duggan/Yoko. Blake Beverly worked his butt off and did well with Razor. The trios match was odd with the jobbers getting more in than the face did. Shawn/Backlund was short and not much. Jannetty won an easy squash. We then had a classic tag team cage match with The Steiner's vs Money Inc. that was a must see affair. This was a great special mostly due to the main and the commentary that really made you want to see Summerslam. Lex continuing to not be on any TV is odd though and he should have been out in front of the crowd. I'd give this a 7 out of 10. Go check out the tag team cage match.

We are in Orlando, Florida. Joe  Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive. Austin Theory comes with The Vision and Logan Paul. They all come out to talk. Heyman says CM Punk could have been here with this group but listened to the fans instead of him. Paul says this is the moment you will look back on in 5 years and see that all the Wrestlemania main eventers are standing here right now. Heyman says Austin Theory is the newest member of The Vision.

Theory says he's been waiting his entire career for this moment. Theory says he has a lot of things to talk about. He says Bron is the next champ. Heyman says the group's goals outweighs the needs of anyone in the group.

CM Punk comes out. Punk says Austin is already drinking gallons of the Kool Aid this soon. Punk says he's out here for Bron. Punk says his mind is on Bron. He says The Vision could beat him up, but then there's no title shot on 1/5. Punk says he likes to look a man in the eye before he puts him to sleep. Punk wants to speak to him face to face. Punk asks if he's scared.

Bron tells him to come in and says they won't hurt him. The Vision leaves Bron alone with Punk in the ring. Bron says they are here as they look towards the future and see things with the same lens. He puts over his stablemates. He says he's tired of people saying he will figure it out someday as he says he's the now. He says he's tired of him saying his partners will drop him when he loses. 

Bron tells him to find someone in the locker room who did what he did as quick as he did and was born into this business. He says to find someone who is more of a dog than him. He says Punk things everything was handed to him. He says he doesn't know him and says everything was put under a microscope. He says he was sharing the field with Lamar Jackson while Punk was paying dues in the indies. He says they are both willing to die for the title and he will let Punk die. He says he will put him in the ground and become the new champ. 

Punk says Bron's mistake was assuming what he'd say. Punk says Bron is more ready than anyone he has seen and more ready than anyone else in the Vision. Punk says he's not ready. Punk puts the title down and tells Bron to pick the title up. He says it's heavier than he thinks and it's a privilege to carry the strap. He says he's not ready to let it go. Punk says he's not ready to stop being champ. He says we aren't the same - one of us is CM Punk. He says someday he will run out of gas and it's not January 5th. He says someday someone will beat him for the title but it ain't gonna be Bron. He says he will see him January 5th and pushes him.

Thoughts: And this is why Punk is champ. His matches might not be the best, he might not look the best, but he can talk and he put over the big title match well. 

Raquel Rodriguez is interviewed by Jackie Redmond. RR says there will be no tricks tonight and no one will get in the way of her getting what's hers. Liv Morgan walks in. She says The Judgment Day needs her to take care of business because she is the champ. RR says she can handle tonight alone. Liv mentions Roxanne. Roxanne then walks in. She says they all want RR to become champ. Roxanne wishes RR luck and RR says she doesn't need luck. 

Women's World Title - Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Nikki Bella vs Raquel Rodriguez

The girls yell at each other and Bella shoves both. RR shoves Bella over then gets pushed into her. SV rolls up RR for 2. Bella running forearms SV. Bella running dropkicks RR outside. SV is sent into the rails and RR is sent into the steps.

We go to break and return. SV hits shots to RR's gut. Bella's crossbody off the top is caught by RR and RR fallaway slams her. RR gori specials SV. RR shoulders her over. RR then tries a pin on SV. SV sunset flips her for 2. SV suplexes Bella. RR kicks SV as she goes for the devil's kiss.

Bella is thrown out. SV headbutts RR. Bella bangs RR's leg over the middle rope. SV top rope crossbodies RR. SV is sent into the 2nd buckle. Bella STF's RR. RR leglocks her. SV then hits RR with the devil's kiss with the hold on. SV hits a meteora on RR in the corner. SV dragon screws Bella then RR. RR knocks her opponents down on the apron. 

We go to break and return. SV triangles RR over the top rope and Bella dropkicks her. Bella sunset bombs RR off the buckles, who superplexes SV. Bella gets 2 counts on both. RR facekicks SV. Bella rolls up RR for 2. Bella's headscissors is blocked. Bella 2nd rope spinning kicks RR. SV hits a double underhook codebreaker on Bella for 2.

SV jawbreakers and superkicks RR. SV cradles her for 2. RR misses and elbow drop off the buckles and Bella gets a 2 count on RR. RR one arm powerbombs Bella. SV rolls RR out and SV pins Bella.

Thoughts: It had some sloppy moments but still went a bit better than I expected. It wasn't awful. Bella losing leaves her without a ton of options so I hope they have something in mind for her. 

Gunther is interviewed. He says he made John Cena tap out. R-Truth comes up to Gunther. He says he disrespected Cena and made him tap out. He says it makes Gun a piece of .... to say the same thing each time out. He threatens him if he does it again and Gun laughs at him. Gun says he will see him in the ring.  

The Kabuki Warriors are in the ring. Asuka says she beat Rhea Ripley last week. She says the crowd are stupid babies and are baka. Sane says the same thing. Sane says Iyo should have never upset her. Asuka yells at her and takes her mic. She says Iyo and Rhea paid for their disrespect last week as no one is ready for The Kabuki Warriors.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky then come out. The Kabuki's then slide out. Rhea and Iyo follow and they all fight. Rhea superkicks Asuka. Sane rams Iyo into the commentary table edge. Asuka throws Iyo over the rail. Iyo pushes Sane off the top. Rhea up kicks Asuka from the mat and headbutts Sane. Rhea and Iyo kick the heels and send them out. 

CM Punk and Rey Mysterio talk in the back. Rey says he has Punk's back. Rey says Punk has a title to protect next week.

Gunther vs R-Truth

RT hits punches on Gun to start. He forearms him in the corner and boots him. Gun chops him down. Gun slams him. RT hits punches and is chopped down again. RT gets on Gun's back with a sleeper. Gun chops him down again. Gun lariats him twice. Gun does the "you can't see me taunt". 

RT hits flying shoulders on Gun then Gun facekicks him. Gun powerbombs him then hits downward elbows. Gun then taps him out with a grounded choke.

Thoughts: It was a quick one as expected. RT got a little in before going down. It was okay for what it was.

The Uso's talk in the back. Jimmy asks if Jey is ready to get the tag titles back tonight. Jimmy asks if he's alright and says he needs him locked in. Jey says he feels like nothing has been going right his way. He says it's one thing to put him in a bad spot and another to put his brother in it. Jimmy says the bad spot is in Jey's head. Jimmy says he needs Jey and puts him over. Jey says he's okay. 

We get an Oba Femi video.

Je'Von Evans talks to AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Evans says good luck tonight. Evans says he doesn't know what he's doing here but Mr. Pearce wanted to talk to him. AJ says to tell him Leon and Evans took them to their limits. AJ says maybe they can run it back. Los Americano's come in. Grande talks in Spanish. Evans says he respects them but isn't running away. Lee then talks in Spanish. Grande then talks in Spanish. Evans says he doesn't know what he said.

Heyman and Logan talk to Theory in the back. Heyman says it's his big night and welcomes him to The Vision. Bron then welcomes him too. Austin says he has Bron's back and acknowledges the tribal thief. Logan says he's not the most humble guy but Heyman says he is. Logan says he's one of the biggest stars and greatest stars. He says his first day on The Vision, he was nervous. He says Austin did great out there and says they all got his back. Austin says he has their back. Heyman tells Logan to take Austin out to the ring and eliminate a Mysterio. Heyman says it'll be bonding and quality time.

Rey Mysterio vs Austin Theory

AT backs up Rey in the corner and lariats him. Rey is thrown into the buckles and goes down hard when he's not supposed to. AT backbreakers him. Rey back elbows him and boots him out of the corner. Rey 2nd rope headscissors him. AT back elbows him. Rey's head is banged off the buckle and he jawbreakers AT.

Rey is tripped into the buckles. AT rolls into a hurricanrana from Rey. Rey is caught off the apron then is sent into post and powerbombed on the apron. We go to break and return. Rey is in tree of woe and is booted. AT misses a corner charge and goes into the buckles face first. Rey top rope la silla's him. Rey headscissors him. 

Rey hits mounted corner punches. AT superkicks him. AT hits knees to the gut and torture rack's Rey. Rey turns it into a ddt for 2. Rey headscissors him then 619's him. Rey goes to springboard and Logan trips Rey in front of the ref. Austin is DQ'd.

Thoughts: Rey looked like he got hurt here off the corner bump. Austin tried but the crowd wasn't that into him. What we got of this was acceptable before the bad finish.

The heels beat up Rey after. Penta comes out to save Rey. Penta headscissors Austin then helps Rey headscissors Logan. Rey 619's Logan then Penta lariats Logan over the top.

Rhea and Iyo do a video. Rhea says Asuka is delusional. She says Asuka is the one who is disrespectful. She says she will break Asuka next week. Iyo says Sane is lost and it's too late for her. She says she chose the wrong path. Iyo says she is stronger than Asuka. She says they will teach them a lesson in respect next week when they become tag champs.

Maxxine Durpi comes out to talk. She says she wouldn't be here in the ring with the belt if it wasn't for the fans. She says Becky Lynch can keep running her mouth but can't deny she tapped out last week. Max says she isn't letting go of the title.

Becky Lynch comes out. Becky says she didn't tap out. She says she only tapped out to living in Orlando. Becky says if you get rich and famous someday, you can move out of here too. Max gets a shot in and Becky says she didn't come to start a fight, she came to finish it. 

Becky says Max got a tiny bit better and was able to steal a title from her. Max says she earned this title and will make her realize it next week. Max says she will still be IC champ after their match. Becky says 4 weeks in The Dungeon won't make up for what Becky has done. She says it's never over until she wins and she always wins. She asks if Max will be everything the fans think she is or everything Becky knows she is. She says welcome to the big time.

Trick Williams and Adam Pearce talk in the back. Adam wants to get more Trick on Monday's and gives him his card.

Lyra and Bayley walk in. Lyra asks about being part of the tag title picture. Lyra says they want the winners of the next women's tag title match. Adm brings up Liv and Roxanne. Lyra says they want next.

World Tag Titles - AJ Styles and Dragon Lee (c) vs The Uso's (Jimmy and Jey Uso)

AJ and Jey go at it. AJ waistlocks him. Jey escapes and uppercuts him. AJ dropkicks him. Jey takes a double back elbow. Jimmy takes a double hiptoss. Lee then flying headscissors Jimmy out. Jimmy crotches himself on the landing. We go to break and return.

Jimmy side headlocks Lee. Lee blocks a sunset flip and does a double stomp. Lee running dropkicks Jimmy in the corner for 2. AJ chops Jimmy. AJ hits forearms. Jey cheapshot enzugiri's AJ from the apron. AJ's legs are split. Jey stomps AJ's gut.

Jimmy bends over and is kicked. Lee tags in. Lee flying headscissors Jimmy. Lee hits combinacion cabron on Jimmy. Jimmy spinning enzugiri's Lee. Jey comes in and Lee wraparound sitout powerbombs Jimmy, just barely. Jimmy sends Lee into the steps. Jimmy clears off the commentary table. AJ flying forearms Jimmy off the steps. Jey topes AJ.

We go to break and return. Jey pulls Lee over to his corner. Jimmy chops Lee in the corner. Jimmy is in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him. AJ and Jey get in. AJ hits a strike combo on him, a corner lariat and an ushigoroshi for 2. Jey superkicks Lee off the ropes. Jey spears AJ. Jimmy tags in and top rope splashes AJ for 2.

Jimmy is on the 2nd rope and is dropkicked. Lee tope con hilos Jimmy through the ropes and powerbombs himself on the commentary table. AJ rolls up Jey for 2. Jey superkicks him. AJ pele kicks him. AJ hits a styles clash on Jey for 2. 

Jey is laid on the top rope and Lee top rope double stomps him. jimmy superkicks Lee. AJ springboards into a double superkick. Lee gets a double superkick and eats a 3D. Jey pins Lee.

Thoughts: The Uso's definitely worked more heelish here with Jey getting more into it. The first half of this was ugly with a lot of sloppiness from The Uso's. The end run of this got better, but I didn't think this was as good as it should have been. I was surprised to see The Uso's win here as I expected Jey to lose and then turn.

Overall thoughts: There was nothing that great here but it all made sense and was mostly easy to watch. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall and thought it was good. The next Raw is the big one and they did a solid job building to that while keeping this show relevant.
