5*Star Grand Prix Match - Blue Stars - Ami Sorei vs Hanan

Hanan jumping knees her and forearm flurries her. Ami then runs her over with a shoulder. Ami crabs her but Hanan ropebreaks and shoulder throws her. Hanan then ties her up with an arm and leg submission.

They trade forearms and chops then Ami double chops her. Ami death valley drivers her for 2 then Hanan rolls her into a leg lock. Hanan sto's her and rolls her into another leg and arm lock. Hanan then running fameassers her for 2. Ami lariats her then running clotheslines her for 2. Hanan rolls her into a pin attempt then Ami lariats her. Hanan then blue thunder bombs her for 2. Ami twisting brainbusters her and wins it.

They did too much here in only a few minutes and selling was not a priority, but it still wasn't all that bad.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Red Stars - Himeka vs Momo Kohgo

Momo dropkicks her right after intros and hits a bunch more dropkicks. Himeka then shoulders her over. Momo rolls her up then Himeka shoulders her over. Himeka splashes her in the corner then backbreakers her. Himeka then crabs her. Momo hits another dropkick then crossbodies her off the 2nd rope.

Himeka catches her 619 and Momo rolls her up for 2. Momo spinning headscissors her then 619's her. Momo springboard dropkicks her for 2 and they trade forearms. Himeka backdrops her and single leg crabs her. Himeka racks her then Momo lariats her. Himeka hits another lariat for 2 then sitout F-5's her to win.

It was short and fast paced like a lot of the matches. It wasn't particularly memorable or anything but it was okay.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Red Stars - Mai Sakurai vs Saki Kashima

Mai rolls her up early and running facekicks her. Mai then shotgun dropkicks her and Saki rakes the eyes. Saki footchokes her and slams her. Saki uses the ropes to double stomp Mai then christo's her. Saki facekicks her through the ropes then headsicssor takedowns her from the buckles. Saki then uppercuts her for 2.

Saki does a turning pedigree then is rolled up and pinned off a buzzsaw kick attempt. Mai wins.

This was short and fast and there wasn't anything wrong with this.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Red Stars - Koguma vs SAKI

Saki is wearing quite the outfit here, looking like a produce bag with tape on it. Koguma escapes her charge early and poses. Koguma taunts her and is poked in the gut then trippped and basement dropkicked. Koguma tramples her back and makes her do her pose over the ropes.

Koguma misses a dropkick and bounces off the bottom rope then is suplexed on the apron. Koguma cutters her off the 2nd rope. They trade forearms for facekicks then Koguma ddt's her. Koguma top rope dropkicks her for 2 then sunset bombs her off the top. Koguma rolls hr up for 2 then Saki rolls through another pin attempt to pin here.

This was a total sprint and they somehow still did too much despite maybe having 6 minutes only.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Blue Stars - Saya Iida vs Mayu Iwatani

Iida lariats her to start then they shoulder battle. Mayu flying back elbows her. Iida hits a big slam then back elbows and elbow drops her. Iida then knocks her over with an elbow. Iida diamond dusts her then takes a hard forearm. They trade forearms and Mayu superkicks her. Mayu high kicks her and crucifix bombs her for 2. Mayu superkicks her in the head and taps her out by holding her on top of her knees and putting her in the dragon sleeper.

This was too short to be anything special, but they did really stiff each other in the short time they had.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Red Stars - Syuri vs Sayaka Unagi

They mat wrestle. Syuri sideheadlocks her then gets headscissored and they stand off. Syuri running knees her in the corner for 2. Unagi escapes a sleeper and is kicked in the back several times. Syuri tries to kick her off the apron but is pulled down and hits her head on the apron. Syuri is then flapjacked on the apron.

Unagi twisting facebusters her then legdrops her for 2. Unagi hits forearms then facekicks her through the ropes. Syuri then underhook suplexes her for 2. Syuri misses strikes and takes forearms. Uangi hits a flurry of forearms then takes a shotgun dropkick. Unagi hits some overhead chops then codebreakers her as she is on the 2nd rope. Unagi axe kicks her over the back then blade runners her as she is bridged over the apron to the floor. Unagi then does a bridged blade runner as she is inside, then does another one for 2.

Syuri release germans her then running knees her. Unagi then rolls her up for 2 and Syuri hits knees to the gut. Unagi then rolls her up for 2 and facekicks her. Syuri high kicks her then buzzsaw kicks her for the win.

The bladerunner spots brought down this one. Syuri took all of those then just popped up right after like nothing. This was good up to that.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Red Stars - AZM vs Tam Nakano

They dodge each others kicks early and bridge out of pins early. Tam then basement dropkicks her. AZM pulls her out of the ring then kicks her from the apron. AZM then runs up the buckles and plancha's her.

AZM totally misses a top rope double stomp inside then hits a la mistica on her. AZM gets high kicked up top then Tam hanging dragon sleepers her from the top rope. They fight on the apron and Tam cutters her off the apron. Tam pumping knees her on the ropes then germans her. They roll each other up then Tam spinning high kicks her. Tam then running knees her for 2. AZM la mistica's her and then rolls her up to win it.

I liked this up until the apron cutter spot, which ended up just being a throwaway move here so they could continue sprinting.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Blue Stars - Starlight Kid vs Momo Watanabe

Momo dropkicks her early and they go outside. Kid is thrown into the post and Momo tries to knee her near the post but just gets the post. Kid slams her on the floor mat then is tripped into a chair. Momo then chairs her in full view of the ref to no DQ. Momo flurry kicks her in the corner then hits more kicks. Kid then dropkicks her in the knee and misses a standing moonsault.

Kid blocks a running knee with a stretch muffler then Momo uranages her. Kid armdrags her off the top then basement dropkicks her. Kid top rope moonsaults her but Momo gets her knees up then Momo meteoras her. Kid headscissors her then Momo hits a meteora to the back of her neck. Kid then satellite ddt's her then Momo hits a peach sunrise.

Momo gets her high kick caught then Kid does a nice roll into a stretch muffler. Kid top rope moonsaults her then Momo dragon suplexes her. Momo blocks her roll-up attempt out of the hurricanrana then does a package tombstone piledriver for 2. Momo kicks her then hits a wrist clutch + half-nelson driver and wins it.

This was a giant sprint without much selling.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Blue Stars - Natsupoi vs Hazuki

Poi charges at her and trips her then armdrags her. Haz sweeps her then armdrags her out of the ring over the back. Haz goes to tope her, but she moves and she lands on attendants instead. Poi then goes up and crossbodies her outside. Poi dropkicks her multiple times outside, even out of the ringside area. She turns her back then Haz dropkicks her from behind. Poi pulls her down hard by the hair on the floor mats in a dangerous spot then hits her with a floor mat.

Hazuki facewash kicks her through the ropes then full nelson slams her. Haz puts her in a crossface then Poit forearms her. Poi does a runnng blockbuster then dropkicks her through the ropes. Poi top rope crossbodies her for 2. They trade forearms and Haz flurries her. They then each tried to roll each other up around the ring. Haz pump kicks her then does a stiff pump kick to her face.

Poi spin kicks her and pump kicks her then does a nice low spin kick to her. Poi then germans her for 2 and hits some release german suplexes. Poi goes on the apron and is pump kicked off there then Haz topes her. Haz springboard dropkicks her then sits her on the 2nd buckle and codebreakers her. Haz then top rope sentons her and sitout slams her for 2. Haz then brainbusters her and wins it.

The selling wasn't a top priority here but it was stiff and mean. They hit each other real hard here and made it look like they really hated each other. The match was a real fast paced sprint and overall, it pretty good stuff.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Red Stars - Risa Sera vs Utami Hayashishita

They collide shoulders early then battle shoulders. Risa knocks her over with a shoulder then does a reverse rocking chair on her. Risa double kneedrops her back then Utami dropkicks her. Utami 2nd rope dropkicks her then Risa swangs her around her back and drops her. Risa giant swings her then meteoras her in the corner. Risa then drops vader bomb style double knees on her.

They forearm each other in the chest then the head. Risa drops her then Utami overhead belly to belly suplexes her. Risa hits a death valley driver then falcon arrows her. Utami rolls her back though for a 2 count. Utami schwein's her and she no sells it, then Risa schwein's her. Risa then cradle shocks her for 2.

Utami release german suplexes her out of a schwein attempt then lariats her for 2. Utami hits another lariat then spinning razor edge's her for the win.

I wasn't a big fan of this one. It was just nothing but big moves and they didn't sell that much.

5*Star Grand Prix Match - Blue Stars - Suzu Suzuki vs MIRAI

They charge at each other with forearms to start and trade. Mirai shoulders her over and takes a running forearm in the corner. Mirai back elbows her then lays on her neck and pulls her armforward. Mirai goes for an armbar and Suzu ropebreaks. Mirai gets stuck on the 2nd rope and is snapmared hard onto the apron. Suzu then jumps off the apron and stomps her on the floor. Mirai goes into the post and Suzu tries to forearm her but just gets the post. Mirai then pulls on her arm around the post and does a chickenwind around the post.

Mirai half nelson suplexes her from the cazadora position then armbars her again. Suzu spears her then chokes her over the bottom rope with her foot. She then sliding kicks her on the apron. Suzu then top rope dropkicks her for 2. Suzu decks her with a forearm then is dropped body first from the backdrop position. They trade forearms on their knees.

Suzu headbutts her then they headbutt each other at the same time. Mirai headbutts her in the shoulder then Suzu rolls her up for 2. Mirai hits a nasty stiff lariat and goes for a kimura. Mirai rolls back and Suzu rolls with her on a pin attempt. Suzu superkicks her then release germans her. Suzu hits her with a stiff half-nelson bomb then a german for 2. Mirai rolls into a kimura and Suzu rolls forward and gets put in a grounded kimura. Mirai then rolls her on her neck and taps her out.

This was a pretty strong match. They were stiff, loud and aggressive and they went with the story of Mirai working Suzu's arm, which was actually incorporated into the finish. I would have liked to have seen the apron bump mean a little more but this is a hard one to find a lot of flaws with. I don't think I'd call it a top match this year, but it was definitely on the next tier looking up.

Overall thoughts: The main even was a strong match and definitely worth seeing. There were some other good matches to be had but they all basically followed the same formula with high speed wrestling, an apron spot and some big moves without a lot of selling. The show was easy to get through due to the matches being so short though.
