CWA Campeones del Hexagono 7/30/2022

Manuel Rodriguez does a promo. He says it's time to get ready. He calls someone trash then Angel Rodriguez walks in with Los Inmortales. Angel holds them back and points at someone behind Manuel's back. Those people turn out to Bambino and Rodrigo Garcia. Rodrigo says he can count on them despite their history together. Manuel laughs at it and says they count on him, not the other way around. He says he doesn't trust them. He said they stood in his way. He said that Bambino was his teacher but implied he didn't help him very much.
Yep, that's Marty Scurll. I don't know exactly what happened but he was cancelled from most European and American promotions.
They compete for cheers early.
They then do some wrestling on the mat and Marty rolls him up for a pin attempt. Eros hiptosses him then Marty puts him in an octopus stretch.
We go to a promo from Black Scorpio during the match, who is the manager of Los Toros Salvajes. He called Rodrigo Garcia and Bambino trash rats. The he called Garcia "a disgusting, Cuban queer". He said he will be assigned to the Municipal Guard on that show to keep the fans in line. Bambino and Garcia then cut a promo. They said the time has come to pay for their actions when they beat them up in the locker room. Garcia said they can fight them face to face and wont be getting jumped from behind. He said they are going to hell for what they did to Garcia. This was entertaining.
The next show is Colision En La Bahia. It has Manuel Rodriguez vs both members of Los Inmortales in singles matches for his titles, "La Joven Connection" of Rodrigo and Garcia vs Los Toros Salvajes, Jesus Diaz vs Leinord White, Voltech Rivera vs Eros and Super Georgie vs Alberto Souffront.
We go back to the Scurll vs Eros match. Scurll pins him down then Eros runs up the ropes and armdrags him. Eros dragon screws him through the ropes
Marty signals at him to spears his leg and he does but it's just ignored, then Marty slams him. Marty slams him on the basketball court floor. Marty then throws him onto chairs outside and he goes into a wall. Marty then backbreakers him in the ring for 2. Eros then ddt's him.
Eros hits corner punches and lariats on his comeback. Eros then germans him. Eros clips his knee and goes to work on it. Marty rolls him up for 2 then Eros top rope moonsaults him for 2. Marty rolls him with an interesting knee submission then hits a tornado ddt. Marty half-nelson suplexes him then jack knife powerbombs him for 2.
We then cut to a promo with Eddman and Ray Maldonado. Ray thanks the fans and and Eddman doesn't seem real thrilled with him. Eddman talks about Hansel Velez and says he is tired of carrying Ray. He said he's tired of living in the past with him. He said he will win the match they are going to have and says he will win it.
More promos for Colision En La Bahia.
Manuel Rodriguez is washing his hands and face in the mirror. Los Inmortales then show up behind him and jump him. They target his shoulder and use a tire iron on it. They then pull his arm backwards with the tire iron and Angel Rodriguez laughs.
We finally go to back to the Scurll/Eros match and they trade pins. They slap each other on their knees and Scurll spinning forearms him. Eros then crossfaces him and Scurll puts him in an AT lock. He rolls him up to pin him then Eros figure fours variants him. Scurll 2nd rope cutters him for 2 then crossface chickenwings him and wins it.
This was unusual with this match having two different breaks where they showed unrelated promos. They tried to have an epic and Eros didn't look that out of place against him, but the match didn't make that much sense. It still probably did put Eros over some, but it could have been better.
Alisson does a promo on Leandra. She calls her a coward for attacking her form behind. She says she will break her face whenever she finds her. Leandra says she attacked her like she was a loser and says she has a surprise for her. She talks about her supposedly being a 4th generation wrestler.
We then cut clips of Los Toros attacking Garcia and Bambino. We then see the Garcia and Bambino promo from earlier. They say the Toros wanted the attention of the tag champs and says they attacked them like cowards.
Voltech Rivera then starts talking about being called a stepping stone by Eros. Eros says he will trample him if he says he is a stepping stone.
We cut to Alfred Allen arguing with Hiram Tua (CWA Puerto Rico Champ) about a title shot. Tua doesn't want to give him a shot and Alfred says he will take it if he is not given it.
We then get a Manuel Rodriguez promo. He says he will rip Los Inmortales heads off.
Angel Rodriguez, Los Inmortales and another wrestler laugh as they have a tire iron on a desk.
We then have a final plug for the 7/30 Colision En La Bahia show.
Overall thoughts: There was only one match here as they either ran out of footage or wanted to do more work to hype the show that was going to happen the same day. Scurll and Eros tried for an epic and while I guess it was successful, I didn't think it was that good of a match. There wasn't a lot else to this except hype videos and promos. I wouldn't recommend this one.
