New Japan Pro Wrestling 8/17/2022 G1 Climax 32 Day 19

I'm just covering the two G-1 matches today:

G1 Climax 32 Semifinal Match - Kazuchika Okada vs Tama Tonga

Okada shoulders him over early then Tama hits armdrags. Tama dropkicks him and corner punches. Okada takes a boot in the corner then flapjacks Tama. Okada neckbreakers him then ddt's him on the floor. Okada hits some forearms then Tama lariats him. Tama hits a corner splash then backdrops him for 2. Okada running back elbows him then ddt's him.

Tama hits a tonga twist then is thrown in the rails outside. He then hits another tonga twist on the floor and then jumping ddt's him in the ring. Tama rolling death valley drivers him then top rope splashes him for 2. Tama goes for a jumping cutter and is brought down over Okada's side. Okada then money clips him.

Okada top rope elbows him then Tama hits a dropkick on him. Okada dropkicks him then lariats him. Okada hits a short arm lariat then another dropkick. Okada sit out drivers him then takes a cutter. Okada back body drops him then misses a dropkick. Okada blocks a jumping cutter and turns another attempt into a money clip. Tama rolls him up and enzugiri's him. Okada enzugiri's his back then does a weird set up into an emerald flowsion. Okada then rainmakers him and wins it.

It was okay with a lot of of reversals and with Tama trying hard to get the upset win before the inevitable.

G1 Climax 32 Semifinal Match - Will Osperay vs Tetsuya Naito

Naito goes for a hurricanrana and Will flips out of it. Naito rolls out of a move and does his tranquillo pose. Will standing ssp's him then Naito reverse ddt's him over the 2nd rope over his knee. Naito dropkicks him in the back and reverse ddt's him. They trade forearms and Naito does his slingshot swinging dropkick in the corner. Will then handspring back enzugiri's him.

Naito is dropped throat first over the top rope then running facekicked. Will springboard forearms him then Naito puts his legs around his neck and works a hold. Will standing ssp's him. They trade forearms on their knees then stand up and trade them. Will hits a big slap and Naito slaps him back. Will blocks his tornado ddt then suplexes him. Naito then tornado ddt's him off the ropes.

Naito hits gloria for 2 then top rope poisonrana's him for 2. Will is back up seconds later with a package tombstone move for a 2 count. Will hits a hidden blade then Naito reverse ddt's him. Naito enzugiri's him then Will hook kicks him. Naito spinebusters him and takes a forearm to the back of the head. Naito destino's him then takes a running back elbow for 2. Will then stormbreakers him and wins it.

I wasn't a real big fan of this one. Just pretty much all moves without much else and Will recovering from the top rope poisonrana after a few seconds was just stupid.
